Burroughs: Supreme Court To Hear Case About Football Coach Fired Over Praying

Joseph Kennedy, a Marine veteran, was an assistant football coach for the Bremerton High School (BHS) varsity team in 2008 when he started a tradition of kneeling and praying after games. Some students later volunteered to join him. In 2015, a school administrator addressed the issue with the coach after an opposing team complained. “I think I just might have been fired for praying,” Kennedy would later post on Facebook. […] The Supreme Court sent the case back U.S. District Judge Ronald Leighton, who again sided with the school district in 2020, as did the 9th Circuit in mid-2021. Attorneys with First Liberty and Kirkland & Ellis refiled the case at the U.S. Supreme Court in September 2021 and the high court agreed in January to hear it.

The Galveston National Laboratory – a project of Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, granting the Chinese lab the right to make its American counterpart “destroy and/or return the secret files, materials and equipment without any backups.” The National Pulse has previously unearthed the Texas-based lab’s multi-year collaborative relationship with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, including hosting exchange programs and training researchers at the lab’s Biosafety Level 4 (BSL) facility. Directors from the Wuhan lab and the Galveston National Laboratory, which describes itself as “constructed under grants awarded by [Fauci’s] National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID),” have admitted to working with the “world’s most dangerous pathogens” in 2018.

After my last visit to see my doctor, it was clear that Dr. Fauci was guilty of medical tyranny. I was required to wear a mask. All the staff were required to wear masks, though many wore the mask below the nose – one wonders if that does any good at all. When I asked my doctor if they were going to be the last to eliminate the mask requirement he told me that it depended on what the local hospital required. When I talked to the hospital, I was informed that they have to require masks because if they did not follow the CDC directives, the federal government would cut off their Medicare payments. The CDC generally follows the lead of Dr. Fauci, and most of the world and the World Health Organization follow the lead of the American CDC. So, one man, Dr. Anthony Fauci, substantially affects the policies of the CDC, which controls the policies of the various private sector hospitals, which controls the policies of the local doctors and their medical practices.

Total credit market debt of all varieties — federal, state, local, household, financial and nonfinancial – has ballooned from 330 percent of gross domestic product in 1960 to over 900 percent of gross domestic product in 2021. Adjusting for the size of the economy and for inflation, we now have three times as much credit and debt as we had in 1960. In many ways, credit can be a wonderful thing. It can enable a worker of meager financial means to acquire a motor vehicle that will allow him to take a job otherwise inaccessible to him via public transportation. It can enable a young married couple to buy a house and to build equity in that house over the 30-year term of the mortgage or deed of trust. Credit can enable an entrepreneur to buy a business and to do a better job of running the business than the previous owner was able to do. […] But what happens if, for whatever reason, credit and debt (the mirror side of credit) begin to decline on a nationwide basis?

Omar is a cosponsor of the Combating International Islamophobia Act, which the House passed in December. The bill calls upon the president to . . .[…] Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pennsylvania) also warned that the bill would be used “to silence dissent and critiques of terrorism.” He added: “By intentionally leaving the definition of ‘Islamophobia’ blank in this bill, the gentlelady and my friends on the other side of the aisle are creating an office in our State Department that will likely spew antisemitic hatred and attack Western ideas throughout the world under the farce of protecting Islam.” That would be just fine with Imran Khan, who has been doing just that for quite some time. For years, he has been campaigning for the West to adopt Sharia blasphemy laws and restrict the freedom of speech under the guise of prohibiting “Islamophobia.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will appear in drag queen show “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” according to a Paramount+ announcement Friday. The show premiers on May 20, and follows previous drag competition winners in a “tournament of champions,” The Hill reported Friday. Pelosi appeared in a commercial for the show for only a few seconds where she is seen asking “Can I get an amen?” which is one of the host’s iconic lines.

McCpy: Drag Syndrome, Another TikTok Frontier of Degeneracy

In 2019, a performance by a dance troupe at the Tanglefoot Building in Grand Rapids attracted controversy after the site’s owner canceled the event. The reason was that the troupe was composed of drag queens and kings, and all were adults with Down Syndrome. The event space owner was Peter Meijer, then a Republican candidate for the House of Representatives. After brief outrage, the story was forgotten, but Drag Syndrome has continued to market their “craft” through—what else?—TikTok. When I learned there were drag performers with Down Syndrome on TikTok, needless to say, I was shocked but not surprised. The app seems to be a bottomless pit crawling with narcissistic attention seekers trying to outdo one another with daring stunts, cute pet videos, salacious rumors, and perversions of the human condition. The issue of what level of sexual expression Down Syndrome patients possess is not a cut-and-dried proposition. The National Down Syndrome Society has published guidance stating: . . . […] But given their intellectual disabilities, youth and adults with this condition are easy targets for sexual abuse and exploitation. Indeed, data published in 2011 from the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs show that they suffer the highest rate of sexual assault (2.6 out of 1,000 persons) and violent crime (16.8 out of 1,000 persons).

