“According to the Privilege Review Team’s Report, the seized materials include medical documents, correspondence related to taxes, and accounting information,” Cannon wrote. A source familiar told Fox News that the FBI seized 40 years of Trump’s medical records from Mar-a-Lago during the search. Congressional Democrats have been seeking Trump’s tax returns since 2019. f it could be proven that the virus that causes COVID-19 was spreading throughout the world by November 2019 (or even earlier), the shift in the Covid narrative might be seismic. For example, if the virus had already infected large numbers of people, the justification for the lockdowns of mid-March 2020 to “slow or stop the spread” of a newly arrived virus would be shown to be nonsense. Estimates of the number of people who had already developed natural immunity as well as of the infection fatality rate (IFR) might be dramatically different. It would suggest the disease was not nearly as lethal as experts proclaimed. The mass fear in the public – a prerequisite for lockdowns and later for mass vaccinations – might be much lower. Given these points, it’s odd public health officials and investigative journalists have eschewed serious investigations that might confirm this virus had already spread around the world before January 1st, 2020.

Lin: COVID-19 Pandemic Has Brought a Life-Threatening Infection Spike in Hospitals, Raising Serious Concerns

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a life-threatening infection of a superbug spiked in hospitals, raising a big concern. MRSA, which stands for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, is one of the well known superbugs, which are bacterias that are resistant to most antibiotics. Since 2010, laboratory-identified cases of MRSA infection have been significantly decreasing. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic swept through the United States, hospitals have experienced an increase in the number of MRSA infections. The hospital overload has resulted in higher health-care associated infections. During the fourth quarter of 2020, the national MRSA bacteremia standardized infection ratio was 34 percent higher than that of 2019. Several states reported even greater increases in 2020, such as Arizona with a 80 percent increase and New Jersey with a 99 percent increase.

Johnson & Rancourt: Lockdowns Did Not Save Lives

The USA and its 50 state jurisdictions provide a natural experiment to test whether excess all-cause deaths can be directly attributed to implementing the social and economic structural large-scale changes induced by ordering general-population lockdowns. Ten states had no lockdown impositions and there are 38 pairs of lockdown/non-lockdown states that share a land border. We find that the regulatory imposition and enforcement of statewide shelter-in-place or stay-at-home orders conclusively correlates with larger health-status-corrected, per capita, all-cause mortality by state. This result is inconsistent with the hypothesis that lockdowns saved lives.

As noted by Reuters, “European gas prices, as measured by the benchmark Dutch TTF October gas contract, rose by as much as 30% on Sept. 5, amid growing fears of a total shutdown of Russian pipeline imports ahead of the European winter.”

The Nazis promised to remove the shackles and reenergize the German economy. As a result, in 1932 they won the largest share of seats in parliament (36%), and Hitler was appointed chancellor in 1933. Once in power, the gloves came off. […] As Martin Niemöller suggests in his 1946 poem “First they came,” the Nazis were able to accomplish their goals by taking baby steps of oppression with little discernible pushback from a willfully gullible public.

Vamazae Elgin Banks, 24, appeared in court after threatening a McDonald’s worker with a gun before stealing less than $100. Court records accused Banks of telling the cashier at the fast food joint that he would kill her if she didn’t produce the cash quickly enough, allegedly telling her ‘hurry up or I’ll blow your brains out!’ Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daniel Lowenthal made the mistrial ruling after he decided the alleged robber couldn’t take proper notes due to his lack of proper sleep. Trials like these typically cost the judicial system between $600-$1,300.

Posh private schools in New York City curated reading lists that promote radical gender ideology to kindergartners, according to reading lists compiled by National Review. Nightingale-Bamford, an all-girls school where annual tuition is $59,000, promotes books that explicitly highlight gender transitions and LGBT pride parades to kindergarteners. The school’s library promotes “Pride Puppy,” a book about a dog lost at a gay pride parade; “Julian Is A Mermaid,” a book about a young boy dressing in fairy-tale drag; and “When Aidan Became A Brother,” which tells the story of a transgender child.

April 2021 emails, obtained by the Parent Association via open-records requests and shared in tweets by Reopen California Schools, show Ann Swinburn, a strategic research specialist at the California Teachers Association, asking lockdown activists for information about “various ‘reopen’ groups around the state.” Swinburn specifically expressed interest in Parent Association, the group that believes “Parents are the best advocates for students” and strongly advocated for the reopening of schools during the state’s Covid-19 panic.

Rufo: A PARENT’S GUIDE TO RADICAL GENDER THEORY

Radical gender theory is a catch-all term for academic queer theory, transgender ideology, and gender identity activism. The premise of this ideology is that sex and gender are socially constructed—that is, they are human inventions used as instruments of power, rather than features of objective reality. Elordi: Seattle Teachers Poised To Strike And Delay School Year

Seattle teachers are poised to go on strike over a flurry of demands, including more money, threatening to delay the start of the school year. The Seattle Education Association said Tuesday that members of the teachers union have voted to authorize a strike if the union does not reach a deal with the school district by Tuesday evening. The school year is set to begin on Wednesday for Seattle Public Schools, Washington state’s largest school district.

Former Trump White House strategist Steve Bannon is facing a new criminal indictment in New York and is expected to surrender to state prosecutors on Thursday, according to a new report. Bannon, a key associate of former President Donald Trump, will likely be indicted on similar charges to the federal case that Trump had pardoned him in, the Washington Post reported Tuesday. In the federal case, prosecutors said Bannon and others defrauded people who donated to a $25 million fundraising effort dubbed “We Build the Wall” by using the money meant to fund the construction of a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico for their own purchases. The longtime Trump ally was accused of pocketing $1 million from the fundraiser. He pleaded not guilty to the federal charges in August 2020 but was given a presidential pardon before the case went to trial.

Jacobs: This California Bill Would Outlaw Fast Food And Intensify Inflation

The bill would create a council to mandate a separate minimum wage applying only to certain fast-food establishments. According to the bill, the council could impose a minimum wage for these establishments next year of as high as $22 per hour—an amount nearly 42 percent higher than the statewide minimum wage of $15.50 that takes effect on Jan. 1, and an amount subject to additional annual increases. Creating a higher minimum wage would raise business costs, and help push prices ever higher. As it is, families have struggled to keep up with the current high rate of inflation, with real (i.e., inflation-adjusted) average hourly earnings falling in most months over the past year. Hitting these families with even higher costs for a meal at a fast-food establishment—sometimes the only “luxury” working-class households can afford—would provide ordinary California residents another proverbial kick in the teeth.

Mathias Döpfner is a billionaire media mogul and the new owner of Politico after his publishing company, Axel Springer, bought the website and its affiliate sites in a $1 billion deal last year.
