Microsoft Corporation legal documents obtained by Project Veritas show that after a U.S. District Court Judge rejected the DOJ’s argument to ignore Project Veritas’ “journalistic privileges,” the DOJ went behind the judge’s back to obtain an extension on two sealed non-disclosure orders from a magistrate judge to conceal the fact they already had unsupervised and unfettered access to privileged emails and contacts of eight Project Veritas journalists. • Judge Torres had ruled that prosecutors must operate under the supervision of a Special Master to ensure first amendment protections are upheld for Project Veritas journalists and their source material. • These documents reveal that the government not only ignored that order, but also attempted to hide the fact they had obtained emails for time periods far outside the scope of the investigation.

What Barack Obama and Eric Holder did with that new construct was refine the internal targeting mechanisms so that only their ideological opposition became the target of the new national security system. Algar: Florida to require high school financial literacy class to graduate
A bill signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday requires all Florida kids to take and pass a basic financial literacy course to graduate from high school. The skills prioritized by the legislation will be “applicable in their lives regardless of what path they take,” DeSantis said Tuesday at a Tampa press conference.
Worth half a credit, the course will be required beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, the Florida governor said. “This will provide a foundation for students to learn about the basics of money management — understanding debt, understanding how to balance a checkbook, understanding the fundamentals of investing,” he said.

The Free Beacon first reported last week that Iran has a $10 billion contract with Russia’s state-controlled energy firm, Rosatom, that will see Moscow construct new portions of Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant. Trump administration sanctions stopped this work, but as part of the new nuclear agreement, these sanctions will be lifted so the work can go ahead. Already, the Biden administration has waived certain sanctions that blocked Russia, China, and others from engaging in nuclear work with Iran.

But this was a moment to which close attention is very much due. CBDCs have the potential to become an unprecedented totalitarian nightmare. […] A CBDC system would be radically simplified. A customer would open an account directly with a country’s central bank, and the central bank would issue (create) digital money in the account. Crucially, this makes the money a direct liability of the Fed, rather than of a private bank. Using a simple smartphone app or other tools, the customer can then initiate direct transactions between Fed accounts. The digital money is deleted in one account and recreated in another instantaneously. Moving money across borders no longer requires something as complex as SWIFT or wire transfers, and currencies can be exchanged instantly as long as friendly central banks have agreements to do so. No promises or trust are necessary; every transaction is permanently recorded on a digital cryptographic ledger in real time—a bit like Bitcoin, but exquisitely centralized rather than distributed. Such a system technically no longer needs such middlemen as banks or credit card companies. The Fed retains complete oversight and control over the creation, destruction, and “movement” of money, no matter where it is “held” or who “has” it. […] Biden’s order described “research and development efforts into the potential design and deployment options of a United States CBDC” as a matter of “the highest urgency” for his administration. Why should such a seemingly obscure and technical monetary innovation be of such urgency to the U.S. government?

We are now in the second week of around-the-clock obsession by U.S. media and political leaders about Ukraine. The rhetoric has grown increasingly alarming, and the media reports are increasingly detached from reality. About a week ago, a story spread like wildfire, boosted by some in the Biden administration and in Europe: Russia had attacked nuclear reactors, the reactors had caught fire, and the resulting meltdown could be far worse than the famous Chernobyl power plant disaster. This, it turned out, was a preposterous lie on multiple fronts, especially the threats of a Chernobyl-style meltdown. Yet U.S. media gobbled it up, and politicians gleefully used it as an excuse to further escalate an already tense situation. I’ve come under some fire for asking the simple question about Ukraine: why is this in our interest? Why do we care so much about a foreign conflict 6,000 miles away while our own country suffers from a number of high-profile problems? […] We rightfully empathize with innocent people caught in the crossfire in Ukraine and pray for peace, as Christians are obligated to do, but we should also ask: why does that crisis get more attention than one’s closer to home? Where’s the media empathy and compassion for the tens of thousands of Americans killed by fentanyl brought across our southern border? Or for the explosive sex trafficking increase in our own communities? Or for the inflationary crisis that has made many of our citizens unable to live prosperous lives?

Greenfield: Biden Decides This is the Perfect Time to Screw U.S. Steelworkers
Steel tariffs have been a longstanding issue with the UK. And I’m somewhat sympathetic to both sides of the argument at least when it comes to the UK (not China). But I can’t think of a worse time for Biden to decide to screw American steelworkers and throw away whatever’s left of the Rust Belt.
Then again Biden has already screwed miners and coal miners so why not screw steelworkers too. It’s not like Pennsylvania is a swing state. The U.S. and U.K. struck a trade accord Tuesday that will remove U.S. tariffs on British steel and aluminum, while the U.K. will lift levies on American whiskey, motorcycles and tobacco.

