NOTABLE QUOTES

Bradley J. Birzer contributor to The Imaginative Conservative: Just as no person can last forever, no republic can last forever. The trick, however, to prolonging its life is to promote that which gives it energy and vigor in its youth—virtue—and that which also staves off the inevitable tepidness that accompanies mid-life: audacity.

Mark Simmons Oregon’s last Republican House Speaker (2002 -2003) endorses reimagining state lines: The proposal envisions a “greater Idaho,” and seeks to move 18 counties and portions of three more into Idaho, as well as several counties in northern California with similar grievances about that state’s Democratic supermajority in Sacramento.

Rep. Dan Newhouse (R- WA) sounding the alarm that China is buying prime agricultural real estate across the U.S.: “leading us toward the creation of a Chinese-owned agricultural land monopoly.”

Adam Shapiro Fox Business correspondent interviewed Maria Svart Director of the Democratic Socialists of America: Svart lays bare the ultimate goals of the Democratic Socialists such as limiting the ownership of private property, nationalizing healthcare and pushing the Democratic Party further to the left.

Mark Levin author and host of Life, Liberty & Levin explains why Marxist ideology is embraced by the Democrat Party: “Despite all the examples of how horrendous and inhumane Marxism and its offshoots have been, a hundred million dead and God knows how many billions enslaved. You know, it just wasn’t done the right way.”

Darren Beattie contributor to Revolver.news: The meltdown in South Africa isn’t a natural disaster or a random fluke. It’s a choice. South Africa was the first modern nation to be refounded on the anti-white principles of critical race theory, and now it is reaping the whirlwind of that choice.

William Sullivan contributor to American Thinker: If the government can force vaccination for what is, to you, an incredibly unthreatening risk, what can’t the government do? We’re outside the realm of governmental policy based upon the “collective good,” and have reached the realm of governmental policy based upon what the government believes is “for your own good. If we accept that the government should be in the business of coercing Americans to accept the physical injection of an experimental vaccine, which carries unknown risks, to inoculate them against a virus that represents an infinitesimal risk of serious harm or death to the vast majority of healthy Americans, why shouldn’t the government be in the business of telling us what shouldn’t be introduced to our bodies, given new scientific evidence?

Audrey Unverferth contributor to The Federalist quotes Dr. Marty Makary a medical expert and professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine: Makary says “a tremendous number of government and private policies” regarding the vaccination of children are dependent upon one questionable data point. The CDC claims 335 children under the age of 18 have died with a COVID diagnosis in their record. However, Makary reports that, “the CDC, which has 21,000 employees, hasn’t researched each death to find out whether Covid caused it or if it involved a pre-existing medical condition.”

Alex Newman contributor to The New American: “The deep state has really crossed the line. They have no right to do medicine at gun point.”

Steve Grammatico contributor to American Thinker: By now everyone with two working brain cells knows, or pretends not to know, that Democrats cheated on a colossal scale to get Whisperin’ Joe into the White House. So it’s safe to say that Republicans, having wised up to the Donks’ stratagems and skullduggery, will capture both House and Senate in next year’s midterms. Right? Yes. That is, assuming elections actually take place on November 8, 2022.

Casey Chalk contributor to The Federalist: It’s easy to spot who scares the corporate media most. Just look at who they are piling on to destroy.

Mike Huckabee when Ben and Jerry’s announced that the company will no longer be selling their ice cream in “Occupied Palestinian Territory”: “The people of Israel will get along just fine. I can attest to the fact that if they don’t have Ben & Jerry’s, somehow God’s people, God’s kingdom and God’s land will be able to make it.”

