NOTABLE QUOTES

Darren Beattie’s  Revolver.News: Now, we see that wokeness is intertwined at a similarly essential level into how the United States projects power overseas and consolidates power domestically. This suggests that the task of defeating and replacing wokeness entails far more than simply changing the minds of various elements of the ruling class that embrace woke ideology. To fully, properly and sustainably uproot wokeness requires nothing less than a fundamental overhaul of major ecologies, networks, and incentive structures that undergird the current functioning of the Regime. It is a difficult task, but it is a necessary one if we ever hope to restore our nation to its former greatness—a restoration that can only occur on the basis of a full and sober understanding of the magnitude and nature of the problem.

Don Feder contributor to Frontpage Magazine: That it has been infected with the pandemic of our age (“racial equity” – more properly racial Marxism) is depressing. In the past I’ve always supported the Army. During the holidays, I considered it a sin to pass a Red Kettle without throwing in a few bucks. If things have changed, it’s not my fault. Internal forces have taken the Christian desire to repent and perverted it into an embrace of racism in the name of fighting racism, — seen in Critical Race Theory – which has become the greatest threat to our unity and survival as a nation.

Louisiana Western District U.S. Judge Terry Doughty’s vaccine mandate nationwide decision: “During a pandemic such as this one, it is even more important to safeguard the separation of powers set forth in our Constitution to avoid erosion of our liberties. Because the Plaintiff States have satisfied all four elements required for a preliminary injunction to issue, this Court has determined that a preliminary injunction should issue against the Government Defendants. This matter will ultimately be decided by a higher court than this one. However, it is important to preserve the status quo in this case. The liberty interests of the unvaccinated requires nothing less.”

Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) wingman, unhinged: I’m losing my Covid patience. I’ve tried to reason with the unvaxxed. I’ve directed some to medical pros. I don’t judge but hear them out and steer them to facts. The unvaxxed love to say it’s about choice. But you know who doesn’t have a choice? My 3 kids under 5. Blah blah blah you have a right to not get vaxxed. Fine. Then business and government have a right to tell you that you’re not welcome to patronize or you can’t get on a plane. Because what right do you think you have to expose my kids to your Covid? As parents, let’s own the outrage. The looney carnival barkers at the school board meetings DO NOT reflect where most parents are. Your unvaxxed status is creating new variants. So get your damn shot. Or, stay inside your house. But don’t mess with my kids.

Julian Conradson contributor to Gateway Pundit: Despite being fully vaccinated against the virus, woke China sellout LeBron James tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday

Steve Rossiter  contributor to Canada Free Press:  Obama and his minions had to sow hate and fear in every direction possible because fear is the most effective weapon that can be used to steal individual liberty.

J.B. Shurk contributor to American Thinker: Watching the government lay down fresh mandates and executive orders demanding that citizens submit to its will or suffer the consequences should be seen not as a sign of unstoppable power, but rather as evidence that its grip on power is spinning out of control.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn Russian author and historian who was sentenced to a 8 years in a labor camp for criticizing  Stalin in private correspondence: “Even if all is covered by lies, even if all is under their rule, let us resist in the smallest way: Let their rule hold not through me! ”

Victor Davis Hanson contributor to American Greatness: Our elites, like the Third World rich, have mastered ignoring—and navigating around—the misery of others in their midst.

Sundance  contributor to The Conservative Treehouse: With that level of supply side economic chaos seemingly unavoidable, the only way for Biden to try and mitigate political damage is an attempt to halt the demand side. That’s why the administration needs Omicron to change our behavior. COVID-19 is a sword to destroy & fundamentally change the U.S. and global economy.  COVID-19 is also a shield to protect the politicians as they destroy and fundamentally change the U.S. and global economy. COVID-19 is a tool for Build Back Better.

U.S. SUPREME COURT

Hains: Clarence Thomas: “What Specifically Is The Right” To Abortion In The Constitution? Where Is It Written?
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas asked U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar during arguments Wednesday on a new Mississippi abortion restriction where in the Constitution does she find the right to abortion. “If we were talking about the Second Amendment, I know what we’re talking about. Because it’s written, it’s there. What specifically is the right here [to abortion] that we’re talking about?” he asked.

Duggan: ‘Follow The Science’: Pro-lifers Slam Justice Sotomayor After She Compared Unborn Babies To Braindead People
“Modern research is revealing that unborn babies do feel pain at an early stage, and we see that science in action regularly during fetal surgery, in which doctors apply analgesia in utero to prevent the suffering of the unborn child,” Dr. David Prentice, Charlotte Lozier Institute vice president of research and an expert on stem cell research, said in a Dec. 1 press release. “Respectfully, we suggest that Justice Sotomayor follow the science, which has not stood still since Roe was decided in 1973,” Prentice stated. […]  “Justice Sotomayor’s calloused disregard for the preborn is matched with stunning disinformation as she denies the fact that babies in their mothers womb can feel pain,” Live Action president Lila Rose told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “These preborn children can feel pain, and at 15 weeks, do feel immense pain as they are dismembered alive, in a D & E abortion, in which an abortionist uses forceps with metal teeth to tears them into pieces, limb from torso, and crush their heads.” […]  In response to Stewart’s assertion that babies recoil from surgical instruments at as young as 15 weeks, Sotomayor argued that braindead people, who are considered officially dead in most states, can still sometimes respond to stimuli such as being touched on the feet.

