Schwerin was included on at least 54 direct emails with Joe between 2009 and 2017, say Republicans. According to Schwerin’s opening remarks, he maintained that he was ‘not aware of any financial transactions or compensation’ Joe Biden received through his family’s businesses. He also called Republican allegations otherwise ‘preposterous.’ But Republicans say Schwerin’s testimony pokes holes into Biden’s claim that there has always been an ‘absolute wall’ between himself and his family’s business.

A Department of Defense office overseeing special operations invited two terrorism experts to discuss their new book on far-right terrorism in the U.S., screenshots obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.
The invitation appeared to go out via email to “all” staff of SO/LIC, the acronym for the Pentagon’s office overseeing special operations and irregular warfare.
“Serious acts of terrorism have erupted from violent American far-right extremists in recent years, including the 2015 mass murder at a historic Black church in Charleston and the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol,” the book’s synopsis, which was also included in the email, reads.

“God, Guns and Terrorism” opens with a description of an anti-government group in 2020 advocating for the overthrow of the U.S. government, spurred by former President Donald Trump’s social media incitement, a sample of the book on Amazon.com shows. It then describes the “accelerationist” ideology, which the authors say motivates many right-wing anti-government groups, as a “white power strategy to foment violence and chaos as a means to seize power.” The two recently co-authored an editorial arguing that far-right threats of violence in support of the MAGA agenda is splintering the Republican party. GOP support for Trump could inspire a repeat of the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, they said.

Ultimately, despite public schools’ absolute failure to educate children, under the U.S. Constitution, the federal government has no power under Article I, Section VIII, to insert itself into the education of children, something America’s founders believed was the sole duty of parents. If Americans wish to save not only their children but also their nation, there simply must be a complete exodus from public schools.

One Supreme Court decision that reinforces and codifies this government regulation is Chevron U.S.A. v. National Resources Defense Council. The 1984 ruling over a Clean Air Act regulation held that when confronted with ambiguous provisions of federal statutory law, judges must defer to the reasonable interpretations of agency officials over any others. This blank-check approach to the law made it difficult to challenge oppressive regulation and further empowered an already top-heavy bureaucracy. Soon, Chevron became the rule to make all rules. Now, Chevron is being challenged, and it is about time. A Tool of the Political Parties Chevron has been used by both political parties to advance their goals. The Reagan administration used it (some say for the good) to curb leftist judicial activism, trying to block its de-regulatory program. Liberals have used it (most say for bad purposes) to add layers of regulations to laws that promote their leftist ideology. Most recently, Chevron has been used mainly by the Left. What is problematic about this SCOTUS precedent is not just the socialistic regulations but how the coercive power of the State is instrumentalized by the Left to curtail and chill private initiative and free enterprise.

Klaus Schwab was born in Nazi Germany in 1938. Little information is available as to his upbringing – i.e., the degree to which he was educated to believe in Nazi doctrine – but whatever he was taught in his youth, he is, today, one of the most ardent believers in, and proponents of, totalitarian rule.

The term “Nazi” refers to Nationalsozialistisch, or “National Socialism,” and its overall concept was fascism – a concept that encompassed a corporatist economic system, socialist political system and totalitarian rule. Whilst this description may seem rather convoluted, the concept was believed by Wall Street and much of the US government in the 1930s as the way of the future. Countless others were taken on board by both US industry and the government following the war, to educate American industry in German methodology. For many years following the war, Nazi concepts remained under the radar, but in recent years, they’ve become a major force within not only the US, but also US ally states: Canada, Australia, the UK and, most notably, the EU. We may not be, either, in a bit of time — that is, if our pseudo-elites get their way. This conclusion is suggested by a new poll showing that, shockingly, 77 percent of higher-income Americans overall and almost 90 percent of those from “top universities” believe in a strict rationing of gas, meat, and electricity in order to combat “climate change.” In fact, nearly 60 percent of such people believe there’s too much liberty in America even though, objectively speaking, we’re less free than ever. Moreover, in another example of the pseudo-elite vs. street divide, 63 percent of Americans in general oppose the above rationing policy. Reporting on the story, The College Fix writes that the “Committee to Unleash Prosperity [CUP], in a survey that sought to measure the beliefs of ‘elites,’ stated the findings reveal climate change ‘is clearly an obsession of the very rich and highly educated.’” The site also informs: […] So when failed presidential candidate John Edwards said on the campaign trail in 2004 that there are “two Americas,” he was right — just not in the way he thought. CUP illustrates this well, summarizing its findings: […] In fact, with these people having been indoctrinated out of their common sense, coming to mind could be the saying, “Never let your schooling interfere with your education.”

