NOTABLE QUOTES

George Panichas contributor to The Imaginative Conservative: Vulgarization, trivialization, mediocrity are idols we enshrine as we follow every road except the one to excellence. And this is the very same road , as the tough lessons of history teach us, that Russia after the 1917 revolution travelled, to its final peril and perdition. Communism, as Vaclav Havel, the Czech writer and political leader, has said, “was an attempt, on the basis of a few propositions masquerading as the only scientific truth, to organize all life according to a single model, and to subject it to central planning and control regardless of whether or not that was what life wanted.” We easily forget, then, that the bankruptcy of the Soviet system was from the very beginning rooted in the expulsion of all “things that are more excellent,” to recall Saint Paul’s words.

Jeff Minick contributor to Intellectual Takeout: Many people seem to be wondering what will become of the human soul in another world. I am wondering what has become of the human mind in this world. G.K. Chesterton wrote those words almost a century ago in his essay, “The Rout of Reason.” I find myself wondering the same thing on this August day.

Kyle Becker beckernews.com: “Love this. The ‘runaway’ Texas Democrats sue Texas Governor Greg Abbott for ‘damaging their reputations’ and causing them ‘anxiety, discomfort, and distress’ for threatening to arrest them upon their return,” a former NBC executive noted.

Joy Pullman contributor to The Federalist: COVID pressure has been seamlessly grafted into the cancel culture edifice, and most Republicans are simply allowing their own voters to be purged from employment and education based on their evidence-informed convictions. The last time this kind of situation came to a head, a man named Donald Trump ran an insurgent campaign that nearly broke the Republican Party. If Republicans can’t get their heads out of their rear ends after that kind of wake-up call and start protecting their voters from the obvious political weaponization of the permanent pandemic, they will finish their own party.

Sundance contributor to The last Refuge: There is no other hill to stand upon if medical freedom is taken away. What is ‘freedom‘ if government can force you to inject a substance in your body? What is ‘liberty‘ if the government can force you into an unwanted medical procedure in order to live in society. The issue here is not simply a forced injection. . . . Silence is the open door of consent!

Terri Jo Neff contributor to Arizona Daily Independent: “These hospital systems and top administrators and surgeons are well-connected with powerful politicians, and they will be able to browbeat lower level employees into submission,” the nurse said Sunday. “It this coercion is allowed you will see an exodus of healthcare professionals into small, private companies that respect our rights and our decisions.”

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY): “They can’t arrest all of us. They can’t keep all of your kids home from school. They can’t keep every government building closed – although I’ve got a long list of ones they might keep closed or might ought to keep closed. We don’t have to accept the mandates, lockdowns, and harmful policies of the petty tyrants and bureaucrats. We can simply say no, not again.”

Dr. Cole Mayo trained pathologist: “I am concerned about the lack of long term safety data, because this vaccine is simply too new. We have never tried an mRNA vaccine in humans before. I am concerned about the implications of injection of foreign, synthetic mRNA and the antibody reaction which cannot be reversed. It concerns me that large numbers of individuals are being essentially enrolled in a long term phase III clinical trial for the vaccine without being fully informed of this, with no ability for recompense if injured or in case of death. I am concerned by the number of adverse event and deaths that have been reported in correlation with this vaccine administration.”

Evan Bleier contributor to Inside Hook addresses Americans low Olympic viewership even though Team USA has won close to 100 medals: When asked why they weren’t watching, 28% cited general disinterest, 19% said they were busy with other obligations or activities and 14% pointed to either contempt for American athletes or the overall politicization of the competition.

PRESIDENT TRUMP

Sundance: President Trump Releases Statement on Insufferable Senate Spending Bill Falsely Disguised as Infrastructure
As customary, K Street wrote the legislation, that’s why the Senators had to vote cloture to continue debate before the bill was even written. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and a host of Wall Street multinationals actually wrote the bill and the UniParty politicians are now tasked with selling it. That’s the way the process is designed. President Trump notes the ridiculous nature of the $3.5 trillion spending package, which includes new regulatory mechanisms to track and tax vehicle mileage. Yes, you will be paying the government for each mile you drive your car. Republicans and Democrats want this; our opinion doesn’t matter. DONALD TRUMP – “Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill is a disgrace. If Mitch McConnell was smart, which we’ve seen no evidence of, he would use the debt ceiling card to negotiate a good infrastructure package. This is a 2,700 page bill that no one could have possibly read—they would have

