NOTABLE QUOTES
Karen Hunt contributor to American Greatness: Whatever else you might think of Trump, he didn’t talk “upside down.” When he said, “They’re not after me they’re after you,” that was straight talk. No one is standing in the gate to protect us from this growing tidal wave of hate. It is up to us to protect ourselves and our children by speaking up before it is too late.
Jennifer Margulis & Joe Wang writing for The Epoch Times report Pfizer profits for Covid vaccination of children: This current CDC recommendation of vaccinating 20 million “children 6 months through 5 years of age” would add about $780,000,000 per year to the industry. In addition, some 3,600,000 million babies are born in the United States each year. If all these children were vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two times a year with their shot, Pfizer would stand to earn some $70,200,000 every six months, or $140,400,000 a year. But that’s not all. This same company makes a medication to treat COVID, Paxlovid, which has earned them enormous profits as well. Indeed, the company recently estimated that it will earn some $22 billion from the anti-viral.
Joseph Pearce contributor to The Imaginative Conservative: All nations, small and great alike, are an obstacle to globalism. It is for this reason that true nationalism, as distinct from imperialism, is a necessary political response to the global elites and their efforts to erode national sovereignty and corrode national cultures. Against the globalist imposition of a bland one-size-fits-all global monoculture, the multifarious nations of the world represent authentic multiculturalism. As Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn reminds us, the nations of the world are beautiful flowers in God’s garden. They should be preserved and protected and fought for.
Jordon Boyd staff writer for The Federalist: Fourteen Republican senators betrayed their voter base on Tuesday night when they voted to advance a gun control bill that concedes key constitutional ground to Democrats and their gun-grabbing wish list.
David Harsanyi senior editor at The Federalist: It’s clear that the “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act” was written in a rush by politicians far more interested in “doing something” about guns than proposing any well-considered ideas. That’s surely the reason the Senate took a procedural vote only a few hours after releasing the text, and why they’ll probably pass the bill in a few days. It’s going to take years, however, to figure out how it all works. The bill’s numerous vague, open-ended provisions will almost surely be abused by prosecutors, cops, aggrieved family members, exes, and political opponents. And, in the meantime, the likelihood that any of its provisions will help mitigate mass shootings is very small.
Shawn Fleetwood intern at The Federalist: Whether it’s our politics or our culture, many conservatives often wonder how America could’ve reached the point where multi-trillion spending packages and choosing your sex have become normalized. What ever happened to that shining city on the hill that Reagan talked about? How has the left taken so much ground in such a short period of time? The simple fact is that when only one side is playing to advance their values and ideology using the current framework, society tends to devolve pretty quickly. As a result of weak-kneed Republicans who have refused to fight for the ideals that have defined our country for generations, America has declined into the vapid and increasingly Godless state we find her in today.
Robert Busek contributor to The Federalist reports on Biden’s Department of Education’s newly created National Parents and Families Engagement Council: At best, this council represents a purely symbolic gesture meant to deflect attention from the systemic issues confronting American education with a body that will do little more than rubber-stamp platitudes meant to mollify discontented parents. At worst, it is an integral part of the Democrats’ continuing effort to centralize power over education by dictating curricula and limiting school choice. Biden’s new council will grant legitimacy to the liberal brainwashing of youth by implying that parents support such moves — thus silencing dissent.
Daniel Greenfield contributor to Frontpage Magazine: “Google knows about this problem,” Lloyd concluded. “Managers know full well that a destructive cult, a group credibly alleged to be involved in the sexual abuse of possibly hundreds of followers, including children, has significant influence over an important team within the company. Yet they turn a blind eye.” Google covertly removed its old motto, “Don’t be evil”, from its corporate code of conduct. If the allegations are true, its corporate conduct shows why that’s no longer on the books.
Richard E. Vatz and Jeffrey A. Schaler contributors to American Thinker: The basic bipartisan agreement among senators to ensure a filibuster-proof deal to reduce mass gun violence includes billions of dollars of mental health investments, such as expanding nationwide mental health and addiction services. What do mental health and mental illness have to do with mass murders and increasing violence in society? Virtually nothing, we would argue. Having mental health “experts” look at many people to determine who is a threat is an exercise in futility. There has never been a major study that indicates that such experts can discern who is dangerous or not dangerous better than laypeople. Our late colleague and friend, psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Szasz, spent sixty years of his life pounding home the chasm between mind (behavior) and disease (physical cell abnormality).
Selim Algar reporter for the New York Post: The Centers for Disease Control and Florida health officials are warning of a “historic” meningococcal outbreak among gay and bisexual men that has killed seven and severely sickened 24 others. The alarming surge in cases had led the CDC to recommend vaccines for all gay and bisexual men in the Sunshine State. The agency characterized the ongoing transmissions “as one of the worst outbreaks of meningococcal disease among gay and bisexual men in US history.”
NARAL a pro-abortion organization redefines feminism in a tweet: If your feminism doesn’t include trans women and girls, it’s not feminism. If your feminism doesn’t understand how anti-trans policies disproportionately impact BIPOC folks, particularly Black trans women and girls, it’s not feminism

