NOTABLE QUOTES
David Horowitz Frontpage Magazine editor: Today’s Democrat leaders have traduced the Constitution, and betrayed our citizens and the country they love to murderous enemies. Patriots need to stop pussy-footing around this treason and call it by its right name. Impeach Biden, Harris, Pelosi and the Joint Chiefs for treason. Only when that happens will a recovery from this nightmare appear on the horizon. You call it treason.
Julie Kelly contributor to American Greatness: Bush, the Cheney family, the McCain family, and other backers of America’s costly “War on Terror” seek the approbation of their one-time enemies at the expense of those who heeded their calls to defend the country. These masters of deflection, desperate to memoryhole their own failures, crassly join the Democrats in weaponizing the events of January 6.
1947 Nuremberg Code: The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision.
Dennis Prager: Those who seek to control others and those who seek to be controlled by others would seem to be on opposite ends of the political spectrum. But they are not. Both groups are overwhelmingly populated by individuals on the left.
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL.): “If a government agency in the state of Florida forces a vaccine as a condition to employment, that violates Florida law and you will pay”…
The AMA’s Code of Medical Ethics Opinion 1.1.2: states that doctors cannot decline services based on infectious disease status, race, gender, or any other characteristics irrelevant to needed care. Doctors are allowed to deny patients for other reasons so long as they are not seeking emergency care.
Sundance contributor to The Last Refuge: The AMA, the largest medical governing body, is now taking the political position that the unvaccinated are a risk to the vaccinated?
Issues & Insights Editorial Board: According to Psychology Today, one of the seven steps to becoming a dictator is to “get rid of your political enemies.” No, we don’t expect the White House to disappear a group of Republican governors. But the president clearly wants to remove them as a threat to his agenda, which includes several of the other steps to a achieving “a prolonged iron rule,” such as currying “favor by providing public goods efficiently and generously,” creating and defeating a common enemy (the coronavirus), and accumulating “power by manipulating the hearts and minds of your citizens.”
Victor Davis Hanson contributor to American Greatness: Start with the idea that “wokeness” is an ideology divorced from reality. Nearly all of its premises are complete distortions.
Victor Davis Hanson contributor to American Greatness: . . .what is truly evil is the current woke trademark of loud privileged whites who scapegoat the losers in the globalist game as racist (or in the Obama-Hillary Clinton-Biden patois of “clingers,” “deplorables,” “irredeemables,” “dregs,” “chumps”), mostly out of elite condescension, virtue-signaling guilt, and pathetic contextualizing their own privilege by projecting their unearned status onto supposedly distant cultural losers.
Glenn Arbery President of Wyoming Catholic College: If I had to speculate about why more young men are succumbing to nihilism in the culture at large, I would guess that our curriculum has something to say about it. Perhaps young men feel dishonored when the prevailing feminist ideologies that they encounter in their classes at most universities belittle their masculinity instead of giving their best energies honor and discipline and direction. The great tradition of the West can give them that discipline.

BEHIND THE DEEP STATE
Dagenhart: Revolver Investigation: “Two Faces of Fauci” — The Structure of the Pseudo-Scientific Covid Revolution
Nearly two decades ago, a well-known figure gazed into one of C-SPAN’s cameras to answer a question during a live call-in program. “[Y]ou can’t control people’s behavior, but what you can do is you can educate, and you can try to modify behavior,” the figure advised. “[T]he only way you can do that effectively is to create an environment in which you don’t force people who are the subjects or the targets of your education and behavioral modification . . . underground.” “You’ve got to create a situation where people understand that they’re not going to be stigmatized, that they’re not going to lose their human rights when they find out they’re infected,” the figure argued. However, “[i]f you make your education in an environment of oppressiveness, you’re not going to get to the people that you need to get to.” The key is “[n]ot oppressing or forcing people to do things because it doesn’t work that way.”
Dr. Anthony Fauci wasn’t quoting a monologue from Atlas Shrugged during his July 2002 appearance on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal. The future “America’s Doctor” was trying to answer a caller’s question about the link between behavior, including bathhouse sex, and the spread of AIDS. The caller wanted to know “how we can control the behavior of people in foreign countries when we can’t control the behavior in our country.” Fauci flatly rejected the notion of controlling people’s behavior and invoked human rights and individual autonomy. Given his support for shuttering houses of worship, closing businesses, banning mass gatherings, mandating masks, and other government edicts to control COVID-19, Fauci’s 2002 views on behavior and AIDS are curious to say the least. What happened?

