NOTABLE QUOTES

President Trump: Wouldn’t it be ironic if the Supreme Court of the United States, after showing that they didn’t have the courage to do what they should have done on the Great Presidential Election Fraud of 2020, was PACKED by the same people, the Radical Left Democrats (who they are so afraid of!), that they so pathetically defended in not hearing the Election Fraud case. Now there is a very good chance they will be diluted (and moved throughout the court system so that they can see how the lower courts work), with many new Justices added to the Court, far more than has been reported. There is also a good chance that they will be term-limited. Our politically correct Supreme Court will get what they deserve—an unconstitutionally elected group of Radical Left Democrats who are destroying our Country.

Nikki Haley former U.S. Ambassador: I would not run, if President Trump ran. I had a great working relationship with him.

Matt Hepburn retired Army Lt. Col who worked for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency: Consider a ship like the USS Theodore Roosevelt — hobbled last year when 1,271 crew members tested positive for the coronavirus. What if everyone on board had their health monitored with this subdermal implant, now in late-stage testing? It’s not some dreaded government microchip to track your every move, but a tissue-like gel engineered to continuously test your blood.

Jen Psaki WH Press Secretary’s condescending remark on how the Biden administration will reach white conservatives regarding COVID vaccinations: We’re also looking for — we’ve run PSAs on ‘The Deadliest Catch,’” Psaki said. “We’re engaged with NASCAR and Country Music TV. We’re looking for a range of creative ways to get directly connected to white conservative communities. We won’t always be the best messengers, but we’re still trying to meet people where they are . . .

President Biden right in on the weekend death of 20 year old Dante Write by police: I think we got to wait and see what the investigation shows. And the entire investigation. You all watched, I assume as I did the film, which is fairly, the body cam, which is fairly, fairly graphic. Question is, was it an accident, was it intentional? It remains to be determined by a full blown investigation.”

Rashida Talib (D-MI) following the death of Dante Wright tweeted: It wasn’t an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist. Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder. No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed.

2020 ELECTION

Piper: Georgia probe of Stacey Abrams-tied group ongoing with fight over subpoenaed documents
Georgia ethics commission is continuing its probe of “potential illegal campaign activities” by a voter mobilization group formerly run by Stacey Abrams, Democratic gubernatorial nominee in 2018, an official told Just the News. The New Georgia Project appealed a Gwinnett County Superior Court ruling that ordered the group to “comply with previously issued subpoenas” from the Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission, Executive Director David Emadi wrote in an email.

U.S. SUPREME COURT

Chalberg: Unpacking the Supreme Court?
Despite controlling neither the sword nor the purse, the Supreme Court has been able to wield considerable power by in effect legislating rather than simply judging. To lessen and perhaps gradually eliminate battles like “Roe v. Wade,” why not reduce the number of Supreme Court justices to five? First, let’s remember that altering the number of justices would not require a constitutional amendment. The Constitution requires a Supreme Court, but it is silent on the precise number of Supreme Court justices. When the country began in 1789 there were six justices. In 1801 a freshly inaugurated President Thomas Jefferson tried, but failed, to reduce that number to five. Near the end of his administration a seventh justice was added in 1807. Thirty years later the eighth and ninth joined the court. […] i n any case, it makes more sense to reduce the size of the Supreme Court than to increase it. Why? Because Alexander Hamilton has proved to be wrong. In Federalist Number 78 Hamilton made the now mistaken case that . . .

Koskinen: Politicians in Robes Destroy the Court
Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s recent rejection of packing the Supreme Court is another welcome addition to the debate, muted in recent months, of whether additional seats should be added to America’s highest court in order to dilute the power of its conservative majority. It also appears to have jogged President Biden’s memory of the issue, for he announced the formation of a commission to examine court expansion shortly after Breyer’s remarks. Delivering a lengthy lecture at Harvard Law School, the liberal Breyer delved deeply into the history of the United States Supreme Court, discussing how the Court achieved legitimacy in the eyes of the American public. Breyer went on to condemn the politicization of the court. Politicization, Breyer argues, would only delegitimize the Supreme Court, weakening it to a point where it would be useless.

GOP

Black: The GOP’s Trump Solution
The Wall Street Journal on Friday published an editorial headlined “The GOP’s Trump Problem.” It gets things terribly wrong. The GOP is Trump’s party and it is the Wall Street Journal that has the Trump problem. Having been commendably supportive of the former president through most of his term, the Journal joined in the general embarkation of NeverTrumpers over the ostensible election results. The theory that inspired this headline is Trump had his chance but lost the election in a manner practically indistinguishable from defeated incumbents Jimmy Carter in 1980 and George H. W. Bush in 1992 (when there were no suggestions of questionable results). The editors suggest further that Trump had exhausted any grounds he had for contesting the fairness of the counting of ballots, and that it was his duty to go quietly into that good night and do everything that he could to elect Republican senators in Georgia to preserve the Republican majority in the Senate and to enhance the likelihood of the reelection next year of Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia and his secretary of state Brad Raffensperger. These state officials were to be embraced even though they had capitulated to the leader of the Georgia Democrats, Stacey Abrams, permitting the critical electoral votes of their state to be wrongfully cast for Joe Biden. They assumed Trump had to do all he could to keep those in his own party who had betrayed him in place. That is not normally how the system, or human nature, works.

Kaminsky: Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds Sets The Bar For Republicans To Refuse To Enable Biden’s Border Crisis
Last Thursday, Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds told WHO radio in Des Moines that she declined a request by the Biden administration to house illegally present foreign minors. Reynolds became the first GOP governor in the nation to refuse a temporary housing request for illegals trafficked by international drug cartels in league with Communist China to destabilize the United States. She models behavior more lawmakers would be prudent to heed. “This is not our problem,” Reynolds said, in addition to noting that Iowa does not have the resources to provide temporary housing for the U.S. Department of Housing and Human Services to use. “This is the president’s problem. He’s the one that has opened the border, and he needs to be responsible for this and he needs to stop it.”

CHINA: AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY

Schweizer: China: Compromising U.S. Elected Officials
China is certainly not the only foreign government that has made American politicians wealthy, either directly or indirectly. Given the size of their economy and the wealth of commercial ties between U.S. business and China, however, they do it bigger and more broadly than anyone else. This beneficence, I believe, poses potentially serious questions about China’s influence, China’s access to American policy makers, and China’s activities in the halls of power. Further, it shows the toothlessness of American ethics watchdogs that these issues have not been more thoroughly reviewed and challenged previously.
The financial relationship between the McConnell-Chao family and the Chinese government has since only deepened. In 2017, as Elaine Chao joined the Trump administration, the Chinese government signed several new agreements with the Chao family. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but similar CSSC deals with other companies have recently cost about $47 million per vessel, which would place the total value of the deals Foremost has with the Chinese at nearly half a billion dollars. Under current disclosure laws, which do not apply to adult relatives, neither then-Secretary Chao nor Senator McConnell was required to report their family’s dealings with a major foreign military contractor. […] When Hunter Biden was making deals in China and Ukraine while his father was Vice President, he had nothing to offer besides selling influence. At least in the case of Elaine Chao, her family’s business is real and legitimate, and was well established long before she got into public life.
