Kelly: It’s Inevitable: Trump Will Be Indicted

Americans should prepare for the spectacle of Donald Trump pleading not guilty to charges brought by the Biden Justice Department. Few days after federal agents stormed Donald Trump’s castle in Palm Beach last week, Judge Beryl Howell berated a man from Georgia for his involvement in the Capitol protest on January 6, 2021. “Listening without question to political rhetoric that leads to serious offenses, criminal conduct, is not an excuse when you’re standing in a court of law,” Howell told Glen Simon, a Trump supporter who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct on restricted grounds. “You’ve got to use your common sense and your own sense of who you are and how you’d like to conduct yourself as an American citizen before just blindly doing what a political figure says.” Howell then sentenced Simon to eight months in prison. The “political figure” to whom the judge was referring is President Trump. And Howell is not just any judge; she is the chief judge of the D.C. District Court that is overseeing at least 850 criminal cases related to the Capitol protest. Appointed by Barack Obama in 2010, Howell does not disguise her partisan leanings or her contempt for Trump supporters. […] As evidence mounts that Trump supporters cannot get a fair trial in Washington—surveys of prospective jurors conducted by defense counsel show a heavy bias against January 6 protesters—D.C. District Court judges have denied each change of venue motion. Coverage of the January 6 select committee hearings undoubtedly has amplified that bias, especially for high-profile defendants such as members of the Oath Keepers. The committee has focused on the roles of both the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, airing videos of their conduct that day and attempting to tie these alleged militias to Donald Trump.

Following the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago, Trump says he “will do whatever” he can “to help the country.” He told Fox News Digital that the “temperature has to be brought down” while saying the American people are “not going to stand for another scam.” Trump says he asked his representatives to reach out to the Department of Justice to give a helping hand in the midst of shock and anger due to the FBI’s raid. Trump says the records are declassified. “The country is in a very dangerous position. There is tremendous anger, like I’ve never seen before, over all of the scams, and this new one—years of scams and witch hunts, and now this.” He continues: . . . […] If the DOJ does not want to see more chaos, they should work with Trump and his team to bring the temperature down.

Kunstler: A Different Sort of Warrant

Former president Trump is not without resources and recourse in all this. Though the news media does not follow it, the Trump v Clinton lawsuit trial continues, and it might not go so well for Mrs. Clinton and her friends…. It should be pretty obvious that the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago was an attempt to seize evidence likely to be used in former President Donald Trump’s civil lawsuit in the Southern Florida Federal District Court against Hillary Clinton and associated defendants in and out of government for the defamation and racketeering operation known as RussiaGate — AND in any future criminal proceedings that might grow out of congressional investigations-to-come against officials past and present in the DOJ and FBI. The idea is to tie up all those documents in a legal dispute about declassification so they can’t be entered in any proceeding. Over the weekend, independent journalist Paul Sperry reported that many of the same FBI officers involved in the Mar-a-Lago raid happen to be subjects of Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the origins of RussiaGate. Have some of them already been hauled into grand juries? We don’t know. But, with the Mar-a-Lago caper, it looks like the law enforcement apparatus of the federal government is seeking to suppress evidence of its own long-running criminal enterprise.

Cleveland: Records Suggest A Backbench Bureaucrat’s Partisan Grievance Spurred The FBI’s Nakedly Political Raid On Trump

Last week’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home represented the culmination of a criminal investigation pushed by a partisan bureaucrat who called January 6, 2021, the “absolute worst” day of his life. And while since last Monday, the country has focused on the FBI’s raid of Trump’s personal residence, seeing that as the crossing of the Rubicon, the die was cast this spring when the DOJ went to the grand jury about Trump’s presidential records. […] But the presidential records were never the concern; nor were the documents with classified markings, which remained secured along with the Trump family. The goal was always to get Trump, which is why NARA referred the matter to the DOJ, which then used a grand jury to investigate the former president of the United States. And once the grand jury began the case, under the apparent auspices of a violation of the Presidential Records Act — if the sources are believed — the DOJ teed up the possibility of an “Obstruction of Justice” charge for anything less than full cooperation in the mind of the FBI. Whether Trump’s lawyer signed a declaration that inaccurately claimed Trump had no documents marked as classified is unknown. If so, it would appear an obstruction charge will be forthcoming, but then so will a fight over whether Trump’s lawyer meant Trump had not retained any “classified” documents since they had all been declassified and the marking just not fixed. Or maybe that’s all the declaration stated — that Trump did not possess any classified documents. An Espionage Act charge . . .