BEHIND THE DEEP STATE

Western Journal: Bombshell lawsuit charges vaccine deaths being concealed
Attorney Thomas Renz filed a lawsuit in federal court in Alabama on July 19 that alleges a massive government cover-up of vaccination-related U.S. deaths that number “at least 45,000.” The suit, filed on behalf of America’s Frontline Doctors in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, is based on a sworn statement by a government insider under federal whistleblower protection. These numbers are very close to what Dr. Peter McCullough reported in a video posted June 20 by LeoHohmann.com, Behind the Vaccine Veil: Doctor cites ‘whistleblowers’ inside CDC who claim injections have already killed 50,000 Americans. Renz is a partner at Renz Law, a Fremont, Ohio-based law firm that specializes in cases fighting against medical tyranny.

Newman: Mandatory Vaccines Coming Soon?
The Deep State wants desperately to force the experimental COVID injections on everyone, and more significant mandates may be just around the corner, warns The New American magazine’s Senior Editor Alex Newman in this episode of Behind The Deep State. Already, such mandates are being put in place in France. Dr. Fauci is calling for local governments to impose mandatory vaccines. And the military is preparing to mandate them for all soldiers and sailors as soon as they get approved by the FDA. Humanity must resist!

Brown: ‘You Do Not Know What You Are Talking About!’: Fauci Lashes Out At Sen. Rand Paul For Suggesting He Lied To Congress
Dr. Anthony Fauci lashed out at Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Tuesday for suggesting he lied to Congress when he claimed the National Institutes of Health (NIH) never funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Paul began the tense exchange by implying that Fauci perjured himself when he last testified before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee on May 11. “Dr. Fauci, as you are aware, it is a crime to lie to Congress,” Paul said, adding that such is a felony punishable by up to five years in jail. “On your last trip to our committee on May 11, you stated that the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.” Referencing a paper by Dr. Shi Zhengli of the Wuhan Virology Lab, which claimed the NIH did, in fact, fund her research into SARS-related coronaviruses, Paul asked, “Knowing it is a crime to lie to Congress, do you wish to retract your statement?”

Creitz: Rand Paul: Fauci intimidates scientists from contradicting him because ‘he controls all the funding’
“He has been [at NIH] for 40 years; probably 39 years too long. But he controls all the funding,” Paul warned. “So, people are deathly afraid of him. Researchers will not speak out. Why have there not been other scientists?” Paul said that he receives letters from scientists that routinely contradict Fauci’s prescriptions and public statements, but that they all offer the same regret: that they are afraid to speak out against what the health care bureaucrat says. “They are very distrustful of what he is saying. They don’t think he is making sense and reading the science accurately,” said Paul. “They’re afraid to speak out because many of them are university scientists and they depend on NIH funds: To cross him means it’s last money you will ever get.”

Sherman: Senior FBI official took free gifts from media while Trump-Russia probe was underway, watchdog says
The investigation found that the official, who has not been named and has since retired from the agency, “had numerous contacts with members of the media between January and November 2016 in violation of FBI policy,” as well as accepted unauthorized gifts from media members, according to the report.

2022 ELECTION

Grammatico : How Democrats could steal the midterms
Who doubts that Democrats, with a death grip on power now, are capable of anything to keep Pelosi and Schumer on top and Biden’s cabal in the White House calling the shots? Well, in a takeaway from those absconding Dem Texas legislators, you can’t be defeated if you don’t show up for the game. Fixing a presidential election proved simple; given the number of candidates involved, rigging midterms would be a reach. An alternative? Regarding national contests, things gets complicated, but here are two money quotes from a 2004 Congressional Research Service report on federal elections: Congress would have the power, by statute, to “postpone … House and Senate elections,” and “Congress could enact a statute delegating the authority to postpone an election to the Executive Branch.” Justification for either action? “Terrorism,” “calamitous events,” and the ambiguous “national emergency” — such as, say, civil disorder on a massive scale leading up to Election Day. Consider this scenario: . . .

