It’s rather like the old “military industrial complex,” which was shorthand for the military, private companies, and academia working together to achieve U.S. battlefield dominance, with the R&D funded by the government that buys the final product. But the censorship industrial complex builds algorithms, not bombers. The players aren’t Raytheon and Boeing, but social media companies, tech startups, and universities and their institutes. The foes to be dominated are American citizens whose opinions diverge from government narratives on issues ranging from COVID-19 responses to electoral fraud to transgenderism. When first exposed a few months ago, many of the actors and their media defenders perversely claimed that they, as private entities, were acting out of concern for “democracy” and exercising their own First Amendment rights.

However, the records and correspondence of an advisory committee to an obscure government agency tell a different story.

Waylon Bailey was arrested and charged with felony terrorism in March 2020 for posting a Covid joke to his Facebook page. Bailey’s post was an obvious joke. He even referenced “World War Z,” a 2013 zombie apocalypse movie starring Brad Pitt. […] Within hours, a dozen SWAT officers in bulletproof vests from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office showed up to Bailey’s Alexandria, Lousianna home and arrested him without a warrant. Bailey was arrested and charged with felony terrorism for posting a joke on his Facebook page. He was released on a $1,200 bond and the DA decided not to prosecute him. Still, the news of the arrest upended his life so he decided to pursue legal action against the Sheriff. In September 2020 Bailey filed a lawsuit accusing Detective Randell Iles and Sheriff Mark Wood of violating his First and Fourth Amendment rights. In July 2022, US District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana, David Joseph, dismissed Waylon Bailey’s claims and ruled the Sheriff was protected under qualified immunity which shields government officials from liability unless it can be proven they violated the Constitution. Bailey appealed the judge’s decision and on Friday, the US Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled his Covid joke was indeed protected speech under the First Amendment.

They were immediately incarcerated following the verdict and could face more than a decade in prison for their efforts to prevent women from killing their pre-born babies. In a statement to LifeSiteNews at the courthouse on Tuesday, defendant William Goodman urged his supporters “to forgive the jury, the judge, and all those who witnessed against us, and to pray that they would see how God loves the gift of every human life.” All the defendants were led away and Goodman was handcuffed after the judge determined that the rescuers must be immediately detained pending sentencing since the nature of the FACE Act violation amounted to a “crime of violence.”

Last month, the Supreme Court declined to review a federal appeals court ruling that would grant certain protections to persons suffering from gender dysphoria under the Americans With Disabilities Act. The decision itself will further entrench “gender identity” as the newest protected category under civil rights law, laying the table for numerous infringements of religious and civil liberties for Americans on the other side of this divide. But there is an even more unsettling and revealing aspect of this case: simply by discussing “transgender persons” as if the term had a stable and meaningful referent, conservative and liberal justices alike revealed that they had accepted a fundamental error in reasoning that threatens to undermine the very heart of American justice and America itself. This most recent ruling, as well as previous statements made by both U.S. Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Ketanji Brown Jackson, suggests a subtle yet catastrophic mistaken assumption about how concepts, language, and meaning fundamentally work. The chief error in their reasoning, which persists within the present transgender debate more broadly, hinges on a fundamental equivocation between the concept of “gender” (in the sense of socially-constructed and therefore publicly determined roles, expectations, and norms of behavior) and “gender identity” (in the sense of in-principle privately determined meaning), both equally denoted and often conflated with one another under the same generic canopy term, “gender.”

International scientists have jointly signed a declaration dismissing the existence of a climate crisis and insisting that carbon dioxide is beneficial to Earth, contrary to the popular alarmist narrative. “There is no climate emergency,” the Global Climate Intelligence Group (CLINTEL) said in its World Climate Declaration (pdf), made public in August. “Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. A military whistleblower is going public to warn the American people about a huge spike in cases of heart failure among vaxxed service members. The brave whistleblower has chosen to shun anonymity and identified himself as active-duty Navy Medical Service Corps officer Lt. Ted Macie. Earlier this year, Macie anonymously disclosed data from a Pentagon medical database showing a spike in the rate of myocarditis in the military in 2021. According to Macie, cases of myocarditis skyrocketed after the military mandated COVID-19 vaccines for service members. U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin mandated the vaccines in 2021, a requirement that remained in place until Congress forced its withdrawal in late 2022. […] He has also released new data showing a substantial rise in accidents, assaults, self-harm, and suicide attempts in the military in 2021. The data shows a significant spike compared to the average from 2016 to 2021.

