Daily News Roundup
Victor Davis Hanson contributor to American Greatness, describing the 1960’s Left’s dream becoming America’s 2021 nightmare, wrote: We are now finally witnessing the logical fruition of their radical utopia: Censorship, electronic surveillance, internal spying, monopolies, cartels, conspiracy theories, weaponization of the intelligence agencies, pouring billions of dollars into campaigns, changing voting laws by fiat, a woke revolutionary military, book banning, bleeding the First Amendment, canceling careers, blacklisting, separate-but-equal racial segregation and separatism.
Paul Gottfried contributor to American Greatness wrote: Striking “moderate” poses in the present political climate is like trying to be a pacifist on a battlefield. Republicans need more backbone—like the Democrats. Nonresistance or appeasement is an open invitation to ruthless enemies.
John Green contributor to American Thinker wrote: However, I want to talk about something other than the hard evidence. If the election was legit, why are the Democrats acting so darned guilty?
Nancy Pelosi House speaker (D-CA.] praised President Biden’s foreign policy memorandum: These important steps restore a foreign policy based on America’s values and interests, ensuring that human rights–specifically the protection of LGBTQ communities, refugees and other vulnerable populations – are once more front-and-center of our national security agenda.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo responded to President Biden’s statement that America is back: Does he mean back to when ISIS controlled a caliphate in Syria that was the size of Britain? I hope not.
P.F. Kelly, Jr. contributor to American Thinker wrote: Despite reports of a possible loss, Cheney retained her leadership role among Republicans in the House of Representatives. But what does Cheney “represent”? What issues have she and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who backed her in the vote, led on? What issues are they passionate about? Every establishment Republican has this same problem. What do they stand for? What are they fighting for in Congress? Unlike President Trump, who ran on a number of important issues in 2016 and then delivered on them for four years, like middle class tax cuts, reducing illegal immigration, confronting China on trade issues, and challenging China’s rising military power, establishment Republicans offer mostly lip service.
Sundance contributor to Last Refuge wrote: Chris Wallace, a gatekeeper for all things swamp, was gleeful to provide Cheney withe opportunity to attack Trump supporters. The interview is telling on many fronts, but how many republicans will finally accept their status? The GOP doesn’t care what you think about them… they are the second wing of the UniParty vulture. Stop being a battered conservative and start accepting that two-thirds of the republican party do not want you in the room.
Judi Mcleod contributor to Canada Free Press wrote: Meanwhile, one thing is certain, the mantra Make America Great Again (MAGA) is far more enduring than the Democrats’ MALA (Make America Last Again)
Communist and mass murderer Vladimir Lenin: Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.

Krayden: Sen. Ron Johnson Says Washington Still ‘Barricaded’ To Intimidate Trump Voters
Republican Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson suggested Sunday that Washington, D.C. remains “barricaded” with tall fencing and barbed wire as a warning to Trump voters. “I think we ought to take that fencing down and return to as normal position as possible,” Johnson told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.” “I think the fencing is … remaining in place to send a signal, a narrative that 74 million Americans that voted for President Trump are dangerous to our democracy. They are all insurrectionists and that’s simply not the case.”

U.S. SUPREME COURT
Trunsky: California Cannot Enforce Coronavirus-Related Restrictions On Indoor Worship, Supreme Court Rules
The 6-3 ruling, issued just before 11 p.m., consisted of four separate statements by the justices outlining what relief each would have granted to the churches that had sued. Despite the splintered rulings, a majority of the court was willing to lift California’s ban on indoor services while remaining other, more specific restrictions in place. Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch opted to grant all of the churches’ requests, including lifting the bans on singing and chanting and the restrictions that enforce a 25% capacity at most indoor places of worship. […] Justice Samuel Alito was mostly in agreement, saying . . . Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh, however, took a more middle-ground approach, writing . . . The courts’ three liberals dissented, arguing that lifting the restrictions and putting the court’s judgement before that of California public health officials was unwise.

CHINA: AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY
Kakutani: U.C. Berkeley Advised Chinese Government on Economic Decisions
Berkeley’s overseas ties have allowed China to access U.S. expertise in two critical sectors: big data and automated cars. The Chinese government considers big data analytics—the use of computers to analyze large data sets—as essential to strengthen both its domestic surveillance apparatus and military capabilities, according to a RAND report. The regime has long viewed the automated car sector as a key growth area, and its spies have stolen trade secrets from Tesla and other car companies to boost its own development.

Fang: During Pandemic, China Sent Millions of Counterfeit Masks, Test Kits to US: Customs Data
China accounted for about 51 percent of counterfeit or substandard COVID-19-related products seized by U.S. customs officials from October 2019 to Sept. 30 last year, according to a newly-released report from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Among the products seized by U.S. customs officials were over 12.7 million counterfeit masks, 177,356 COVID-19 test kits prohibited by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and 38,098 FDA-prohibited chloroquine tablets.

STEALING THE 2020 ELECTION: NOT RIGGED BUT FORTIFIED
Feldman: Rigging the Election for China and Profit
Emerald Robinson tweets: @EmeraldRobinson The corporate media: “People who say there was a shadow campaign to rig the 2020 election are conspiracy theorists!” Time Magazine: “Read our story on the shadow campaign to rig the 2020 election!” […] You must read the Time article to get the full flavor of the brazen admissions of what was done. Here’s a brief summary of the most significant of them, devoid of the leftist spackle of the author. Business, the AFL-CIO, and Black Lives Matter worked together to change voting systems and laws, to get hundreds of millions of dollars to make voting less secure and worked with social media to keep the Biden message upfront, the Trump message buried and the country terrified of widespread violence if the president won re-election. (4.6 percent of people who voted for Biden said in a poll that they would not have done so, had the information about Hunter Biden’s corruption not been scotched by the media.) The participants see themselves as the protectors of democracy and want their story told, the author explains. Initial moves were coordinated by Mike Podhorzer, senior adviser to Richard Trumka, president of the AFl-CIO. He saw in the COVID-19 reaction an opportunity to bypass normal, more secure election procedures, and working with Planned Parenthood, Indivisible, and Move On, “progressive data geeks and strategists, representatives of donors and foundations, state-level grassroots organizers, Working Families Party, racial-justice activists and others, to manipulate the election procedures. In time, they persuaded Congress to steer COVID relief funds for election administration, a feat aided by the Leadership Conference of Civil and Human Rights. When the $400 million grant proved insufficient for their means, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative dropped into their hands another $300 million, which the National Vote at Home Institute used to advise secretaries of state on the new, insecure voting procedures. (Chan is the wife of Mark Zuckerberg — Facebook’s chairman, CEO and controlling shareholder). Having altered the rules, the next step was taken by the . . .

(ARIZONA) Neff: Maricopa County Supervisors Sue Again To Invalidate Legislative Subpoenas
A second lawsuit has been filed by Maricopa County’s Board of Supervisors (BOS) over their objections to two legislative subpoenas connected to the 2020 General Election. The civil complaint filed Friday in Maricopa County Superior Court recognizes the authority of the State Senate to issue subpoenas and to require compliance with those subpoenas. But that authority does not include “sham legislative subpoenas,” according to the 33-page lawsuit supported by seven exhibits. “The Maricopa County Plaintiffs respect the Arizona legislature, including both the Arizona Senate and the Arizona House of Representatives, and recognize their authority to issue subpoenas and to insist that all parties comply with lawful subpoenas,” the lawsuit states. [NOTE: What is the Maricopa County Supervisors hiding? ]
