NOTABLE QUOTES

David Kupelian contributor to World Net Daily: President Ronald Reagan, whose moral clarity and strong leadership brought the Carter-era high inflation to an end, expressed this truth more colorfully: “Inflation is as violent as a mugger, as frightening as an armed robber and as deadly as a hit man.”

Victor Davis Hanson contributor to American Greatness: Yet madness is predictable when the unchecked left-wing’s demand for limitless and endless power collides with a hated, but unremorseful ideological agenda utterly divorced from reality. Put simply, when ideologues demand power but cannot maintain it politically because they are cruel ideologues that destroy what they touch, expect more of their insanity to follow.

Andrew Benjamin contributor to American Thinker: .  . .the Democrats’ thinking and policies will become the cruelest and most arrogant crimes perpetrated against humanity in the modern age.

Fred Fleitz contributor to American Greatness: The Ukraine crisis is a direct result of American weakness under the incoherent foreign policy of Joe Biden. And it also stems from Biden’s decision to subordinate U.S. national security decision-making to Europe and the United Nations. The American people know this and won’t be fooled by recent attempts by liberal pundits and reporters to somehow blame President Trump for Biden’s foreign policy catastrophes or misrepresent the America First approach to national security as unsuccessful or isolationist.

Glenn Greenwald author, journalist and co-founder of The Intercept: As grave of a threat as deliberate war is, unintended escalation from miscommunication and misperception can be as bad. Biden is the perfect vessel for such risks.

Greg Norman post: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday that a remark made by President Joe Biden over the weekend about Vladimir Putin, in which Biden said “for God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power,” is a “statement that is certainly alarming,” Reuters reports. “We will continue to track the statements of the U.S. president in the most attentive way,” Peskov said.

Sundance contributor to The Last  Refuge: The American people’s view on the Ukraine issue are carefully being manipulated for maximum benefit to the foreign policy establishment.  If you do not conform to the pressure, or if you see through the narrative engineering effort, you’re a hater of freedom and a lover of Putin. The American electorate are in an abusive relationship with our government.

Lloyd Billingsley contributor to American Greatness: Vladimir Putin is putting his nuclear forces on full alert, as Democrats call for further reductions on the U.S. side. If these realities have Americans wondering what they should do, here are a couple of things they can try. Flip off Fauci and plead the Fifth Dimension. Go where you want to go, and do what you want to do. Live every day as though it were your last. One day you will be right.

Eric Utter contributor to American Thinker: MasterCard and the United Nations have joined forces to produce a credit card that measures your carbon footprint.  Once you reach your “limit,” you can’t purchase anything else…at least with that card.  Well, isn’t that special?  What’s next?  We may not want to know. But perhaps I’m too cynical.  What could be the downside? Would it prevent the cardholder from purchasing, say, cigarettes?  Put a cap on how much one could spend at a liquor store?  If we were to try to order Glenn Beck’s new book, The Great Reset, from barnesandnoble.com, would it generate a message like “incorrect purchase, authorization not allowed”?  If we wanted to use it to pay for our subscription to the New York Post, would a pop-up notice appear saying, “Transaction disallowed, inappropriate material!”?

Roger Kimball contributor to American Greatness: When average families can no longer pay their rent or mortgage, gas up their car, or even put food on the table, all bets are off. Our rulers think they have anesthetized those portions of the population they have not simply bought off. They might find that there is quite a lot of jump left in the frog yet. If so, they may be the ones in hot water.

J.B. Shurk contributor to American Thinker: Being a Republican voter is no easy thing.  Social media censor you.  Companies fire you.  The Department of Justice persecutes you.  Democrats assault and harass you.  And all the while, most Republican Party “leaders” stand back and do nothing as they watch.  We’ve got the only political party in modern history controlled by a small group of elected officials who fundamentally disagree with the prevailing viewpoints of 90% of the voters who put them in office.  Election after election, their unstated yet indisputable campaign slogan is simply, “Vote for us because we don’t hate you quite as much as the other guys.”  (I’m not even sure that’s true!)

