NOTABLE QUOTES

President Trump, on 11/8/21,  delivered a speech to the NRCC attendees: “To save our country, the Republican Party must be the party that fights fiercely for the ECONOMIC interests of American Workers—the party that speaks boldly for the SOCIAL interests of American Families—and the party that stands proudly for the CULTURAL values of God-fearing American Patriots.” “Our movement did not start the culture war—but we are going to WIN it.”

Vince Coyner contributor to American Thinker: Mostly, America’s stormtroopers aren’t wearing black and carrying guns; instead, they’re dressed in the bland clothing of the bureaucrat.

Matthew Continetti contributor to The Washington Free Beacon describes Biden’s radical choice for comptroller of the currency, Saule Amarova:  Consider her 2020 paper, “The People’s Ledger: How to Democratize Money and Finance the Economy.” It offers, she says, “a blueprint for a comprehensive restructuring of the central bank balance sheet as the basis for redesigning the core architecture of modern finance.” She would like to subject the Federal Reserve, which these days has enough trouble keeping inflation in check, to a “series of structural reforms that would radically redefine the role of a central bank as the ultimate public platform for generating, modulating, and allocating financial resources in a democratic economy—the People’s Ledger.”

Julie Kelly contributor to American Greatness: Portraying January 6 as “unprecedented” is not an accident; it justifies extra-constitutional, judicial, and legislative action under the guise that nothing like this has ever happened before and that language will rationalize future measures to make sure it never happens again. Nothing is off the table as the Biden regime, Beltway judges, and the media seek to avenge an “unprecedented” protest in a government building where the only people killed were Trump supporters, including at least one by a federal police officer.

Aaron Siri Substack blogger: You would assume that if the CDC was going to crush the civil and individual rights of those with natural immunity by having them expelled from school, fired from their jobs, separated from the military, and worse, the CDC would have proof of at least one instance of an unvaccinated, naturally immune individual transmitting the COVID-19 virus to another individual.  If you thought this, you would be wrong.

Jeff M. Lewis contributor to American Thinker: The “First do no harm” ethic has hardly been part of the government’s calculus in response to the disease. Instead, at every turn, the situation is exploited for political benefit. Pre-vaccine, the leviathan that is the American medical establishment restricted the availability and use of effective anti-viral medicines, resulting in needless death. Now, they restrict the supply, prescription, and use of these same inexpensive, safe, and effective medicines that prevent and treat COVID and its current and future variants. Instead, we are mandated only one option—their uncompromising and unshakeable reliance upon the vaccines. Mischief, anyone?

Chrissy Clark contributor to Daily Caller describes the most effective avenues of communication to reach Gen Z  generation (born between 1997 and 2008): “Conservatives often claim they want a ‘culture war’ or claim that they want to inspire the next generation of kids, but doing that on Facebook is a waste of time because Gen Z doesn’t spend their time on Facebook. Young people are using TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat.”

Nick Arama writing for RedState:  This is not the Biden Administration, it’s the Bystander Administration, where Joe is just commenting while things happen around him. Don’t look at him doing everything to attack our energy position while begging other countries on bended knee to pump more oil. That’s apparently okay if they pump more oil, even as he attacks our fossil fuel production. It isn’t his responsibility and he has no immediate solutions to the problems of the rising gas prices as both the White House explained. Indeed, his Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm laughed when asked about the rising prices.

Wendy Rittenhouse mother of Kyle Rittenhouse slammed President Biden who called her son a white supremacist: “When I saw that, I was in shock. I was angry. President Biden doesn’t know my son. He’s not a white supremacist, is not a racist. And he did that for the votes. And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son. He defamed him.”

DEEP STATE

Mill: Sex, Lies, and the FBI
History’s dark sense of humor has now linked the fate of American Muslims, environmental activists, and MAGA protestors who allege the FBI is abusing them to gin up prosecutions. At the heart of the Supreme Court case Federal Bureau of Investigation v. Fazaga is the FBI’s effort to maintain a shroud of secrecy over questionable investigative techniques it uses to develop criminal cases. The FBI laughably claims national security would be put in jeopardy if a court forces the bureau to reveal its motives for targeting otherwise innocent Americans to entice criminal behavior.  The truth—and everyone knows it—is that the FBI wants to avoid public outrage over its dirty tricks. Fazaga reminds us that FBI abuses follow the winds of politics. […]  As the New York Times reportsJustice Gorsuch said Monday’s case . . .

