Cassie Smedile Executive Director for @Americarising tweeted: Jen Psaki spins out of Hyde Amdt. & Mexico City question by saying Pres. Biden is a “devout Catholic”. Either Pres. Biden is about to be a very pro-Life President or Jen Psaki (and basically everyone else) needs to stop referring to him as a “devout Catholic”.

Daniel Greenfield contributor to FrontPage Magazine wrote: Biden isn’t a charismatic leader. He isn’t moving the cause forward. He’s a placeholder for a ruling class that wants homes in Dupont Circle that it buys by selling out America to China, by ruining our economy with environmental consulting gigs and racial contract quotas, and for all the manifold ways which the swamp is coming back as Biden’s wetlands restoration project.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) in a tweet regarding President Biden’s priorities: Who this agenda helps: Paris Agreement -> China, European diplomats Cancel Keystone -> Russian oligarchs No wall -> illegal immigrants Working class American priorities, small businesses reopening and recovering….nowhere to be found.

Rodriguez: Nancy Pelosi: Donald Trump Could Be ‘Accessory to Murder’ After Capitol Riots
In an MSNBC interview that aired Tuesday night, the House speaker accused Trump of inciting the deadly riot at the Capitol on January 6, which left at least five people dead including a U.S. Capitol Police officer. […] “When we talk about, ‘Did any of our colleagues collaborate?’ Well, that remains to be seen,” Pelosi said.

Bois: THR Op-Ed Urges Hollywood To Create More Anti-Trump Films
Now that President Trump has left the White House and the Joe Biden administration begins, progressives are scrambling to ensure that Trump and his movement never rise to political prominence again. In an op-ed for The Hollywood Reporter, writer Alan Jenkins argued that Hollywood, which has already been putting out anti-Trump content, needs to produce more movies and TV shows cautioning Americans about the rise of totalitarianism. “At important moments in our history, Hollywood has helped Americans understand the meaning and gravity of threats to our democratic principles. Green: Welcome to the Harris presidency!
Congratulations, President Harris (pronouns: she/her)! At last, the United States of Mutual Loathing will lead the world by having a female president, just like lots of other countries managed decades ago, and without making a dumb fuss or giving a patronizing lecture. And thank you, Joe Biden (pronouns: he/c’mon man), for accepting the presidency on Kamala’s behalf on the kind of raw day when you should be indoors with a tartan blanket on your legs and the remote in your hand. And thank you to our new surgeon-general, Dr Jill, for propping him up, making sure he stayed awake, and reminding him not to sniff Lady Gaga’s hair. This inauguration looked less like Joe Biden’s big day than a dress rehearsal for his state funeral. The elderly audience was spaced like the crowd on the bleachers of a failing minor-league team. The speeches, with Amy Klobuchar emceeing with the gravitas of a principal at PTA night, sounded like a motivational lecture from a parallel universe. The turns, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, were a senior’s idea of what the kids would like. Both comported themselves with MILF-like dignity. So did Doug Emhoff, who appeared to be wearing an outsized PVC bondage mask.Administrations are meant to look exhausted on their way out, not their way in.

(1/20/21) Kassam: Not An ‘Administration’. A Regime
At noon today the scenes on Capitol Hill were arguably no different to those we saw on January 6th: a desecration of the Republic. This time, by a humiliating scene of an empty National Mall, and a handful of people who stole an election in the dead of night. Much is made of the phrase “peaceful transition of power,” but this was no peaceful transition. A stolen election doesn’t equal a peaceful transition. Another phony impeachment doesn’t equal a peaceful transition. And 30,000 troops doesn’t equal a peaceful transition. In reality, this was not an inauguration in the same way that there was never really an election. An election requires that certain rules are followed. They were not. An inauguration requires a valid result. There was none.

Ring: How Libertarians Aid and Abet Oligarchy
The list of reasons Donald Trump is no longer president of the United States is endless. In a close election, any significant factor could be cited as the proximate cause of defeat. And in the years and months leading up to November 2020, there were a great many causes. Nonstop harassment by a Democratic House of Representatives and Democratic operatives embedded in federal agencies; an unbroken four-year streak of media mudslinging; partisan censorship by online communications monopolies; opportunistic laws, court rulings and administrative edicts designed to boost the Democrats’ voting edge; billions of dollars in partisan donations specifically targeting voters in Democrat-heavy cities in swing states. Fraud, too? Sure. But the election was rigged with or without fraud. The presence of a libertarian presidential candidate? Also yes—though difficult to prove. When it comes to the loss of GOP control of the U.S. Senate, however, one single event stands out from the pack. Without question, the candidacy of Libertarian candidate Shane Hazel threw the battle between Republican David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff into a runoff. It might be true that Perdue could have won his runoff if various external events hadn’t affected turnout on January 5, but that’s beside the point. If Hazel hadn’t been a spoiler in November, there would have been no runoff for Perdue to lose. […] In an article published at Reason shortly after the November election, responding to criticism over the fact that his candidacy forced a runoff, Hazel said, “Give me your tears. They are delicious.” Was Hazel fully aware of what he was saying? Did he understand the full impact of what he’d done?

Davidson: John Brennan: Biden Intelligence Agencies To Investigate Pro-Trump ‘Bigots’ And ‘Libertarians’
Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan said federal intelligence agencies’ top priority, under the leadership of President Joe Biden, is seeking to root out people in pro-Trump “insurgency” groups filled with “white supremacists.”
“I know, looking forward, that the members of the Biden team who have been nominated or have been appointed are now moving in laser-like fashion, to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements that we’ve seen overseas, where they germinate in different parts of the country and they gain strength, and it brings together an unholy alliance frequently of religious extremists — so authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, and even libertarians,” Brennan said on MSNBC.

OAN Newsroom: Biden To Focus On Domestic Terror, Possibly Targeting Trump Supporters
According to reports this week, Biden transition officials and his incoming national security team are seeking to shift government resources for counter-terrorism to fight domestic threats. During Senate confirmation hearings Tuesday, Biden’s nominee for director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, said she would draft a public report of the conspiracy theory QAnon, which has been labeled by the mainstream media as a “cult” and part of the fuel that led to the January 6 violence. If she is confirmed as the nation’s top intelligence chief, Haines promised to work with federal law enforcement agencies conducting these political probes. […] This new Biden terror agenda is being slammed by conservatives who fear this is an effort to target the Trump base.