BEHIND THE DEEP STATE

Roach: Nancy Pelosi’s Secret Police
We recently saw the first phase of the January 6 show trial. The congressional hearing, which the House Republican leadership has boycotted, always threatened to be a farce, prolonging and exaggerating a one-time event for partisan political gain. It lived down to expectations. The assembled U.S. Capitol Police jerked tears and repeated popular lies, including the now-disproven claim that officer Brian Sicknick was killed during the riots. One of the policemen exposed himself as highly ideological after his tweets praising Black Lives Matter violence surfaced soon after his testimony. All of the witnesses used highly charged language, referring to their fellow Americans as “terrorists” and the event as an attempted “coup.” In other words, the Capitol Police leadership supported the Democrats’ bleak view of the moment: that the country is beset by dangerous, violent, right-wing extremism, which in turn permits extreme measures to defend “Our Democracy.” With the frequent comparisons to 9/11, it is obvious that restoring the War on Terror’s domestic security apparatus is the goal. But this time, the “war” will be aimed at a much larger group of Americans, namely, those who supported President Trump and have doubts about the 2020 election. The most ominous development is the plan to deploy the Capitol Police in the nation’s interior, with the first field offices located in California and Florida. Is This Legal? This is a peculiar development. The United States has always rejected a national police force, . . .

Laila: DHS Warns of ‘Increasing’ Threat of Violence From ‘Trump Conspiracy’ – Admits There is No Evidence of Specific Plot
The Department of Homeland Security has once again released a bulletin warning of an ‘increasing but modest’ threat of violence related to an online ‘conspiracy theory’ that Trump will be reinstated. The DHS also conceded there is no specific evidence of a credible plot.

U.S. CONGRESS

Solomon: Senate votes to end debate on infrastructure bill, moving one step closer to approval
The Senate voted Sunday evening to end debate on a bipartisan infrastructure bill, putting the $1 trillion plan a step closer to approval. Democrats easily got the 60 votes they needed to advance the legislation, thanks to support from 18 Republicans. The final vote was 68-29. […] Former President Donald Trump has pressed Republicans hard to resist the bill, saying it is a back door opportunity to impose the left’s Green New Deal. [NOTE: While Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) has helped stall the bill in the Senate, 18 Senate Republicans voted with Democrats this weekend: Roy Blunt (R-MO), John Hoeven (R-ND), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Mike Crapo (R-ID), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Rob Portman (R-OH), Jim Risch (R-ID), Mitt Romney (R-UT), Thom Tillis (R-NC), Todd Young (R-IN), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), John Hoeven (R-ND), Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Susan Collins (R-ME), and Mike Rounds (R-SD).]

Ditch: Congress Continues Spending Spree With Irresponsible Infrastructure Deal
The Senate’s $1.1 trillion infrastructure bill is the latest boondoggle in an epic spending spree. . . . .this spree threatens to further needlessly bankrupt the entire country and drive the United States closer to socialism. While supporters of the infrastructure deal claim it will help the economy, details in the 2,702-page bill suggest otherwise. . . . this deal throws money in dozens of directions, including electric buses, environmental cleanup, weed control, and even a $10 million carve-out for bees. This deal checks boxes for interest groups and lobbyists. Many of the items have nothing whatsoever to do with enhancing economic growth. It’s also an exercise in expanding federal control to areas that are typically local responsibilities, including drinking water, or part of the private sector, including broadband internet and energy. Even transportation spending is a mess. […] This is not even the first dubious spending deal of the year. Democrats passed a deeply flawed $1.9 trillion package in March that hid opportunistic bailouts for left-leaning special interests. In short, that bill was less than 10% about fighting COVID-19, and more about spending on unnecessary bailouts. Amazingly, these two behemoth spending bills combined are smaller than what’s still to come: a $3.5 trillion monstrosity that could include amnesty for illegal immigrants, a massive expansion of the welfare state, job-killing tax hikes, the Green New Deal, and more. […] The 2021 spending spree could come to a total of $6.5 trillion. Such an incredible amount of money is hard to comprehend. To put it in perspective, $6.5 trillion: . . .

2020 ELECTION

Solomon, Payne & Mittlstadt: Georgia ballots rejected by machines were later altered by election workers to count
A day after the November election, as Donald Trump and other Republican candidates clung to evaporating leads in Georgia, vote counters in Atlanta were confronted by a paper ballot known only by its anonymizing number 5150-232-18. A Dominion Voting machine had rejected the ballot on election night because the voter had filled in boxes for both Trump and his Democratic opponent Joe Biden, an error known as an “overvote.” The machine determined neither candidate should get a tally, and the ballot was referred for human review. The image of the ballot, obtained by Just the News, shows the voter messily scribbled a large blob in the box to select Trump as president while also putting a thinner check mark next to Biden’s name. At 6:10 p.m. ET on Nov. 4, 24 hours after the ballot was first scanned and rejected by Machine 5150, a panel of humans decided the vote should be awarded to Biden, with the notation “mark removed for Donald J. Trump.” You can see that ballot here: . . . […] Welcome to the arcane process known as adjudication, where human judgment is substituted for machine scanning in cases where voters incorrectly filled out a paper ballot. Election officials and official observers have dealt with it for years, with everyday citizens mostly oblivious to the process.