Pope: Biden Admin Rolling Out Stove Regulation After Insisting It’s Not Trying To Ban Gas Stoves

The Department of Energy (DOE) published the final rule in accordance with a court order that requires the agency to publish the rule by the end of January. The administration proposed an aggressive efficiency regulation for stoves in February 2023 and subsequently promised that it is not attempting to ban gas stoves, calling suggestions to the contrary “misinformation.” Compliance with the rules will be required for newly-manufactured products starting in January 2028, according to the DOE. The regulation applies to electric cooktops, gas cooktops, stand-alone electric cooktops, stand-alone gas cooktops and ovens.

[…] The rules are likely to make certain models more expensive up front, but the government contends that the rule will save Americans money on their utility bills in the long run by reducing the amount of energy their stoves use, according to The Washington Post. […] Beyond stoves, the Biden DOE has also sought to impose energy efficiency regulations for items like water heaters, furnaces and pool pump motors. The administration has also spent hundreds of millions of dollars to help state and municipal governments pursue building codes meant to “decarbonize” buildings.

The Republicans on the House Subcommittee on Energy, Climate, and Grid Security say this agreement was developed behind closed doors in consultation with radical environmental groups without any input from actual electricity providers, who are concerned about power reliability should the hydroelectric power be removed from the grid. Rep. Cathy Rodgers, R-Wash., chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, said that the Biden administration had worked for two years in secret with a select group of stakeholders in order to settle decades-long litigation on the issue of the dams’ impact on salmon populations in the Columbia River basin. “The agreement was released last month, and I am deeply concerned. It advances efforts to remove the four Lower Snake River dams,” Rodgers said. […] Rep. Diana DeGrett, D-Colo., asked for a hearing that didn’t rely on “misinformation and fear mongering.” The agreement, she said, is not a plan to remove the four dams. […] “The people whose job is to keep the lights on were kept in the dark,” Matheson said. At the hearing, Rep. Rodgers held up a stack of paper she said was a collection of letters by 40 individuals and organizations who were not included in the final months of the agreement negotiations. “This process was never about getting results for endangered salmon. It was a reckless pursuit of an activist agenda,” Rodgers said.

Biden’s Inflation Increase Act intends to spend $7.5 billion taxpayer money to build charging stations for electric car owners. Two years later, no EV chargers were built. And that’s good. The modern sheen of the electric car is running into the medieval state of American cities. Seattle began installing dozens of EV chargers only for thieves to show up and raid at least eight of the charging cables for copper requiring thousands of dollars worth of repairs. In response, the city is planning to put the chargers high up on poles that can only be lowered by an app. This will cost even more money and in an environment in which brazen copper thieves toppled an FM radio tower in Oklahoma, isn’t likely to deter the criminals. EV owners who suffered from copper theft while leaving their cars to be charged in public places were told by the Seattle Police Department to “stay with the vehicle if you can while it’s being charged,” Considering that it can take an electric car hours to charge, that’s gonna be a wait.

The Homeland Security Committee debated all day Tuesday and well into the night to recommend two articles of impeachment against Mayorkas to the full House as border security becomes a top 2024 election issue. It’s a rare charge against a Cabinet official unseen in nearly 150 years, as Republicans make GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump‘s hard-line deportation approach to immigration their own. […] The impeachment articles charge that Mayorkas ‘refused to comply with Federal immigration laws’ amid a record surge of migrants and that he has ‘breached the public trust’ in his claims to Congress that the US-Mexico border is secure.

Members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs heard expert testimony on Tuesday about the links between Hamas and the primary U.N. aid organization for the Palestinians in Gaza. […] U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken called the allegations “highly, highly credible” on Monday, but Richard Goldberg, a senior advisor at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told members of Congress on Tuesday that the allegations are merely the tip of the iceberg. “UNRWA is a horror show that is decades in the making, co-produced by the U.S. taxpayer,” Goldberg testified, during a hearing that ran about three hours and, initially, was disrupted frequently by protesters. “Terrorism support and subsidy, for UNRWA, is a feature not a bug.” At the hearing, the Democratic witness, Mara Rudman, a University of Virginia professor and former official in the Obama and Clinton administrations, was asked about reports that as many as 15% of UNRWA employees in Gaza might be members of Hamas and other terror groups. Rudman testified that those figures likely reflect wider Gazan support for terrorism. […] Republicans on the committee generally signaled that they would support ending U.S. funding to UNRWA permanently. But many Democrats said they only support the Biden administration’s funding pause on a temporary basis and would like to see Palestinian aid restored as soon as possible.