Bond: Justice Amy Coney Barrett Brings Up Adoption, Safe Haven Laws During Mississippi Abortion Case Arguments
“I have a question about the safe haven laws,” Coney Barrett said to Julie Rikelman, the senior director of the Center for Reproductive Rights. “So Petitioner points out that in all 50 states, you can terminate parental rights by relinquishing a child … and I think the shortest period might have been 48 hours if I’m remembering the data correctly.” “So it seems to me, seen in that light, both Roe and Casey emphasize the burdens of parenting, and insofar as you and many of your amici focus on the ways in which forced parenting, forced motherhood, would hinder women’s access to the workplace and to equal opportunities, it’s also focused on the consequences of parenting and the obligations of motherhood that flow from pregnancy.” “Why don’t the safe haven laws take care of that problem? It seems to me that it focuses the burden much more narrowly.”

Cleveland: The Supreme Court’s Originalist Justices Should Allow Bad Abortion Law To Die By Its Own Hand
. . . the vast majority of the nearly two hours of argument considered not the fundamental question of whether there is a constitutional right to abortion; instead, the justices dueled over stare decisis and Casey’s reliance on that prudential principle to affirm Roe. The court’s focus during argument on stare decisis and Casey may cause concern that the justices will again refuse to right the wrong that began in 1973 with Roe v. Wade. It shouldn’t, though, because the originalist justices on the court can allow Casey to hoist itself upon its own petard. The way forward here is clear, but likely unseen by the majority of Americans who wrongly believe Roe v. Wade remains the law of the land. Stare Decisis Underpins the Casey Decision While the Supreme Court first gleaned a right to abortion in Roe v. Wade from the amorphous penumbras emanating from the Constitution, less than 20 years later Roe’s approach to abortion was abandoned. A plurality of the court in Casey, consisting of Justices David Souter, Sandra Day O’Connor, and Anthony Kennedy, ignored the reasoning of Roe and instead concluded abortion garnered constitutional protection based on the justices’ “reasoned judgment” of the meaning of “liberty.”

Green: These Preemies Prove The Supreme Court’s ‘Viability’ Standard For Abortion Is Wrong
Curtis Means is a living and active one-year-old boy. That’s because his mom wanted him. If she didn’t, she could have paid an abortion provider to kill him on the very day his family now celebrates as his birth day. To abort Curtis was his mom’s “constitutional right,” the Supreme Court has proclaimed in its past decisions. But the court will now reevaluate this disturbing conclusion, hearing arguments today about a state’s ability to protect children in the womb from death by abortion. Right now, Supreme Court decisions say mothers may obtain an abortion for mere convenience “before viability” — that is, before their unborn child is sufficiently developed to have a “realistic possibility” of surviving outside the womb. But this arbitrary test leads to troubling results, such as killing babies like Curtis. Let me explain. […]  Abortionists say there is a right to stop that heart and spill that blood. Mississippi believes those innocent children deserve protection. That is the issue before the Supreme Court.

GOP

(What could possibly go wrong?)  Exclusive — ‘Tool to Enforce Orwellian Rules’: 80 House Republicans Help Pass Bill to Fund Federal Vaccination Database
Eighty House Republicans voted with Democrats on Tuesday to pass the Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act, which if passed by the Senate and signed into law would fund a federal vaccination database. According to the bill, also called  H. R. 550, the government would provide $400 million in taxpayer dollars to fund “immunization system data modernization and expansion,” a system otherwise defined as “a confidential, population-based, computerized database that records immunization doses administered by any health care provider to persons within the geographic area covered by that database.” The text specifically outlines an expansion of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Public Health Department capabilities and the ability for state and local health departments, as well as public and private health care providers, to share health data with the federal government.
[…]  “As I’ve said many times before, the government is not your doctor. The federal government has no business inserting itself into private healthcare matters of Americans. There is no reason for them to collect this data, it is an affront to our liberties and health freedoms,” she said. “This kind of legislation is always passed because the government has its hands in everything nowadays, often at the expense of the freedoms and privacy of Americans. This bill would allow the government to collect, study, and share your private health data. There are endless ways the government could potentially use that information against you – purposefully and accidentally.” [NOTE: Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)  House Minority Leader voted yes. As did January 6th  Committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY)  ]

Carney: McConnell leaves GOP in dark on debt ceiling
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is keeping his debt ceiling strategy close to the vest as he negotiates with Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) ahead of a mid-December cliff. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said Congress has until Dec. 15 to raise the nation’s borrowing limit or risk a catastrophic default that would have widespread ramifications for the global economy. But close allies say they’ve been given virtually no insight into the talks with Schumer, with the two leaders having a high-profile meeting before Thanksgiving before going to ground on their negotiations since then.
Asked how much he was hearing about the McConnell-Schumer negotiations, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), an adviser to the Senate GOP leader, said “pretty much nothing.” […]  “Let me assure everyone the government will not default as it never has. And second, the majority leader and I have been having discussions about the way forward,” McConnell told reporters when asked about the talks.  Pressed again on the path forward, McConnell added that he and Schumer were engaged in “useful discussion.”

