Elon Musk recently declaring that we need to move on from President Donald Trump is the latest example of chatter I have noticed lately on the news and conservative blogs about why we need to do an about-face to Governor Ron DeSantis as our presidential nominee in 2024. The question is whether this conversation is from the people or manufactured by Deep State operatives. As of the writing of this piece, Trump has not officially declared whether he’s even going to seek the nomination in 2024, but you wouldn’t know that from all the hand-wringing. So, for now this is just a hypothetical comparison.

The Biden administration is considering the declaration of a climate change emergency in response to congressional inaction on the issue. It’s unclear when and if such an announcement will come, though the White House had been considering a move as early as Wednesday. Two sources familiar with the discussion on Tuesday morning told The Hill that the announcement could come Wednesday — the same day that Biden is expected to discuss climate during a trip to Massachusetts. A third source also told The Hill that a climate emergency was under White House consideration.

Ring: Globalism and the Georgia Stones
On July 6, in an act of vandalism for which the culprits are still at large, one of the four “Georgia Guidestones” was blown apart. The damage was so severe that the entire monument was rendered too unstable to leave standing. For safety reasons, state officials almost immediately demolished the rest of the monument. While the Georgia Guidestones are not as well known as, say, Stonehenge, among critics of globalism they had acquired a certain infamy because of the inscriptions on the stones. Carved into four massive blocks of granite, and rendered in eight languages, this is what was on the stones:

A Missouri judge has ordered that a George Soros-backed prosecutor hand over documents to Just the News related to the bungled prosecution of former Missouri Republican Gov. Eric Greitens. […] Solomon filed the request in 2019 to obtain documents connected to Gardner’s prosecution of Greitens. Gardner accused Greitens in 2018 of felony invasion of privacy over an alleged warning he made to an ex-lover to keep their affair quiet. The then-governor allegedly threatened to release a suggestive photo of the woman. Gardner ultimately dropped the case, admitting she did not possess the photo or any other evidence.

A group of establishment Republicans released a report last week claiming to make “The Conservative Case that Trump Lost and Biden Won the 2020 Presidential Election.” It is not news that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. The report’s strawman-slaying title is intended to suggest that concerns about the integrity of that election are without merit. But the report itself simply goes through court decisions and recounts, listing how they turned out. It focuses on questions about “fraud,” rather than the significant and extremely well-substantiated concerns Republican voters have about the election.
“Their methodology obscures the vast majority of actual material to consider if one were honestly engaging the problems,” said Capital Research Center President Scott Walter. His group has documented the significant role played by Mark Zuckerberg’s private funding of government election offices, a massive issue that the report almost completely elided. Other major issues were also downplayed or ignored, . . .

Passage of the measure will more difficult in the evenly divided Senate. The Democrat-controlled House on Tuesday approved legislation to protect interracial and same-sex marriages, following concerns that the Supreme Court recently striking down the constitutional right to abortion could lead to the loss of other rights. The roll call vote – which requires all House members to vote, was 267-157, with 47 Republicans joining all Democrats in voting for passage, according to the Associated Press. The Democrat-led measure attempts to enshrine marriage equality in federal law, in an election year season in which control of Congress is at stake.

Commenting, “why would you let a Chinese researchers request to remove information that could be related to the pandemic, that’s related it current coronavirus genetic sequences? Why would you delete that? Saying, that specific deletion “was requested in June of 2020, right in the height of the pandemic, and the NIH did delete them.”

Queer Lisboa, an international queer film festival held in Portugal, was given $10,000 as part of the Biden administration’s push to “support LGBTQ+ and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility efforts” abroad, according to a State Department spokeswoman. America’s abandonment of faith gave rise to a new Woke religion. The Trans Movement is central to that new faith. […] Wokeism speaks directly to a flock that is younger, whiter, more credentialed, more affluent, more professional, less likely to live in the southeast, and far more likely to name their religion as “none” than is the overall American population. Wokeism has thus become extremely popular among the parts of the American public most likely to render unmet, unspoken, and unformulated whatever spiritual needs they may possess. Wokeism addresses many of those needs without ever forcing its adherents to confront their own buried spirituality. You can’t make sense of today’s America without understanding Wokeism—again, a topic far too big for a single essay. The task that I set for this essay is modest by comparison: Zeroing in on the spiritual roots of one specific and important element of Wokeism. This essay will demonstrate that—contrary to what both the fully Woke and their harshest critics may contend—the “Trans Movement” is nothing less profound than the Woke rediscovery of the soul. Why is such a demonstration necessary? Because gender issues today are central to nearly every discussion about education, public accommodation, health care, manners, and even the evolution of the English language. Discussions and debates incapable of seeing the Trans Movement for what it is cannot provide either its adherents or its opponents with the respect their arguments deserve. It’s important to start such a demonstration with clear definitions. Wokeism, however, is not great about defining its terms.

The New York Post reported Saturday that at Montpelier, Madison’s Virginia plantation, “not a single display focuses on the life and accomplishments of America’s foremost political philosopher, who created our three-branch federal system of government, wrote the Bill of Rights and the Federalist Papers, and served two terms as president. Instead, blindsided tourists are hammered by high-tech exhibits about Madison’s slaves and current racial conflicts, thanks to a $10 million grant from left-leaning philanthropist David M. Rubenstein.”

Facing criticism from across the political spectrum, a Manhattan district attorney boosted in his campaign for office by George Soros, has moved to drop murder charges against a bodega worker caught on camera defending himself from a violent assault. The office of District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D.) filed a motion to drop the second-degree murder case against Jose Alba, a middle-aged employee who used a knife to subdue an assailant assaulting him at work, according to the New York Post. The Manhattan prosecutor’s office said it could not prove Alba had been unjustified in his use of deadly force after his more physically imposing attacker lunged behind the counter, threw him against a wall, and grabbed him by the collar, the motion states.
