White House officials said $150 million of that aid will be withheld until Ukraine conducts the reforms that Biden is asking for.

His book shows how the GND — which dovetails with the U.N.’s Agenda 21 — has nothing to do with “saving the planet” and is actually about “transforming modern America into a centrally planned and managed society and imposing an ideology that will rein in the freedoms of individual Americans.” Like Gorbachev, GND champions admit as much. Alexander: Tucker Carlson denies ADL accusation that he is a white supremacist and reiterates claim that the Democratic party is ‘trying to replace current electorate with voters from the Third World’.
Tucker Carlson on Monday night doubled down on his claim that Democrats were deliberately ‘importing’ migrants to the United States to make the electorate more likely to vote them into power, laughing off the Anti Defamation League’s labeling of him as a white supremacist. Carlson sparked anger on Thursday by discussing ‘replacement theory’ – the idea that the electorate was being engineered, via immigration. ‘I know that the left and all the gatekeepers on Twitter become literally hysterical if you use the term ‘replacement’, if you suggest that the Democratic party is trying to replace the current electorate, the voters now casting ballots, with new people, more obedient voters, from the Third World.’ The ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt accused Carlson of ‘open-ended endorsement of white supremacist ideology’.

Bedford: CBS’s Refusal To Even Explain Itself Is The New, Shameless Reality For Republicans And Conservatives
Bipartisanship is a rare thing these days, but CBS’s “60 Minutes” managed to pull it off this past week. Its allegation that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s vaccine distribution was corrupt earned sharp accusations of falsehood from Republicans, the Poynter Institute, Democratic officials and politicians, and even CBS’s colleagues in corporate media. So did the once-esteemed show explain or retract its reporting Sunday night during its first show since the DeSantis story? Nope, not at all. Instead, they read a few comments from viewers on the story and moved on. This isn’t an aberration: It’s a new reality that Republicans and conservatives alike will have to contend with in the years to come.

Kelly: Indefinite Incarceration for Protesters With ‘Wrong’ Politics
As a Minneapolis suburb devolves into chaos, Americans are once again reminded of the different set of rules that applies to protestors on the Left. Joe Biden’s Justice Department wants to keep Richard Barnett in jail—indefinitely. The Arkansas man, photographed showboating inside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office on January 6, has been behind bars for more than three months. Barnett occupied Pelosi’s office for six whole minutes; he absconded with a piece of mail and left her a note that read “Nancy, Bigo was here, you Bitch.” The desk belonged to a Pelosi aide, not the speaker herself. Several reporters and photographers who also happened to be in Pelosi’s office at the very same time prompted Barnett to sit at the desk and “act natural” as they took a series of photos. Death threats against Barnett’s family immediately started when a press photograph of Barnett went viral that afternoon; Pelosi’s daughter tweeted the picture right after it was taken. Upon his return home, Barnett met with FBI investigators without an attorney present, allowed for a search of his home, and turned himself in. He was taken into custody on January 8 and charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and possession of a “deadly or dangerous weapon,” to wit, a walking stick that also can be used as a stun gun. He never used it. A local judge authorized Barnett’s conditional release a week later but federal prosecutors, as they’ve done in many cases, immediately appealed to the chief judge of the D.C. district court, which is handling every Capitol breach case, to deny Barnett’s release.

The prohibition against leaving cars on blocks restricts my choice. Hamlet is bound by the “canon against self-slaughter.” Laws and taboos restrain my ability to do what I want, and so I am not free. In this model, the most free man is the one most able to subdue reality to his desires. However, to the ancient mind, freedom meant conforming one’s soul to reality. They would claim that freedom from all constraint is actually the worst form of slavery.
In book VIII of Plato’s Republic, Socrates describes the decline of a regime from aristocracy to tyranny. At each step, the soul and city move by degree from the good and rational to the base and appetitive.
