In June of this year, seven weeks before the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in search of classified materials, former Defense Department appointee and outspoken Trump loyalist Kash Patel vowed to retrieve classified documents from the National Archives and publish them on his website. Trump had just issued a letter instructing the National Archives to grant Patel and conservative journalist John Solomon access to nonpublic administration records, according to reporting at the time. Patel, who under Trump had been the chief of staff for the acting defense secretary, claimed in a string of interviews that Trump had declassified a trove of “Russiagate documents” in the final days of his administration. But Patel claimed Trump’s White House counsel had blocked the release of those documents, and instead had them delivered to the National Archives.

On Thursday, speaking of federal agencies and their overbearing effect on the American populace which has no recourse to challenge them, Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro said bluntly, “The regulatory state needs to die. A stake needs to be driven through its heart.” Shapiro addressed the CDC and it’s director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, admitting it needed to reorganize. Then he turned to the reluctance by much of the federal bureaucracy to admit that the monkeypox outbreak has been driven by men in the homosexual community. “Best scientific story today,” he stated. “This is from NBC News. So you may have noticed because it’s perfectly obvious that sex between gay men was causing the spread of monkeypox. You may have noticed this because all statistics showed it, that 96% of new monkeypox cases were from men who were having sex with other men.” “But you weren’t allowed to say that,” he noted. “It was ‘skin to skin contact.’” […] “There’s an embedded institutional attitude at the CDC,” he charged. “And these embedded institutional attitudes have a massive impact on how regulation is done, which is why the regulatory state needs to die. A stake needs to be driven through its heart. Instead, rulemaking needs to be done at the legislative level.

The CDC announced that the institutes have done an external/self-study and proposed a makeover “to restore public trust.” Dr. Walensky said that she “plans to remake the culture to help the agency move faster when it responds to a public health crisis. She also wants to make it easier for other parts of the government to work with the CDC, and wants to simplify and streamline the website to get rid of overlapping and contradictory public health guidance.” The CDC’s announcement covers everything except the fundamental problem to which the director and the external reviewer are blind: industry subservience and epidemiologic incompetence. The CDC has published numbers of fatally flawed study reports over the last two years in MMWR, its captive journal. No amounts of “moving faster” will fix this problem. It took the CDC two years to figure out that the vaccines are not an effective public health tool for reducing infection spread, something that I and numerous colleagues have been saying for more than a year.

Senate races are just different. They’re statewide, candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome.” — McConnell in Kentucky, according to NBC News

The story here is that Hageman said she received a “two-second” voicemail from Cheney that didn’t mention a concession. In a petty fit of rage, the Cheney camp ran to give a recording to Politico purporting to be the voicemail which included a concession. That led Stephen Hayes, who was just salivating to have his priors confirmed, to launch into a rant about how Hageman is a liar who is just out seeking “MAGApplause.” Of course, that was a completely unfair characterization of Hageman, who spent her campaign focusing on the issues people care about in Wyoming while Cheney played for the cameras in Washington. Hayes didn’t care about that context, though, instead seeking to paint her as some mindless Trump-loving zombie. Now, go ahead and take one guess about how this saga ends. […] Sure enough, Hageman had the voicemail saved and it was exactly what she said it was. Cheney called and said “Howdy, Harriet” with nothing but blank space and background chatter after that. That leaves two possibilities. Cheney herself set this up and gave Politico a false recording or there was a technical difficulty. Either way, Hageman wasn’t lying.

The more US agricultural technology China acquires, especially through theft, in order to become dominant in the agritech field, the worse the US will fare when it comes to selling its own technology, whether to China or third countries.

The specific goal is for China to be able to satisfy 95% of its demand for agricultural machinery with equipment that is manufactured in China. According to the USCC report, those policies, underpinned in part by technological theft, have negatively affected US exports to China of agricultural equipment….

China has been expanding its ownership of US land over the past decade from 13,720 acres in 2010 to 352,140 acres in 2020, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

China’s largest purchase in the US agriculture sector so far has been Smithfield Foods in 2013, the largest pork producer in the US. China’s WH Group — a state-owned company, which began as a meatpacking business in China — owns it today. At the time of the sale, Smithfield had 25 U.S. plants, 460 farms, and contracts with 2,100 producers in 12 states and the ownership of Smithfield accounted for more than 146,000 acres of US land.