Victoria Taft contributor to PJ Media: According to the memo from the science-y crowd, “It has come to Leadership’s attention from both staff and patients that our name, Family Maternity Center, does not emanate inclusivity. All types of people give birth,” the memo read. “People who identify as women give birth. People who identify outside the gender binary give birth. People with non-traditional family structures give birth. Not all our birthing patients identify as moms or with maternity care.” And yet they’re all “women.” You’re welcome.

Steve Karp contributor to American Thinker: Deception is imposed on us by multiple entities: medical, governmental, legal, or even ecclesiastical.  The media, including mainstream, alternative, and social, is notoriously rife with deception.  Advertising is often just embellishment, not quite deception, and is luckily mostly something we can tune out.

GOP

Shurk: The Hostile Takeover of the Republican Party Will Continue
This disconnect between Republican voters and Republican oligarchs has endured for decades, but I do not think it will survive much longer.  The reason why is that the average Joe has figured out D.C.’s Uniparty game: take one “ruling class” dedicated to power and money and nothing more, divide that small class of swindlers into two nearly identical political parties, pretend those two criminal cabals hate each other when the opposite is true, and present the American people with a choice-in-name-only every election.  You can vote for the Big Government socialists invested in totalitarianism or the Big Government socialists invested in empire and world domination.  (Note: The parties may swap that small distinction depending on the decade.)  That’s American “democracy” in a nutshell — a hallowed ritual for electing criminals to positions of power from where they can commit even grander crimes with impunity in the name of the people.  In exchange for their dedication to fleecing and betraying us, we christen streets, marble halls, and naval vessels after their worst offenders. […]   It’s difficult to look at all this carnage and not ask, as El Salvador’s president has, whether there is a “deliberate plan” to “destroy the U.S. from within.”  Seen from the globalist cartel’s obvious goal of restoring a system of feudalism where a small number of lords can control a continent of serfs, the answer is clear: yes!

Conradson: “Ronna McDaniel Is Trying To Save Her Career After Failing To Do The Right Thing With The 2020 Election.” – GOP Chairwoman Attempts To Take Credit For Scott Presler’s Gas Pump Voter Registration Drive
After letting the Democrats and Joe Biden get away with the rigged and stolen 2020 election, and her continued ignorance of the massive evidence of election fraud, Ronna McDaniel is doing whatever it takes to make it look like she is on our team working hard for the Republican base.  The Gateway Pundit reported this past weekend that Scott Presler organized a massive “weekend of action” with volunteers registering voters at the pump in New York state.  Gas Prices continue to hover at all-time record highs under Joe Biden. The original plan came from a March 8th Tweet by Scott, where he urged patriots to volunteer with him. The tweet received over 5,000 retweets and 19,000 likes.

JUDICIARY

Unruh: Court rules on law giving state surveillance power on private land
A court has ruled that a state practice giving authorities the ability to conduct warrantless trespassing and surveillance on private land is unconstitutional. Officials with the Institute for Justice described it as a victory. “The ruling is not just a victory for Benton County (Tennessee) landowners Terry Rainwaters and Hunter Hollingsworth,” who sued after the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency ignored their “No Trespassing” signs and conducted operations on their private land, the IJ explained. “The victory also applies broadly to private land across Tennessee.” […]  . . . a statement released through his lawyers, said, “The court’s decision to declare TWRA’s constant overreach and abuse of authority unconstitutional is restoring my faith in the justice system.”

Piper: Law students gone wild? Judges threaten to withhold clerkships over free speech shutdowns
Elite law schools that give their student activists carte blanche to disrupt authorized campus events are under scrutiny from legal scholars and even judges. Yale Law School told Just the News that it wouldn’t punish students who continually disrupted a First Amendment event with the conservative Alliance Defending Freedom and liberal American Humanist Association earlier this month, just have a “serious conversation” with them. The University of California Hastings College of Law has not answered queries on whether or how it will punish students for shutting down a debate with libertarian constitutional scholar Ilya Shapiro, which administrators already acknowledged violated campus policy. […]  Student disruptors could face career damage if identified. In email exchanges obtained by Slate legal writer Mark Joseph Stern, federal judges discussed how to respond to the incident at Yale Law, which has produced nine Supreme Court justices. Judge Laurence Silberman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, whom The Wall Street Journal dubbed possibly the most influential non-SCOTUS jurist, asked peers to “carefully consider” whether such students “should be disqualified for potential clerkships.”