Hoft: Seth Keshel Releases Analysis on Five Pennsylvania Counties with Enough Fraudulent Ballots to Flip the State to Trump
In July Steve Bannon invited Professor David K. Clements from New Mexico State University and former Army intelligence captain and former baseball analyst Seth Keshel on The War Room to discuss their latest analysis on the 2020 election. Seth Keshel dropped a BOMB on the War Room. According to Seth, President Trump won Pennsylvania by 6-8% in 2020. Over the weekend the two experts released a more detailed report on the Pennsylvania 2020 election. Here are their observations.

Kassam: Unearthed Paper Shows Biden-Linked Group Demanding ‘Robust’ Audits & Admitting Machines Are Hackable Even Without Internet Access.
Before pillow magnate Mike Lindell burst onto the political scene with his election audit mantra, the idea was popularized by a powerful left-wing think tank. A 2017 policy paper reveals the Center for American Progress stood foursquare behind the idea of “robust election audits,” The National Pulse can today reveal. The 21-page document entitled “9 Solutions to Secure America’s Elections” was written by Danielle Root and Liz Kennedy and published on August 16, 2017. At the time, the political left was attempting to convince Americans that Donald Trump was an illegitimate president, and that Russian election interference had swayed the 2016 election process. To this day, losing candidate Hillary Clinton insists the election was “stolen” from her. Fast forward four years, and the corporate media alongside Democrats scream in one voice that election audits are not necessary, and are in fact an “attack” on “democracy.”
But their 2017 sentiments beg to differ. The Machines. . . .[…] The Paper Ballots. . . .[…] The Software. . . .[…] The Audits. Point #3 of the Center for American Progress report speaks to election audits, a process now widely pilloried by the partisan-left media: . . .

FAUCI’S VIRUS: IT’S POLITICAL

NOTE: Information not being reported in the main stream media.

Sundance: This is Nuts, Moderna and Pfizer Intentionally Lost The Clinical Trial Control Group Testing Vaccine Efficacy and Safety
This is not just scientific madness, it appears to be very intentional and purposeful. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccine tests were conducted, as customary, with a control group; a group within the trial who were given a placebo and not the test vaccine. However, during the trial -and after the untested vaccines were given emergency use authorization- the vaccine companies conducting the trial decided to break protocol and notify the control group they were not vaccinated. Almost all the control group were then given the vaccine. Purposefully dissolving the placebo group violates the scientific purpose to test whether the vaccine has any efficacy; any actual benefit and/or safety issues. Without a control group there is nothing to compare the vaccinated group against. According to NPR, the doctors lost the control group in the Johnson County Clinicial Trial (Lexena, Kansas) on purpose: . . . […] That NPR article is one to bookmark when people start claiming the vaccination is effective. How can the vaccine not be considered effective when there is no group of non-vaccinated people to compare the results to? Good grief, the entire healthcare system is operating on a massive hive mindset where science, and the scientific method, is thrown out the window in favor of ideological outcomes and self-fulfilling prophecies.

Malone & Navarro: BIDEN TEAM’S MISGUIDED AND DEADLY COVID-19 VACCINE STRATEGY: WASHINGTON TIMES ARTICLE
The essence of this arms race is this: The more people you vaccinate, the greater the number of vaccine-resistant mutations you are likely to get, the less durable the vaccines will become, ever more powerful vaccines will have to be developed, and individuals will be exposed to more and more risk.
Science tells us here that today’s vaccines, which use novel gene therapy technologies, generate powerful antigens that direct the immune system to attack specific components of the virus. Thus, when the virus infects a person with a “leaky” vaccination, the viral progeny will be selected to escape or resist the effects of the vaccine. (2) The fact that data shows the vaccine provides . . .

Key: NIH Director Collins: Without Masks in Schools ‘Kids Will Have to Go Back to Remote Learning’
I would ask that they would think about masks in the way they ought to be thought about. This is not a political statement or invasion of your liberties. This is a life-saving medical device. Asking kids to wear a mask is uncomfortable, but kids are pretty resilient. We know kids under 12 are likely to get infected. If we don’t have masks in schools, this virus will spread more widely. It will probably result in outbreaks in schools, and kids will have to go back to remote learning, which is the one thing we want to prevent. This virtual learning that kids had to go through is really bad for their development.

