It represents the ultimate weaponization of the Justice Department, a transformation started by President Barack Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder, and completed by Garland, to take out a viable political opponent of Garland’s boss and political patron, President Joe Biden. Nothing more, nothing less.

Trump is charged with four felony counts under three federal statutes—18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 1512, and 241—for supposedly conspiring to defraud the U.S., obstruct an official proceeding, and suppress the right of Americans to vote. Why? It is an opinion, not an actual rendition of facts. There are millions of Americans who continue to have similar doubts, just like Trump, about the 2020 election, and according to Smith’s dubious legal theories, their continued questioning of that outcome makes them liable for criminal indictment.

The federal government is increasingly meddling in and taking control over local law enforcement, threatening the autonomy of local police and leading to a federalized police force. The fiscal 2024 appropriations bills are a great, near-term opportunity for Congress to defund and abolish every federal agency that threatens the independence of local police. Congress is currently working to draft and pass its fiscal 2024 appropriations bills, which must be passed before September 30 to avoid a partial government shutdown. On the House side, one appropriations bill — funding the Department of Veterans Affairs — has been passed so far. The conservative House Freedom Caucus is warning that the remaining bills do not cut federal spending enough, but the GOP House appropriations subcommittee chairs are pushing back, claiming “there’s not a lot of wiggle room left” for further cuts. However, federal spending can be cut significantly more than the House appropriations bills would provide — and one of the most important areas in which to end all spending is federal law enforcement. One of the many ways America is exceptional is that it is the only country whose law enforcement is traditionally completely locally controlled. Every other country has at least some national control over law enforcement. However, this important feature is under attack in the United States. Initiated and led by communists and Marxists, there is an active push to destroy locally controlled police and replace them with a nationalized police force. Even many “conservatives” have been led to support greater federal involvement in law enforcement.

He proposed a bill and not one senator seconded, by orders of the turtle, a slap in the face. Lindsay Graham famously said that if Ted Cruz was murdered in a full session of the Senate, no witness would come forth. Democrats vote in Congress as a bloc. Because of Rinos, this is not the case with Republicans. Eleven Republicans voted with the Democrats on the debt ceiling, 24 voted with Democrats to pass computer chip bill, 9 voted for the Presidential Election Reform Act, 20 voted against censuring Rep. Schiff. A new breed of incumbents in the U.S. Congress is becoming rebellious. In fact, we see that many Republican Congresswomen have got more cojones than their male counterparts. The Backstabbers. China is the focus of U.S. demands from the Saudis. U.S. President Joe Biden’s advisers have presented economic, technological and military demands to the Saudis relating to their burgeoning ties with China. Economically, Biden’s advisers are seeking assurances from the Saudis that they will not replace the U.S. dollar as the currency of exchange in global energy markets. Over the past year and a half, the Saudis have agreed to sell their oil to the Chinese in yuan. The problem with the U.S. position is that it was the Biden administration itself that created the opening for a parallel market for energy sales not tied to the petrodollar.

A new report on reading in Wisconsin shows many schools across the state continue to use reading lessons shown to leave students behind. The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty is out with a new report called Trust the Science? The Use of Outdated Reading Curricula in Wisconsin Schools. It looks at how whole-language reading curricula have performed over the years. “Forward Exam scores show that Wisconsin students are struggling in reading. Currently statewide, only about 36.8% of students scored proficient or higher on the Forward Exam, meaning the majority of students are falling behind.

Reading problems cut across all socioeconomic and racial lines,” the report states.

According to Moderna researchers, the mRNA-1273 shot “did not have any adverse effects on the F0 [injected females] or F1 [their offspring] generations” (Moderna 2020, p. 43). But the data in their report tell a different story.

Adverse effects in the rats who got the mRNA-1273 shot included thinning fur, swollen and partially paralyzed hind legs, weight gain, and abnormal eating patterns (Moderna 2020, pp. 37-38). Perhaps most alarming, the “mean number of [estrous] cycle lengths was statistically significantly higher” (longer) in mRNA-injected females than in the control group, meaning that the drug affected their reproductive systems (Moderna 2020, p. 38; Table 13, p. 67). More evidence of reproductive harms to these rats is found in Table 14 (Moderna 2020, p. 68). Here the data show that only 39 of the 44 mRNA-injected females (88.6%) successfully mated, as compared to 42 of the 44 control group females (95.5%). This is a 7% decrease in mating in the experimental group; but, because the sample size is small, the difference is not statistically significant.

. . . this article is not a movie review, at least not in the usual sense. It is not concerned with the production’s artistic merits or lack thereof. It is an attempt at justice to right a terrible wrong — a series of wrongs, actually — at the heart of, and throughout, this thoroughly dishonest film. Dishonest? How so? For starters, although ostensibly about Oppenheimer and the race for the atom bomb, it quickly becomes apparent that Oppenheimer is above all a political statement, not merely entertainment. It is a morality tale that serves as a vehicle to portray Oppenheimer as a hero and martyr who was ruthlessly persecuted and falsely charged with being a communist merely for being an independent thinker and for merely associating with communists. Even broader, his brother, wife, friends, and colleagues who were communists or fellow travelers are also presented as tragic heroes/martyrs/victims in an era of madness dominated by Senator Joseph McCarthy and J. Edgar Hoover. At the same time, all those who show any alarm about putting communists into the center of our super-secret A-bomb project are depicted by Nolan as idiots, knaves, or worse. Particularly despicable are the nasty and dishonest portrayals of anti-communists such as physicist Edward Teller, Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Lewis L. Strauss, and attorney Roger Robb. Was Oppenheimer a Communist? Unfortunately, Nolan’s Oppenheimer was doomed to become anti-American propaganda from the start, since he based it on the 2005 book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Both authors have long been associated with the far-left magazine The Nation as contributing writers, and Sherwin (now deceased) was a member of the publication’s board of directors.

‘Oppenheimer’ mostly conforms to the Hollywood trope of treating communists as victims To its credit, the film does not completely dismiss this reality, but there are many notes of sympathy. It casts the young communists as overzealous idealists, rather than fanatics who endangered American society and cooperated with a foreign power. Oppenheimer repeatedly suggests that American anti-communism was both extreme and unwarranted, a practice rooted in prejudices commingled with popular anti-Semitism. But the facts point to a real problem. For starters, there sure were a lot of communists in Oppenheimer’s circle, including multiple people on the project, his wife, his brother, his sister-in-law, one of his ex-girlfriends, and numerous friends. And, while portrayed as idealists, these people were communists at the height of Stalin’s rule of the Soviet Union, when it was killing so-called Kulaks by the millions. Even under the intellectual premises of communism, these were people who forgave a great deal of brutality, remaining communists after the assassination of Leon Trotsky and the “liquidation” of the Old Bolsheviks and most of the Red Army’s leadership during the Great Purge.
