NOTABLE QUOTES
National School Board Association wrote a disturbing letter to the Biden Administration demanding that parents who protest at school board meetings should be designated as domestic terrorists: Now, we ask that the federal government investigate, intercept, and prevent the current threats and acts of violence against our public school officials through existing statutes, executive authority, interagency and intergovernmental task forces, and other extraordinary measures to ensure the safety of our children and educators, to protect interstate commerce, and to preserve public school infrastructure and campuses.” […] And here is the clincher: “As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”
Cheryl Allen contributor to The Federalist exposes Nazi level experiments at the University of Pittsburgh: There is evidence that labor is being induced and babies delivered in a such a manner that the babies can still be alive when organ harvesting occurs. In Pitt’s application for federal funding, it asks for $3 million to significantly “ramp up” its fetal tissue collections.
Merle Hoffman author of her memoir Intimate Wars: “Abortion is as American as apple pie. . . “ “With my choice I was fighting for the right of all women to define abortion as an act of love: love for the family one already has, and just as important, love for oneself. I was fighting to reclaim abortion as a mother’s act. It was an act of solidarity as significant as any other I had committed.”
Adam Ellwanger contributor to American Greatness: As I read documents from experts on COVID-19, it became evident that the apocalyptic style they used was also directed to this end—they want to change the behavior of the public. Expertise plays an important role in the genre of apocalypse. The writer/speaker to whom the vision of the end is revealed necessarily has an “elect” status. This is important because the apocalyptic insights often consist of signs and symbols, the meaning and import of which must be interpreted and explained for the audience of the text. Thus, the person to whom the signs of the end are shown takes on the status of the priestly caste in possession of the revealed truth necessary to understand and translate the signs to regular people.
Dr. Fauci when asked if unvaccinated illegals crossing the southern border are responsible for surge in COVID cases responded: “The problem is within our own country. Certainly immigrants can get infected but they’re not the driving force of this.”
Alan Halbert contributor to American Thinker: Why, are we only given an ineffective so-called genetic vaccine; in a vaccinate or nothing proposition, instead of proven treatment? And why does Biden seem determined to make 98% of the country guinea pigs for a leaky vaccine and endless boosters? Remember Afghanistan. God help us.
PRESIDENT TRUMP
Bevan: Trump on What Went Right, What Went Wrong, and Running Again in 2024
After a short wait, one of Trump’s press aides escorted me into a small room with a fireplace, a wooden bar, and a single round table with four chairs. Moments later, the 45th U.S. president entered, shook my hand, and took a seat. A waiter appeared seemingly out of nowhere to present Trump with— what else?—a can of Diet Coke and a glass of ice. And with that, we were off and running on a free-form 90-minute conversation on topics ranging from China, the war in Afghanistan, and COVID-19 to General Mark Milley, George W. Bush, and Bob Woodward’s latest book. […] “The 2020 election fraud is the biggest and its most energizing issue within the Republican Party,” Trump said, “and a large percentage of elected Republican leaders, including Congress, don’t understand that.” So far, Trump has a better track record of understanding what rank-and-file Republican voters want than the pundits and politicians in Washington, D.C. Whether he decides to run in 2024 or not, rest assured he will not stop talking about 2020 and the importance of election integrity. “I used to say you can’t have a country without borders,” Trump said. But these days he adds a qualifier. “You also cannot have a country with a corrupt election process. And we have a very corrupt election process.”

(H/T AS) CDC: Interim Operational Considerations for Implementing the Shielding Approach to Prevent COVID-19 Infections in Humanitarian Settings
What is the Shielding Approach? The shielding approach aims to reduce the number of severe COVID-19 cases by limiting contact between individuals at higher risk of developing severe disease (“high-risk”) and the general population (“low-risk”). High-risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safe or “green zones” established at the household, neighborhood, camp/sector or community level depending on the context and setting.1,2 They would have minimal contact with family members and other low-risk residents. Current evidence indicates that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19.3 In most humanitarian settings, older population groups make up a small percentage of the total population.4,5 For this reason, the shielding approach suggests physically separating high-risk individuals from the general population to prioritize the use of the limited available resources and avoid implementing long-term containment measures among the general population. In theory, shielding may serve its objective to protect high-risk populations from disease and death. However, implementation of the approach necessitates strict adherence1,6,7, to protocol. Inadvertent introduction of the virus into a green zone may result in rapid transmission among the most vulnerable populations the approach is trying to protect.