THE DEMOCRAT LED WAR ON AMERICA’S CHILDREN

Unverferth: Johns Hopkins Team: There Are Still Zero COVID Deaths Among Healthy Kids
A team of Johns Hopkins researchers recently reported that there have been zero COVID deaths among healthy kids, but the Centers for Disease Control doesn’t care. Dr. Marty Makary is a medical expert and professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Carey Business School. His research team “worked with the nonprofit FAIR Health to analyze approximately 48,000 children under 18 diagnosed with Covid in health-insurance data from April to August 2020.” After studying comprehensive data on thousands of children, the team “found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.” Rather than acknowledge this scientific reality, Makary says the CDC continues to use “flimsy evidence” to push the COVID vaccine upon children.

Kay & Rufo: Should Critical Race Theory Be Banned in Public Schools?—a Conversation with Christopher F. Rufo
The creators and defenders of Critical Race Theory, or CRT is it’s often known, describe it as a legal and academic movement aimed at critically examining the many ways in which racism manifests, with a view toward pushing beyond traditionally liberal color-blind laws and solutions. It has been around since the 1970s, but in the wake of Black Lives Matter, CRT has suddenly become a lot more prominent in progressive activism and academia. And while many conservatives have pushed back on CRT throughout the years, basically accusing its champions of using postmodern language to justify reverse racism, no one has pushed back quite as hard as Christopher Rufo. As a speaker, media personality, web pundit, and now filmmaker, he has railed hard against CRT and called for efforts to ban its inclusion in public school curricula. Last year, when then President Donald Trump took action to block CRT-based training materials from being used in federal government agencies, it was because he’d seen Rufo appear on Fox News. Rufo has been so successful in getting his message out to legislators that even some conservatives have wondered whether the anti-CRT backlash might itself be assuming an anti-liberal character in some cases. After all, it’s one thing to argue against progressive ideas, it’s another thing to use laws to block their expression in certain contexts. I recently spoke to Christopher Rufo about these ideological tensions. Jonathan Kay: . . .

Kaminsky: No, The Biden Administration Is Not Backing Down On Critical Race Theory In Schools
While many opposed to critical race theory (CRT) took a victory lap upon Education Secretary Miguel Cardona announcing Friday the Department of Education (DOE) “will not dictate or recommend specific curriculum be introduced or taught in classrooms,” conservatives would be prudent to see through the smoke-and-mirrors. There is no substantive indication the Biden administration is not intent on supporting an identity-politics transformation of American schools. […] After more than 35,000 public comments objected to such ideology, Cardona released a statement clarifying that decisions about specific curricula “will continue to be made at the local level,” resulting in some right-leaning outlets taking this to mean the administration is pumping the brakes on CRT. Far from it. Cardona’s Friday blog post should still worry Americans interested in preserving an education system that honors American values. DOE still stated it will be “encourag[ing] projects that incorporate racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse perspectives” in relation to federal American history and civics education grants. In other words, don’t be fooled.

Prestigicomo: 1A Win: Court Says Law Mandating Trans Pronoun Use A Violation Of Free Speech
A California appellate court ruled Friday that a provision in a state law passed four years ago mandating that certain health care workers use transgender pronouns is a violation of free speech, protected by the First Amendment. CA’s Third District Court of Appeal upended SB 219, which in part forced nursing home workers to use preferred transgender pronouns and names for patients. Notably, violators of the law “could be charged with a misdemeanor and subject to punishment of a $1000 fine, or even up to one year in jail,” . . . Justice: These Americans Are So Fed Up With Portland And Sacramento They Want To Redraw State Borders
No state is more emblematic of deepening political and cultural divisions in America than Oregon, where a movement is underway in the state’s more conservative southern and eastern counties to break away from the radically leftist urban centers in the northwest and become part of an enlarged Idaho.[…]
“The Oregon legislature is not listening to rural Oregon’s representatives or senators,” Mike McCarter, the founder of Move Oregon’s Border told The Federalist at the proposed boundary along the Deschutes River in LaPine, 170 miles from Salem. “They don’t have to… so they’re just doing their own agenda.”
That agenda, whether it comes from the governor, legislature, or ballot initiatives, is dictated by the 78 percent of Oregon’s population living on 21 percent of the land, crafting policies that better fit the needs and culture of the northwest urban metropolis, anchored by Portland, as opposed to the small, conservative towns that dot the rest of the state. That agenda includes . . . […] Simmons said induction into Idaho and separation from Oregon would be best for all parties, arguing . . .

