But a new poll out Monday suggests former President Donald Trump can’t get a fair trial in Washington, D.C. in the case his 2024 rival’s Justice Department is pursuing against him over his objections to the last presidential election. According to an Emerson College survey, a majority of Washington D.C. residents, 64 percent, said they would vote in favor of a conviction over the former president’s objections to the 2020 election results. Only 8 percent said they would find Trump innocent, and another 28 percent were unsure. Federal District Court Judge Amit P. Mehta, however, refused to permit Navarro to make the argument in court. Nearly a million legal immigrants became American citizens last year, the third-highest number in history. One angle missing from the news coverage: Every single one of those immigrants was required, as a precondition of citizenship, to get a Covid booster. The Immigration and Nationality Act and related federal regulations were designed from a reasonable public health perspective to require immunization against “vaccine-preventable diseases.” However, this regulation has since been expanded to require immunization with any product recommended by CDC guidance, whether or not it prevents disease at all and regardless of any harm such a requirement could inflict. I refer not only to the harm potentially caused by an experimental injection to its individual recipients but to the harm done to the future of the nation by forcing immigrants to submit to mandates widely understood as unscientific. I’ll admit, this is personal. I have thus far made it to the fall of 2023 without a trace of Pfizer lipid nanoparticles in my circulation. Indeed, in my work as a pediatrician, I consider it a moral duty to speak out against unserious mRNA vaccine studies and to do all I can to protect the children here in my Texas community from Covid vaccine mandates. But the facts haven’t stopped President Biden from encouraging all Americans to get Covid booster shots this fall. Meanwhile, Rosemary Hills Elementary School in Maryland handed out KN95 masks to third graders because more than three students were infected with Covid. At the University of Michigan, students who test Covid-positive still have to leave their dorm (even if in a single room) and isolate themselves in a hotel for five days.

The Average person ate 1200 calories a day, whereas soldiers in Garrison ate 1400 and higher quality food at that, it was a massive education and networking opportunity for people of all classes, and produced bonds that would be necessary for social advancement. Conscription was massively popular and demanded from the population during peacetime, less because they wanted to make sure no one was shirking, and more because they didn’t want lower class people left behind and all the opportunity in the army hoarded by the connected who’d be able to get into a volunteer force. In Britain which had always abhorred conscription and had Whig (proto-libertarian) objections to it… the populace practically rebelled and formed illegal regiments and militias and drilled to participate in martial life… this was a phenomenon across europe and after the treaty of Versailles restricting Germany to a scant 100,000 strong army, the country was flooded with Freikrops, non-government paramilitaries and militias to either advance some political movement or just be part of military life. This was after WW1! Millions of young men had just died as part of regiments many little different than this. And yet there was this much demand from young men to be part of the martial world. This is because the Military and military life was ACTUALLY a good career move, and ACTUALLY formed life long bonds in the early 20th century. Amidst the population boom of the early 20th century and all the excess young men with little inheritance… the military and militia life was a major vehicle for social mobility and aspiration and forming social connections… So what changed? Why is it almost completely the opposite in early 21st century America?

Dozens of exhibits have been admitted as evidence in the ongoing impeachment trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, but by the third day of the trial Thursday, none had been published on the state’s Court of Impeachment website. The court has not disclosed what types of records or evidence are included.

Six witnesses were sworn in as a group Wednesday by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, but none stated their names during the process. Patrick also did not state who they were. Their names, and no other witness names, have been listed on the impeachment website. Throughout the course of the trial so far, when attorneys refer to the exhibits, a copy of it displays on the tablet screens on each state senator’s desk, but there is no large screen for the general public or media to view them, nor is any description given to explain what the exhibit refers to. […] The Center Square asked Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick’s press office and the Secretary of the Senate if and when the information already introduced as a matter of public record will be posted on the Court of Impeachment website and did not receive a response. It was the honking of course that caused some in Ottawa to apparently go mad during the late January to mid February protest of 2022. People claimed the truckers who came to town and parked their rigs on Wellington St. in front of Parliament Hill were honking all night long. As someone who stayed all night long for the protest in the sub-zero temperatures of an Ottawa winter, I can tell you that the truckers did not continue to blast their horns way past midnight. They went to sleep. We heard the usual drivel on Tuesday from the Crown prosecutor, one Tim Radcliffe who had the gall to suggest this trial had nothing at all to do with the political opinions of Lich and Barber but had everything to do with their allegedly dangerous “means.” He claimed their protest was “anything but peaceful.” Well, let’s just stop there for a minute for a realty check.

LGBTQ are, respectively, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer. “I” means “intersex” and “considers sex characteristics beyond sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, and + is “inclusive of people who identify as part of sexual and gender diverse communities, who use additional terminologies.” This ever-increasing aggregation of letters, numbers and symbols comes billed as an acronym. It is actually a construct, in a special kind of way. […] “Trans violent militancy is the current focus of #Antifa,” contends journalist Andy Ngo. “They believe that critics of trans ideology should be silenced, maimed or murdered. Some call for sexual violence against females in particular, as revenge.” A travel advisory would be better suited for places where transifa terror is likely to strike, not places that recognize biological reality.
