I stood up to America’s bureaucratic corruption, I restored power to the people, and truly delivered for our Country, like we have never seen before. The establishment hated it. Now, as they watch my endorsed candidates win big victories, and see my dominance in all polls, they are trying to stop me, and the Republican Party, once more. Mcevoy: ‘Outrageous’: EPA Agents Are Flying Helicopters Over Texas Oil Fields To Crack Down On Methane Emissions From Drilling

The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Region 6 department is conducting helicopter flyovers over the Permian Basin to identify “super-emitters” of methane gas among oil and gas operations, according to an Aug. 1 news release. The flyovers will use infrared cameras to inspect hundreds of oil and gas activities in the Permian Basin region of West Texas and southeast New Mexico until Aug. 15, according to the press release. The agency hopes to use aerial surveillance to identify large emitters of methane and excessive volatile organic compound (VOC), emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids which may cause adverse health effects, as well as address any noncompliance indicated by the flyovers through EPA administrative enforcement actions and referrals to the Department of Justice (DOJ). “It’s just a way to intimidate the oil and gas industry,” Steve Milloy, member of former President Donald Trump’s EPA transition team, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “The EPA’s conduct is outrageous.”

The Biden administration moved on Monday to suspend the Trump-era “Remain in Mexico” policy. Driving the news: U.S. District Court Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk earlier on Monday lifted an injunction that required the Department of Homeland Security to resume the policy, formally called Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP).

Hamilton: Heritage Foundation Sues Biden’s DHS for Failing to Answer FOIA Request

In January, the Heritage Foundation filed a FOIA request seeking information from DHS about “any stakeholders involved in the decision and any communications they may have had with Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas.” The FOIA request comes after Biden’s lax enforcement of federal immigration law. For example, Biden ordered a 100-day moratorium on deportations on his first day in office. However, a federal judge prohibited Biden from enforcing the deportation moratorium. The Heritage Foundation’s lawsuit argued DHS failed to comply with “statutory timelines” to provide the requested information, according to the Daily Caller.

Catenacci: White House tries again to rebrand Biden, this time as ‘dark Brandon’

Multiple White House staffers and Democrats have taken to social media attempting to rebrand President Biden as “dark Brandon” amid a series of legislative victories. “Dark Brandon is crushing it,” Andrew Bates, the White House deputy press secretary, tweeted Sunday evening along with an image of Biden with laser eyes. “Your malarkey has been going on for long enough, kiddo,” read the image’s caption. Bates then tweeted another meme with the captions “the malarkey will end” and “the dark Brandon rises” in response to a tweet criticizing his initial post. The image appeared to depict Biden as Batman.

But conservatives pointed out that the second image tweeted by Bates included eagle imagery resembling the logo used by the Nazi Party in the 1930s. […] The “Dark Brandon” moniker appears to have started on Twitter in March among anonymous Biden supporters seeking to create an “edgy” version of the president, according to an online meme database. The meme also seeks to co-opt the “let’s go Brandon” meme that originated among conservatives online and has become popular for those that oppose the Biden administration’s agenda.

Maggie Haberman, a New York Times White House correspondent who closely followed Trump during his presidency for an upcoming book, claimed to have obtained pictures of presidential notes stuffed into the residence toilets from a former White House official who worked under the previous administration. The images published by Axios on Monday purportedly show two sets of notes in the toilets, one of which is said to be located in a White House bathroom, and the other in an undisclosed location abroad during a foreign presidential trip – though the papers appeared to be handwritten rather than official documents. […] Trump spokesperson Taylor Budowich told Axios this week: ‘You have to be pretty desperate to sell books if pictures of paper in a toilet bowl is part of your promotional plan.’ ‘There’s enough people willing to fabricate stories like this in order to impress the media class — a media class who is willing to run with anything, as long as it anti-Trump,’ he added.

The facts at hand are about as revolting as they can possibly be. A married gay couple in metro Atlanta, William Dale Zulock, 32, and Zachary Jacoby Zulock, 35, is accused of using their two adopted boys in child porn films. The case raises numerous questions that will never be answered because no one will dare to raise them. […] Ultimately, both husbands were arrested, and Walton County’s Division of Family and Child Services intervened “to help protect the two children in the home,” although they’re obviously a bit late to protect them from the major trauma they have already gone through. For “after making sure the children were safe, investigators found evidence that the couple, who were the adoptive fathers of the pair of brothers living there, were recording themselves committing sexually abusive acts against the children.” According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the adoptive fathers of the boys “were engaging in sexually abusive acts and video documenting this abuse.”

Richard Grenell, former U.S. Ambassador to Germany, has sued deep state employee Olivia Troye for defamation, according to a lawsuit filed on Monday in Virginia state court. Teen girls around the world have begun reenacting tics after watching popular influencers with Tourette’s syndrome on TikTok. When the pandemic began in 2020, while many were shuttered indoors relying heavily on social media, neurologists began seeing droves of teen girls reporting the sudden onset of physical and verbal tics. Omar Danoun, MD, a neurologist at Henry Ford Health, believes that it is induced by watching TikTok influencers with Tourette’s Syndrome. He explains that because they’re watching these videos so often, their brains start to mimic the tics. “What these teen girls have are called functional tics—it’s a functional neurological disorder,” said Dr. Danoun. “We’ve seen this before in children who have parents or siblings with seizures. They’ll develop functional seizures. The brain imitates what it sees. It’s used as an escape mechanism.” As additional evidence of a social contagion, Dr. Danoun notes that a lot of the American patients he sees are “talking in a British accent” and “saying British words,” something he has never encountered before in his Michigan practice.
