NOTABLE QUOTES

Michele Swinick a 2022 Maricopa County election judge: “In my opinion, the machines were programmed to do this, and it was all planned. The process and narrative, both machines and people. It was brilliantly done. They isolated the ballots to replace or not count them in 223 bags. The hard part for them in 2020 and during the primary was getting the ballots to match their manufactured machine count. This way, they have everything isolated in the bags.”

Steve Rossiter contributor to Canada Free Press: We have met the enemy and we are theirs.  Who is the enemy?  The enemy of patriotic Americans and the individual states is the United States Federal government.  They now own us.  They have developed a profession career ruling class composed of every corrupt professional politician, every corrupt political staff person, and the corrupt members of every federal bureaucracy. This corrupt system receives unlimited domestic and foreign money to keep this corrupt system running like the well-oiled machine that it is.  The domestic and international moneyed oligarchs own America’s federal government.  America is suffering under the tyranny of a bipartisan ruling class, exacerbated by the Marxist Biden administration.

Sundance founder of The Last Refuge: I’m not sure what to call these multi-week ballot collection contests, but they do not resemble any election that I can reference in any other western nation.  Kari Lake was clearly the superior candidate, and Katie Hobbs is genuinely -no snark- a doofus.  However, in this new ballot collection electioneering process, you can make the argument that candidate quality is essentially irrelevant.

Sundance founder of The Last Refuge:. . . five days after our post-election review of the difference between ballots and votes, and within minutes of the controversial Arizona governor contest being announced by DHS media outlets, suddenly any discussion about “Ballots -vs- Votes” is considered a risk to democracy. The need for control is a reaction to fear.

Joseph Curl contributor to The Daily Wire: The combined age of the top three Democrat leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives is 247. America is 246 years old. Let that sink in. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is 82. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) is 83. And House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) is 82.

Daniel Greenfield contributor to FrontPage Magazine: Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California is poised to become president pro tempore of the Senate, according to long-standing Senate tradition. As a result of her new status as the longest-serving Democratic senator, the 89-year-old lawmaker would be third in line to the presidency, behind the vice president and House Speaker.

Tim Young contributor to American Greatness: As we look ahead to 2024, Republicans cannot underestimate the power that the Democrats have to mobilize their ignorant and complacent voter base. Their anti-Republican and anti-Trump rhetoric has become so strong that not only can a man who probably shouldn’t even be operating a vehicle be elected senator but he can be pushed to be the next president after the term of another mentally disabled president who needs cards directing him to sit in his seat and can’t seem to find his way off of stages. We have reached a point beyond parody, and calling it a “clown world” is a gross understatement.

Justice: Donald Trump Is Running For President Again. Washington Would Be Wise To Remember 2016

Former President Donald Trump launched a third consecutive bid for the White House on Tuesday as elites once again doubt — and try to tank — his prospects. […]  “In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States,” Trump said. “This will not be my campaign. This will be our campaign all together. Because the only force strong enough to defeat the massive corruption we are up against is you, the American people.” […]  Media figures and Beltway influencers should caution themselves, however, from making the same mistakes they did six years ago. Trump might have been a wrecking ball in 2016, but there were still plenty of barriers to wreck. […]  In his announcement on Tuesday, Trump reminded voters how the country had improved under his leadership. He reminded Americans they could afford their gasoline and groceries on the same paycheck, that their southern border was in check, and that they were safe from a nuclear Armageddon, “a concept unimaginable just two years ago.” “China, Russia, Iran, & North Korea were in check. They respected the United States & quite honestly, they respected me,” Trump said. “America’s comeback starts right now.”

JUDICIARY

Bill Melulgun correspondent for Fox News tweeted: BREAKING:  BREAKING: A federal judge has just blocked the use of Title 42 at the border as a result of ACLU litigation. Title 42 allows the U.S. to immediately expel migrants on the basis of public health. It has been used millions of times under both Trump & Biden. T42 is gone, for now. [Note: Judge Emmet Sullivan was appointed by Bill Clinton.]

Adamczyk: Biden’s student debt plan was just blocked again, this time by a federal appeals court. Here’s what happens next

The federal appeals court ruling comes after six conservative states—Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Carolina—filed a lawsuit arguing that Biden’s loan cancellation plan hurts state revenues. The three-judge panel of the appeals court issued a nationwide injunction on the plan, meaning the Biden administration cannot forgive any debt under the program. “The injunction will remain in effect until further order of this court or the Supreme Court of the United States,” the panel of appeals court judges wrote in the ruling.