CHINA: AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY

Beyrer: Kerry: US Must End Climate ‘Suicide Pact’ by Cooperating With Beijing
Biden climate czar John Kerry said in a Tuesday speech that the United States must end its “suicide pact” with China by cooperating with the Communist regime on climate change. Kerry told listeners that the only way to calm tensions with Beijing is through cooperation on climate change, even as the United States and China compete on human rights, trade, and the future of democratic Taiwan. “It is not a mystery that China and the U.S. have many differences,” Kerry said. “But on climate, cooperation is the only way to break free from the world’s current mutual suicide pact.” Kerry’s own remarks, however, could stand in the way of such a goal. The former secretary of state admitted to lawmakers in May that Uyghur slave labor fuels green energy supply chains, potentially complicating climate cooperation efforts.

Mann: Congress attempts to crack down on Chinese acquisition of American farmland
Congressional Democrats and Republicans are raising concerns over China buying prime agricultural real estate across the U.S. – in an apparent, continuing effort to exert influence on the American economy. Members recently advanced legislation that warns that such purchases also increases China’s involvement in the American food system, posing a national security risk. More broadly, Congress has recently taken up the issue of American reliance on China in industries including semiconductors and minerals – both of which are key parts of the U.S. supply chain. Washington GOP Rep. Dan Newhouse says the situation is “leading us toward the creation of a Chinese-owned agricultural land monopoly.”

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING FOREIGN POLICY

Swan, Ward & Desiderio: U.S. urges Ukraine to stay quiet on Russian pipeline
In the midst of tense negotiations with Berlin over a controversial Russia-to-Germany pipeline, the Biden administration is asking a friendly country to stay quiet about its vociferous opposition. And Ukraine is not happy. U.S. officials have signaled that they’ve given up on stopping the project, known as the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, and are now scrambling to contain the damage by striking a grand bargain with Germany. At the same time, administration officials have quietly urged their Ukrainian counterparts to withhold criticism of a forthcoming agreement with Germany involving the pipeline, according to four people with knowledge of the conversations. The U.S. officials have indicated that going public with opposition to the forthcoming agreement could damage the Washington-Kyiv bilateral relationship, those sources said. […] The administration’s position is at odds with much of Congress and with the Ukrainian government and other Eastern European allies, who have long held that U.S. intervention can still block completion of the pipeline, which is nearly completed.

Washington Dailies: Supreme Court lawyers tell Biden’s commission they oppose packing the court
President Biden‘s Supreme Court commission heard Tuesday from a group of lawyers who practice before the justices and who did not have a favorable response to progressive proposals to pack the court. Maureen Mahoney, co-chair of the Supreme Court Practitioners’ Committee, told the panel in its third public meeting they oppose moves to enlarge the court. “A larger bench could make arguments less productive, deliberations more difficult and yield even more opinions with less clarity in the law,” she said. The commission, though, also heard from progressive activist groups who charged it is time to add justices to the bench, arguing the move is constitutional because the number of justices has fluctuated in the past. The commission also discussed potential term limits for the justices.