Concerned Citizen: It’s Finally Time for GOP Lawmakers to Expose the Dark Side of the Disney Regime Once and For All

Many Americans might be surprised to learn that Disney’s war against DeSantis’ anti-groomer law exists within a context of a long history of questionable conduct on the part of the company. Few these days remember that “Clinton Cash” author Peter Schweizer wrote a bombshell investigative exposé in 1999 on Walt Disney World called “Disney: The Mouse Betrayed.” The explosive book caught the eye of Brian Ross, ABC’s top investigative reporter. He landed an exclusive contract with the publisher of the book and quickly began working with Schweizer on a piece for the news show 20/20. Schweizer’s book alleged very serious safety and hiring problems at Florida’s Walt Disney World, and also centered on mass corruption, greed, and children at risk. The 20/20 piece focused on the book’s claim that Walt Disney World neglected to perform proper security checks that would have prevented the hiring of sex offenders, as well as allegations that the park had a serious “peeping Tom” problem. And as you’d expect from Schweizer’s work, the book included copies of police reports from alleged pedophiles who were working at the park. […] Year after year, Disney employees are arrested in sex sting operations set up by local authorities and for possessing child pornography. And it’s not just random maintenance workers with no interaction with kids who are being arrested. Many of these alleged child predators are security guards, hotel staff, performers, and other workers who come in close contact with children every day.

Once, the Greek philosopher and dead white male, Socrates, taught that “To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom.” True, in the past one might have written the preceding as “Once Socrates famously taught”; however, given the postmodern, know-nothing Left, notably its Manichean minions in academia, one no longer enjoys the luxury of such assumptions. Indeed, Socrates’ teaching is not merely dismissed by our lettered “betters”; his teaching is the target of their exorbitantly expensive, taxpayer-fueled indoctrination factories. (Spare me the “some universities are private”; with the notable exception of places like Hillsdale College and Grove City College, all of these institutions take some measure of federal funds—either through student loans or otherwise.) America’s institutions of higher learning are the avowed enemies of critical thinking, which is vastly different than the warmed-over communist, agitprop ladled out as “critical [fill-in the Leftist cause] theory.” The former is education; the latter is indoctrination. In days of yore when higher learning stalked the leafy autumnal grounds of academe, these institutions treated coeds as adults. This made eminent sense, as the goal was to educate and, critically, to empower the individual with the ability to think. Then hope was that the end result would lead to the coed becoming an independent, self-reliant adult, able to fit his mind to the world regardless of what life threw at him. Not so much today.

Brown: Transgender writer under fire for burning J.K. Rowling alive in ‘vile’ horror novel

A transgender novelist has come under fire after penning a self-confessed “depraved psychosexual horrorshow” in which J.K. Rowling is burned alive in her home. Gretchen Felker-Martin’s debut novel, “Manhunt,” follows two trans women “attempting to survive in a world ravaged by a plague which transforms anyone with enough testosterone in their system into a shrieking monstrosity.” They find themselves at war with “TERFs,” the derogatory acronym for so-called trans-exclusionary radical feminists — including the “Knights of J.K. Rowling.” The protagonists then talk about “the Harry Potter lady,” referring to Rowling, 56, who has received death threats for her comments about biological sex and the transgender community. […] The Massachusetts-based author brags about writing “the most disgusting books in the English language, books about sexual revulsion, about body horror, about how violence forms and fits into our lives.” She also routinely tweets about her book’s violent fantasy about Rowling, who has become a regular target for extremist trans activists. […] “Manhunt” is the best-seller in Amazon’s “LGBTQ+ Horror Fiction” genre — but around a quarter of the reviews give it the lowest one-star rating, some ripping it as “rape fantasy” and “misogynistic trash.” […] Women’s rights campaigners have also attacked the book as dangerous.

The WHO said: ‘It is not yet clear if there has been an increase in hepatitis cases, or an increase in awareness of hepatitis cases that occur at the expected rate but go undetected.’ However, other scientists have suggested the amount of severe cases in children is unusual. Richard Pebody, who heads the high threats pathogen team at the WHO, told STAT News: ‘Although the numbers aren’t big, the consequences have been quite severe. ‘It’s important that countries look.’ None of the cases have been caused by any of the five typical strains of the virus — hepatitis A, B, C, D and E. Experts say the cases may be linked to a virus commonly associated with colds, known as an adenovirus, but that further research is ongoing. ‘While adenovirus is a possible hypothesis, investigations are ongoing for the causative agent,’ WHO said. […] British scientists have suggested that lockdowns may have played a contributing role, weakening children’s immunity and leaving them at heightened risk of adenovirus. Others said the cases may be the result of a virus that has acquired ‘unusual mutations’. Professor Graham Cooke, an expert in infectious diseases at Imperial College London, said it is unlikely Covid was responsible.

A bill making its way through the California legislature has been dubbed the “Infanticide Bill” by opponents and legal experts who say it would decriminalize the killing of babies after birth. The bill, AB 2223, passed the Assembly Health Committee on a 11-3 vote on Tuesday. […] The article quotes the following legal experts, all based in California, who contend that AB 2223 would essentially legalize infanticide: . . . […] Minor amendments to the bill, such as adding a “pregnancy-related cause” qualifier have not alleviated concerns, because of their ambiguity, which might excuse infanticide if a child survives an abortion or a mother feels her emotional health suffered as a result of giving birth to a child.
