Cleveland: Exclusive: Systemic Voting Issues In Pennsylvania County Even More Extensive Than Previously Known
The video (and audio) hits just keep on coming from Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where a whistleblower secretly taped the aftermath of the chaos from the 2020 presidential election. Two recent recordings exclusively obtained by The Federalist from a source with knowledge of the recordings provide further evidence that systemic problems plague the large Pennsylvania county. The newest recordings provide some of the frankest discussion on how bad the behind-the-scenes situation was, with one election worker describing a part of the post-election situation as “abominable” and the attempt to do the impossible—reconcile some precincts’ voter sheets—as “a nightmare.” The whistleblower, Regina Miller, began recording conversations involving Delaware County officials after she became concerned with what she saw as a contract worker assisting election employees. A source familiar with the videos explained that Miller made the recordings as election workers scrambled to find—and in some cases create—documentation in response to a “Right to Know” request that sought copies of the paperwork that would confirm the accuracy of the vote tallies certified for the 2016 election.

Doyle: How No-Excuse Absentee Voting Allows Special Interests To Manipulate Voters
Opportunities for what in normal circumstances would qualify as illegal electioneering multiply considerably with absentee voting. Signs outside every physical polling place forbid electioneering. Each state has some form of restriction on political activities near polling locations when voting is taking place. These restrictions are usually on the display of signs, handing out campaign literature, attempting to influence voters, or soliciting votes within a predetermined distance (typically 50 to 200 feet) of a polling place. A list of the specific electioneering prohibitions adopted by each state can be found here. Opposition to electioneering is the main reason election integrity advocates oppose allowing political activists to provide food and water to voters waiting in line at polling places. What has been portrayed as a measure to starve and dehydrate suffering voters is really a commonsense prohibition against electioneering. Allowing such practices would allow anybody with a few water bottles or a bag of sandwiches an opportunity to harangue, harass, or otherwise intimidate voters who are waiting in line to cast their ballots. Hall: How Mike Pence Fell Short on January 6
I think I made a decent case for what Pence should have done on January 6 last year and you might find the two articles edifying. But here’s the gist what I advocated: Pence should have refused to open the certificates of all the states. The operative law here is the 12th Amendment which commands this: “The President of the Senate shall… open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted [italics add].” No one but Pence had the authority to open the certificates. And if the certificates aren’t opened, they can’t be counted. Immediately after the above command, the third paragraph of the Amendment goes on to provide for what happens when the count does not produce a president, which is to “immediately” throw the election into the House of Representatives, (which is where the 2020 presidential election needed to end up). Commentators on Pence’s dilemma have gotten hung up on words, as in whether he had the legal “right,” or “power,” or “authority” to “overturn” the election. Although Pence did not have the legal wherewithal to overturn the election, he did have the freedom to do so, all due to the constitutional uniqueness of his position. Had Pence taken such an unprecedented action, there would have been no appeal and no recourse.

Around the same time, a woman named Karlin Younger who just happened to be walking to a laundry facility near the Republican National Committee headquarters just happened to look down and see what she believed was a pipe bomb nestled between a dumpster and a fence right next to the building.

During the Obama administration, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) was the primary weapon used against single-family zoning in the suburbs.  The left is now leading the assault with state laws to supersede local zoning laws and force multi-family projects into suburban neighborhoods.  Their efforts in New York could reverberate across the nation if successful. Proposed New York State Senate S.4547 would override local zoning to permit the construction of accessory dwelling units as small as 550 square feet on residential property for the purposes of rental.  Existing accessory dwelling ordinances, which have been adopted to accommodate family members living in these units, would be voided immediately, completely usurping municipal home rule powers for single-family zoning districts.  Municipalities would be prevented from imposing barriers to the units, including parking requirements, setbacks, or allowable residential density.  This is a legislative camel’s nose into the tent to institutionalize state authority. […]  The fate of S.4547 and Hochul’s proposed executive budget has national implications.

In an analysis in preprint, researchers found only 2% of the NIH budget was allocated to COVID studies early in the pandemic. The investigation found that 2% of grants and 5.3% of the NIH budget got allocated to COVID research in 2020 overall. It also found that the average time to award a grant was 151 days.