Thornton: Democrats Plot a Fiscal Apocalypse
And why Republicans are complicit. As promised, the Democrats are preparing a budget that will cost $4.1 trillion over the next decade, including $3.5 trillion in new spending ––“the largest spending increase in American history,” the Wall Street Journal reports. The legislation will turn into law a progressive wish-list: green pork for “renewable energy” grifters; “a robust expansion of Medicare,” as Chuck Schumer gloated, despite the program’s impending bankruptcy; “cash for universal pre-K, paid family leave, a new federal child-care program, free community college,” and “more money as well for permanently higher ObamaCare subsidies, teachers unions, affordable housing, home healthcare, food subsidies and welfare programs,” as the Journal catalogues this drunken-sailor fiscal binge. Of course, there’s no money to pay for all this largesse, and making the “rich pay their fair share,” as the Dem’s canard goes, won’t even come close to funding it. Indeed, confiscating the collective wealth of the country’s 614 billionaires––$4.56 trillion–– wouldn’t even cover the fed’s budget for FY2020, $4.8 trillion. And this proposed new splurge comes on top of the $5.3 trillion already allocated over the past year for “covid relief,” which has lifted our national debt to $23.3 trillion, a dangerous 127% of GDP. If the Dems’ current spending spree actually happens, we will be facing a fiscal apocalypse. And Republicans will share in the responsibility for this catastrophe, since for decades they have gone along with the progressive redistributionist welfare state, often at the expense of military preparedness. Widburg: Pausing a minute to consider the damage leftism does to America
Every day, I look for current stories that are interesting and report them here with added facts or commentary. Today, however, I kept running smack into stories that were too short to qualify for an entire post. However, I was haunted by the fact that a common thread bound them together – and that thread is the terrible decay America has suffered since the Chinese unleashed COVID and the Democrats weaponized it. Biden has accelerated the problems but the craziness appears everywhere Democrats are at work. Democrat policies in California In California, robberies of items worth less than $950 are misdemeanors, not felonies. Moreover, in both San Francisco and Los Angeles, the prosecutors whom George Soros placed in office will not prosecute crimes. They exist to protect criminals, not law-abiding citizens. And that is how you end up with this video: . . . Democrat policies on our Southern border . . .
In Michigan, the FBI orchestrated a kidnapping plot. Last year, we learned that some people wanted to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer. It appears, though, that the FBI operatives involved in the plot originated it and planned it. It also appears that the FBI was trying to sabotage the lawyers for the defense.

Bedford: Corporations Are Steamrolling Small Business, Buying Up Homes, And Crushing The Dream, But We Can Fight Back
Like many other states in the union, Connecticut is still paying an extra $300 a month on top of preexisting unemployment benefits to anyone who wants to stay home instead of working. For small businesses especially, this is a problem. The economy is reawakening, and even in deeply pro-lockdown areas like the District of Columbia, businesses are at full capacity while everywhere employers complain they cannot get enough staff in the door. […] Difficulty in hiring is hitting everyone, but there’s one group of companies that’s going to continue on and get through it, and it’s the large corporate chains. Our biggest corporations are always the ones best positioned to survive disastrous government policies. They were the ones that were most likely to survive the man-made catastrophe of coronavirus lockdowns. They were the companies that reaped the most taxpayer aid. A lot of major corporations didn’t just survive 2020, they thrived in it: Last year, for example, was one Amazon’s best — and one of the worst for their brick-and-mortar and mom-and-pop competitors. Over and over again, the big guys have won out while the little guys went under. […] Big businesses win, small businesses wither and die; that’s been the story of this country, more or less, for two generations. But it’s not just small businesses that are vanishing — even the American ideal of home ownership is going away. […] Take BlackRock, a multinational asset manager that controls about $9 trillion. Over the past decade they’ve been buying U.S. single-family houses. A lot of them: They own about 80,000 right now. But it’s not only BlackRock — pension funds are buying up houses too. So are foreign sovereign wealth funds, and rich Chinese and other foreigners looking to stash their wealth abroad. They’re paying all in cash, sometimes 10, 25, 50 percent over the asking price.
Overall, in the first quarter of this year, one in every seven house purchases was made by an institutional investor to be rented out. Read more at The Federalist.

