Becker: Maricopa County defies latest subpoena request from Arizona state Senate seeking to expand 2020 ballot review
Maricopa County and Dominion Voting Systems are rebuffing the latest subpoenas from Arizona’s GOP-led Senate for election materials related to the so-called audit of 2020 election ballots. In a defiant letter sent Monday in response to the state Senate’s request, county Board of Supervisors Chairman Jack Sellers wrote: “If you haven’t figured out the election in Maricopa County was free, fair and accurate yet, I’m sure you never will. The reason you haven’t finished your ‘audit’ is because you hired people who have no experience and little understanding of how professional elections are run.”
“The Board has real work to do and little time to entertain this adventure in never-never land. Please finish whatever it is that you are doing and release whatever it is you are going to release,” he added. “There was no fraud, there wasn’t an injection of ballots from Asia nor was there a satellite that beamed votes into our election equipment.” The letter concluded with a pointed: . . . I & I Editorial Board: Just 36% Of Independents Think The Jan. 6 Commission Is A Genuine Fact-Finding Effort
Who does trust the Jan. 6 commission to do its job? Young urban liberals with a college degree who make well over the median income.The poll found that 63% of urbanites and 62% of those 25-44 years old say the commission is likely to carry out its main purpose, but only 34% of those from rural areas, and 39% of the 45-64 do. Among those making more than $750,000 a year, 64% say the commission is likely to make a genuine effort, but only 42% of those making less than $30,000. Fifty-nine percent of college graduates trust the commission, a number that falls to just 43% among high-school educated. Men are more likely than women to think the commission will make a genuine fact-finding effort (54% vs. 42%).

Finally, six months into a crime spree that would make any convicted felon jealous, Chip Roy took a small step towards impeachment. It began with a Twitter thread: . . . […] While Roy spoke of impeaching Mayorkas, it was Jesse Kelly who responded to the thread by saying that Biden too deserves to be impeached: . . . […] A hashtag is not a ringing endorsement or loud cry for impeachment. However, considering how cowed Republicans are (I assume it’s because of the way Democrats have spun January 6 as an “insurrection,” rather than the same type of scuffle in which Democrats routinely engage), this is a start. I would add that Kamala Harris, as border tzar, needs to be impeached too. The fact that she did nothing to stem the flow makes her equally culpable.

When Donald Trump won the Presidency in 2016, it was a rude awakening for Democrats. It was time for the Democrats to humbly look inward regarding the reasons they lost the working class and middle America. The Democrats urgently needed to embark on a course of rectification, lest they became politically irrelevant. How the Democrats react in reality? Like the jilted lover who cannot accept rejection, they refused to concede that the public had voted against them. They were unequivocal that the fault was not theirs or that of their policies. The voter was called a bigot. Finally, they launched their most audacious disinformation campaign of Trump-Russia Collusion. There was not an iota of evidence, but it was endorsed by almost every Democrat and rogue intelligence personnel, and it passed through the cacophonous echo chambers of the news media. […] How did Republicans react to all this?
Some of them merely do not react at all. Some appeared on Fox News to viciously condemn Biden and the Democrats with every epithet available in their lexicon. Some played to the galleries during Senate and congressional hearings to have “testy” exchanges as they question the adversary. Some gleefully crossed the aisle and concurred with the Democrats. But beyond the amateur theatrics, precious little was actually done to prevent or correct the many missteps of the Biden administration.

Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who tested positive Monday for COVID-19, attended a gathering on West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin’s houseboat over the weekend with a bipartisan group of Senators. Manchin said there was a small gathering outside and did not say how long the event was. He also said it was a group of bipartisan Senators and did not name any other names besides Graham, according to CNN. […] Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly was also reportedly at Manchin’s houseboat over the weekend when Graham was present. […] Also in attendance was Democratic Nevada Sen. Jacky Rosen, . . .[…] Democratic Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto was also on Manchin’s houseboat . . .[…] Democratic Delaware Sen. Chris Coons was also on the houseboat, . . . […] “Immediately after learning that Sen. Graham had tested positive, Sen. Based in the U.S., the Asia Society describes its mission as “preparing Asians and Americans for a shared future” and is favored by current and former high-level Chinese Communist Party officials. The group’s Center For Global Education outlines its mission as “transforming education to build a more just and equal society” and partners with schools and school districts throughout the U.S. to do so. The center is expected to reach 4,000,000 students and 100,000 educators through various partnerships including dictating curricula and establishing schools alongside the Department of Education in states such as Ohio and Colorado. Serving on the center’s board, however, are several Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks. The co-chair of the effort, Yu Lizhong, is the former president of two Chinese Communist Party-run universities and has held leadership roles at several state-run groups:

If the United States Senate votes this week on the bipartisan so-called “infrastructure” bill, it would be humanly impossible for any U.S. senator to read it before voting on it. The text of a draft of the bill, obtained exclusively by Breitbart News from U.S. Senate sources not authorized to leak it, shows the plan is 2,701 pages long. The text, which Breitbart News is publishing here so the public can see what Congress is doing in secret, shows the plan is far more sprawling and expansive than GOP senators, who backed advancing it without text even existing, led their constituents to believe.

Binder: Bipartisan ‘Infrastructure’ Bill Allows Feds to Bypass ‘Buy American’ Rules, Outsource U.S. Manufacturing
The bill requires, no later than 180 days after its enactment, the heads of federal agencies to ensure that “none of the funds made available for” each infrastructure project “may be obligated … unless all of the iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project are produced in the United States.” Directly beneath the Buy American rule, though, is a massive carveout that allows the heads of federal agencies to bypass the requirement if they consider the requirement “inconsistent with the public interest,” does not meet “satisfactory quality,” or if they believe buying American will increase costs for the projects. Starr: American Medical Association Gets Woke: Remove Biological Sex from Birth Certificates
The left-wing American Medical Association’s (AMA) Board of Trustees kept busy over the summer crafting a resolution in favor of removing the terms “male” and “female” from birth certificates, claiming evidence of an individual being born is the only information necessary. The board weighed in on the two forms of current birth documentation in the United States — the certificate of live birth used for data collection and the birth certificate — which currently contains the names of parents, the child or children, and their biological sex. The resolution said the live birth certificate should be where sex is noted for the sake of statistics, but that birth certificates should not include sex as it might hamper individuals who at some point decide to live as something other than their biological sex.