Widburg: Tucker’s back from vacation and breathing fire about the Mar-a-Lago raid

The monologue began with Tucker noting that the Democrat party mouthpieces in the media kept offering new theories about the basis for the search as the old ones collapsed before actual logic. Horowitz: How is this DOJ witch hunt against congressional conservatives not unconstitutional?

The seizure of Rep. Scott Perry’s personal cell phone by the FBI is likely unconstitutional. Now that I just gave a constitutional opinion contrary to the view of the government, does that make me a criminal, and will they come to arrest me? Welcome to the Fourth Reich. On Tuesday, Rep. Perry announced that three FBI agents had seized his cell phone. While information concerning their warrant is unknown at this point, the media is speculating that it has to do with accusations of the January 6 Committee that Perry was involved in the so-called conspiracy to overturn the election results and advocate for an alternate slate of electors from Pennsylvania. But where is the commission of a crime? […] Keep in mind that Perry is the member of Congress who last year filed articles of impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland, the ultimate boss of the FBI, who signed the warrant for the Trump raid. This is exactly the sort of conflict of interest in law enforcement that our Founders wanted to avoid. They particularly feared the collusion between the law enforcement officials of the executive branch and the magistrates, a fear that we are witnessing in real life with magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, a former Jeffrey Epstein lawyer who hated Trump and approved the warrant against Trump. That the use of pseudouridine has been given the green light again, without further preclinical testing on safety. That the length of time the mRNA . . . It appears that the FDA also did not require more testing of the nano lipid particles for safety, reproductive toxicity and bio-distribution in an animal model. This also implies that there have been no further pre-clinical studies regarding the spike protein as a toxin in the combination flu/COVID-19 mRNA vaccine candidate. With this doozy of truth bomb, I set out to discover just what clinical trials are currently enrolling.

Liberty Counsel: FDA expands EUA for Monkeypox shot for children

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expanded the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) this week for the JYNNEOS Monkeypox shot to include “high-risk” children under 18, even though there have been no clinical trials on that age group, it is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) among homosexual and bisexual men, and there have been no deaths in the United States. However, there are significant adverse effects from the Moneypox shot. Apparently, under the expanded EUA, health care providers can now administer the Bavarian Nordic’s JYNNEOS “vaccine” through an alternative method of injection. This type of intradermal injection (between layers of the skin rather than below the skin) will increase available doses from 441,000 to more than 2.2 million.

China’s response to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent visit to Taiwan gives a glimpse of what future conflicts could look like. ast week, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) declared an end to its live-fire military exercises. An enraged Beijing kicked off the drills in response to U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan during her recent trip to Asia. The exercises presented a rare window for the outside world to examine the PLA’s strength, offered clues to how Beijing plans to take over Taiwan militarily, and served as a reminder that Beijing has consistently matched its rhetoric with actions. All branches of the PLA, from the army, navy, and air force, to logistical units, participated in the week-long drills. They encircled Taiwan, which effectively imposed a blockade on the island. The PLA showed off its fighting power by deploying fighter jets and bombers in the sky and destroyers, submarines, and aircraft carriers in the ocean. The PLA also launched ballistic missiles over Taiwan, five of which, according to the Japanese Ministry of Defense, landed in Japanese-controlled water for the first time. Taiwan’s military also accused Beijing of sustained cyberattacks on Taiwan’s internet service. Many defense experts were shocked at how much progress the Chinese military had made since the last Taiwan strait crisis in 1995-1996 when China staged military exercises after then-House Speaker Newt Gingrich visited Taiwan. […] China’s military drills have demonstrated its resolve and ability to invade Taiwan, but these exercises also suggest that Beijing is testing new strategies on Taiwan. Rather than an outright invasion, Beijing may first impose a blockade on Taiwan to starve the island’s economy while cutting off the island’s contact with the outside world and preventing economic and military aid from arriving from Taiwan’s allies.

