The group wrote in its Supreme Court filing that it needed an emergency order to put the program on hold because the administration could begin canceling outstanding student debt as soon as Sunday.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CPFB) was originally created by congress (Elizabeth Warren lead) as a quasi-constitutional watchdog agency to reach into the banking and financial system, under the guise of oversight, and extract money by fining entities for CFPB defined regulatory and/or compliance violations. Essentially, the CFPB is a congressionally authorized far-left extortion scheme in the banking sector. The CFPB levies fines; the fines generate income; however, unlike traditional fines that go to the U.S. treasury, the CFBP fines are then redistributed to left-wing organizations to help fund their political activism. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) was the brainchild of Senator Elizabeth Warren as an outcome of the Dodd-Frank legislation. Within the CFPB Warren tried to set up the head of the agency, the Director, in a manner that that he/she would operate without oversight. Unfortunately, her dictatorial-fiat-design collapsed when challenged in court.

Some social media blue checks had a bit of a temper tantrum this week following the release of a New York Times poll that showed overwhelming support for Republicans among Gen X voters. The poll broke down the results by the respondents’ ages, and while the category encompassing Gen X also technically included some younger Baby Boomers, it captured most of the so-called slacker generation. According to the survey, Gen Xers, those born between 1965 and 1980, now prefer a Republican candidate to a Democratic candidate 59 percent to 38 percent, a huge gap unmatched by the other age groups. (Boomers, the next closest group, split at 48 percent for each.) That wasn’t the only bad news for Democrats.

On Wednesday, the Republican Women of Kenai became the latest Alaska Republican group to lambast the Kentucky senator and demanded his own state party censure him. In March last year, the Alaska Republican Party censured Sen. Lisa Murkowski and pledged to support a primary opponent. The party endorsed Kelly Tshibaka four months later. Because Alaska will use ranked-choice voting in its general election in lieu of traditional party primaries, the two Republicans are still embattled in competition. “Be it resolved that the Republican women of the Kenai,” Wednesday’s resolution read, “that we request the Alaska Republican Party leadership demand Senator Mitch McConnell and the Senate Leadership Fund respect the Alaska Republican Party’s endorsement of Kelly Tshibaka.”

The $50 billion in total funding was included in December’s $900 billion relief deal and this year’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan. () […] Meanwhile, no reimbursement for the grieving families of any loved one suspected of sudden death linked to the untested Covid vaccine. On page 62 of the paper’s 68-page appendix, in Table S26, Moderna charts all the side effects reported in the trial, serious or not. The footnotes to the Table S26 contain this note: . . . […] Based on the description in the footnotes, this incident was very dangerous. Diabetic ketoacidosis, or DKA, occurs when the body can no longer rely on its sugars for fuel because of a lack of insulin. Instead, it breaks down fat in an effort to survive, causing acids called ketones to build in the blood. DKA can be fatal if it is not quickly medically managed.