DC UNIPARTY

Sundance: The Big Club Is Openly Reassembling

When we are intellectually honest with each other, we accept the traditional Republican apparatus has always been in favor of Wall Street interests, multinational corporations, multination trade agreements, offshoring jobs, overseas manufacturing, open borders to provide endless supplies of unskilled service workers to fulfill their affluent needs, and, in the most general sense, economically no different than the traditional Democrat apparatus.   After all, both wings of the DC UniParty feed from the same trough. The counter economic position to this multinational system has always been the America First outlook.  An economic outlook that puts the U.S. worker at the heart of policy. Perhaps encapsulated by saying ‘Main Street over Wall Street’ etc. […]  I have no idea how the pragmatic and angered view of President Trump, with full intent to fracture this UniParty apparatus, is going to play out.  Fighting both enemies simultaneously has proven to be a massive whac-a-mole undertaking. However, that said, what is abundantly clear is the reassembly of the group trying desperately to block the populist upheaval. The Multinational corporations are all-in within the process of this inverted Fascism.

Sundance: The Washington DC UniParty Surfaces in FTX Crypto Exchange Political Contributions

The Senate Leadership Fund is the Political Action Committee (PAC) controlled by Mitch McConnell.  Within the quarterly FEC filings of the Senate Leadership Fund, we discover that in addition to funding Joe Biden and Democrats, the ponzi scheme known as the FTX cryptocurrency exchange was also funding Mitch McConnell with $2.5 million. [Document Source] There is a lot of speculation about U.S. taxpayer funds going to Ukraine, then transferring into the FTX crypto exchange program, then exiting back out with FTX donations to the DC politicians . . .

Hoft: IT BEGINS: Patriots in Arizona Call for a New Legitimate Midterm Election on December 6

Secretary of State Katie Hobbs should have recused herself due to her running for governor in this election but her conflict of interest was ignored. The same people involved in the uncertifiable 2020 Election were also involved in this election.  They too should have been removed. The systems are the same systems with still unanswered questions from the 2020 Election. As a result a group of citizens in Arizona released a statement last night calling for a new election.  They request that this election in the state be held on December 6.

Mittelstadt: Possible recounts loom in Arizona as machine issues marred Election Day

The elections for Arizona attorney general and superintendent of public instruction have yet to be decided, with nearly 2.5 million votes counted, which is estimated to be more than 95% of the total vote. As of Tuesday night, GOP attorney general candidate Abraham Hamadeh was trailing Democrat nominee Kris Mayes by 771 votes, according to the unofficial results reported by the Arizona secretary of state’s office. The percentages of each candidate was 50.0%. In the superintendent race, Republican nominee Tom Horne led Democratic incumbent Kathy Hoffman by 8,576 votes, which is 0.4% of the vote.

Recounts cannot be requested by candidates or members of the public, but rather are triggered if there is less than or equal to half of 1% of the total number of votes between the top two candidates, which is five times greater than the previous threshold of 0.1%, explains the secretary of state’s website. The change occurred after a new law took effect this year, following President Biden’s 0.3% margin of victory over former President Trump in the 2020 election.

{H/T AA) Beanz: Maricopa County Election Judge Speaks Out

Election judge Michele Swinick has come forward to report what she experienced in Maricopa County on Election Day. She worked Election Day as a judge at the Islamic Voting Center in Scottsdale, AZ. She reports that the center is heavily Republican, with “no party” designated voters as the second most populous demographic, followed by very few democrat voters, evidenced by the fact that she checked in very few of them on Election Day. She reports she spent the entire day checking in voters. Swinick says that the tabulators all worked “perfectly” during the test the night before the election. The problem with scanning began immediately with the first ballots. Voters scanned their ballots between 4 and 12 times with very minimal success. Poll workers estimated about 1 in 10 ballots were being read for the first three hours of voting. […]  “In my opinion, the machines were programmed to do this, and it was all planned. The process and narrative, . . .

Adrian Fontes, Maricopa County Recorder from 2016 to 2020, has beat out Mark Finchem in the race for Secretary of State, the Associated Press reports. Fontes served as County Recorder amid claims of fraud in the 2020 election. He ran for re-election but loss to Republican Stephen Richer. In addition the 2020 controversy, Fontes also faced a lawsuit over signature verification in 2018 when he had to open emergency voting centers after a contractor delayed the opening of some polling places.