They intend to do this by passing the Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization (TERM) Act, which was introduced in late July. Their sneaky court-packing scheme endangers the separation of powers and individual liberty. It must be rejected. […] The statute would immediately relegate conservative Justice Clarence Thomas to senior status, clearing the way for president Biden to elevate another progressive to the bench.

Starbucks recently asked the National Labor Relations Board to suspend all pending and ongoing votes to unionize at its U.S. stores due to concerns stemming from mail-in ballots. The franchise’s objections once again raise questions about the credibility of election systems that rely on mail-in ballots.

As with coffee companies, how much more with the American electoral process? With hundreds of millions of dollars of campaign material and increasing numbers of ballots in the mail, postal efficiency and honesty are becoming increasingly vital to free and fair elections. Ostensibly to address some of these concerns, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced on July 28 that it was creating the Election and Government Mail Services division. Adrienne E. Marshall, a USPS veteran, was named as the division’s first director, with Marc Elias, the Democrat’s foremost lawfare professional and longtime proponent of elections by mail, tweeting out his approval.

The SBC is the largest protestant faith group in the United States and is among the most politically conservative as 64% of the church’s members are Republican, according to a report from Pew Research Center. “The SBC Executive Committee recently became aware that the Department of Justice has initiated an investigation into the Southern Baptist Convention, and that the investigation will include multiple SBC entities,” the church’s executive leadership said in a statement. “Individually and collectively each SBC entity is resolved to fully and completely cooperate with the investigation.”

A fairly large swath of the party just does not understand that while they played the standard game of political bean bag, the other side was taking their cues from Saul Alinsky and were playing with clubs and knives. Republicans often just don’t seem to recognize who they are fighting. They think this is the Democratic Party of the 1960s. […] Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) — who prevented Garland from becoming a Supreme Court justice in 2016 when he blocked his nomination — said he was voting to confirm Garland because of “his long reputation as a straight shooter and a legal expert” and that his “left-of-center perspective” was still within the legal mainstream. Along with McConnell (R-Ky.), the Republicans who crossed over were . . . […] if experience alone is the measure of political wisdom, how do explain the fawning Republican support for the appointment of Merrick Garland, who promptly turned out to be our most dangerous Attorney General in history? But they went over the edge with their latest effort — claiming that the rosary has become an “extremist symbol.” The article depicts the rosary using bullet holes and erroneously refers to it as a “sacrament.” First, let’s start with the fact that if you don’t even know what the sacraments are, don’t pretend like you’re conveying anything that is at all accurate. There are seven sacraments in the Catholic Church — the rosary is not one of them. […] Can we talk about what looks like raging anti-Catholic bigotry here? Suggesting that the rosary is a symbol of hate is hateful and ridiculous. […] Maybe The Atlantic is talking about extremists and the rosary, they’re talking about Joe Biden? Biden . . .

Today, some green activists are fighting against the next generation of climate-friendly technologies, including advanced nuclear reactors and systems to capture and store the carbon in fossil fuels, or even scrub it from the atmosphere. Call it the green war on clean energy. […] When Lights studied the debates around energy and climate, she came to the same conclusions that other open-minded environmentalists have reached: that fears of nuclear accidents and waste are wildly overblown; that the advantages of renewable energy have been oversold; and that policies limiting the supply of energy inflict heavy costs on the poor. In recent years, alas, the rosy image of English cops has been severely tarnished. It’s now known that for decades, constabularies in many English cities were so scared of being called racists that they ignored the systematic rape of thousands of children by Muslim “grooming gangs.” They’ve also harassed Tommy Robinson, who’s done more than anyone to expose those gangs. And they’ve arrested thousands of ordinary people for expressing politically incorrect opinions online. A former Chancellor of West Germany, Berlin senators, bureaucrats, and members of the educational establishment have all been implicated in a network “in which paedophile positions were accepted, supported, and defended”, according to a report into the placement of homeless children with known paedophile foster parents by the German government. For over a year, researchers at the University of Hildesheim have undertaken the examination of thousands of files in the Senate Education Administration in Berlin. The 57-page report, which was published this week, found that a “network of actors in the Senate administration and institutions of educational reforms during the home reform of the 1970s tolerated the establishment of shared apartments and foster homes for paedophile men”. A man with a criminal record for child abuse, referred in the report as Fritz H., was able to rape and abuse at least nine children that were given to him as foster children under the government-backed scheme.
