Denevi explained that the high school freshmen would be taught a curriculum called “Social Justice in Physics,” which addressed “power dynamics, systemic racism, white privilege, and the shortage of people of color and women in the field of science, especially physics.” […] The email also noted that the effectiveness of the CRT teaching was tracked, with students taking identical surveys before and after being taught the curriculum “in order to track any change in beliefs.” […] The Latin School Of Chicago Was A Launchpad For Leftwing Extremism In Education There’s no doubt this curriculum was implemented specifically for ideological ends. It appears to have also launched further ideological outreach in other schools. […] Denevi’s leftwing extremism was evidently not merely confined to racial topics. As this report will show, it appears the CIA is determined to manifest a prophecy propagated by its own ranks over the past two years. This prediction from former and current intelligence officials dates from at least early 2020 and holds that a “transnational white supremacist network” with alleged ties to the Ukraine conflict will be the next global catastrophe to befall the world as the threat of Covid-19 recedes. ‘We’re getting closer to seeing our first ever major city gas price average reach $5/gal,’ Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, tweeted Monday, as the national average soared to $3.61, which has since spiked to $3.72 as of Thursday. ‘It will happen in the next couple weeks,’ the oil analyst asserted, listing cities hit the hardest by surging oil prices, such as San Francisco, which on Thursday saw its average surpass the $5 mark to hit $5.05 a gallon, and Los Angeles, which reached a similar $5.01. The national average as of Thursday is $3.72 a gallon, up 37 cents from February and about a dollar from a year ago, AAA data shows. Several Democrats in Congress are invested in nonunion electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers, even as they push to erode their market share with targeted tax subsidies for their unionized competitors. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), and other prominent Democratic lawmakers either own stock or have spouses who own stock in non-unionized Tesla, which produces EVs. However, these same Democrats are simultaneously pushing legislation that would provide bonus tax credits for EVs built by union labor — and thereby make EVs built by Tesla and other nonunion companies thousands of dollars more costly for consumers. […] “Maybe union-built vehicles are somehow more green than other electric vehicles,” Sen. John Cornyn (R., Texas) said on the Senate floor last year. “I doubt that. Or maybe it is a favor doled out to a favored interest group by our friends across the aisle. That seems like the more likely conclusion.”

He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, can not and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheep dog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic such as ours. Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he didn’t tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, “Baa.”

Russia’s military buildup along the border with Ukraine has clearly gotten the attention of policymakers from Kiev to Washington, D.C. CIA Director Bill Burns flew to Moscow to try to avert a crisis, while U.S. intelligence officials are reportedly warning NATO allies that a Russian invasion of large parts of Ukraine can’t be ruled out. The possibility of Russian aggression against Ukraine would have huge consequences for European security. Perhaps even more concerning would be a Russian attack against a NATO member itself. Moscow might want to undermine security in the Baltic states or Poland, for instance, but could the Russian government successfully carry out a large-scale invasion of those countries? If recent wargames are any indication, then the answer is a resounding yes — and it could do so pretty easily. In a 2016 War on the Rocks article, David A. Shlapak and Michael W. Johnson projected that the Russian army would overrun the Baltic states in three days. Most of these wargames, such as RAND’s Baltic study, focus on fait accompli, an attack by the Russian government aimed at seizing terrain — then quickly digging in. This creates a dilemma for NATO: launch a costly counter-attack and risk heavy casualties and possibly a nuclear crisis or accept a Russian fait accompli and undermine faith in the credibility of the alliance.