Ellwanger: Vaccine Hesitancy, the Medical Establishment, and the COVID Apocalypse
The most egregious document that I found was from an October 2020 issue of The Lancet. The Lancet is often classified as the second-best peer-reviewed journal on medical science in the world—in other words, its reputation is sterling. The text in question here is titled “Lancet COVID-19 Commission Statement on the occasion of the 75th session of the U.N. General Assembly.” The beginning of the statement explains that the COVID commission was formed “to assist governments, civil society, and U.N. institutions in responding effectively to the pandemic.” While it is of note that the medical establishment is openly working with an international political body like the United Nations, what follows is even more disturbing. The statement outlines the four central goals of the commission: . . .[…] Certainly, the medical establishment should direct their efforts to the first goal. While the second goal may be laudable, I am skeptical of the ability of medical professionals to solve the problems it names. But what in the world do the third and fourth goals have to do with the pandemic? How does the medical establishment have any business at all in “restructuring public and private finances” or “rebuilding the world economy”?

NEXT ON THE DEMOCRAT PARTY’S MARXIST HIT LIST: PARENTS & HOMESCHOOLING
Stauffer: National School Boards Association Demands Biden Treat Fed-Up Parents and Protesters as Domestic Terrorists
On Wednesday, the leftist National School Boards Association penned a letter to President Joe Biden pleading with him to treat parents who oppose the teaching of critical race theory and mask mandates as domestic terrorists. […] “Now, we ask that the federal government investigate, intercept, and prevent the current threats and acts of violence against our public school officials through existing statutes, executive authority, interagency and intergovernmental task forces, and other extraordinary measures to ensure the safety of our children and educators, to protect interstate commerce, and to preserve public school infrastructure and campuses.” […] And here is the clincher: “As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.” […] “NSBA requests that such review examine appropriate enforceable actions against these crimes and acts of violence under the Gun-Free School Zones Act, the PATRIOT Act in regards to domestic terrorism, the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, the Violent Interference with Federally Protected Rights statute, the Conspiracy Against Rights statute, an Executive Order to enforce all applicable federal laws for the protection of students and public school district personnel, and any related measure.” {NOTE: And parents you thought the school boards worked for you.]

Berrien: Nat’l Teachers Union Prez Panicked DeSantis Will Trigger Flight To Private Schools. Social Media: ‘Hallelujah’
On Thursday, Weingarten referencing an article in the leftist The New Republic that attacked DeSantis for his policies, tweeted, “This isn’t just about masks or about Governor DeSantis’ political aspirations. It’s about the complete destabilization of public education so that parents will choose private schools.”
[…] DeSantis “appears to be piloting a new education ideology for Republicans. Trading in the decades-old, substantially bipartisan education reform agenda, a formula that was born in Florida, he is mustering a naked attack on the very existence of public schools.”

Whitson: Homeschooling Growing by Leaps and Bounds
Homeschooling numbers have increased over 300% in the last two years, according to federal government Census data. This spike does not include Americans engaged in virtual learning through a public or private school program due to COVID protocols. These are full-time homeschoolers. The United States Census Bureau has been tasked with collecting data through nationwide surveys for over 80 years. The data are intended for use by other government agencies and elected officials for policy decisions. This is the first time the Census Bureau has sought to identify the total number of homeschoolers in America. Previous surveys only marked children who were un-enrolled in public or private school. That rate usually hovered around 3.3% and was as high as 5.4% in 2019.[Prediction: Teachers unions will move to make homeschooling illegal.]