Patteson: DOJ reveals federal program to monitor police departments
On Monday, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced 19 actions the department will be taking when monitoring police departments, saying that despite the existing tools the Department of Justice is already using, more is needed. “The department has found that – while consent decrees and monitorships are important tools to increase transparency and accountability – the department can and should do more to improve their efficiency and efficacy,” Garland said in a statement. “The Associate Attorney General has recommended – and I have accepted – a set of 19 actions that the department will take to address those concerns.” The new series of actions comes from a list of recommendations from Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta, who did a review of the use of monitors by speaking with state and local law enforcement.

Kelly: Bush Denigrates ‘War on Terror’ Veterans
On September 11, 2001, Flight 93 reportedly was headed for Washington, D.C. when Americans attempted but failed to overcome Islamic terrorists who planned to use the hijacked plane as a missile against the U.S. Capitol building. The plane crashed in a field outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Twenty years later, George W. Bush stood on that same ground and compared patriotic Americans at the U.S. Capitol protesting a hijacked presidential election to the Islamic terrorists who murdered nearly 3,000 innocent people on 9/11. Bush’s “War on Terror” came full circle, realizing the worst fears of his legion of haters from the time—the same people now praising his “courage” in confronting imaginary domestic terrorists. “[W]e have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders but from violence that gathers within,” Bush said Saturday. “There’s little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. But in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard of human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit, and it is our continuing duty to confront them.” […] Nope. The former president wasn’t talking about Antifa or Black Lives Matter. […] Who exactly does George W. Bush consider a “domestic terrorist”? At least 50 veterans so far have been charged in the Justice Department’s Capitol breach investigation; it’s impossible to know how many veterans of the two major wars launched by George W. Bush attended the rallies on January 6.

York: George W. Bush’s dreadful 9/11 speech
The only president who delivered a formal speech on 9/11 was former President George W. Bush. And it was terrible. […] Bush showed an astonishing lack of self-awareness of the role his own actions played in creating those divisions. And second, Bush helped widen those divisions by endorsing a Rachel Maddow-esque argument that an equivalence exists between the plane-hijacking, murderous terrorists of Sept. 11, 2001, and the Capitol rioters of Jan. 6, 2021 — a comparison that has no basis in fact but has done much to sour the national debate.

ELECTION FRAUD
Mirengoff: A NEW FORM OF VOTER FRAUD IN CALIFORNIA?
Mail-in voting is fraught with the danger of fraud. The obvious danger is that ineligible voters will cast ballots or have ballots cast in their name. But now comes word from California that eligible voters are in danger of not being able to vote in person on the pretext that they have already voted. And guess what. It appears, anecdotally, that the voters who showed up to vote in the recall election but were turned away are Republicans. KTLA, a Los Angeles outlet, reports on this development at a polling station in the West San Fernando Valley. You can watch that report here.

Hauf: Doctors, Ethicists Blast Colleagues Who Threaten To Withhold Treatment From Unvaxxed
A growing number of doctors have threatened to withhold treatment from the unvaccinated, sparking backlash from doctors and bioethicists who say such sentiments violate the Hippocratic Oath. Those critics are even more troubled by the silence from professional organizations tasked with upholding medical ethics. Doctors in Tennessee, Florida, and Alabama have announced they will refuse to treat unvaccinated patients, while Dallas hospital workers reportedly discussed considering vaccinated status when delegating ICU beds. Such comments have infuriated top medical professionals. Dr. Brian Callister, governor of the Nevada chapter of the American College for Physicians, said doctors should never blatantly refuse to treat unvaccinated patients who are otherwise willing to comply with the rules set out by the practice. “It is absolutely unethical, period, end of story, to not treat a patient in need,” Callister told the Washington Free Beacon. “It is absurd and amoral for any physician to say they will not treat unvaccinated patients.”