THE DEMOCRAT LED WAR ON CHILDREN

Unruh: Lawmakers in 3rd state promoting plan to allow infanticide
Only weeks after Colorado moved aggressively to allow “perinatal” deaths of infants, using a term that could mean abortion before birth or infanticide after birth, California lawmakers are moving forward with the same agenda. Now Decision Magazine is reporting on California’s AB 2223 changes to the state Health and Safety Code that would do the same. […]  The new law would read: “A person shall not be subject to civil or criminal liability or penalty, or otherwise deprived of their rights, based on their actions or omissions with respect to their pregnancy or actual, potential, or alleged pregnancy outcome, including miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion, or perinatal death.” The report explained, “While the bill doesn’t define the term perinatal, most medical dictionaries classify perinatal death as the demise of a baby from the 20th week of gestation to the 28th day of newborn life.

Sadler: Pro-abortion California bill could legalize infanticide for months after birth, attorney warns
A gruesome new pro-abortion bill proposed in California could legalize infanticide for weeks, months, or even years after a child is born, an attorney with the Thomas More Society told LifeSiteNews. AB 2223 was introduced in February as a placeholder for future legislative language amid a raft of pro-abortion proposals advanced by lawmakers, following radically pro-abortion Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom’s promise to make California a “sanctuary” for abortion, Right to Life League reported. On March 17, the bill’s authors submitted updated language to amend existing state laws. […] “Hence, [AB 2223] leaves one to ask: ‘What kind of depraved monsters would justify the killing of innocent and helpless children between one week and two years after their birth?’” LiMandri said. According to LiMandri, the radical legislative proposal “is beyond the pale for any civilized society to even consider, and must be aggressively opposed by all people of conscience who value human life.”

Moore: The COVID Fight Ahead
March 7, 2022 was a big day in New York City. For the first time in nearly two years, children five and older who attended public schools were allowed to come to school without a mask. Though the narrative in NYC around COVID restrictions for children was still one of fear, there were many parents who had fought desperately—in a variety of ways—for a return to normalcy for their children. The end of the K-12 school mask mandate in NYC ushers in a new phase for these moms and dads: one of hope, yes, but uncertainty too. Is the fight to restore sanity over? Have the good guys won? Or have unnecessary COVID mandates and draconian school procedures become codified into the system? Must fighting, for these families, become the new normal? […]  Anastasia Martin is the mother of a three-year-old who was attending a city-funded “3-K” in Queens. When she found out that her child would still have to mask because he was under 5, she said she felt like she’d been “punched in the gut.” She picked her son up from school and never went back. “My plan is to send my children to private school,” says Martin, “but if private schools also go back to masking then I will homeschool.” She may have to.

Downey Jr.: Redo Redux! Follow-up Article on Corruption-Free Redo Voting: You Had Questions, Redo Has Answers!
I recently published an article about Redo Voting, a transparent, unhackable way to vote, or shall I say, a way for legal voters to cast a ballot. It is a Democrats’ nightmare and everyone in Washington, D.C. is talking about it. Our loyal PJ Media readers have overloaded us with comments, critiques, and questions regarding Redo Voting. The dedicated Americans at Redo Voting have taken the time to address the concerns in your comments. Here are the answers to some of your verbatim questions. […]  Q. Does Redo Voting replace paper, in-person ballot casting? A. It can, but it can also reflect in-person accountability or be performed at a polling station. Additionally, Redo Voting is compatible with any voting system in existence. Q. The article did not clarify how the QR code matches up to the individual voter who has obtained one. Nowhere does it say you have to prove you are a registered voter to get a card. Anyone can pick up and scratch-off a card, or a hundred cards. A. The article does not articulate this, but the website does. It is the 14th question under the FAQ tab. • A voter enters the facility and requests a ballot. • The attendant asks for identification (driver’s license or state-issued ID) as if the voter was purchasing
alcohol or cigarettes. • The attendant . . .