Schlichter: The Case for Donald Trump 2024
Time for some real talk. There are a lot of Republicans with doubts about President Trump running again in 2024, and you hear it often when conservatives gather together. They worry that him going Grover Cleveland could spoil a sure thing, but that’s not necessarily so. Whether you love Donald Trump, or whether you doubt him – if you hate him, shut up and go back to the Bulwark offices with the other losers – you need to look hard at the facts. We’re not progressives who let our feelz control us, and we must ruthlessly assess our own potential courses of action when it comes to replacing that desiccated old pervert masquerading as our president. We must look at his downside, but also his upside – and he has one. The fact is that Donald Trump 2024 has a reasonable chance to beat anyone the Democrats launch at him – hell, in ’16 he defied the conventional wisdom to crush Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit, the Smartest Woman Ever Was, and there are a lot of reasons why he might well pummel whatever pea-brained nimrod the Dems deploy against him in 2024. Let’s look where all smart tacticians will look first – at logistics.

Schlichter: The Case Against Donald Trump 2024
I recently set out the case for Donald Trump in 2024. There are important factors in his favor that support him trying yet again, but in GOP circles, a growing contingent of America First Republicans hope that Donald J. Trump chooses not to run again (I give him a 50/50 chance of throwing his red hat in the ring based upon what I know). The libs want him to, certainly. They think beating him will kill off the conservative-populist revolt. But what the libs do not get – because they do not want to get it – is that Trump is not our movement but, rather, the avatar of it. It is separate from him and will exist long after he retires to Mar-a-Lago for good. But why do a large number of hardcore cons feel it’s time for him to retire? As ruthlessly focused warriors for conservatism, we need to look hard at the whole picture before deciding if Trump 2.0 can be a thing. […] The first problem for Trump is that the enemy hates him.

Fox News Staff: Senators only given moments to read gun bill before voting on it: Sen Mike Lee
Sen. Mike Lee discussed how the voting process went in regard to a recent gun control bill and how 14 GOP Senators advanced it on “The Ingraham Angle.” SEN. MIKE LEE: This is a bill that we saw for the first time just a few minutes before we were asked to vote on it… This is one of the problems with what Mark Levin describes as crony federalism, where Congress doesn’t want to legislate it in an area. So we’ll pay the states to do it and we’ll pay the states to do it in a way that gives us plausible deniability from whatever bad things they do.

Widburg: The Senate ‘gun safety’ bill is worse even than I thought
Yesterday, I swiftly perused the compromise “gun safety” bill that the Democrats and RINOs crafted. My conclusion was that most of the provisions were useless and that it was unlikely that face-saving constitutional demands in the provision funding red flag laws would matter given that judges would invariably rule for seizing guns just to be on the safe side. The Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) scrutinized the bill more closely and, with its deep knowledge of existing gun policies and their effectiveness (or risk to gun owners) rendered its verdict: “This bill chills the right to keep and bear arms….” Because the FPC wants its message to get out there, I don’t feel like a cheat simply blocking and quoting its list of problems with the bill: Enhanced background checks Seeking juvenile records for purchasers under 21 requires the engagement of numerous agencies and will cause delays to access of the right. Adding 7 days from the current 3 for National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) to respond for just this one population is unequal treatment under the law based solely on age. Red Flag Laws Incentivizes local disarmament proceedings, of which many states currently employ secret ex-parte hearings. Calls only for standards equivalent only to civil court. For all the bluster in the measure about protecting due process and the constitutional rights of the subjects of the hearings during the “appropriate phase”, it implies that states will still be able to hold secret ex-parte hearings to deprive the People of their rights. Entitles the subject to an attorney “at the appropriate phase”, but it must be at the subject’s expense. Private Sales . . . […] New Misdemeanor Firearms Prohibitions . . . […] Transfers and Straw Purchases . . .