Griffith: ‘The FBI is tipping off the NYT about its raids’: Lawyer for Project Veritas boss James O’Keefe suggests feds are breaking the law by handing privileged legal communications to Times journalists for ‘hit piece’
An attorney for the founder of Project Veritas has accused the Department of Justice of tipping off the New York Times about recent raids on current and former employees, while suggesting federal prosecutors may have also leaked the group’s legal communications. Project Veritas, the conservative activist group founded by James O’Keefe, has come under federal scrutiny in relation to the alleged theft of the diary of President Joe Biden‘s daughter Ashley, which the group considered publishing but never did. The FBI conducted raids at O’Keefe’s New York home and those of others connected to Project Veritas early Saturday morning, seizing two of O’Keefe’s cell phones, among other items. Days later, on Thursday, the New York Times published a report based on memos from the group’s lawyer, revealing his legal advice on the group’s use of false identities and undercover filming, tactics that are eschewed by most modern journalists. Later that day, a federal judge ordered the DOJ to stop extracting data from the phones, granting a request from O’Keefe’s legal team made the day before for an independent party to be appointed to oversee the review of the confiscated devices.

ADMINISTRATIVE STATE

Coyner: We Think We’re Free. Newsflash: We’re Not
Unconstitutional vax mandates have given Americans a glimpse into the control the government has—or thinks it has over our lives. But few have any idea how much the government is involved with their everyday lives. Most of us get up, go to work, and come home without the government ostensibly telling us when to do this or what we must feed our kids or when we must go to bed. We think we’re free, but we’re not. Just because stormtroopers aren’t standing in every doorway of your house doesn’t mean the government’s not there. It is in a million different ways, invisible by design, and often the stormtroopers are implied. Not sure? Let’s take a journey of a day in the life of a typical American. You wake up at 5:00. You’re literally lying on the embodiment of one of the most famous government rules—your mattress. The government footprint is found on the tag that famously says: “This tag may not be removed under penalty of law except by the consumer.” You have a headache and go to the medicine cabinet. There you’ll find the fruit of one of the most regulated industries in the economy, medicines. Have you ever wondered why, when you pick up a prescription, you get a mini-newspaper of information? Have you ever wondered why it takes boxes the size of sandwiches to hold medicines the size of thimbles? It’s because of the information manufacturers must print on the boxes or on the tiny books inside the boxes telling you about every single thing that might ever happen as it relates to that medicine, no matter how rare or unlikely. Of course, to get an encyclopedia’s worth of information there they print so small that people can’t read it, even if they wanted to. And to that, they add more online. This is driven primarily by government regulation and secondarily by manufacturers seeking to insulate themselves from lawsuits.
Now you head down to the kitchen to grab some breakfast. You open the refrigerator, . . .

JOHN DURHAM INVESTIGATION

Malloch: Thank You, ‘Bull’ Durham
Recall the famous 1988 blockbuster movie based on the minor league baseball experience of the North Carolina Durham Bulls.  Nominated for an Oscar, Sports Illustrated ranked it the “greatest sports film of all time.” Now we have “Bull” John Durham, the tireless, relentless prosecutor who—like the protagonist in the movie played by Kevin Costner—just won’t give up. He is that dogged. And he will get the girl—or the crooks, as in this case. […]  Special prosecutor Durham is indicting a slew of bad actors who committed unthinkable crimes and conspiracy. It took him a while, but he has built a substantial, rock-solid, and evidence-based case. Read those detailed indictments here on Kevin Clinesmith, Michael Sussman and Igor Danchenko. Charles Dolan, the long-time Clinton PR hack, called “PR Executive 1” in the other indictments, is likely the next with his neck on the chopping block. Truthfully, many more indictments are on the way as Durham unravels the greatest political scandal in recent history. […]  Revenge must come as an act of vindication and a strong statement that the real conspiracy against America, and against its government and values, was formulated and executed by the deep state and directed by Hillary Clinton herself. It is time to bring them all to justice, now. […]  Well, you ask whom does this include? Let’s name names and start at the very top.

Miller: With All Eyes on Hillary in Russian Collusion Hoax, What About Obama?
During the Senate Watergate hearings that eventually brought down the presidency of Richard Nixon, Republican Sen. Howard Baker (Tenn.) asked a question that would live in infamy: “What did the president know, and when did he know it?” Now, nearly 50 years later, the question again begs to be asked.
This time, about a different president: What did Barack Obama know, and when did he know it? As RedState reported late last week, Special Counsel for the Justice Department John Durham’s indictment of Igor Danchenko, the principal source for the bogus Steele dossier used by the FBI as a basis for the Trump-Russia “collusion” investigation, further illustrates that Durham has his sights set on the 2016 presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton. Hardly a shock, although the irony is beautiful: In an attempt to frame Donald Trump for colluding with Russia, Hillary, in effect, colluded with Russia.
But what about Obama?