Martinez: Kadish:The Russia/Bermuda Dark Money Subterfuge
If there is one thing you can say about the Russians it is that they stick to their proven playbook no matter what carnage they inflict on the innocents or how greatly they deceive the gullible. During the height of the Cold War, they sought to stop America’s introduction of sophisticated weapons that would have blunted any planned invasion of Western Europe by the Red Army by infiltrating the “peace movement” with money and resources. So it should come as no surprise that members of Congress continue to express deep concern that Putin’s Russia may be preventing the West’s energy independence by promoting through third parties, who may be unwilling dupes or active co-conspirators, “green” alternatives that are either impractical, aspirational, or an outright fiction. It has been reported that Russia has been using a legal loophole to actively fund opponents of American energy independence, by funneling untraceable money through an entity in Bermuda, a nation that does require disclosure as to whether funds originated from a foreign government.

BIDEN’S UNCONSTITUTIONAL VACCINE MANDATES

Biden administration ‘plans to give Americans over 50 the option to get a FOURTH Covid shot in the spring and ALL Americans could get a second booster in the fall’
The Biden administration is reportedly planning to giving elderly Americans the option to get a fourth COVID-19 jab this spring.  The White House will soon be offering Americans 50 years and over a second booster shot of either the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, sources told The New York Times.
The second booster is reportedly meant to protect and save lives from the predicted upcoming Covid surge fueled by the Omicron ‘stealth’ variant. But the Biden administration has faced complications because it has not been able to accurately predict when the next COVID-19 wave will hit. Officials reportedly settled on offering everyone 50 and over the option of an additional booster in the event the surge occurs before fall. Then in the fall, Americans of all ages can get the second booster, even the elderly who already got theirs this spring – meaning they could get a fifth jab, The Times reported.

Hinderaker: INTERNATIONAL CONDEMNATION OF JOE BIDEN
Joe Biden’s call for regime change in Russia, which likely was a manifestation of his worsening dementia, has caused consternation around the world. Joe Biden is facing an international backlash from his own allies after calling for regime change in Russia.Emmanuel Macron led a chorus of disapproval following the US president’s comments, in which he called Vladimir Putin a “butcher” and insisted the Russian premier “cannot remain in power”. Downing Street said it was for the Russian people to choose their leader, while Mr Biden’s own secretary of state contradicted the president in an attempt to limit the diplomatic fallout. A senior US diplomat said . . . A Downing Street spokesman said . . .

Sundance: Joe Biden Just Implied the 82nd Airborne Is Going Into Ukraine – “You are going to see when you are there”
During his remarks, Joe Biden stated the troops are going to see heroic acts by the ordinary men and women of Ukraine.  He directly implied the 82nd airborne unit was going into Ukraine, and stated, “You are going to see when you are there.”  Standing next to Biden while those statements were made, is U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.  No one attempted to stop Biden from publicly saying we were sending troops into Ukraine.  WATCH (prompted): . . .

Saavedra: White House Rushes To Clean Up Disastrous Remarks Biden Made About Putin During Speech
“A dictator, bent on rebuilding an empire, will never erase the people’s love for liberty,” Biden said on Saturday at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. “Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia, for free people refuse to live in a world of hopelessness and darkness. For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”
The White House had to quickly clean up the president’s remarks after they were widely interpreted in reports as him calling for regime change in Russia. […]  The administration also had to clean up remarks that Biden made in Poland on Friday when he appeared to tell U.S. soldiers that they would be getting deployed to Ukraine, which would represent a serious escalation in the ongoing conflict, and would draw NATO into the war against Russia. ABC News reported that Biden “raised eyebrows when he appeared to tell the group that American troops will be going into Ukraine, though he has repeatedly said that he will not send troops there.”