Vatz & Schaler: Psychiatric Failure in Confronting Mass Murderers
Our late colleague and friend, psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Szasz, spent sixty years of his life pounding home the chasm between mind (behavior) and disease (physical cell abnormality). We are addressing here the issue in light of the almost ubiquitously reckless and irresponsible use of the terms “mental health” and “mental illness.” Pundits and those social scientists considered experts on the matter use the terms mental health and mental illness as if they are causal agents which account for why people act in socially desirable and undesirable ways. In fact, they are usually terms only of inference, implying good/bad and socially valued/disvalued thinking, opinions and conduct. Szasz and his supporters submitted that neither empirically exists: mental illness nor mental health. They are both metaphors, metaphors masquerading as medical realities. Diagnoses of mental illness are subjective judgments of behavior. Diagnoses of real disease, such as those made by pathologists and used in nosology, are made on the basis of cellular abnormality. The latter is objective; the former is subjective.

Tucker Carlson: Republican leaders are siding with Joe Biden
Joe Biden is the weakest, most unpopular leader of our lifetime. He’s also the most destructive. Now, that’s not a partisan assessment. That’s not the opinion of a right-wing talk show. That is the view of the overwhelming majority of American voters. Biden’s malicious ineptitude is so overwhelming that it is single-handedly changing American politics and everywhere there are signs of it, signs of a massive generational realignment taking shape, taking shape in response to the disasters this administration has created. The old coalitions are crumbling before our eyes. […] At the very moment that Joe Biden is at his weakest, months before a pivotal midterm election, Republicans are propping him up. They are saving Biden from himself. Since the day Biden was elected, Republicans in Washington have taken Biden’s side on virtually every significant item in his policy agenda. That would include: COVID restrictions, vaccine mandates, transgender ideology in school, sanctions against China, the January 6 charade, free speech, civil liberties, spying by the Intel agencies, preserving the big tech monopolies, the anti-White race politics of CRT and Juneteenth, border enforcement and energy policy, and above all, the administration’s signature issue: its lunatic and reckless support for the war on Ukraine. Republicans are all-n. […] The lesson that Mitch McConnell draws from Uvalde is that we must ignore the details of what actually happened there and ignore the gun crime in the cities where it’s actually taking place, ignore all of that, and instead disarm law-abiding citizens who have not been charged with any crime. Here’s Mitch McConnell. SENATE MINORITY LEADER MITCH MCCONNELL: Senator Cornyn, who as you know, asked to be the point person on our side to see if we can come to an outcome after these horrible school shootings. For myself, I’m comfortable with the framework and if the legislation ends up reflecting what the framework indicates, I’ll be supportive. “I’ll be supportive.” How many people who voted for Mitch McConnell in Kentucky are supportive of this? 20%? That may be high, but yesterday, just a few hours after the text of this gun confiscation bill was released, the Senate voted on it, just a few hours. Why? Well, John Cornyn said there was simply no time to allow anyone to read the bill, even people voting on it, or to try to understand what was in it. A reporter last night overheard John Cornyn again, the senator from Texas, a Republican, say this and we’re quoting, “It’s only 80 pages long. How long do you need to read it?” Then John Cornyn appeared in front of cameras to explain the Senate cannot pass this bill soon enough.

Olson: Bipartisan Senate gun bill gets icy reception from House Republicans
“Since Biden’s election, Democrats have failed at every level. There’s literally only one way Republicans can lose the midterms,” Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., said in a press conference. “That’s exactly what these 14 RINOs, Republicans in name only, have done in the Senate.” She called the bill unconstitutional and said Republicans would try to defund it if it passes. Officially titled the “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act,” the senators involved in the bill released the final text of it Tuesday night after weeks of negotiations. […] Fox News is told the floor is five to six GOP yeas. But that number could grow as high as 15-17 GOP yeas.

Guzman & Oliveira: ‘You have mass stabbings, lady’: Marjorie Taylor Greene slams British journalist in heated debate over tighter gun laws and tells her: ‘Go back to your country’
The outspoken Republican, 48, became verbally aggressive towards the reporter at a press conference on Wednesday after she pointed out the UK doesn’t ‘have mass shootings’ nor the Second Amendment. Green, had just stepped away from the microphone, leaving the audience with a curt statement toward the gallery of reporters about how it’s ‘our job to defend the Second Amendment’ when the journalist rebuked her statement. ‘We don’t have guns in the UK, that is true, but we don’t have mass shootings either,’ the unidentified journalist said. ‘And our children aren’t scared to go to school.’ The controversial politician loudly shot back: ‘You have mass stabbings, lady. You have all kinds of murder and you’ve got laws against that.’ […] The Georgia peach proudly displayed the clip on her Twitter page on Wednesday evening, writing: ‘When British press wants to argue about our God-given American gun rights, my answer is: ‘Go back to your own country.”