Berrien: North Carolina County Wants Teachers Fired, Disciplined If They Undermine Constitution, Bash Founders, Say America’s Racist
A North Carolina county is insisting that its local school board institute a policy that would discipline or fire teachers if they assert that the American Founders were not heroes, if they make statements undermining the Constitution, or if they assert that racism is endemic in America. CHINA: AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY
Lepore: ‘Military’ planes are spotted landing at Bagram airbase in Afghanistan after it was claimed China is ‘considering’ sending soldiers to ex US airbase to strengthen ties with Taliban
There have been multiple reports of military planes arriving at Bagram airbase in Afghanistan, just hours after images emerged showing that power was restored to the base for the first time since US forces evacuated the stronghold in July. Images circulating on social media appear to show the airbase’s floodlights blazing in the distance, amid reports that several military planes have taken off and landed at the base in recent hours. Several sources suggest that the aircraft are Chinese, given the Taliban are not thought to possess the expertise needed to power the base or maintain and fly several military aircraft.
It comes after Yun Sun, director of the China Program at the Stimson Center think tank, said China would likely be very interested in occupying the airbase following the US pullout. US forces in Afghanistan abandoned their main base at Bagram airport overnight in July – shutting off the lights and slipping away into the night without telling government forces who were supposed to take it over.

Winters: Wuhan Lab Journal Edited By U.S. Officials, Published Dozens Of Studies From China’s Military.
The collusion between the U.S. deep state and Chinese military is far more entrenched than most recognize. […] The National Pulse now can reveal that the journal has published dozens of studies listing individuals employed by Chinese military-controlled institutions. For several years, the journal has enlisted researchers from the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Hospital 307, General Hospital, Third Military Medical University, and Fourth Military Medical University to even assist with its editorial and review process. […] The National Pulse has previously reported that officials working at Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) have served on the journal’s editorial board. The journal has also repeatedly published studies carrying out gain-of-function research, supporting claims that Fauci lied about his National Institutes of Health (NIH) agency’s involvement with the risky form of research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

THE I WORD
Malloch: Impeach Him!
The weakling Republican Party needs to get some cojones and step up now to prepare for the impeachment of Joseph Robinette (yes, that is his middle name) Biden. […] If the weak-kneed Republican leadership will not do it, they should be replaced. The Paul Ryanesque House Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is certainly not up to the job, never defended Trump, and has so many skeletons in his closet—from rumored extra-marital affairs to bunking with turncoat RINO pollster, Frank Luntz—that he is an unacceptable Speaker of the House come 2022. Replace him now with someone like Steve Scalise (R-La.), who has a backbone, has taken one for the team, and is a patriot and populist of the first order. Why wait? He would impeach Biden. […] Here then is the overwhelming evidence in the case for impeachment against Joe Biden.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING AMERICA
VDH: Our Woke National Icons
Milley, Fauci, and Biden are soulless men who reveal the bankruptcy of our ruling class. As we watch events unfold in 2021, obvious questions about the fitness of our national leaders present themselves. Who are these new woke national icons and how did they come to lord it over the rest of us? Here are some observations by way of preliminary explanation. […] How do these people continue to exercise such power and influence? There are at least four likely reasons: 1) D.C. Deference Culture. As creatures of government and Washington, they, and legions like them, understand that there are zero consequences for not telling the truth. When trapped in “misstatements” and “I don’t recall” fibs, they tend to resort to an argument from authority, whether that be leveraged by the initials following their name, their titles, or their ribbons and medallions. They have enjoyed life-long impressive government remuneration and their obsequious fealty understandably seems to be first toward the permanent beltway corporate, media, and government class that protects and abets them. 2) . . .

Neumayr: The Cult of Abortion Under Biden
Its celebration is a defining mark of his presidency. […] Alexander Sanger, the grandson of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, urged feminists to drop any conflicted rhetoric about abortion and describe the unborn child as “not just an innocent life.” He wrote, “While it is the epitome of human destiny and the greatest potential joy that humanity can create, it is also a liability, a threat, and a danger to the mother and to the other members of the family. In order to survive, humanity has necessarily taken pre-born life to preserve other life all throughout its evolutionary history.”

