It was appalling enough that the gathering even occurred, but to see leaders of major firms, including Apple and Boeing, sitting with their $2,000-a-plate dinners listening with rapt attention to the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) dictator explain, in oblique terms, why he was a direct threat to American and allied interests is proof of the anti-Americanism of this crowd. Xi explained this vision of tyranny, on American soil. If his objectives are realized, they would be the end of American power and of American society. The depth of this depraved anti-Americanism needs to be acknowledged and accountability demanded from the 400. There was a time when Americans, including American business leaders, would have thrown a Communist dictator out on his ear.

The late Maryam Mohammad Yousif Farhat was a microcosm of this filicidal mindset. She had several sons, three of whom were killed engaging in terrorist campaigns against Israel. Not that this troubled Maryam much. Indeed, she helped train her teenage son Muhammed to carry out a suicide attack against an Israeli military school. She called the day she sent him off to die “the best day of my life” and, upon receiving news of his death, yelled “Allahu Akbar!” and handed out chocolates to his friends. At the funeral of her third son, she stated, “I have four sons left. I hope they all become martyrs.” The ethnic Arabs “Palestinians” waging jihad against Israel have no qualms about sacrificing their children. In the woke West, parents also sacrifice their children.

Women have a long, strong history of being the nurturers. We are the ones who have bred grace and dignity. We helped men stand tall. This is a very important role that has been degraded and removed from Western culture in modern times. Women are taking on more masculine roles and pushing men aside. Instead of focusing on family, we’re now focusing on industry. Women are no longer taking care of our own families and raising the next generation with the mentally healthy practices that have served humanity’s greater purpose for time immemorial. Women, in general, are losing their femininity. Kindness, good manners, and being community-involved traits are becoming more rare. It is for this reason that I wrote the book, Reclaiming Femininity: Saving Women’s Traditions & Our Future, because our traditions are being eroded. Instead of passing on recipes, care, and child-rearing tips, we have become a society obsessed with self-care, masculinizing women while we simultaneously vilify masculinity in its natural state. So we have all these women who are performing men’s roles and then wondering why they’re depressed all the time, why they have so much anxiety, and why they’re never happy. It’s very simple, women have a biological desire to nurture, whether they know it or not. […] Women had a strong role in the founding of this nation and throughout its history. But now we’re lost. We are being told to forget and turn away from everything that made us great. It’s unhealthy. It’s incorrect. And it will only bring about more suffering if we cannot find balance.

Prager: ‘America First’? Or ‘America Only’?

I am a strong advocate of America First. Indeed, I believe the citizens of every country should put their country first. The case for doing so is not difficult to make. Just as people should put their family’s well-being first, they should put their country’s well-being first. Just as we would regard parents who put the well-being of others’ families before — or even on par with — the well-being of their own family as defective parents, we should regard people who place other countries’ well-being before that of their own country as defective citizens. Similarly, with rare exceptions (such as in a time of war or when saving another person’s life in an extreme situation), people should first take care of themselves. In this regard, I am guided by two Jewish teachings. One is the basic and well-known principle, stated 2,000 years ago by Hillel, one of the most important thinkers in Jewish history: “If I am not for me, who will be for me?” To paraphrase Hillel: “If Americans are not for America, who will be?” The other Jewish teaching is the Talmudic principle that when deciding to which poor people one should first give charity, “The poor of your own city come first.” The idea of America First accords with both reason and religious morality. However, some prominent conservatives, whom I know and respect, seem to equate “America First” with “America Only.” And that is neither logical, nor moral, nor American.

The law school has said nothing about whether the demonstrators will suffer any consequences. The protest, part of which was captured on video, caused such a ruckus that Menachem Weiss, a third-year law student, left class to see what was going on. Standing beneath a banner that read “ceasefire now,” which had been hung from a second-floor balcony, student protesters used a megaphone to broadcast their demands to the university.

Briniyah Baker, 17, Lenyra Theophile, 16, and Mar’Qel Curtis pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempted manslaughter and will be sentenced to just 20 years. All four defendants had been charged as adults with second-degree murder in connection to the death of 73-year-old Linda Frickey, who was dragged for nearly a block after her arm got stuck in her seatbelt.The teens momentarily stopped the vehicle to open the door and kick the grandmother into the street – after her arm had been severed and clothing torn off. The three teens will serve a minimum of 15 years each. Two of them expressed remorse in court, while one girl’s attorney offered prayers.

Visitors to the People’s Forum in New York City can attend a seminar on Karl Marx, learn about Vladimir Lenin and “the path to revolution,” or help activists organize anti-Israel protests. It’s all made possible by a $12 million donation from Goldman Sachs’s charitable arm. The People’s Forum was the single largest recipient of aid from the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund in 2019, tax filings show. The group received more than the American Friends of Cancer Research, Salvation Army, and Hamilton College—Goldman Sachs chief executive officer David Solomon’s alma mater—combined. The eye-popping donation helped the People’s Forum move to the forefront of far-left politics in New York. And, even affect policy-making. […] Behind the scenes, the marketing arm of the company has been working with former law enforcement officials and public health officials to monitor and influence vaccine policy. Key to this is a drug industry-funded NGO called Public Good Projects. According to documents we have seen, PGP works closely with social media platforms, government agencies and news websites to confront the “root cause of vaccine hesitancy” by rapidly identifying and “shutting down misinformation”. A network of 45,000 healthcare professionals are given talking points “and advice on how to respond when vaccine misinformation goes mainstream”, according to an email from Moderna.

Fink: Surge in Vaccine Lawsuits Forces Biden Admin to Hire More Attorneys

A job posting on LinkedIn from the Department of Justice advertised for a trial attorney to specialize in cases related to the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act. The legislation provides compensation to those injured by certain vaccines. It’s unclear if the attorneys the Biden administration is hiring will be responsible for COVID-19 vaccine claims. COVID-19 vaccines are covered under the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), not the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), according to the Health Resources and Services Administration. Vaccines covered under the VICP include tetanus, measles, mumps and rubella, and polio. […] Unaccustomed to handling a large volume of cases, the program was flooded with more than 12,000 COVID-related claims. Only 32 had been deemed eligible for compensation and 1,129 had been denied as of October, according to Reuters.

Petitioners argued they didn’t have the opportunity to review evidence used against them or engage in other basic practices that would be afforded them in a trial. There are no hearings in CICP cases, and the decision is made by unidentified officials based on what a claimant submits.