Patteson: Jan. 6 committee delays final hearings to July, citing ‘new evidence’
The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot is punting its final two live hearings scheduled next week to July after receiving a “deluge of new evidence.” “The Select Committee continues to receive additional evidence relevant to our investigation into the violence of January 6th and its causes,” a spokesperson told ABC News on Wednesday. “Following tomorrow’s hearing, we will be holding additional hearings in the coming weeks. We will announce dates and times for those hearings soon.” Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) later confirmed the move to reporters, revealing that the hearings have been pushed back after the committee received footage from documentary filmmaker Alex Holder – who filmed former President Donald Trump and his family before and after the Capitol riot – documents from the National archives, and new tips that came in during the first four live hearings held the past two weeks.

Cleveland: J6 Committee Focuses On Election Fraud Claims While Ignoring Tactics Used To Rig The 2020 Election
But stealing an election by fraud is not the only way to rig an outcome. Elections are rigged when systemic violations of election law occur, disparately favoring one candidate and allowing for tens of thousands of illegal votes to be counted. And the election was rigged with every illegal drop box placed in Democrat-heavy precincts. The election was rigged when the Pennsylvania legislature unconstitutionally authorized no-excuse absentee voting and when Philadelphia clerks illegally inspected ballots and then told Democrat activists which voters needed to cure their ballots for their votes to count.
The election was rigged when Wisconsin election officials ignored the state election code, telling voters they were “indefinitely confined” because of Covid and that nursing homes could ignore Wisconsin’s requirement that special voting deputies oversee elections in residential facilities.

Prestigiacomo: ‘Planned Parenthood Insurrectionists’: Abortion Supporters Take Over Wisconsin Capitol Building
Planned Parenthood and abortion activists took over the Wisconsin state Capitol building on Wednesday, as the GOP was set to uphold a pro-life law that will take effect if the Roe v. Wade decision is overturned. Governor Tony Evers (D-WI) signed an executive order this month calling for the special session to repeal a 173 year-old ban on abortion, The Cap Times reported, noting, “While the governor has the authority to call lawmakers into a special session, lawmakers are not obligated to take action on any bills.” “Whose choice? Our choice!” dozens, if not hundreds of protesters chanted inside the Capitol rotunda, protesting the GOP’s expected refusal to overturn the ban. “If we don’t get it, shut it down! If we don’t get it, shut it down! If we don’t get it, shut it down!”

Margulis & Wang: Good For Profits, Bad For Kids: The CDC’s Recommendation to Vaccinate 6-Month-Old Babies Highly Problematic, Here’s Why
On Saturday, June 18, just in time for Father’s Day, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a media statement recommending that “all children 6 months through 5 years of age should receive a COVID-19 vaccine.” The statement continues: “This expands eligibility for vaccination to nearly 20 million additional children.” […] Each vaccine on the CDC childhood vaccination schedule is safety tested individually. No testing is done, however, on the schedule as a whole to see if it is safe to administer multiple vaccinations at the same well baby visit. The CDC asserts that “COVID-19 vaccines have undergone—and will continue to undergo—the most intensive safety monitoring in U.S. history.” But there has been no research—none—on whether giving babies, toddlers, and small children a series of COVID-19 vaccines in addition to the other vaccines already on the schedule is safe. At the same time, however, there is a growing body of scientific evidence that shows that over-vaccinated children suffer from poor health outcomes. For example, the more highly vaccinated the country, the higher rates of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, according to a peer-reviewed study published in 2011 in the journal Human & Experimental Toxicology.
Taft: Feds Who Enforce COVID Shot Mandates Exempt Themselves From COVID Shot Mandates
The Biden Administration’s COVID-19 shot mandates pushed out elite U.S. Navy SEALs, airline pilots, National Guard soldiers, Air Force pilots, cops, doctors, nurses, firefighters, and a host of other top-tier frontline professionals during the pandemic. After they destroyed the careers of thousands of these professionals, the mandates were confirmed to have been a fraudulent ruse. “It turns out if you don’t want to have to take a vaccine, just get a job enforcing the vaccine mandate,” says former Trump Administration chief of staff for the Department of Health and Human Services, Texas state representative Brian Harrison. Harrison says the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, charged with enforcing tyrannical shot and testing mandates, have exempted their own employees. You read that right. Harrison acquired a memo that reads in part, “CMS is rescinding and hereby removing the January 25, 2022 Memo regarding Vaccination Expectation for Surveyors Performing Oversight (QSO-22-10 ALL) from HHS’s guidance repository.” […] “This shows that the Biden administration is truly authoritarian and these mandates never had anything to do with public health in the first place, but sadly and tragically, they had much more to do with giving the federal government more control over our lives. These mandates must end.”
Housman: Publix Won’t Distribute COVID-19 Vaccines For Kids Under Five
Grocery store chain Publix said it won’t be distributing COVID-19 vaccines for kids under five years old in any of its pharmacies. The company, one of the biggest grocers in America, won’t be explaining its decision at this time, spokesperson Hannah Herring said Tuesday, according to the Tampa Bay Times. The decision puts the company in opposition to some key competitors, like Walmart, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which recommends the shot for kids under five years old. Publix is based in Florida, and that’s where the vast majority of its stores are. Florida is reportedly the only state in America that isn’t ordering the COVID-19 vaccine for kids under five. […] In addition to Florida, Publix has locations in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia.