Simonson: Dems Tuck Multibillion-Dollar Handout to Illegal Immigrants Into Reconciliation
President Joe Biden’s budget includes a provision that provides billions of dollars in cash to illegal aliens with children. The $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill extends the Child Tax Credit to anyone in the United States who provides an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, overturning a crucial safeguard against fraud. Federal law required a valid Social Security number to receive the cash transfer from the federal government. The potential payout for illegal immigrants is massive, with each family receiving a monthly payment of $250 to $300 per child. A survey from the Pew Research Center found that roughly 675,000 children are not eligible for a Social Security number, making the tax credit expansion for illegal aliens cost between $2.025 billion to $2.43 billion a year. Other estimates put the total number of illegal children residing in the United States at more than 800,000. Families, regardless of their legal status, would be eligible to receive checks of $3,600 per year per child.

Schlichter: The Manchin-Sinema Game
Pity Chuck Schumer, with AOC sniffing around for the scent of primary vulnerability while the Murder Turtle across the aisle is tenting his fingers, whispering “Excellent,” as the majority leader publicly nadlers himself. He’s got Nancy Pelosi jumping into the race for Most Senile Senior in the Dem leadership, alleged moderates terrified of 2022, the bro-betrothing weirdos of the progressive left, and a desiccated old freak in the White House who intervened and only made things worse. But Chucky’s real problem is the Wonder Twins, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, who are driving him nuts with their stubborn refusal to commit ritual suicide to make the NY-SF axis happy. And it’s only going to get worse. Pass the popcorn and cabernet, because this is gonna be fun. For these two, this New Deal is No Deal, at least not as currently constituted. They are doing yeoman’s work taking the heat for a bunch of other senators who likewise have no desire to walk Pelosi’s plank next year by voting for the zillion-dollar printing press green-light that is the reconciliation infrastructure bill. Of course, this atrocity is only about infrastructure in the loose sense that every single thing in the Dems’ letter to Santa is “infrastructure.” Free money to deadbeats is infrastructure. Open borders is infrastructure. So, I guess, the middle fingers of Sinema and Manchin are infrastructure too.

Chamberlain: Appeals court keeps Title 42 in place as DHS preps for up to 400,000 migrant surge
US District Judge Emmet Sullivan ruled Sept. 16 that the White House could no longer use the COVID-19 pandemic to justify quick deportations of families under the public health order, known as Title 42. Sullivan wrote in his ruling that “in view of the wide availability of testing, vaccines, and other minimization measures, the Court is not convinced that the transmission of COVID-19 during border processing cannot be significantly mitigated.”

Widburg: Illegal aliens harass and illegally film Sen. Kyrsten Sinema
And that’s how we end up with a video of amnesty activists chasing Sinema into the bathroom at Arizona State University where she was teaching a class: . . .[…] And am I the only one wondering why someone who claims to have been in America since she was three sounds as if she were raised in Mexico until last year? This is not a young woman who is assimilating to America, even if she’s been here as long as she claims to have been. In a sane world, having identified herself as someone here illegally, she’d immediately be deported to rejoin her grieving grandmother. Moreover, if this woman wants to blame someone for her illegal status, she’d better look to her parents. I looked up LUCHA Arizona, which proudly posted this video, and discovered that it’s just another Marxist program with a Hispanic accent: . . .

AN AMERICA IN DECLINE
Malanga: The New Secession Movement
A new poll from the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics finds that large portions of the American public now favor blue and red states going their own ways to form separate countries. The survey results, writes political scientist Larry Sabato, highlight the “deep, wide and dangerous divides” between Trump and Biden voters, presaging a new secession movement. But the schism was already evident in the increasing number of state and local officials enacting laws and policies that ban travel and restrict commerce with other American places with governments they object to—a trend that the Covid-19 emergency has only deepened. In everything from tax policy to travel to contracting rules, a secession movement within the states has been building for years. […] Once states and cities embark on these kinds of prohibitions, there’s nothing to stop them from spreading. And they have. A decade ago, for instance, Los Angeles restricted travel by city employees to . . .

A CULTURE IN DECLINE
Allen: Public Officials Silent About Allegations Of Nazi-Level Experiments At The University Of Pittsburgh
Nearly 100 members of Congress asked the Biden administration for details on the University of Pittsburgh’s federally funded research on aborted babies in a recent letter. Pitt officials should be working with law enforcement to conduct a full investigation of the grotesque, immoral, and potentially illegal actions the university has taken in its treatment of preborn human beings. Pitt should provide complete transparency regarding how the university obtains and experiments on these aborted babies. Even Dr. Ronna Jurow, an ob-gyn who supports abortion, has raised significant concern over unethical treatment of aborted babies at Pitt. As an alumnus of Pitt, it troubles me to see my alma mater become a national hub for training students for controversial fetal experimentation, allegedly using staff employed by Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion business.