Singh: House Passes Bill To Slap Major Criminal Penalties On Migrants And Smugglers Who Flee Border Patrol

Criminal cartels linked to the cross-border drug trade have invested heavily in efforts to illegally smuggle foreign nationals seeking to live in the United States across the southern border, with their operatives, known as “coyotes,” often directing migrants into the interior of the country and leading to U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) pursuits. On Tuesday, the House passed a bill to target such conduct, which has previously resulted in injuries and deaths of USBP agents. The bill was passed by a vote of 271 yeas to 154 nays, with many Democrats voting in favor. It was principally sponsored by Republican Rep. Juan Ciscomani of Arizona, whose district includes a portion of the international border with Mexico, and is named the “Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act” for a USBP agent who, in 2022, died in the line of duty while pursuing migrants on an all-terrain-vehicle (ATV). […] The bill creates a new federal criminal offense for intentionally fleeing USBP within 100 miles of the international border, subject to imprisonment of up to two years. If a subject’s flight results in serious bodily injury or death, the penalties increase to a maximum of 20 years or life in prison, respectively.

These initial reservations, the first of many to be made in the coming months, include $27 million in Montana and $36 million in Nevada, according to plans shared first with POLITICO. The ads will begin airing later this summer to aid the reelections of Sens. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) and Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.). […] Montana and Nevada are two states crucial to defending Democrats’ narrow Senate majority. Senate Majority PAC is placing reservations early in markets where TV ad space will disappear quickly, locking in both air time and lower rates.

Simonson: White House Hosted ‘Indigenous Knowledge’ Lecture in Egypt

The Biden administration hosted a lecture in Egypt on the virtues of “indigenous knowledge,” a pseudoscientific theory that posits Native Americans possess secret wisdom solely by virtue of their ethnicity, according to internal documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The November 2022 lecture took place at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, and featured Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, a Chadian activist. Nobel: Systemic Racism Is Bogus

Starting with Obama and Trayvon Martin, and continuing through the George Floyd Riots and the summer of Black Lives Matter, it has become an article of faith among Democrats in particular, that the US suffers from what they call “systemic racism.” The concept is often asserted, but rarely with evidence or documentation. Ironically, much of this started just as the nation elected its first Black President, which on its face, would seem to disprove the theory. Rather than using his half-white/half-black origin, Obama went about making racial matters worse rather than using his position to make things better. The argument is made that because white citizens have a somewhat higher income than blacks, blacks commit more crime, do worse in school, and have more broken families, this is prima facia evidence of racism, white privilege, and discrimination.

Richards: Border Patrol facing loss of agents from retirement, flat recruitment as border crisis intensifies

The nearly 10,000 border patrol agents eligible for retirement by 2028 and static recruitment numbers threaten to undermine future efforts to secure the Southern border, even as the current immigration crisis escalates. By 2028, a total of 9,828 current border patrol agents will be eligible for retirement, according to numbers provided to Transport Dive by a Customs and Border Protection official. The agency, which has been plagued by a recruitment shortfalls for years, says it is preparing to deal with the fallout if even a fraction of the eligible agents retire on schedule. Agency policy requires a border patrol officer to retire when he or she reaches 57 years of age and has 20 years of Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) service, according to the agency’s website. Customs and Border Patrol did not share the size of this cohort with Just the News after inquiries, but did share the agency’s work to improve recruitment numbers.

Krista, who is Jennifer’s step mother, and the girl’s biological father, Todd Kolstad, said Jennifer had a tough upbringing and several undiagnosed mental health concerns, including attention-seeking behavior and lying, which they believe caused the urge to transition and were overlooked by social services. Krista told DailyMail.com: ‘It’s been horrible […] Our family unit will never be the same. Even if they returned our daughter to us now, you’re not going to have the same family unit […] it’s created a lot of animosity on Jennifer’s part towards us, she doesn’t believe she has to listen to us as her parents anymore.’ […] It comes as a family in Indiana has asked the US Supreme Court to review their lost custody case. Jeremy and Mary Cox, who are evangelical Christians, lost custody of their son in June 2021 after they refused, for religious reasons, for him to start identifying as a girl. California mom Abigail Martinez, has filed a document offering support of Mr and Mrs Cox. Ms Martinez lost custody of her teenage daughter, Yaeli, in 2016, who was put on testosterone and later died by suicide.