Steinbuch: Russia pulls some troops back from Ukraine border, slams invasion reports
Russia said Tuesday it is pulling back some of its troops from Ukraine’s borders as it slammed reports of an invasion as “ostentatious hysteria” by the West. “We’ve always said the troops will return to their bases after the exercises are over. This is the case this time as well,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, according to Reuters. However, it was unclear how many units were being withdrawn after a build-up of an estimated 130,000 Russian troops to the north, east and south of Ukraine. Peskov also accused the US of fueling the crisis by warning repeatedly of an invasion — to the point where Peskov said President Vladimir Putin had joked about it.

If you google the words “Great Replacement,” your first hit will likely be a Wikipedia article which identifies the term as “a white nationalist conspiracy theory.” The article is part of two series, one on Islamophobia and one on discrimination. According to Wikipedia, the theory, “disseminated by French author Renaud Camus…states that, with the complicity or cooperation of ‘replacist’ elites, the ethnic French population—as well as white European populations at large—is being demographically and culturally replaced with non-European peoples.” U.S. outlets repeat this account of Camus’s theory when they raise concerns that Great Replacement talk is being transposed into an American context. A CNN politics report claims that “far right White supremacist groups, conservative media personalities and some Republicans in Congress are trying to inflame nativist feelings among conservative Whites by warning that liberals want immigrants to ‘replace’ native-born Americans.” The Anti-Defamation League published a Great Replacement explainer which announced that “the racist conspiracy theory has well and truly arrived.” Other examples abound.

The Biden campaign’s payments raise questions about whether Joffe continued snooping on Trump in the most recent election. The Biden and Clinton campaigns are the only two presidential committees to have ever paid Neustar, according to Federal Election Commission records. Biden’s campaign paid Neustar $18,819 on Sept. 29, 2020, the records show. The Clinton campaign paid the firm $3,000 in May 2015 for mobile phone services. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee paid $3,000 to Neustar in 2017. Neustar executives and staffers contributed $17,906 to Biden’s campaign, FEC records show.
It is unclear what Neustar executives knew of Joffe’s activities on behalf of the Clinton campaign.

King County Metro Transit workers filed 398 security incident reports regarding drug use in 2021, compared to 73 in 2020 and just 44 in 2019, according to the Times. Amalgamated Transit Union Local 587, representing over 4,000 King County Metro Transit workers, said the public transportation system needs stronger enforcement to remove the growing numbers of drug users. Active duty cops have been punched, spat and threatened while also dealing with surging drug smoke from fentanyl and meth, the Times reported. Narcotic smoking surged last summer, surpassing needles and marijuana complaints.

And believe it or not, that happens to be the celebrated children’s book publisher, Scholastic Press, which is the only children’s book publisher that works with the schools. This monopoly gives them huge influence over our kids. Why is this a big deal? Because Scholastic is publishing the kind of woke garbage you don’t want schools teaching, like anti-Americanism, LGBTQ propaganda, graphic sex, and critical race theory.

The campaign to convince minors that girls can become boys and boys can become girls continues unabated.  However, the consequences of that campaign are now being exposed and are proving unacceptable.  Critics of the campaign have long known the dangers and have deemed them to be child abuse.  Federal, state, and local governments have ignored the obvious in a case of willful blindness, but the evidence that children and adolescents need protection is now so apparent that government must intercede.  Some states have already begun.  The Arkansas SAFE Act prohibits professionals from treating minors with puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and sexual reassignment surgery.  South Dakota has enacted legislation to prevent male participation in sports designated for females.  A sample of campaign actions and activities is instructive and compelling. ACLU attorneys have filed a lawsuit against the Arkansas SAFE Act, claiming that there exists a consensus of medical organizations as to the appropriate treatments for minors presenting with gender issues. That claim appears patently false.

Liberals and Progressives continue in their belief that the presence of guns causes crime rather than the presence of criminals causes crime. It appears no amount of evidence or logic can dissuade them. It is a purely emotional position devoid of logic and experience. This is the assumption behind almost all “gun control” legislation. Guns cause crime and thus fewer guns cause less crime. Guns you see, can leap about by themselves, leave premises, invade school zones, and discharge themselves in an erratic and deadly fashion at almost any time. These pieces of metal are very badly behaved and are a threat to all of us.

Mangiaracina: Police damage parked vehicles, cut cables to prevent their use in Alberta border blockade
Canadian police sabotaged three excavator vehicles parked on private property by cutting their electrical and control cables in order to prevent their use in a southern Alberta blockade. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said they “disabled” the excavator vehicles to prevent them from being used in the vehicle blockade at the U.S.-Canada border near Coutts, according to CBC News.