Shurk: The War on Masculinity Will End Badly
I have long believed that one of the most dangerous mass movements gripping the West today is the suicidal drive to emasculate, and even infantilize, men. History is not filled with examples of prosperous and peaceful civilizations made up of men apologizing for their strength and promising to be less stoic and more tearful in battle. “For he to-day that sheds his blood with me / Shall be my brother,” Henry V proclaimed to his far-outnumbered soldiers in Shakespeare’s recounting of the king’s St. Crispin’s Day speech that rallied his men to victory near Agincourt in 1415. Six hundred years later, and Henry’s exhortation would surely be deemed “toxic,” “patriarchal,” and Heaven forbid! “cis-normative.” Talk of blood and honor and manhood has no place in a society committed to trampling boys’ self-esteem and shaming men into constantly “checking their privilege.” Woe to any nation, though, that thinks turning men into women will protect either.

CLIMATE EMERGENCY: IT’S POLITICAL
Samenow & Patel: South Pole posts most severe cold season on record, an anomaly in a warming world
Amid a record hot summer in large parts of Northern Hemisphere, beset by devastating fires, floods and hurricanes, Antarctica was mired in a deep, deep freeze. That’s typically the case during the southernmost continent’s winter months, but 2021 was different. The chill was exceptional, even for the coldest location on the planet. The average temperature at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station between April and September, a frigid minus-78 degrees (minus-61 Celsius), was the coldest on record, dating back to 1957. This was 4.5 degrees lower than the most recent 30-year average. We first learned of this record through a tweet from Stefano Di Battista, who has published research on Antarctic temperatures. The legitimacy of Di Battista’s information was confirmed by Richard Cullather, a research scientist at NASA’s Global Modeling and Assimilation Office. The temperature averaged over September was also the coldest on record at South Pole, wrote David Bromwich, a polar researcher at Ohio State University, in an email. The extreme cold over Antarctica helped push sea ice levels surrounding the continent to their fifth-highest level on record in August, according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center.

BOOK RECOMMENDATION
Critchlow: Dissecting the Monsters of Modern Revolutions
Revolutionary Monsters recounts the tragedy of dictatorship in our age of alleged “enlightenment.” The book is short, and written for those who know little about the human tragedy of history. The assumption behind Revolutionary Monsters is that facts can replace vacuous rhetoric about “liberation,” “equality,” and “freedom.” These words should impart a deeper meaning to those cautious ones who realize the imperfections of the world and human nature, even while understanding that progress, albeit often uneven, should be sought. To speak of “imperfections of the world and human nature,” however, hardly captures the tragedy of revolution (and war) in the 20th century. Revolutionary Monsters presents the dialectic of revolution as liberation transformed into oppression, freedom into tyranny, and idealism into tragedy. Individual men and women, not nameless social forces, drive history. With little knowledge of history, the young are easily persuaded by the romance of revolution and the acceptance of destruction as a path to human perfection.

Dizik: Is It Flu or Covid-19? It’s Harder to Tell the Symptoms Apart This Year
Doctors expect the flu season to be rough this year, and with it comes another challenge: Figuring out whether your symptoms point to the flu, Covid-19 or something else. Many symptoms of flu and Covid-19 are similar. Fever, fatigue and achiness can occur with both. The often-milder symptoms of a Covid-19 breakthrough infection in vaccinated people—sometimes including a runny nose or sneezing—can make it even harder to distinguish between the two illnesses, or from a cold or allergies. “You may just think it’s a stuffy nose or allergy symptoms, but that could be as simple as your breakthrough infection,” said Cameron Wolfe, an infectious disease specialist at Duke University Hospital in Durham, N.C. Here’s what doctors say you should know about distinguishing between Covid-19 and other illnesses, and what to do if you’re sick.