(H/T DG) Greenwald: Biden’s Reckless Words Underscore the Dangers of the U.S.’s Use of Ukraine As a Proxy War
The central question for Americans from the start of the war in Ukraine was what role, if any, should the U.S. government play in that war? A necessarily related question: if the U.S. is going to involve itself in this war, what objectives should drive that involvement? Prior to the U.S.’s jumping directly into this war, those questions were never meaningfully considered. Instead, the emotions deliberately stoked by the relentless media attention to the horrors of this war — horrors which, contrary to the West’s media propaganda, are common to all wars, including its own — left little to no space for public discussion of those questions. The only acceptable modes of expression in U.S. discourse were to pronounce that the Russian invasion was unjustified, and, using parlance which the 2011 version of Chris Hayes correctly dismissed as adolescent, that Putin is a “bad guy.” Those denunciation rituals, no matter how cathartic and applause-inducing, supplied no useful information about what actions the U.S. should or should not take when it came to this increasingly dangerous conflict. […]  Hovering above all of these grave dangers is the question of why? What interests does the U.S. have in Ukraine that are sufficiently vital or substantial to justify trifling with risks of this magnitude? Why did the U.S. not do more to try to diplomatically avert this horrific war, instead seemingly opting for the opposite: namely, discouraging Ukrainian President Zelensky from pursuing such talks on the alleged grounds of futility and rewarding Russian aggression, and not even exploring whether a vow of non-NATO-membership for Ukraine would suffice? How does growing U.S. involvement in this war benefit the people of the United States, particularly as they were already — before this war — weighed down by the dual burdens of pandemic-based economic depravations and rapidly escalating inflation?

War Room: Jason Miller on the Biden Family Crime Syndicate
Jason Miller, former Trump assistant and current CEO of Gettr, joins Steve Bannon in the War Room to talk about the world events that will determine Joe Biden’s future. With the new information coming from Hunter Biden’s laptop, it is now apparent that the Biden family had a role in funding bio-research labs in Ukraine. Miller asserts that this is the latest proof of Biden guilt, and says that every death in Ukraine since the Russian invasion can be blamed on Joe Biden and his family.

Greenfield: How Democrats Made America Dependent on Russian Uranium
In December 2016, on his way out the door, Barack Obama announced that he was inventing the Bears Ears “National Monument” on over a million acres of land. While California environmentalists celebrated, tens of thousands of locals bitterly protested the move. Billboards and stickers reading #RescindBearsEars were plastered across Utah towns in the area that expected catastrophic consequences from the destruction of their livelihoods. Among these was uranium mining. A uranium mine in the area has the potential to yield 500,000 pounds of uranium. Miners warned that the Bears Ears monument would force us to rely more heavily on foreign uranium. But the Democrats, still busy blaming their election defeat on some sort of phantom Russian-Trump conspiracy, did not see any problem with making America dependent on Russia. The Trump administration did not rescind Obama’s power grab, but did shrink the monument by over 80%. […]  The Clinton administration’s euphemistic “mining reform” push already devastated mining in America. As the Wall Street Journal noted at the time, mining firms were “leaving the United States with the blessings, if not open encouragement, of the Clinton administration.”
And with the blessing of the Clintons, America became dependent on foreign resources.

Kupelian: Bidenflation, muggers, armed robbers and hit men
Can you think of anything you buy regularly that hasn’t increased in price more than 7.9% over the last year? Of course not. Let’s go a little deeper and ask why all this is happening. If inflation is viewed only through an economic lens – citing the various contributing economic and monetary factors, from government spending and low interest rates to supply-chain issues and pandemic lockdowns – the larger and deeper truth gets lost. What is occurring in America’s economy today must be viewed in the context of the ruling Democrats’ total obsession with, and addiction to, permanent power, as well as the larger globalist dream they share of “the great reset” and the radical “green” agenda. In short, to America’s Democratic Party leadership, which has largely been taken over by the hard-core revolutionary Left, everything is about power and privilege for themselves and the unattainable and impossible (not to mention totalitarian and tyrannical) utopia they dream of leading. Historically, whether considering hyperinflation nightmares like Weimar Germany, Venezuela or Zimbabwe (where President Robert Mugabe famously issued hundred-trillion-dollar bills), or societies plagued with less extreme inflation, the cause is always the same: A lawless government wants to spend money it does not have for the sake of increasing its power. So it simply prints much more money (however complex and deliberately obfuscating the mechanism it employs for creating, “borrowing” and spending the new “money” into circulation), which naturally dilutes the value of the rest of the money out in society, i.e., the wealth people actually earned and saved through years of hard work and personal sacrifice. Inflation, as legendary economist Thomas Sowell put it, “is a way to take people’s wealth from them without having to openly raise taxes. Inflation is the most universal tax of all.” […] President Ronald Reagan, whose moral clarity and strong leadership brought the Carter-era high inflation to an end, expressed this truth more colorfully: “Inflation is as violent as a mugger, as frightening as an armed robber and as deadly as a hit man.”