U.S. SUPREME COURT
Berrien: Power To The People: SCOTUS Likely To Hear Case Barring Democrat Judges From Overturning GOP Legislators
The Supreme Court may very well take up a case that would prevent Democrat judges from invalidating Republican state legislators who dominate state houses from redrawing congressional districts. It takes four justices of the Supreme Court to agree for a case to be heard by the entire Court; Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh have said they are willing to hear the case. “Activist judges and allied plaintiffs have proved time and time again that they believe state courts have the ultimate say over congressional maps, no matter what the U.S. Constitution says,” North Carolina Senate leader Phil Berger (R) asserted. The case at issue involves an appeal filed by North Carolina Republicans after a state court ruled that the congressional district boundaries drawn by the General Assembly had violated state constitution provisions. The idea of restricting judges from blocking their states’ legislatures has drawn the interest of four of the SCOTUS justices.
Taer: How The Supreme Court Turned Half Of Oklahoma Into A Lawless Land
A 2020 Supreme Court decision to turn over nearly half of Oklahoma to Native American tribes has effectively turned the eastern portion of the state into a lawless zone. The McGirt v. Oklahoma decision has meant that “nothing” would be done in less serious cases, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Oklahoma field office Edward Gray previously said, according to The Wall Street Journal. But the high court could hand back some jurisdiction to the state in a case known as Oklahoma v. Castro-Huerta, which deals with the question of whether the state should have the power to pursue crimes perpetrated by non-Native Americans against Native Americans on reservation land. Until there is a decision in that case, many of the crimes will go unpunished because the federal government agencies investigating and prosecuting what the state can’t are overwhelmed by the caseload.

Johnson: REDISTRIBUTION, ILLEGAL ALIEN EDITION
The Biden administration has worked a new twist in the Democrats’ mania for redistribution. However, this scheme is to be conducted in private. Attention is not to be paid. It is a big secret. The New York Post’s Miranda Devine has been on the case for a while. In her New York Post column today she adds a dose of media criticism. A subhead in the column aptly describes the media as “Joe’s propaganda arm.” Her column is “The mainstream media’s lies on secret migrant flights.” On the subject of redistribution, Devine has retweeted Luke Rosiak’s mapping of the secret flights (below). Busek: Biden’s New ‘Parent Engagement Council’ Is Pure Political Theater
Last week, in an incredibly delayed response to parents’ outrage over the state of public schooling, the Department of Education announced the creation of the National Parents and Families Engagement Council. The stated purpose of this new body, which will be made up of representatives from a number of leftist organizations, is “to ensure parents can ‘constructively participate in their children’s education’ and to facilitate ‘strong and effective relationships’ between schools and families.” Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona described the council’s goals in glowing terms: Parents are a child’s first teachers, and there’s no one better equipped to work with schools and educators to identify what students need to recover… The National Parents and Families Engagement Council will serve as an important link between families, caregivers, education advocates and their school communities. Like most Democratic proposals, such a council is brilliant only on paper. Given the Biden administration’s long-standing alliance with the educational establishment, parents should not be deceived into thinking that this move represents a substantial change of heart.