THE FIGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY

Adams: It’s Time to Start Taking Names
We are all familiar with the big stories of cancel culture. Something more insidious is emerging, where ideas and people are canceled on the margins. Twitter is placing obstacles in front of the spread of conservative ideas.
Want to post an idea about election vulnerabilities on Twitter? Be careful or be suspended. I learned this most recently after the organization I run sued the top election official in Fairfax County, Va., just before the election on behalf of a local nonprofit. The official ignored Virginia law and accepted absentee ballot applications without the statutorily required last four digits of the voter’s social security number.  This step is designed to prevent mistakes at the election office and the disenfranchisement of voters. Once a ballot goes to the wrong person by mistake, the original registrant will not be allowed to vote. Postings about this lawsuit were flagged as controversial or questionable by Twitter. Here’s the problem: . . . […]  I have written scores of articles about election fraud and vulnerabilities over the last decade here at PJ Media. Sometimes I even include the exact headline in a search to find an article. Yet in Google search results, these articles are vanished, like Stalin’s airbrushed companion. Our modern Ministry of Truth has decided to bury them beyond reach.

2022 ELECTION

Foldi: Organizer of 2010 Gaza Flotilla Launches Congressional Campaign
An anti-Israel activist who helped organize the 2010 flotilla of ships to the Gaza Strip and was the lawyer for a Palestinian terrorist who killed two Jewish college students is running for Congress as a Democrat in Michigan. Huwaida Arraf, who this week launched her campaign based on her record of “fighting injustice” on the world stage, is an activist lawyer who cofounded the International Solidarity Movement, which encourages anti-Israel activists to take “direct action” to force confrontations with Israeli forces. Arraf has used her status as an American citizen to protect Palestinian terrorists, including during the infamous 2010 flotilla to Gaza that was blocked by the Israeli military. The flotilla, which was paid for by a group with ties to terrorist organizations, was loaded up with weapons and military equipment for Hamas. Arraf was also on the legal team for Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh, who planned a 1969 Jerusalem terrorist attack that killed two and injured several others. Odeh was released in a 1980 prisoner exchange and later moved to the United States, where she was granted citizenship after she lied on immigration forms. Documents show that Arraf joined Odeh’s U.S. legal team in July 2016, as Odeh fought to maintain citizenship. Odeh was deported in 2017 by the Trump administration.

FAUCI’S VIRUS: IT’S POLITICAL

Hinderaker: LIBERAL GOVERNOR TRIED TO PUMP COVID NUMBERS TO JUSTIFY SHUTDOWN
A whistleblower has leaked an email exchange dating to October 2020, in which the Chief of Staff to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz tells the state’s Department of Health that the Department’s numbers on how covid was spreading were “less useful than what I expected” because “these numbers are small.” The Commissioner of Health said, in turn, that “people look at the primary case numbers and think those are small impacts that don’t justify the dial backs we propose.” She urges her staff to engage in “creative thinking.” […]  As I understand it, what is happening here is that the governor wanted to order restrictions on “social gatherings, weddings, funerals,” but the Department of Health’s data on origin of covid infections showed such a small number coming from those events that people wouldn’t buy the governor’s proposed shutdown. So the Department of Health was encouraged to calculate second and third generation infections on into the future–“generations of transmission”–to make the numbers look bigger.

BIDEN’S UNCONSTITUTIONAL VACCINE MANDATES

Siri: CDC Admits Crushing Rights of Naturally Immune Without Proof They Transmit the Virus
After formal demand, the CDC concedes it does not have proof of a single instance of a naturally immune individual spreading the virus. […]  My firm, on behalf of ICAN, asked the CDC for precisely this proof (see below).  ICAN wanted to see proof of any instance in which someone who previously had COVID-19 became reinfected with and transmitted the virus to someone else.  The CDC’s incredible response is that it does not have a single document reflecting that this has ever occurred.  Not one.  (See below.) In contrast, there are endless documents reflecting cases of vaccinated individuals becoming infected with and transmitting the virus to others.  Such as this study.  And this study.  And this study.  And this study.  It goes on and on… But it gets worse. The CDC’s excuse for not having a shred of evidence of the naturally immune transmitting the virus is that . . .[NOTE: Siri is an attorney.}

DEMOCRAT LED WAR ON PARENTS

Griffith: Arizona school board president kept secret dossier on parents opposed to CRT and mask mandates that was discovered after he accidentally sent a link to a mom: Private investigator ran background checks and filmed parents
A school board president in Arizona has been accused of maintaining a secret online dossier containing personal details about parents who opposed mask mandates and Critical Race Theory. Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board President Jann-Michael Greenburg’s access to the Google Drive file was revealed after he accidentally displayed the link in a screenshot he sent to a parent in a heated email chain. The drive contained files labeled ‘SUSD Wackos’ and ‘Anti Mask Lunatics’ among others in a sprawling database tracking the online activities of parents in the district. […]  It contains a disorganized collection of hundreds of screenshots of Facebook posts and conversations in Facebook groups dedicated to the Scottsdale school system, with the apparent theme of tracking the political sentiments of various parents. Some of the files include memes mocking certain parents, PTA leaders and local elected officials. Disturbingly, the drive also contains a background report that appears to have been generated by a private investigator, which includes personal details such as financial and criminal records of parents.