Sundance: American Medical Bureaucracy, Including AMA, Increase Threats Against Doctors Who Do Not Comply With Forced Vaccination Position
“Nice license you’ve got there Doc, it’d be a shame if something happened to it”… That is the overwhelming threat message coming from the regulatory boards of the American medical establishment to all doctors operating in the U.S. The professional threats have increased in direct proportion to the tone of threat from the White House. The threats are intended to maintain the fear narrative behind COVID-19, and push all medical healthcare providers to carry only one acceptable opinion. Before getting to the American Medical Association (AMA) statements and guidance, let’s first look at some of the threats from the specialty fields in the system. Look at the last paragraph of this notification letter from the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM): (Source) […] The ABEM specialty portal contains a link for people within the emergency room healthcare field to “report a violation” of the approved messaging. Should an emergency room physician or healthcare provider (ie. nurse) make any statement that contradicts the governing authority, they will have their certification revoked. Think about that. Also, keep in mind these are threats that only pertain to the delivery of healthcare in the United States, and the position of forced vaccination in America. […] If the direct threats against U.S. Doctors were not enough, a COVID watchdog group recently noted: “It appears that the Prep Act had been amended such that private hospitals and entities were covered in their actions taken with Covid-19 patients and relieved of all liability as long as they were prescribing ‘Covered Countermeasures’. ie. NIH approved medications. This may be why hospitals are refusing to use effective COVID treatments like vitamin D, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, etc” (link)

Kaji: Fauci says he ‘would support’ mandating COVID-19 vaccine for air travel
“I would support that,” Dr. Fauci told The Skimm podcast on Friday. “If you want to get on a plane and travel with other people … you should be vaccinated.” He did not specify in the podcast interview whether the vaccine mandate he supports would just be for travelers over the age of 12 or all travelers.

Sundance: COVID Data, Facts Not Fear
Twitter user Jason Bailey [LINK HERE] has done a deep dive into the latest CDC data on SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). There is obviously a lot of noise amid the competing COVID narratives as politicians and media are intent on weaponizing the fear for maximum political value. Baily provides the links and just looks at the raw data. CDC COVID Data Here – and Spreadsheets in pdf format ARE HEREWe know that much of the raw data underlying the CDC statistics are inflated by the way the data is collected and manipulated by the hospitals and healthcare system. However, that said, if we just accept the raw CDC data and evaluate what they are collecting as a way to estimate the risks. Here’s the outcome.
♦ Facts as of 9/4/21: TOTAL CASES (US): 40,048,255 TOTAL DEATHS (US): 643,858 ♦ DEATHS BY AGE: . . . ♦ TOTAL DEATHS account for 1.6% of total cases. . . . […] Why is COVID-19 being disproportionately hyped as such a dangerous threat, when the reality of the statistical danger is much less than the intense level of hype?…

Phillips: FDA Leaders, Other Scientists Say Most People Don’t Need Vaccine Boosters
An international group of vaccine experts, including officials from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and World Health Organization (WHO), said that there is no evidence to suggest that the general population needs COVID-19 vaccine booster shots. The authors warned that if booster shots are introduced too soon, they may cause more side effects in the general population, including myocarditis or Guillain-Barre syndrome. Should that occur, the researchers said, it would create even more problems with vaccine acceptance in the general population. The paper was published Monday in The Lancet medical journal and was co-authored by Marion Gruber and Phil Krause, two top FDA officials in charge of regulating and approving vaccines. Both Gruber and Krause are slated to depart the FDA in the coming weeks, the agency confirmed about two weeks ago.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING FOREIGN POLICY
Bahrami: What Should the World Expect of Gifting Afghanistan to Fundamentalists?
The team that assisted former President Barack Obama to destabilize the Middle East in Syria, Libya and Yemen, the instability of Egypt, the surrender of Iraq to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the annexation of Crimea to Russia, apparently wishes to go the same route in Central Asia by gifting this strategic region to Shi’ite and Sunni Islamic fundamentalists. The election of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris may be giving onlookers around the world a sinking feeling that we could see the same collapse happen again in Afghanistan and, as the Kabul airport suicide attack signalled, that Afghanistan has again become a center for narcotics, violence, terror and hostage-taking. […] Reports have also begun questioning if Biden’s surrender of Afghanistan with not a trace of resistance, might have been deliberate in view of China’s “investment” of $1.5 billion in Biden’s son, Hunter, when Biden was vice-president, as well as for possible future returns.

CHINA AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY
Greenfield: Communist China Sustainably Humiliates John Kerry
John Kerry, Biden’s climate czar, boarded a jet that emits more than every car you’ve ever owned in your lifetime, and jetted off to Tianjin, China for the latest UN Climate Conference. Tianjin is a Chinese port city with air quality that could kill a crocodile. It’s got smog, smoke, and some years ago hosted a massive fireball that killed and injured almost 1,000 people. A hellhole where the authorities have to tell women and children to stay indoors because the air is that bad was the perfect place for the Communist regime to show off its commitment to the environment. And to sustainably humiliate John Kerry before dropping him into a giant compost heap. Humiliating John Kerry has been a popular sport in Asia since before the Beatles broke up, and since then it’s been taken up by Latin America, the Middle East, and Russia, and many parts of the planet. But Asian Communists were the first to get started and they’re still the best at it. […] How did the Communists treat Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy on Climate? They took him as a virtual P.O.W. and subjected him to struggle sessions denouncing America. At the end of it all, Kerry could only mumble, . . .