[…] The carjacker went on a spree that spanned both Washington DC and Maryland and left at least one man dead, in addition to Gill’s injuries. Over an hour after the shooting that involved Gill, he unsuccessfully tried to carjack someone in the 1000 block of Third Street NE at around 7:05 p.m. Just ten minutes later, the suspect made a third unsuccessful attempt to carjack a vehicle on Third Street NE, before taking the car of a person he shot, in this case fatally. […] Carjackings have been a massive problem in the nation’s capital under Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser, nearly doubling to 959 in 2023 alone, per Axios. The numbers become even more stark when compared to 2018, when there were just 148 carjackings.

Citing crime and robberies of workers, Kaiser Permanente directed its employees at its downtown Oakland headquarters to stay in their buildings for lunch. Kaiser is the fourth-largest healthcare provider in the United States and the largest private employer in Oakland. Earlier this month In-N-Out announced it would be shutting down its profitable Oakland location due to crime against customers and employees, in its first-ever closure. In a statement to Fox KTVU, which first reported on the story, Kaiser said, “Those recommendations remain in place for now. The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) are two preeminent national organizations representing kidney patients and their treatment providers. In 2020, the NKF/ASN formed a Task Force on Reassessing the Inclusion of Race in Diagnosing Kidney Disease, because “recent calls for social justice reform have galvanized segments of the medical community into further discourse and action toward achieving greater health care equity, including the assertion of race as a social, nonbiological, construct.” They decided to remove race from the formula for estimating GFR. Their decision was driven not by scientific discussions on the clinical utility of self-identified race, but rather by the statistically irrelevant claim that “race” had no biological basis. The exclusion of race appears to have been a preconceived, agenda-driven choice and not the consequence of rigorous statistical evaluation. Excluding the race coefficient produced a statistical bias that promotes CKD diagnosis in low-risk blacks at the cost of restricting diagnosis in non-blacks. What’s more, the task force ignored their charge to ensure the estimates would: 1) Be “based on rigorous science” (but no such evidence was ever presented), 2) provide an “unbiased assessment” of kidney function (which turned out to be admittedly biased), and 3) not disproportionately affect any one group of individuals (even though it leaves non-blacks medically disadvantaged).

There are simply too many of these anecdotes from credible people for the COVID vaccine to be safe.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has just published a study claiming that Covid and stress are to blame for the unprecedented soaring numbers of sudden heart failure-related deaths that have been recorded since 2021. Researchers from Democrat President Joe Biden’s CDC teamed up with the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine for the study. In a research article on their study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, the researchers blamed the pandemic-era rise in the U.S. cardiovascular disease death rate on disruptions in access to healthcare, stress, and the lingering effects of COVID-19. The article’s authors confirmed the “significant uptick in the cardiovascular disease death rate.” The researchers also note that the trend “reverses improvements achieved in the decade before the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Rather, Lenin understood that having direct control over the intellectuals of his time would grant expert justification for many of his policies that were in pursuit of crafting a transcendent government. That required seizing control of educational institutions in order to craft a new type of citizen, one that would support the Communist Party and help build a radically different country. To maintain their grip on power, Communist regimes focused on projecting facades of success to hide the incompetence, poverty, and repression that characterized their rule. Communist regimes became synonymous with deception […] Lenin’s comrade Leon Trotsky described the ideal society of the Communist Party as, “bright green strips of grass, clear blue sky and sunlight everywhere. Life is beautiful.” Lenin understood that breaking old habits and engineering a new culture would be the bedrock that a Socialist country would be built on. In order to do so, children and young adults needed to be reshaped in the mold of Lenin’s New Soviet Man, so that every individual would “habitually work for the collective good.” […] While this creation of a New American Man is ongoing and not all-encompassing of American society as of yet, the marked differences between liberals of the younger generation and the older generation prove that the process is ongoing and becoming increasingly effective. Indeed, many in the younger generation want the government to take even more aggressive action in addressing societal problems. Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday called for the House to expel Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar over a footage of her speaking in Somali in which she allegedly promised to prioritize the interests of Mogadishu and backed the territorial aspirations of the Somali government. “Expel from Congress, denaturalize and deport!” DeSantis posted on X, resharing the video footage. The original video was posted by the account of the Ambassador at Large of the Republic of Somaliland and included a translation of Omar’s remarks, the interpretation of which Omar has disputed.