Beverly Hills business owners and residents are on high alert after millions of dollars of high-end jewelry and watches were stolen during a brazen broad daylight smash-and-grab burglary where the suspects used sledgehammers on Tuesday. Police said at least five masked suspects in black and gray hoodies broke through the thick, tempered glass window of Luxury Jewels of Beverly Hills located at the 200 block of South Beverly Drive at about 1:45 p.m. The burglary was captured on video by several onlookers. In one video, a driver who passed by the jewelry store recorded the suspects grabbing items out of the smashed storefront window. Peter Sedjhi, owner of the jewelry store, told The Post he was in his office when he heard what he initially thought were gunshots.

Christenson: Chicago Public Schools Is Masking Kids Again. Its Teachers’ Union Wants More Restrictions.
Studies have shown children are at very low risk of severe illness and death from COVID-19. In-school transmission is also “extremely rare,” according to a peer-reviewed study done by the American Academy of Pediatrics in January 2021. The news comes as the Chicago Teachers Union agitates for a return to universal masking as part of a safety deal it signed with the city in January. Alleged violations of that deal, which ended in a five-day cancellation of classes citywide, prompted the teachers’ union to appeal to the state’s Educational Labor Relations Board. The board declined the union’s request for an emergency injunction but will hear its complaint in June. The safety agreement between the city and teachers’ union expires in August. The safety agreement states all schools must universally mask students and provide universal testing. Any school may also flip to remote learning provided at least 30 percent of teachers are absent for at least two days or at least 40 percent of students have been told to quarantine by the city’s health department.

Lindquist: Nike And YMCA Team Up With OnlyFans Prostitute To Teach Kids Explicit Dancing
One of the organizations sponsoring the sexualized dance instruction for children is in charge of child care for the local public school district. Nike, an OnlyFans creator, the Burbank, California YMCA, and an LGBT activist group teamed up to teach children a style of dance called “vogue,” which is popular in LGBT circles and frequently features sexually explicit acts. The Burbank Social Impact Center, a subdivision of the Burbank YMCA, hosted an event with a performer and OnlyFans creator who goes by the name “Honey Balenciaga.” The event, which was called “Intro to Vogue,” was sponsored by Nike and attended by a number of children. Balenciaga’s Instagram and Tik Tok accounts are replete with highly sexual performances, including some with partial nudity. Some performances bear sexually explicit captions like . . . […] The Burbank YMCA’s Social Impact Center is set to hold another Intro to Vogue lesson, which Balenciaga advertised on his Instagram account as intended for “LGBTQIA+ Middle and High Schoolers.” The post also notes that free transportation from a local high school to the class will be provided by Nike.

Sometimes on the weekends, after I’ve written two to three news cycle-related pieces, I kick back and write about something light. You know, out-of-the-mainstream kinda stuff. Like heterosexuality as we know it, was not only invented, it was invented in1934. OK, not exactly light, but out of the mainstream, just the same. So suggests BBC Future in an article titled “The Invention of ‘Heterosexuality.” Shall we dig in? The 1901 Dorland’s Medical Dictionary defined heterosexuality as an “abnormal or perverted appetite toward the opposite sex.” More than two decades later, in 1923, Merriam Webster’s dictionary similarly defined it as “morbid sexual passion for one of the opposite sex.” It wasn’t until 1934 that heterosexuality was graced with the meaning we’re familiar with today: “manifestation of sexual passion for one of the opposite sex; normal sexuality.” And there you have it, boys and girls. The author then opined, “Whenever I tell this to people, they respond with dramatic incredulity. That can’t be right! Well, it certainly doesn’t feel right. It feels as if heterosexuality has always “just been there.” Um, maybe because heterosexuality has always just been there? […] how long before this insanity makes its way into America’s public education system? God knows it wouldn’t be the first example of an attempt to program young kids. And it is soooo quintessentially leftist; it’s not enough to accept and treat with respect the LGBTQIA community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and agender). The radical left must attack and ultimately destroy heterosexuality. [NOTE: An astute comment following the article: This begs the question, “when did you decide that you didn’t want to have sex with children?” In other words, the normalization of pedophilia has begun and the left is going to push this agenda next, having succeeded in convincing us with outstanding arguments like the one referenced by the article, that heterosexuality is not a choice and so neither is homosexuality.]

In other words, schools would no longer be allowed to groom impressionable children in the sexual trend-du-jour behind parents’ backs. It is simply amazing that we even need a law like this. Back in the day, it would have been unnecessary, as schools were not indoctrination/grooming mills. But sadly, those days are gone. The measure has been dubbed by detractors, including the mainstream media, as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. The Associated Press, NPR, ABC, NBC, and others have labeled it as such. The fact that the word “gay” or “homosexual” never appears in the text doesn’t much matter to any of the gender-crazed social engineers. What the same crowd also doesn’t tell you is that the word “parent” or “parental” gets 39 mentions. The projected law only mentions the terms “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” twice. The misnaming is all part of the groomer’s game plan.