FAUCI’S VIRUS: IT’S POLITICAL

Silverio: Psaki Blames Americans For Biden’s Failure To Shut Down COVID When Pressed By Doocy
“What ever happened to President [Joe] Biden’s promise to shut down the virus?” Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Wednesday. “We’re working on it, Peter,” Psaki said. […]  Psaki responded that in order to go back to normal life, they need at least 20 percent of the American population to receive the COVID vaccine and the booster shot.

(A must read) ) Vadum: Dying COVID-19 Patient Recovers After Court Orders Hospital to Administer Ivermectin
An elderly COVID-19 patient has recovered after a court order allowed him to be treated with ivermectin, despite objections from the hospital in which he was staying, according to the family’s attorney. After an Illinois hospital insisted on administering expensive remdesivir to the patient and the treatment failed, his life was saved after a court ordered that an outside medical doctor be allowed to use the inexpensive ivermectin to treat him, over the hospital’s strenuous objections. […]  The drug “most definitely” saved the elderly patient’s life “because his condition changed right immediately after he took ivermectin,” attorney for the family, Kirstin M. Erickson of Chicago-based Mauck and Baker, told The Epoch Times. Sun Ng, 71, who was visiting the United States from Hong Kong to celebrate his granddaughter’s first birthday, became ill with COVID-19 and within days was close to death. He was hospitalized on Oct. 14 at Edward Hospital, in Naperville, Illinois, a part of the Edward-Elmhurst Health system. His condition worsened dramatically and he was intubated and placed on a ventilator a few days later.

Shepardson: Exclusive: U.S. to extend transit mask mandate through mid-March – sources
President Joe Biden’s administration will extend requirements for travelers to wear masks on airplanes, trains and buses and at airports and train stations through mid-March, sources briefed on the matter told Reuters, amid concerns about a new COVID-19 variant. A formal announcement extending the requirements through March 18 is expected on Thursday, the sources said. The White House and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) declined to comment. The TSA in August extended the transportation mask order through Jan. 18.

Daily Wire News: Fauci: I’m Advising Biden On New Testing Rules For Everyone Entering U.S., Border Crossers ‘Different Issue’
“Dr. Fauci, as you advise the president about the possibility of new testing requirements for people coming into this country, does that include everybody?” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked. “The answer is yes,” Fauci responded. “Because you know that the new, the new regulation, if you want to call it that, is that anybody and everybody who’s coming into the country needs to get a test within 24 hours of getting on the plane to come here.” “But what about people who don’t take a plane and just these border crossers coming in huge numbers?” Doocy pressed. “That’s a different issue,” Fauci answered.

CHINA: AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY

Chang: The Moral Imperative to End China’s Regime
“We do business in 100 countries,” said Jamie Dimon to Fox News Channel’s Maria Bartiromo in early August. “And we do, we do it under the laws of those lands and under the law of America as they apply.” “Foreign policy is set by the American government, not set by JPMorgan,” Dimon, the chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase, argued. Dimon is correct. The U.S. government does not prohibit banks or other companies from doing business in China. Yet doing business in China strengthens a horrific regime, so the issue is not about legality, as Dimon suggests. It is about morality. We must, therefore, ask: Is it moral to do business in the People’s Republic of China? The Communist Party of China operates one of the most immoral regimes in history. For instance, it kills in great numbers.

Foldi: Taxpayers Paid Big Money for Dem Attempt to Overturn Election Results
Taxpayers were left with the bill for more than $800,000 worth of legal fees after Democrats moved to overturn the results of an Iowa election won by Republican congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks, congressional records show. House Democrats took advantage of a provision they tucked into this year’s rules package to use government money to challenge the results of the Iowa election in the Committee on House Administration. The Democrats on the committee paid high-priced law firm Jenner & Block a total of $699,294 to lead their attempt to overturn the election results, which had already been officially certified by Iowa’s secretary of state after a recount. Republicans on the committee retained law firm Jones Day to respond to the challenge, paying it a substantially smaller sum of $126,942, according to committee records requested by the Washington Free Beacon.

AN AMERICA IN DECLINE

VDH: Third Worldizing America
In a recent online exchange, the YouTuber Casey Neistat posted his fury after his car was broken into and the contents stolen. Los Angeles, he railed, was turning into a “3rd-world s—hole of a city.” The multimillionaire actor Seth Rogen chastised Neistat for his anger. Rogen claimed that a car’s contents were minor things to lose. He added that while living in West Hollywood he had his own car broken into 15 times—but thought little of it. Online bloggers ridiculed Rogen. No wonder—the actor lives in multimillion-dollar homes in the Los Angeles area, guarded by sophisticated security systems and fencing.
Yet both Neistat and Rogen accurately defined Third Worldization: the utter breakdown of the law and the ability of the rich within such a feudal society to find ways to avoid the violent chaos.