Citizen Free Press: Huge Win in Loudoun County…
The Loudoun County School Board meeting erupted into shouting last night after parents confronted members of the school board after the group Fight for Schools announced they had filed more than 2,000 signatures to begin the process of removing the school board chair.
“By the way, Denise, Brenda, Ian, Atoosa, we are well over 100% of required signatures for the petitions,” Megan Jenkins said during the public comment period. “So I’m not going to encourage any of you to resign because when you are recalled and removed from office, it will be much more satisfying. See you in court.” In order to remove an elected official in Virginia, petitioners must acquire a number of signatures equal to 10% of the votes cast in the previous election for that office.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING FOREIGN POLICY

Pleasance: East and West go toe-to-toe: Russian paratroopers are deployed to Belarus close to Poland border as ‘Britain sends soldiers to strengthen Polish defences’ after White House warned Putin could invade Ukraine ‘imminently’
Russia is carrying out snap military drills in Belarus just a few miles from the Polish border today, as fears grow that Vladimir Putin is preparing for an invasion in eastern Europe. Russia’s defence ministry said the unannounced drill involved paratroopers from both countries dropping at the Gozhsky range, just 20 miles from where thousands of migrants are gathered at the Polish border, where they practiced capturing bridges as well as hunting down and destroying enemy patrols. Belarus said the drill was in response to the ‘build-up of military activity’ at the Polish border, where 15,000 troops have been stationed to hold back the migrants, while Russia said it was to test the ‘combat readiness’ of its troops. At the same time, Polish defence minister Mariusz Błaszczak revealed that British Royal Engineers have been deployed to help strengthen the border defences amid warnings from all sides that the crisis risks spilling over into an armed conflict.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING AMERICA

(H/T DG) Greenwald: Democrats Are Profoundly Committed to Criminal Justice Reform — For Everyone But Their Enemies
Principles of rehabilitative justice, reform of the carceral state, and liberalized criminal justice evaporate when Democrats demand harsh prison for their political adversaries. The 2020 protest movement that erupted after the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis and the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha became one of the most sustained and consequential in modern U.S. history. Though there seems to be a somewhat bizarre effort underway by its advocates to insist that this movement accomplished nothing — why are some claiming that radical cultural and political changes are happening? — it is demonstrably true that, as intended, that the movement transformed discourse and policy around multiple issues from race, to policing, to gender identity, to the teaching of history, and fostered an ongoing effort for still-greater changes.

Richter: Americans Blow Off Fed Propaganda Inflation is “Temporary”
Americans, as they struggle with the meaning of the Fed’s terms “transitory” and “temporary,” expect that inflation one year from now will rise to 5.7%, the 12th month in a row of relentless increases, the highest in the data going back to 2013, creating a beautiful record spike (red line), according to the New York Fed’s Survey of Consumer Expectations released today. And consumers expect inflation in three years to be at 4.2% (green line). The Fed keeps saying in its FOMC statements that it wants “longer‑term inflation expectations” to remain “well-anchored” at 2%. And they’re now totally unanchored and spiking to high heaven.

Johnson: BUMMER BEYOND BELIEF

Bummer Beyond Belief is my take on the centerpiece of the Biden’s plan to reduce the United States to ruin. His plan to erase our borders has already been implemented to stunning effect. The Bummer Beyond Belief bill complements it perfectly. Bummer Beyond Belief also works as a description of the complete Biden package, so to speak. […]  President Biden now peddles his Bummer Beyond Belief bill as an antidote to the inflation his administration has denied and downplayed and set off. Biden has taken up this line: “Seventeen Nobel prizewinners in economics have said that my plan will ease inflationary pressures.” This is Biden’s version of the statement in the letter dated September 15 that is posted here and here (with two additional signatories). The letter opines: “Because this [BBB] agenda invests in long-term economic capacity and will enhance the ability of more Americans to participate productively in the economy, it will ease longer-term inflationary pressures.” I seriously doubt it, but note that the statement doesn’t quite say what Biden says it says.  […]  On February 4, as Biden’s $2 trillion stimulus bill was making its way through Congress, former Obama Treasury Secretary Larry Summers took to the Washington Post with a warning: . . .