According to the latest available FBI Unified Crime Report, San Francisco had the highest overall crime rate of the 20 largest cities in the United States, recording 6,917 crimes per 100,000 population in 2019.

Noella participated in the Trans Clothing Company show, which was created by designer Mel Atkinson, according to Metro. “It feels good that I’m already inspiring trans kids to be themselves,” Noella said of the appearance. Current guardians Ray and Dee McMaher told the publication that Noella, a biological male, began socially transitioning at the age of 4. Both parents identify as non-binary, per Noella’s Instagram account.

Rigolizzo: Sacramento School District Has Been Pushing Radical Gender Theory Since 2012, Documents Show

The documents, obtained by writer and activist Christopher Rufo, show that the Sacramento USD has been pushing teachers and school administrators to adopt the core tenets of radical gender theory since at least 2012. Training materials and presentations obtained by Rufo encourage LGBT teachers to openly express their sexuality, while pushing straight teachers to self-discriminate, hiding their sexuality in favor of being an “ally” to LGBT teachers. The documents also encourage teachers to take similar steps to become allies of transgender students as well, Rufo reported. “Sacramento Unified has been working on this for a decade,” Rufo wrote in a Twitter thread accompanying his report. “In 2012, the district invited academic queer theorist Elizabeth Meyer to conduct a leadership presentation on how to launder ‘queer pedagogy’ into the K-12 system and create ‘sexual diversity.’”

Sadly, this social contract has been broken because mixed-up or opportunistic men claiming to be women are allowed to invade these private spaces. These men’s insensitivity to women’s fear and discomfort is additional proof that they are not women. […] Ironically, my male friend would never have tried to invade a female space and would have respected women’s feelings, unlike many trans activists. Rather than respecting women’s feelings of vulnerability, many of these men in dresses enjoy the power of being in those settings, where they can view exposed women and show their male genitalia with impunity (something other cannot do legally), all because they claim to be women. They behave exactly like predatory men, overtly pressuring women with their power and dominance, and leaving the women unable to fight back. Examples abound.

Politicians have found a way to kill two birds with one stone: ignore the endemic slaughter of Christians at the hands of Muslims, while over exaggerating the impact of climate change. How? By saying that climate change is the true engine that drives the persecution of Christians. On Pentecost Sunday, June 5, 2022, Muslims massacred some 50 Christians inside a Nigerian church (see here for several other examples of Muslims massacring Christians worshipping inside their Nigerian churches). Two days later, the president of Ireland, Michael Higgins, issued a statement on the incident. In it, he links the Nigerian church massacre to “climate change”: three of the statement’s four paragraphs deal with global warming; nowhere does the statement acknowledge, much less condemn, Islamic radicalization and terrorism in the region—even though that is precisely what led to the Pentecost Sunday church massacre. […] Ireland’s president, incidentally, is hardly the first or only high ranking politician to try to blame Islamic terrorism on climate change. In December, 2022, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said that “Climate change … is an aggravating factor for instability, conflict and terrorism.” […] They shamelessly exploit the human suffering of Christians and others by deflecting attention from its true cause—Islamic radicalization and terrorism—and turning it to their particular pet projects, in this case, climate change.

Duell & Tonkin: Apple security flaw threatens ‘everything we hold dear’: BILLIONS across globe scramble to update iPhones and Macs as tech giant reveals cyber crooks can take control of devices and access bank accounts, photos and more

Billions of Apple users were today urged to update their devices after the firm disclosed serious security vulnerabilities for iPhones, iPads and Macs that could potentially allow attackers to take complete control of them. The US company said it is ‘aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited’ and released two security reports about the issue on Wednesday, but they have only now received more widespread attention. Security experts told users to update affected devices – the iPhone 6S and later models; and several models of the iPad, including the 5th generation and later, all iPad Pros, the iPad Mini 4 and later and the iPad Air 2 and later. The update, iOS 15.6.1, also applies to the iPod Touch 7th generation. In addition, Mac computers on MacOS Monterey are affected – with users urged to download ‘12.5.1’. The issues were found by an anonymous researcher in ‘WebKit’, the browser engine that powers Safari; and ‘Kernel’, which is the core of the operating system.
