On Thursday, Trump’s communications aide Margo Martin, who worked in the White House and then moved with Trump to Florida, appeared before the grand jury in Washington, DC. One of special counsel Jack Smith’s senior-most prosecutors was involved in the interview. Martin, who is among a small group of former White House advisers who have remained employed by Trump after he left office, declined to answer any questions when approached by a CNN reporter. A public-private campaign to discredit a mask meta-study by one of the world’s most respected research collaboratives has prompted that organization to mischaracterize the study’s findings, according to doctors, scientists and journalists supporting the lead researcher. […] The 2022 update, composed of 78 randomized controlled trials through COVID, concluded that masks “may” or “probably make little to no difference” in suspected or confirmed flu or COVID infection. It called for “more high-quality RCTs” of the sort public health authorities inexplicably failed to conduct. Published in January in the Cochrane Library, the update immediately drew attacks from prominent proponents of masking. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky minimized the findings before Congress because they were based on RCTs, rather than the uncontrolled observational studies the CDC favors. “No doctor had ever said that in modern existence,” Yale University epidemiologist Harvey Risch told “Just the News, No Noise,” referring to Walensky’s dismissal of RCTs as insufficient evidence, The CDC’s “cherry-picked” mask studies stand in contrast to “more than 150 studies that show that masks are useless for viral respiratory infections” as opposed to, say, “construction dust,” the original purpose of N95 masks, he said.

In addition to ignoring Saudi security concerns about Iran’s escalating nuclear weapons program, Biden also let Iran’s terrorist proxies off the hook. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky) on Thursday released a summary of the first bank records showing how a $3 million payment from a Chinese company came into the United States, was broken up and eventually infused $1.3 million into the accounts of President Joe Biden’s family members.

“Pursuant to a subpoena, the Committee recently obtained financial records related to Mr. John Robinson Walker, a Biden family associate, and his company Robinson Walker, LLC,” Comer’s committee reported in a new memo summarizing its investigative findings. “Prior to issuing the subpoena, the Committee received information that Mr. Walker used his company to transfer money to Biden family members. The bank records proved that information correct,” the report said. The committee said it traced a $3 million payment that was sent from a Chinese company to Walker in March 2017 — just two months after Joe Biden . . .

Therefore, we shouldn’t allow severe, irreversible surgery or sterilizing drugs that they may regret until at least age 18.”

Last week, Assemblymembers Bill Essayli (R-Riverside) and James Gallagher (R-Yuba City) unveiled AB-1314, otherwise known as the “Gender identity: parental notification” bill, which would require school district officials to notify parents within three days in writing if their children identify contrary to their biological sex documented on their official records or birth certificate. “Parents play a critical role in nurturing and supporting children and they cannot be removed from the equation,” Essayli said during a Monday news conference, The Los Angeles Times reported. “Concealing information from parents is not only wrong — it’s dangerous and harmful to the emotional and physical safety of trans minors,” Essayli added, according to ABC7.