Biden Taps Native American Chief To Serve As Next Treasurer Of The United States
President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that he would appoint Marilynn Malerba, chief of the Mohegan Tribe, as the next treasurer of the United States. Malerba will serve alongside Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen as she oversees the U.S. Mint, Fort Knox, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. She will also advise Yellen on “community development and public engagement” and lead the newly created Office of Tribal and Native Affairs. […] Malerba, who is carrying out a lifetime appointment as chief of the Mohegan Tribe in Southeastern Connecticut, worked as a registered nurse before her current role as a member of the Treasury Tribal Advisory Committee, according to the White House. She advises Yellen on the taxation of Native Americans. […] “Chief Malerba’s appointment as Treasurer of the United States will also mean that for the first time in U.S. history, a Tribal leader and Native woman’s signature will soon be seen on the nation’s currency,” according to a Treasury Department statement.
VDH: Why the Left Will Cut Biden Loose
Republican pundits and conservative activists are debating whether they can win in 2024 with the successful Trump agenda, but without the controversial Donald Trump as their nominee. The Democrats have a similar, but far more serious dilemma with Joe Biden as the Democratic Party’s nominee in 2024.
Unlike the Trump Administration’s successful four years, Biden’s tenure has been an utter disaster. There are no policy offsets to the personal liabilities and unpopularity of Biden himself. Biden’s liabilities transcend his physical infirmities, his advanced age, and his seeming geometric rather than arithmetic rate of mental decline. Biden, moreover, proves daily that he is not a nice guy. His excesses, past and present, are precisely those the Left considers mortal sins.

Chasmar: EPA spends millions from Biden’s COVID bill on climate change programs, EV Rideshares, ‘pruning workshops’
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) spent $4.3 million in funds from President Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package on environmental justice and climate change programs promoting activities like tree planting, “pruning workshops,” and achieving “greater acceptance of trees” in cities.
Last April, the EPA announced it was awarding $200,000 each to dozens of projects “focusing on COVID-19 impacts, as well as climate and disaster resiliency” in “underserved communities” through its Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving (EJCPS) Cooperative Agreement Program. The program awarded a total of 34 organizations using $4.3 million in funds from Biden’s American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, as well as $2.5 million from the EPA’s annual appropriation for environmental justice.

I’m just in the way.” To his critics it was just another wild and crazy, over-the-top, fearmongering, divisive, irresponsible—need I go on?—tweet. But Trump was only reiterating what Hillary Clinton had already told the nation during her 2016 presidential campaign, when she said that Donald Trump and his “basket of deplorables” were a threat to American democracy. Joe Biden’s inaugural address fanned the flame of hatred ignited by Clinton, targeting half of the country as the “enemy” by declaring that the “rise of political extremism, white supremacy, domestic terrorism” was a looming threat the country “must confront” and “defeat.” Over the course of the ensuing months, shackling those who had “stormed the Capitol” and committed an “insurrection,” became indistinguishable from condemning those who were “committing murder” by questioning governmental COVID policies such as lockdowns, masking, and the mandated injection of millions with an experimental mRNA gene therapy concocted by greedy and corrupt drug companies. […] Biden has yet to apologize for what he said, and he never will. By this point, the deplorables had been so demonized that they deserved death—and it was just too bad it hadn’t happened. Articles such as this one in Wired, pushed the narrative by comparing the people they describe as white nationalists to “pathogens spread from host to host.” Here are some highlights: . . . […] What’s next? Just as Trump warned, it’s us.

Disney’s next animated feature film, “Strange World,” will include the first openly gay teen romance in a children’s movie from the entertainment company. Production Designer for Animation Matthieu Saghezchi tweeted about catching a glimpse of the new film, which was shown recently at the Annecy 2022 International Film Festival in southeast France. It appears to be proof that Walt Disney Animation Studio is planning to once again insert LGBTQ content in its products.