Tucker Carlson: We’re allowed to ask questions and demand answers
It turns out, according to Gene Wu, being vaccinated doesn’t stop you from getting or spreading COVID-19. Did you know that? Gene Wu didn’t. Just a week ago, on July 13, Wu said exactly the opposite. He explained that the pilgrims didn’t need masks because they had all been vaccinated, and the vaccine works dummy. But now it doesn’t. What’s going on, Gene Wu? Unfortunately, Dr. Wu wasn’t able to join us tonight. He’s still at the airport, meeting fans. Instead, we have tape for you from the UK’s Chief Scientific Advisor, a man called “Sir” Patrick Vallance. This tape is from today. Gene Wu and friends should have watched it before leaving Texas. It makes you wonder how effective are these drugs anyway: VALLANCE: In terms of the number of people in hospital who’ve been double vaccinated, we know it’s around 60% of the people being admitted to hospital with COVID have been double vaccinated and that’s not surprising because the vaccines are not 100% effective.

Fears of a Setting Sun: The Disillusionment of America’s Founders
Delivers an illuminating account of how the founding fathers worried about the future of America
Dennis C. Rasmussen. Princeton Univ, $29.95 (288p) ISBN 978-0-691-21023-0

Birzer: Limits of the Founding
No true republican believes that a republic lasts forever. Far from it. Republics reflect the organic order and natural law of the universe, and they mimic the three faculties of human understanding: the head/executive (rationality); the soul/aristocracy (reason/imagination); and stomach/democracy (the passions and the senses). As a reflection of the biological, the republic must also—as Polybius, Cicero, and Livy well understood—go through stages of birth, middle age (corruption and decay), and finally death. The process is the same for a human being as well as for a republic. Again, it must be remembered that just as no person can last forever, no republic can last forever. The trick, however, to prolonging its life is to promote that which gives it energy and vigor in its youth—virtue—and that which also staves off the inevitable tepidness that accompanies mid-life: audacity. […] Of the major founding fathers, only James Madison departed this world with hope for and in the future of the American republic. […] Though excellent and thoroughly captivating, Fears of a Setting Sun is far from perfect. First, Rasmussen . . .[…] I’ve gone on way too long about the book’s faults. Every book—of every kind, of every genre, from every publisher—has such faults. But, despite what I just wrote critically above, Fears of a Setting Sun is an excellent one. The research is impeccable, the writing is nearly flawless (too many split infinitives—and here I am being critical again. . .), and the stories moving and engaging. Indeed, almost everything I wrote critically above could be corrected with just one more revision and proofreading of the book. Let’s hope Princeton knows what a treasure it has with this book and allows Rasmussen to make the book, in the language of the founders, “more perfect.”

After Humanity: A Guide to C.S. Lewis’s “The Abolition of Man”
by Michael Ward (241 pages, Word on Fire Academic, 2021)

Olson: After Humanity: A Guide to C.S. Lewis’ “The Abolition of Man”
In Bible college, as a young Evangelical, I read Surprised by Joy, The Great Divorce, and The Abolition of Man. All three were challenging and engaging, but the latter was especially influential and thought-provoking, and has remained a favorite ever since. In hindsight, my attraction in 1990 to The Abolition of Man is somewhat surprising, as it is perhaps Lewis’s least accessible work, as Michael Ward discusses in his exceptional After Humanity: A Guide to C.S. Lewis’s The Abolition of Man, a guide to the 1943 book. Ostensibly a book about education, it is replete with obscure references to various figures and debates of early and mid-20th-century England. In addition, it is not overtly Christian even while being the most philosophically demanding of Lewis’s many writings. […] It could be said that Abolition is a sort of Mere Natural Law, a defense of the Tao over and against the rising flood of subjectivism that Lewis saw coming fast and with furious consequences. In fact, Lewis wrote of “vicious subjectivism”, . . .The intensity of Lewis’ disdain for emotivism and subjectivism bursts through in the final sentences of Abolition’s opening chapter (“Men Without Chests”): In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the gildings be fruitful.