This includes a 147 percent increase in intentional self-harm incidents among service members. There is also a massive 828 percent increase in injuries from assaults. Lt. Macie revealed that he started “keeping an eye on” a defense medical database when another whistleblower alerted him to soaring health-related incidents in the winter of 2021/2022.

The FBI is investigating more than a dozen migrants from Uzbekistan and other countries allowed into the US after they sought asylum at the southern border with Mexico earlier this year, a scramble set off when US intelligence officials found that the migrants traveled with the help of a smuggler with ties to ISIS, according to multiple US officials. While the FBI says no specific ISIS plot has been identified, officials are still working to “identify and assess” all of the individuals who gained entry to the United States, according to a statement from National Security Council spokesman Adrienne Watson. As I noted recently, fads aren’t always harmful things. Nehru jackets, lava lamps, and mood rings may have set you back a few bucks, but that was the extent of it. Some fads, like the various eating disorders that were with us in the 1970s, were recognized as dangerous and treated as mental health problems. Today, though, becoming transsexual is treated simply as a lifestyle decision. But as Jordan Peterson, a clinical psychologist, points out, “Trans is clearly identifiable as a fad, comparable to preceding fads, or ‘transmissible psychological diseases,’ like outbreaks of alleged multiple personality disorder, hysteria, self-mutilation, and anorexia. The typical victim is a young female with an underlying neurosis that seeks a socially acceptable form of expression. These forms of expression vary with the times.” Peterson goes on to say that the current trans fad will be viewed as we now view lobotomies. […] Unlike most fads, the trans variety is being promoted in our government schools, and many of them try to conceal the student’s condition from parents. In fact, as of now, 1,040 school districts across the country have adopted policies instructing or encouraging faculty and staff to keep students’ gender identities a secret from parents, according to Parents Defending Education. Those 1,040 districts include 18,335 schools and a whopping 10,712,558 students. It should come as no surprise that 593 of the districts are in California. […] But if you are a parent who lives in an area where the state guidance on parental disclosure is followed, what can you do?

Korte: California is suing to stop schools from outing trans kids to their parents

State Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a lawsuit Monday to stop a Southern California school district from outing transgender students to their parents, arguing that the policy violates students’ civil and constitutional rights and could cause them “mental emotional, psychological, and potential physical harm.”

Bonta’s suit against the Chino Valley Unified School District is the latest attempt by Democratic state officials to combat the recent adoption of such policies by conservative school boards. The outcome of the case could have bearing on other districts that have enacted similar rules in the last two months, including Murrieta Valley, Temecula and Anderson Union High School.

OMG obtained the recordings through FOIA requests. This is the first in a series of police body cam recordings, James O’Keefe said.

Berenson: VERY URGENT: The mRNA Covid jabs damage immune responses to other viruses in children, a new study finds

Kids who got Pfizer’s mRNA Covid jabs had a weakened immune response to other viruses and bacteria, Australian researchers reported in a study published last week. The diminished response appeared within weeks after the second Pfizer dose, the authors found. Blood taken from the children produced fewer crucial signaling molecules when stimulated with several common potential bacteria and viruses. Over time, the immune response to bacteria returned to normal. But the diminished response to viruses lasted at least six months, for as long as the researchers collected data. “Our study showed that, in children, SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccination decreases inflammatory cytokine responses,” the authors wrote. […] The peer-reviewed journal Frontiers in Immunology published the paper. In keeping with other papers that have reported disturbing findings about the mRNAs, the study’s authors were careful to tiptoe around the potential impact of their data. […] But several physicians who reviewed the study independently for Unreported Truths said they found it very troubling.

Wilson: Chicago TV Crew Mugged While Reporting on Robberies

The two crew members, a reporter and photographer for Univision Chicago, were standing on the street in the city’s Wicker Park neighborhood on Monday when two vehicles pulled up and three masked men with guns took their equipment and belongings, according to USA Today. The identities of the victims have not been released, but police reported that they were not injured. No arrests were made as of Tuesday morning.