Lee: GOP senator considering blocking school meal funding deal over transgender policy fight
After the $3 billion deal to extend the pandemic-era program was unveiled Tuesday, Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) said in an interview he is “contemplating” objecting to the measure because of new guidance from the Agriculture Department banning LGBTQ discrimination in any program that receives federal nutrition money, which includes most school lunch programs. Marshall was among a handful of Senate Republicans who sent a letter to the Government Accountability Office last week objecting to the USDA nutrition guidance, which has also prompted a backlash from conservative media and key national Republicans. Likely 2024 presidential contender and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis argued the Biden administration was “trying to deny school lunch programs for states that don’t do transgender ideology in the schools.” […] The top Republican shepherding the school meals funding, Sen. John Boozman of Arkansas, said he hadn’t talked with any Republican who was committed to objecting to the measure, but said he would look into Marshall’s concerns. Asked if he was angling for something from the administration in return for allowing the measure to pass, Marshall replied: “No. I don’t have any deal cooking.”
GOOGLE VALUES
Greenfield: The Google Cult’s Sex Abuse and Mandatory Abortions
When Texas intervened to protect vulnerable children against transgender child mutilation, Google was one of the companies to sign a letter warning that preventing child abuse was “against the values of our companies.” A recent lawsuit provides a small insight into just what the Big Tech giant’s “values” might be. Recently a former Google employer filed a lawsuit accusing the company of discrimination. “I was fired from my team there in February of 2021 because I raised alarm about a cult within Google, a group called the Fellowship of Friends. The group is well-documented: There are allegations of child abuse, human trafficking, forced abortions, and rape within the group,” Kevin Lloyd, a former video producer, blogged. […] Like so many California establishment figures, from Nancy Pelosi to Governor Newsom, the Fellowship of Friends has its own winery. But it also has a deeply troubling history that includes allegations of sex trafficking and forced abortions. From Jim Jones to Scientology, cults have been a cultural feature of leftist life in California.
THE CORRUPT & DANGEROUS DEMOCRAT PARTY’S MEDIA INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX
Harsanyi: Once-Great Sports Illustrated Is Now Just Another Bullhorn For Attacks On The First Amendment
Sports Illustrated, a once-respected magazine, pushes banal, predictable, anti-religious propaganda. […] I’ve largely ignored the magazine for the past decade or so, not for any philosophical reasons or any animosity, but with all the choices it simply fell off my radar. But after running across an astoundingly nonsensical piece headlined “When Faith and Football Teamed Up Against American Democracy,” I’m glad I did. Ostensibly, the feature is about Kennedy v. Bremerton School District, a SCOTUS case regarding a school district punishing a football coach named Joseph Kennedy for a 30-second silent prayer on the 50-yard line after every game. The piece’s subhead describes the case as so: . . .[…] Now, it’s unimaginable that a major publication would allow a reporter to throw around phrases like “voting integrity, religious freedom, and protecting the life of the unborn”—without quotation marks intimating that the ideas aren’t real—and that’s probably always been the case. Though the piece brings up Roe three times, no one explains how a court (concerned solely with the constitutionality of laws) is undermining democratic institutions by giving abortion “rights,” unmentioned in the Constitution, back to voters. Washington State, home of Bremerton High School, sadly, will not be restricting abortion any time soon.

Algar: CDC warns of ‘historic’ meningococcal outbreak among gay men in Florida
The agency characterized the ongoing transmissions “as one of the worst outbreaks of meningococcal disease among gay and bisexual men in US history.” The bacteria can spread through saliva and transmission requires close contact, health officials said. Kissing or being near an infected party that coughs can cause an infection. “Meningococcal disease can affect anyone and can be deadly and includes infections of the lining of the brain and spinal cord (meningitis) and bloodstream,” the CDC said in a statement.

Chen: U.S. expands monkeypox testing in bid to better track scope of outbreak
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced Wednesday that it has begun shipping monkeypox tests to five commercial laboratory companies in a bid to boost access to testing for the disease. Why it matters: A lack of testing has kept public health officials in the dark about the scope of the outbreak in the U.S. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported 156 confirmed cases as of Wednesday.

Anderson: Trust ‘linked to Bill Gates’ is asked by North Dakota AG to explain how it got 2,000 acres of land worth $13.5M near Canadian border when state law puts limits on who can own ranches
A trust allegedly tied to Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates has been asked to justify a recent purchase of farmland in North Dakota that has made residents ‘livid.’ Red River Trust reportedly acquired six parcels of land near the borders of Minnesota and Canada in November that officials say may violate state corporate farming laws. North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley issued a letter to the trust Tuesday asking officials to confirm plans for use of the land and whether the company meets any of the exceptions to the state’s laws. If Red River Trust did violate state laws, the company will be forced to divest itself from the land and could be fined up to $100,000. Gates is considered the largest private owner of farmland in America after having quietly amassed approximately 270,000 acres of land across dozens of states, The Associated Press reported last year. […] Corporations and limited liability companies are prohibited from owning or leasing farm or ranchland in North Dakota, Wrigley said, citing state code.