2022 MIDTERM ELECTION POST MORTEM

Sundance: Another Perspective on Early Voting Laws, 2022 Ballot Collection Electioneering and the 2024 Election Geography

A Twitter user Eurysthenes has put together a well written encapsulation of the modern electioneering challenge contrast against the midterm outcome. [LINK HERE]  Strong, well-written insight is always good to review and consider.  This is no exception. [Kari] Lake fought a strong campaign but was unable to overcome the unprecedented ballot harvesting operation (83% of votes estimated to be Early / Absentee by ABC News) and likely widespread voter fraud and suppression, not to mention her opponent running the election as SoS. This is also the reason why Laxalt was defeated in NV (where 79% of ballots were cast early) and Oz was defeated in PA. No excuse postal voting, ballot harvesting, and / or early voting are also permitted in GA, MI, and even FL.Lake’s defeat means that the Arizona electoral system will continue to function as it has since 2020, and that Republicans will be unable to win any statewide election in the foreseeable future. The same is true of any state where such rules persist. This is my estimation of the current electoral map as it stands. Whilst NV and GA are currently unwinnable, both have GOP governors who could – but may not – change this by 2024. Regardless, the Democrats have now guaranteed victory in 270 EVs worth of States.

McGinnis: The Kids Are Not All Right

The outcome of most enduring concern in Tuesday’s election was the Left’s total victory among the young. About 60 percent of those 18- to 29-years old voted Democratic. The young are generally less likely to vote than other age groups, doubtless in part because they have more interesting uses of their time than the old. But about 30 percent of that demographic showed up, easily enough to be decisive in the close races for the House and Senate, the latter determined by a razor-thin majority in Nevada. It is true that minority youth voted for Democrats in larger proportions than non-minority youth, but Republicans still did less well among younger white voters than older white voters. The profile of the Republican party is aging. As a result, the real “great replacement” Republicans should worry about comes from the grim reaper. If everyone alive in 2024 votes exactly as he did in 2022, it’s very possible that the Republicans will lose the House because of the voters who died in the interim. Add in the younger voters who will have turned 18 by that year, and that loss is even more likely. Worse still for Republicans, evidence suggests that people tend to  . . .[…]  The steps Republicans can take to prevent future losses among the young are relatively clear. Deliver . . .

Purnell: Gen Z Can Do Everything From Home. If That Becomes The Voting Norm, There’s No Going Back

Republicans have raised a host of legitimate concerns about the push to turn Election Day into election month and do away with the in-person voting model for a weeks-long process of disseminating and collecting votes by mail. Mass mail-in balloting increases the opportunities for fraud and ballot curing and harvesting, and it contributes to the ballot-counting fiascos we see in places like Arizona, delaying the determination of winners and undermining voter confidence. But there’s another, under-discussed consequence of the push for a permanent mail-in voting infrastructure: Gen Z is coming of age without knowing anything else. […]  It’s already typical for many young people to cast their first few ballots absentee, if they start voting while they’re in college.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING FOREIGN POLICY

(Biden’s War) McConnell: Ukraine Hawks

The drumbeat for war pounds on with virtually no official opposition. […]  At this writing there will be some at least some new voices in the new Congress—incoming Senator J.D. Vance most notably—who are on record as thinking there are more important uses for American resources than pushing the Russian security establishment up against the wall in the hope that under pressure it submits. But those hoping the election would change the discussion about the Ukraine war inside the Beltway have no reason to be pleased.

Lawler: Biden holds emergency talks with world leaders on Poland explosion

What he’s saying: Biden did not attribute any blame for the explosion, but said in response to a reporter’s question that it was “unlikely” the projectile that caused it was fired from Russia due to its trajectory. Poland’s foreign ministry said earlier in the day that the missile was “Russian-made,” while President Andrzej Sebastian Duda struck a more cautious tone, saying it was “most probably Russian-made” and adding that officials did not know for sure yet who fired it. Ukraine also uses Russian-made missiles, including for air defense.

On Tuesday, Ukraine was hit by dozens missiles from Russia, including ones targeting the capital of Kyiv. There is no evidence the Russian-made missile was launched in an intentional attack, nor is there evidence that the rocket was launched by Russian forces, Duda tweeted. At about the same time, President Biden said that the missile having been fired by Russia was “unlikely.”

