Pavlich: Mom Rips School District for Keeping Kids in Masks
A fed up Georgia mother recently took her local school board to task and demanded it end mask mandates for children.
“Every month, I come here and I hear the same thing: social, emotional health. If you truly mean that, you would end the mask requirement tonight. Tonight. This is not March 2020 anymore. We have three vaccines, every adult in the state of Georgia that wants that vaccine is eligible to get it right now and every one of us knows that young children are not affected by this virus. They’re not and that’s a blessing,” she said. “But as the adults, what have we done with that blessing? We’ve shoved it to the side and we’ve said, ‘We don’t care. You’re still going to wear a mask on your face every day. Five and six year olds. You still can’t play together on the playground like normal children. Seven and eight year olds. We don’t care. We’re still going to force you to carry a burden that was never yours to carry.’ Shame on us!”

Rosiak: Ohio State Board of Education Sued for Allegedly Banning Criticism of ‘1619 Project’
Daniel Regenold said the state board banned citizens from speaking during the public comment period of its meetings if they disagreed with critical race theory or the schools’ racial equity policies, alleging that the move violated his 1st and 14th Amendment rights. The board president has acknowledged creating and enforcing such a policy, even though it was never put to a vote, the lawsuit said. Critics have been “barred from having access to the public forum created… for public comments or testimony… based solely upon [their] anticipated statements or testimony,” the lawsuit said.

[…] Here is a partial list of words and phrases that have been butchered by the left to retain — and gain — power: Immigration The most recent dystopian dictate from Biden/Harris is the order to Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Patrol to cease using the terms “alien,” “illegal alien,” and “assimilation.” Those words will be replaced with “noncitizen or migrant,” “undocumented,” and “integration,” respectively. CBP’s head explained, “We enforce our nation’s laws while also maintaining the dignity of every individual with whom we interact. The words we use matter and will serve to further confer that dignity to those in our custody.” No, they do not enforce our nation’s laws. If they did, our borders would be closed rather than having tens of thousands of illegal immigrants crossing it. And while words matter, the majority of those flocking into the country don’t speak English, so this Orwellian decree is meant for U.S. consumption, not the “dignity” of illegal aliens.