Greenfield: School Masking May Help Break Up Public School Monopolies
School choice activists seized on pandemic public school closures to get elected officials to open up systems with school vouchers. School mask mandates are proving to be another way of opening up the public school cartel. The Florida Department of Education has approved an emergency measure allowing parents to transfer their children out of schools that impose mask mandates using private school vouchers. Parents will now be allowed to access vouchers for private schools if they feel COVID protocols “pose a health or educational danger to their child.” The rule was approved during an emergency meeting on Friday.

Daily Wire News: Rand Paul Implores Americans To ‘Choose Freedom’ Over Potential Lockdowns: ‘Time For Us To Resist’
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) urged Americans to resist potential forthcoming lockdown measures, saying that the country could not go back to the state that it was in last year.[…] “Nancy Pelosi — you will not arrest or stop me or anyone on my staff from doing our jobs. BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING FOREIGN POLICY

Robichaux: Abandoning Allies Is Current American Policy
Since the Biden Aadministration won’t rescue and resettle our Afghan allies, some of us are taking matters into our own hands. After 20 years in Afghanistan, U.S. forces are finally withdrawing. I know we have been there too long when both my son and I spent time as Marines fighting in the same war. I don’t believe any veteran would contest that we should leave. The question, rather, is whether we are leaving from a position of sound military strategy and in a moral way—as a nation that will honor our Afghan allies who fought shoulder to shoulder with us for two decades. As a Force Recon Marine, I was privileged to be part of a Joint Special Operations Command Task Force (JSOC) serving alongside the most remarkable special operations warriors in more than 100 operations over eight deployments. I worked with many excellent men whose courage and bravery cannot even begin to be captured in words. Among those men, some of the most heroic were our Afghan teammates, who served as interpreters, cultural advisors, and fellow warfighters pursuing a free Afghanistan. They believed in America’s mission to eradicate jihadists that threatened the lives of Afghans and Americans.

Lieberman: Does the Infrastructure Bill Spell Doom for Residential Natural Gas?
Like all massive bills, the Senate’s 2,700 page, trillion dollar-plus monstrosity of an infrastructure package is filled with several regrettable big ticket items, including ones that will cost us dearly in the name of fighting climate change. Even worse, buried deep in the bill are a great many relatively smaller provisions that are bad enough in their own right. This includes measures allowing more federal control over state and local building codes that can further the Biden Administration goal of “appliance electrification” by discouraging the use of natural gas in homes and businesses. […] At the same time, a coerced shift away from natural gas would place even greater dependence on an electricity system already under climate policy-induced strain thanks to retirements of reliable, coal-fired generation and replacement with much-less-reliable wind and solar. If the infrastructure bill passes, the federal government will be able to influence state and local building codes so as to disfavor natural gas.

Revolver.news: These Key Similarities Between Lenin’s Red Terror and America’s Woke Culture Reveal Left’s Blueprint For Complete Takeover
Thursday marked the 151st birthday of the most successful revolutionary of all time, Vladimir Lenin. With only a tiny cabal of diehard followers, Lenin seized control of the world’s largest country and inaugurated a reign of darkness and terror that lasted seventy years. There are many lessons to draw from the blood-soaked life of Lenin. But one of the most important is this takeaway for the terrifying “woke” moment America is living through right now. Things are not going to naturally get better. Things will not organically “calm down.” Until there is a fundamental reset of America’s treasonous leadership class, today’s unthinkable witch hunt is merely a prelude of an even darker globalist terror to come. The Bolsheviks were indisputably more murderous than today’s left (if only because they lived in a more violent age), but even they had to ramp up how much terror they engaged in. […] As the Terror spread, the torments grew more creative: . . . […] The press played in integral role in radicalizing the masses and justifying the Terror. “Only rivers of blood can atone for the blood of Lenin,” cried one paper. Pravda announced that “the time has come for us to crush the bourgeoisie or be crushed by it.” It sounds ghoulish to us, but then again, our own papers run headlines like this: . . .

Revolutionary Monsters: Five Men Who Turned Liberation into Tyranny (Lenin, Mao, Castro, Mugabe, Khomeini) by Arizona State University professor Donald T. Critchlow
Much has been written about the anatomy of revolution from Edmund Burke to Crane Brinton Crane, Franz Fanon, and contemporary theorists of revolution found in the modern academy. Yet what is missing is a dissection of the revolutionary minds that destroyed the old for the creation of a more harmful new. […] Revolutionary Monsters presents a collective biography of five modern day revolutionaries who came into power calling for the liberation of the people only to end up killing millions of people in the name of revolution: Lenin (Russia), Mao (China), Castro (Cuba), Mugabe (Zimbabwe), and Khomeini (Iran). Revolutionary Monsters explores basic questions about the revolutionary personality, and examines how these revolutionaries came to envision themselves as prophets of a new age.