Elordi: Michigan School District Removes Pornographic Books After Muslim Community Outrage

Dearborn Public Schools announced Monday it will remove two books, keep one book, and restrict another book to high school students only. […]  Two books are still under review, “All Boys Aren’t Blue” by Jason Reynolds and “This Book is Gay” by Juno Dawson. The books were previously available to students through the ebook service Sora, but the ebook service is currently disabled for students. The district also reviewed “Flamer” by Mike Curato, a graphic novel about a gay boy that includes several sexually explicit scenes. “Flamer” was not part of the initial books challenge from a parent but has been deemed appropriate for high school students and will remain on the shelves. On Monday, a district mother read an extremely sexually explicit passage from “Flamer” at a school board meeting.

CULTURE

Winter: How Conservative Men Can Help Solve The GOP’s Single Women Problem

Last week’s election revealed an ever-deepening divide between the voting preferences of single women and everyone else. Single women broke +37 for Democrats, whereas single men, married men, and married women all favored Republicans. Perhaps “toxic feminism” or “AWFL discourse” is the problem. But whatever the explanation, given the slim margins of the recent election, this is a real issue for Republicans. Such voting trends are problematic yet understandable. Single women who lack the protection and security that a husband or father provides are likely to look elsewhere, such as to government, for the securing of their interests. Increasingly atomized and isolated from family and community, it is understandable that many single women vote for politicians who will help shape society to be more amenable to their natural instincts.

AMERICA: A CAUTIONARY TALE

Ash: Socialized Medicine Is No Cure: Britain’s Broken Benefit System

Winning the hearts and minds of society is arguably easier to achieve by promising hand-outs. Also, especially in the age of rapid communication, emotion sells — a handy method for sneaking political takeovers through the back door. So, when it comes to something as fraught with emotion as medicine, it is difficult to argue the downsides for fear of appearing heartless. This may be a least one reason that socialists seem to think they have the monopoly on altruism. Claiming that conservatives are less compassionate because many basic needs are not offered for free can miss the point. Too often what is offered are words; what is actually ends up being delivered may be sorely lacking — as disillusioned citizens in places such as Venezuela and Cuba have found out the hard way. However, this type of Santa-Clausian virtue-signalling — of providing everything for everyone for free — can be an effective strategy not only to get votes but also to protect the welfare system from the overhaul it so desperately needs but will never get. […]  Over time, as governments began to separate themselves from religion, many responsibilities of the church became transferred to the state. The gradual progression of socialist and Marxist thought, meanwhile, further increased the divide, while at the same time expanding the remit of governmental reach into people’s daily lives. Ever since being rolled out universally in 1945 (1938 in the U.S.), the UK’s welfare system, as it has sought to keep up with its burgeoning population, has kept expanding. Now, however, immigration, changes in the workplace, a massive increase in disability payments (along with what constitutes “disability”), the length of time people remain unemployed and an increasingly bloated bureaucracy have all contributed to breaking the back of an outdated system.

BOOK REVIEW

Only the Strong: Reversing the Left’s Plot to Sabotage American Power by Senator Tom Cotton

Dueck: Peace Through Strength

Senator Cotton, for his part, has little use for the Biden Administration’s foreign policy. As Cotton suggests, the president reads from the script he is given, and in today’s Democratic Party, that script is written by postgraduate urban bicoastal progressives. So, Biden pivots in their direction. The median policy preference of the Democratic Party base—including on U.S. foreign relations—is an excellent guide to whatever Biden happens to believe on any given day. For Cotton, a decorated Army veteran who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as with the Old Brigade at Arlington National Cemetery, whose history he lovingly recounted in his first book, Sacred Duty (2019), the failings of the current White House are personal. As he reminds us, during the summer of 2021 Joe Biden presided over a willfully ill-managed U.S. withdrawal from the Afghan conflict. The Taliban immediately triumphed. Not one of Biden’s presidential appointees was held accountable. That sent a signal to every would-be predator in the global arena that Joe Biden was a soft touch. Vladimir Putin, looking to take advantage, followed with a full-blown invasion of Ukraine. Biden failed to deter that assault. The White House then realized that serial weakness on national security policy might be a problem in more ways than one. […]  Cotton’s central, eye-opening insight in this book is that progressives deliberately hamper U.S. freedom of action in world affairs because they do not trust it. Nor do they really trust the American people, including on foreign policy, whenever the outcomes diverge from left-wing preferences. Instead, progressives trust transnational networks of administrative, legal, and academic experts to promote and implement desirable policies over the heads of elected officials. We know this because they say so. The resulting challenges to American sovereignty are real.