“The Indictment alleges that between 2016 and 2019, defendants Gillum and Lettman-Hicks conspired to commit wire fraud, by unlawfully soliciting and obtaining funds from various entities and individuals through false and fraudulent promises and representations that the funds would be used for a legitimate purpose,” the statement says. “The Indictment further alleges the defendants used third parties to divert a portion of those funds to a company owned by Lettman-Hicks, who then fraudulently provided the funds, disguised as payroll payments, to Gillum for his personal use.” […] In 2020, as the coronavirus pandemic threw the U.S. into chaos, Gillum, who has children and was married, was found in a hotel room with a male escort and suspected baggies of crystal meth.
Anderson: Florida Dem Promotes ‘Children’s Game With a Sex Problem’ To Court Voters
Demings in March used Chinese app TikTok to share the first installment of her “Gamers for Demings” series, which used the children’s game Roblox to depict a virtual version of the Democrat running through Florida. The post came just weeks after the BBC highlighted the game’s “sex problem.” Roblox—which two-thirds of U.S. children between the ages of 9 and 12 reportedly have played as of 2020—came under fire for hosting user-generated sex games known as “condos,” where gamers’ avatars can have virtual sex. In one instance, the BBC reported, a “naked man, wearing just a dog collar” and a leash, was “led across the floor by a woman in a bondage outfit” as a man “wearing a Nazi uniform” looked on. Demings’s decision to use Roblox and TikTok to promote her campaign shows how Democrats are widening their political strategy to use unorthodox means of communication

The U.S. Bureau of Prisons has fast-tracked ‘gender confirmation surgeries’ for a transgeder ex-neo-Nazi serving life in prison for two violent robberies after she filed a lawsuit against them for delaying her request. Donna Langan, born Peter, 63, was part of the Aryan Republican Army (ARA), a neo-Nazi group, and was convicted in 1997 to life in prison with an additional 35 years for two bank robberies where she used firearms and explosives, Fox News reported. Langan, who identifies as female, spent two decades in a male prison before being transferred to the Carswell Federal Medical Center women’s prison, in Fort Worth, Texas. In September 2021, Langan filed a complaint against the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), claiming she ‘experiences debilitating anguish as a result of severe and inadequately treated gender dysphoria.’

Doucleff: Polio found in U.K. for the first time in nearly 40 years. Here’s what it means
So far, there have been no cases of polio detected directly in the U.K. But instead, scientists have discovered the outbreak through an indirect route. They’ve found multiple versions of the virus in sewage water, the U.K. Health Security Agency said Wednesday in a press release. The risk to the general public is extremely low, the agency said, because the vast majority of people in Britain are vaccinated against polio during childhood – and therefore protected against infection. But the agency encourages anyone not fully immunized to schedule an appointment right away. Between February and May, U.K. scientists found several samples containing closely related versions of the virus in wastewater at the London Beckton Sewage Treatment Works – the largest water treatment plant in the U.K. […] People infected with polio, or who have been vaccinated with a live version of the virus, shed traces of the virus in their stool – which eventually end up in sewage wastewater. So the current hypothesis is that an infected person brought the virus into London and then spread it to others who weren’t immunized.

AMERICA ON ITS KNEES: The Cost of Replacing Trump with Biden by Ed Brodow
Pardoe: Biden Has America on its Knees
So what makes Ed Brodow’s, America on its Knees, stand out? First off is his crisp and often biting writing style. Brodow’s text is not just well organized, it is cynical in all the right places, sardonic when it is right, snarky when you need it to be, and even sarcastically funny at times. All too often authors of nonfiction books are blunt to the point where the reader feels pummeled with their words. Ed Brodow weaves a story of what America lost with the election of Joe Biden and does so in a very easy-to-read form. When I get a 200+ page non-fiction book, I anticipate three-to-four days of reading to get into it. I was so engaged with his style, I finished this in 48 hours. Secondly, this is not a book of singular personal opinions. America on its Knees is well researched, with dozens of quotes from reliable sources to back up the author’s insights and views. This elevates it from the ‘professional ranter’ author class to a professionally written tome of America’s current desperate plight. America on its Knees highlights the dangers and threats that our nation faces.

The War on the West by Douglas Murray
Weiseman: The West Gets a Wake Up Call
In his previous works, Murray, a British author now based in America, has tackled questions of cultural and identity politics on both sides of the Atlantic as well as immigration and radical Islam in Europe. The War on the West is designed for readers who, though they may see a great deal of folly in the woke reckoning that has become increasingly hard to ignore in recent years, might see it as an unserious sideshow. Murray urges readers to avoid the temptation to dismiss debates about race, history, and identity as “fringe” or trivial “culture wars.” To do so, he argues, is to “misinterpret the aims of the participants or downplay the role it will have in the lives of future generations.” At stake, he argues, is whether the West will be crippled by self-hatred and kill the goose that lays the golden egg, or whether we appreciate the West’s intellectual and cultural inheritance and use its strengths to our advantage. The aggressors in Murray’s war come from within, and the battleground is all around us: everywhere from the pre-school classroom to the art gallery. Murray details the woke assault on a series of overlapping fronts—race, religion, history, and culture—and is at his best when picking apart the inconsistencies, fallacies, and hypocrisies in the assailants’ arguments.