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING THE U.S. MILITARY
(H/T DG) Maloney: American soldiers today: Lions led by donkeys
The phrase “Lions led by donkeys” has an ancient provenance but is most associated with World War I, where it so aptly described the appalling contrast between the astounding bravery of the ordinary soldiers, whose corpses by the millions filled the bloody trenches of the Western Front, and the stunning incompetence of the callously hidebound and unimaginative leaders — political and military alike — who sent them to their deaths. The phrase comes to mind now in the agonizing aftermath of the dark August days we have just witnessed in Afghanistan, as well as the futility and needless sacrifice of the preceding 20 years of an inexplicable and retrospectively pointless war. Delighted enemies and despairing friends alike are seeing the emergence of a new global strategic calculus. Free peoples who long had viewed the United States as reliable and capable have watched in shock as events clearly demonstrated that we sometimes are neither. […] So, while our donkeys continue to disgrace themselves, and by extension their country, in heretofore unimaginable ways while compounding their folly through breathtaking mendacity, what has been the fate of our lions?

Horowitz: The Treason Party
A problem the nation is so far reluctant to face. What do you call a party that takes the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the worst attack on the homeland since the British burned the White House in 1812, to lecture Americans on their persecution of Muslims? Especially, when the attack was inspired by Islamic doctrine in a declaration of (unprovoked) war against the “Jews and the Crusaders” (Christians)? What do you call a president who, on the anniversary of this attack, describes this as a “religion of peace”? The 2001 assault on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon was inspired by Islamic doctrines leading to similar attacks on Jews and Christians for over a thousand years, including hundreds of thousands of slaughters and beheadings of Christians in the last twenty, and attacks on Jewish civilians as recently as a year ago. Islam is, without any question, the most war-like, intolerant religion on the planet, yet America’s commander-in-chief defends it as a “religion of peace” and warns American citizens commemorating an unprovoked Muslim attack, which took nearly 3,000 innocent American lives, to put on sackcloth and ashes to atone for their imaginary “persecution” of Muslims. Look up the statistics, Joe. It’s Jews who are the most persecuted religious group in America, thanks in large part to the influx of radical Muslims from “Palestine” and other Muslim nations at war with Israel because they hate Jews. What do you call a party whose leaders turn a twenty-year victory over Islamic barbarism . . .

Shurk: Medical Experimentation and Collective Punishment Are War Crimes
Fake President but Real Dictator Joe Biden: “We are going to protect the vaccinated workers from unvaccinated coworkers.” Ah, if only the “vaccinated” workers had as healthy immune systems as their unvaccinated colleagues. Whatever the friendly U.S. government is injecting into people, it’s certainly not inoculating against or inhibiting transmission of the Fauci Virus if the “vaccinated” must walk around in bubble-boy suits for the rest of their lives. The “vaccine” that works so nice you have to take it twice…er, thrice…er, we’ll let you know when you’ve had enough, prole! Before “hope and change” replaced the Scientific Method, not only did the medical community know the difference between males and females, but also vaccinations actually conferred immunity. Is there some unwritten rule that we must endure fake vaccinations during fake presidencies? I know we live in a time when the political left redefines words daily to fit its desired propaganda objectives, . . . […] . . . maybe it’s time to consult long-standing international agreements on the protection of human rights and the prosecution of war crimes. As its first stated principle outlining the bare minimum required of medical professionals “to satisfy moral, ethical, and legal” duties, the 1947 Nuremberg Code states clearly: . . . […] Rather, let’s highlight what the Nuremberg Code says about consent: it must be free from “force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion.” Does this set off any alarm bells for ethicists concerned about not following in the footsteps of Nazi medical science or treating civilians as guinea pigs for experimental research? Is it possible that Herr Biden’s angry threats . . .

Prager: The most mean-spirited president in history
There are many ways in which to divide humanity – the decent and the indecent, the happy and the unhappy, the cowardly and the courageous, those who lead and those who follow, etc. Two major divisions that are less often noted but highly consequential are between those who want to control others and those who have little interest in controlling others, and between the related categories of those who are comfortable with being controlled by others and those who detest being controlled by others. Those who seek to control others and those who seek to be controlled by others would seem to be on opposite ends of the political spectrum. But they are not. Both groups are overwhelmingly populated by individuals on the left.