(On the path to socialized medicine) Schieber: Democrats seek more medical control by axing Obamacare alternatives
The Biden administration wants to crack down on Short Term Limited Duration Insurance (STLDI) and Democrat senators are urging the Department of Health and Human Services to move more quickly. STLDI plans “sow confusion and cause harm to patients,” wrote Sens. Tammy Baldwin (D-WS), Michael Murphy (D-CT), and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) in a letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra on February 14. The letter was signed by 37 of their Democrat colleagues and independent Sens. Angus King (ME) and Bernie Sanders (VT). Why the attack? In their letter, the Senators point out that a record 14.5 million Americans signed up for Obamacare plans during the most recent Open Enrollment period and STLDI could derail that momentum. […]  Specifically, the senators want to restrict the plans to a three-month duration with no renewal option when the policies expire. They want to eliminate the chance to immediately buy a different STLDI plan after one expires. They also want to ban sales of STLDI plans during the ACA open enrollment period, limit their sales online and by phone, prohibit retroactive coverage rescissions, and require insurers to disclose more details on the plans.

(From 11/20 – Your future under socialized medicine) Flanders: Rationed health care advocate Ezekiel Emanuel named to presumptive Biden COVID-19 task force
Emanuel co-authored “Principles for allocation of scarce medical interventions,” in which he makes the case for The Complete Lives System. This system of “allocating” health care (Emanuel likely won’t be found using the word “rationing” because of its negative socialist connotations) favors “younger people who have not yet lived a complete life….” He wrote that this system “also supports modifying the youngest-first principle by prioritising adolescents and young adults over infants (figure).” Adolescents have received substantial education and parental care,” he argued, “investments that will be wasted without a complete life. Infants, by contrast, have not yet received these investments.” The Complete Lives System also favors healthy young persons over those with a “poor prognosis.” Emanuel wrote, “A young person with a poor prognosis has had few life-years but lacks the potential to live a complete life. Considering prognosis forestalls the concern that disproportionately large amounts of resources will be directed to young people with poor prognoses. When the worst-off can benefit only slightly while the better-off people could benefit greatly, allocating to the better-off is often justifiable.”

Touret: The COVID Hall of Shame — So Far
Looking back on two years of the Pandemic, which moments — which decisions, which deceptions, which outrages — merit the COVID Hall of Shame? It’s not an easy choice. Candidate 1: The death sentence for nursing home patients. It was known from the outset that COVID was most often fatal for elderly people in poor health. A locus of fatalities in March 2020 was a single nursing home in Washington State — it was right there on the Johns Hopkins website. Yet, Democrat governors Wolf, Cuomo, Witmer, Murphy, and Newsom ordered chronically-ill senior citizens with COVID discharged to nursing homes.[…]
Candidate 2: Demonization of existing drugs that treat COVID  When some enterprising soul discovers an existing treatment for a new health threat, he or she usually becomes an overnight hero, especially when the treatment is safe, cheap, and widely available. When President Trump spoke of the promise of hydroxychloroquine for treating COVID-19, the national media scoffed, because they considered Trump an ignoramus.

Piper: White House belatedly concedes COVID spreads primarily through aerosols
COVID-19 spreads primarily through aerosols, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) said in a blog post Wednesday that puts it at odds with the CDC, according to a research center run by President Biden’s former COVID advisor Michael Osterholm. The University of Minnesota’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) said the White House was “years” behind some experts worldwide in recognizing the primacy of aerosol transmission. “It’s worth noting there is no mention of droplets in the blog post,” George Washington University public health epidemiologist David Michaels told CIDRAP. The CDC maintains that “respiratory fluids” – droplets – are the “principal mode” of transmission, distinguishing them from “aerosol particles formed when these fine droplets rapidly dry.” CIDRAP research consultant Lisa Brosseau faulted the agency for “underplay[ing]” the science of aerosol transmission “despite so much evidence to the contrary.”