[H/T DE) Colino: New cancer treatments may be on the horizon—thanks to mRNA vaccines
The COVID-19 pandemic brought mRNA vaccines into the limelight. But the technology may also prove to be a powerful weapon against hard-to-treat cancers. Molly Cassidy was studying for the Arizona bar exam in February 2019 when she felt an excruciating pain in her ear. The pain eventually radiated down through her jaw, leading her to discover a bump under her tongue. “I had several doctors tell me it was stress-related because I was studying for the bar and I had a 10-month-old son,” recalls Cassidy, who also has a Ph.D. in education. After continuing to seek medical care, she found out that she had an aggressive form of head and neck cancer that required intensive treatment. […] When doctors removed the tumor from her collarbone, they told her that she might be eligible to join a clinical trial at the University of Arizona Cancer Center that was testing an mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid) vaccine—similar technology to the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines—in combination with an immunotherapy drug to treat colorectal and head and neck cancers. Whereas the COVID-19 vaccines are preventative, mRNA vaccines for cancer are therapeutic, and Cassidy jumped at the opportunity to participate. “I was at the right place at the right time for this clinical trial,” she says. […] Over the course of 27 weeks, Cassidy received nine injections of a personalized mRNA vaccine along with intravenous infusions of an immunotherapy drug called Pembrolizumab. She saw her doctor, Julie E. Bauman, deputy director of the University of Arizona Cancer Center, on a weekly basis at first then every three weeks; she also had regular CT scans. After each injection, Cassidy would spike a fever and feel wiped out—with fatigue and body aches and pains—for 24 hours. “My immune system was really flaring up, which is what we wanted to happen so it could fight the cancer,” she explains. By the time the treatment concluded in October 2020, Cassidy’s CT scans were clean: There was no evidence of cancer in her body.

Revolver.news: South Africa — The First Country Built on “Critical Race Theory” — Officially Implodes
South Africa is disintegrating. After the jailing of Jacob Zuma, supporters of the former president took to the streets, ostensibly to protest but actually to simply plunder at will. The official death toll already runs into the dozens, but in a country as violent as South Africa (57 murders a day) the real toll will likely never be known for certain. Rioters have plundered shops and entire shopping malls. When they run out out of normal goods, they steal livestock. When it’s too heavy to carry by hand, they bring a forklift. The meltdown in South Africa isn’t a natural disaster or a random fluke. It’s a choice. South Africa was the first modern nation to be refounded on the anti-white principles of critical race theory, and now it is reaping the whirlwind of that choice. South Africa did everything that is being done in America right now. As a hyperdiverse multiethnic, multilingual society, South Africa has followed almost every prescription embraced by the globalist ruling class.

Davis: Taliban Demands War Booty, Women Aged 15-45, as Sex Slaves in Captured Afghanistan
Having captured key districts and border posts with Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the Taliban are now hunting for women in these areas. “All imams and mullahs in captured areas should provide the Taliban with a list of girls above 15 and widows under 45 to be married to Taliban fighters,” read a letter issued in the name of the Taliban’s Cultural Commission for Islamic preachers in the region. The Taliban has promised to marry these women to their fighters and take them to Pakistan’s Waziristan. There, these women will be converted to Islam and reintegrated.
Is anyone talking about the consent of the women involved? No. They are just getting a list of women who belong to the preferred age bracket – the reproductive age bracket, to be precise – and will take them as “wives,” or so they say.

The Prickly Pear’s TAKE ACTION focus this year is to help achieve a winning 2024 national and state November 5th election with the removal of the Biden/Obama leftist executive branch disaster, win one U.S. Senate seat, maintain and win strong majorities in all Arizona state offices on the ballot and to insure that unrestricted abortion is not constitutionally embedded in our laws and culture.

Please click the TAKE ACTION link to learn to do’s and don’ts for voting in 2024. Read Part 1 and Part 2 of The Prickly Pear essays entitled How NOT to Vote in the November 5, 2024 Election in Arizona to be well informed of the above issues and to vote in a way to ensure the most likely chance your vote will be counted and counted as you intend.