AN AMERICA IN DECLINE
Besner: The Twin Towers’ Collapse Is A Metaphor For America’s Fall
We have established a welfare state where creativity, initiative, and the desire to succeed have given way to idleness, sloth, indolence, and the pursuit of pleasure. Our previously held value system is no longer held in high esteem. Ideas such as individual responsibility, the nuclear family, religious observance, patriotism, and love of country are outdated and ridiculed. The family unit is being superseded by the state as the sole provider of succor and sustenance, while all religious traditions (except Islam) have been degraded. We have succeeded in replacing the biblical Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse with a more appropriate updated version: Identity Politics, Wokeness, Cancel Culture, and Critical Race Theory. Our history continues to be subject to revision and our education system has become the far left’s propaganda tool. Our higher learning institutions are fertile breeding grounds for anti-America hate. The flag, which millions of Americans so proudly displayed after 9/11, is now regarded as a symbol of repression and racism, while the national anthem is mocked. Entire teams at major sporting events routinely “take a knee” when The Star-Spangled Banner plays.

DEMOCRAT PARTY MARXIST PLAYBOOK: CRT (WOKE IDENTITY POLITICS)
VDH: Wokeness: An Evil of Our Age
History is replete with examples of nations, successful and not-so-successful alike, that abruptly committed suicide. The ancient polis of Corcyra devoured itself in a bloody conflict as a collective madness took hold of the island city-state during the Peloponnesian War. The Jacobins in 1793 hijacked the French Revolution and turned a movement toward a constitutional republic into a totalitarian, year-zero effort to destroy the past and ensure equity for all—or else. The Reign of Terror—and eventually Napoleon—followed. The effort to force war-weary Czarist Russia to reform into a constitutional monarchy ended up being kidnapped by a small but lethal clique of Leninist Bolsheviks. What ensued was the destruction of Russian life—and millions of corpses—over the next 70 years. Ditto Mao Zedong’s various murderous resets culminating in the cannibalistic “Cultural Revolution.” Mao’s final tab was 60-70 million deaths of his fellow Chinese. French, Russian, and Chinese wokists all toppled statues, canceled out the nonbelievers, wiped away history, tore down monuments, and declared themselves the purest of all generations in their year zero—before getting down to the business of dividing up the spoils and settling scores.
Most of these bloodbaths started out with the supposedly noble idea of delivering social justice, equity, and fairness before they inevitably went deadly and feral. We should be just as worried about our own woke pandemic.

THE DEMOCRAT LED WAR AGAINST WOMEN
Widburg: Leftists cheer as a violent man assaults a woman
Mixed Martial Arts took a serious hit the other day when the sport allowed a man to beat a woman brutally and then claim a victory for having done so. ESPN, others in the leftist establishment, and the Combate Global competition were all incredibly excited about this violent, misogynistic event. Worse, the man had trained for years in the United States Army’s Special Forces. Why was this all condoned — indeed, applauded? Because the man suffers from body dysphoria, which has led him to believe that he’s a woman. I feel sorry for him, but — and this is the important point — he’s not a woman, and it’s a travesty that people pretend he is. The story is a simple one: . . .

Murdock: Senator Mark Kelly Never Recused Himself from Now-Retracted ATF Nominee David Chipman
Kelly hired Chipman in 2016 to his gun control organization, Giffords, which he founded in 2013 with his wife, former Democratic Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. Chipman has served as their senior policy advisor for over five and a half years. The description of his role that he posted on his LinkedIn even makes a point to mention Kelly as the co-founder of Giffords. “Giffords is a gun violence prevention organization established by former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and her husband Mark Kelly[,] a retired United States Navy combat veteran, test pilot, and NASA astronaut,” wrote Chipman. “Giffords advocates for sensible gun laws, policies and investments that make communities safer. Areas of specific interest include strengthening and expanding the background check system, combating domestic violence homicides, enacting comprehensive laws against gun trafficking and dedicating funding for research about the causes and impact of gun violence.” (emphasis added) That description of Kelly wasn’t copied and pasted from Giffords, or anywhere else online. That was something that Chipman likely crafted entirely on his own, because that exact phrasing is unique to his LinkedIn description. Kelly’s organization advocated heavily for Chipman’s approval.
