Christina Grattan contributor to The American Mind: Anyone against socialism and the triumph of woke ideology must defend the nuclear family structure, as neither can exist without the negation of the family. Friedrich Engels wrote that socialism would do away with the family, its reliance on private property, and the children’s dependence on the parents. The little platoon of the family must stand and fight for the truth amid the onslaught of propaganda from those who want to dismantle capitalism, objective truth, and western civilization.
Steve Rossiter contributor to Canada Free Press: How is it that the Boss Biden family criminal enterprise can steal taxpayer owned oil from the United States Strategic Oil Reserves and sell it to a Chinese company connected to his son? How does this action not negatively impact national security and national defense? Is there nobody in the United States government willing to put the safety of the nation above the profits of the Biden crime family? Is the corruption of the United States Government so deeply imbedded in every law enforcement agent and in the military officer ranks that no whistleblower will call BS on these illegal activities?
Michael Phillips, Ph.D. contributor to Brownstone Institute warns of the cost of Biden’s short-sighted policies and purging of the U.S. Military: . . . one indication suggests the Biden administration knows it’s dancing on the razor’s edge. Reportedly, the president intends to harden Washington, DC, with a ring of air defense missiles. If true, it would be the first time since the 1970s that fixed missile batteries protected the nation’s capital – surely a comfort to the millions of ordinary Americans living beyond the Beltway.
Leo Hohmann: Before you can “build back better,” according to the slogan of the World Economic Forum, you must burn everything down. And that’s where we’re at right now.
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA): “In Massachusetts right now, those crisis pregnancy centers that are there to fool people who are looking for pregnancy termination help outnumber true abortion clinics by 3 to 1. We need to shut them down here in Massachusetts and we need to shut them down all around the country. You should not be able to torture a pregnant person like that.”
Technology News & Trends: It is inconceivable on any level that thorough testing would not be required for life-altering drugs such as experimental mRNA injections, but Big Pharma’s influence over the FDA has accomplished just that, giving eugenicists full and autonomous control over human health and genome. Thus, humans are the last frontier to be conquered in the quest for total resource management, aka Technocracy.
Rc22500 tweeted on 7/1/22: It seems clear that the jab is given for a reason other than Covid. This would have been pulled long ago, in past immunizations. The persistent push and forced jab is unlike any before. The refusal to acknowledge the problems are a loud and clear warning of evil intent.
Emerald Robinson investigative journalist for Lindell TV : The perfectly healthy are getting bad cancers much too frequently now. The perfectly healthy are dying suddenly. What all of them shared was being vaccinated.
Molly Kingsley& Liz Cole contributors to Brownstone Institute: Taught that they were responsible for endangering the lives of their elders, many youngsters now have serious mental health problems: post-pandemic waiting lists in the UK for children with eating disorders have more than doubled and there are an astonishing one million children waiting for mental health support. Globally lockdown was associated with an explosion of children acquiring tics and nervous disorders, especially girls. More than half of young people say they’ve ‘lost confidence’ in themselves.
Jeffrey H. Anderson contributor to City Journal: As most Americans intuitively glean, strange things are afoot when it comes to immigration. Its sheer quantity, its frequent illegality, and the de-emphasis of assimilation are all profound departures from our country’s traditional norms. As with other issues, it is not everyday Americans but elites who are denying reality.
Tracy Lee Simmons contributor to The Federalist: I myself was once a skeptic, if not a vocal one, of homeschooling. The whole effort seemed to me too long a row to hoe for ordinary, and ordinarily equipped, people. But I have since changed my mind. Now I believe that upon homeschooling might well depend the very survival of our country and—yes—of our civilization too. Upon it the survival of our children almost certainly depends. When once I would have looked out upon a crowd of homeschoolers and seen loving, intelligent parents just doing their best for their children, now I see warriors holding the line amid the noise and smoke sent up by a besieged culture.
Ellie Fromm, a homeschooled high school senior, is currently serving at The Prickly Pear as a Journalism Intern: Yes, guns can injure and kill, but most importantly, guns protect. The gun doesn’t pull the trigger, a human does. The gun does not choose whom to kill, a human does. The naïve believe that denying law abiding citizens their constitutional right to own and possess firearms will somehow eliminate the criminal behavior and violence seen every day in our most highly gun-regulated cities and this will somehow magically fix these tragic and recurring problems. We should rather teach citizens from an early age why the Second Amendment is a fundamental right along with knowledge of gun safety and responsibility.
Judie Brown contributor to CNS News: . . .the shallowness of Pelosi’s convictions is only overshadowed by her ability to deceive the listener, the reporter, and/or the Vatican. We know what she believes, as it is apparent from her actions. Pelosi believes in abortion, and she does not believe in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. After all, even the Speaker of the House can’t have it both ways.
Patricia McCarthy contributor to American Thinker questions the Democrat party’s fixation with promoting transgenerism: Why are such kids automatically shoved into a hormonal nightmare that will change everything about their young bodies forever? And again, why is the American left so determined to make trangenderism the most pressing issue of our time? One thing we should all know by now is that the left despises children. Despite Nancy Pelosi’s oft-repeated mantra for everything – “It’s for the children” – the left has long made clear their antipathy for children.
THE GREAT GLOBAL RESET
Sundance: Tucker Carlson Outlines How Joe Biden is Implementing the Green New Deal Energy Program and Killing the U.S. Economy, and Standard of Living, in The Process
The Green New Deal is domestically to the U.S. as the Build Back Better agenda is to the rest of the western nations who follow the instructions from the World Economic Forum. Collectively the economies of western government are starting to collapse as the underlying energy policies (climate change) are being implemented. Carlson walks through several examples of countries who have tried and failed to switch from oil, gas and coal to the “green renewable” energy programs. Everything from farming to home heating is now under attack by the governmental energy policies of western nations.

U.S. SUPREME COURT
Devine: Majority of Democrats, young people want to abolish Supreme Court: poll
A majority of Democratic voters believe the Supreme Court is a racist, sexist institution that ought to be abolished, according to a new poll commissioned by the Heartland Institute. And in a clear threat to the court’s future, almost as many people ages 19 to 39 feel the same way. The national survey of 1,025 US voters split strongly down party lines, with 53% of Democrats in favor of abolishing the current Supreme Court and replacing it with a “new, democratically elected … court with justices chosen by the American people directly,” and 33% “strongly” in favor. Just 21% of Republicans and 38% of independents favored the proposition. A majority (54%) of people ages 19 to 39 wanted the court abolished. Overall, just 37% of total voters agreed, according to the Rasmussen poll conducted on July 6 and 7, almost two weeks after the Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade decision on abortion. […] “What this poll shows is that a majority of Democratic voters are utterly delusional about public policy and completely out of step with the vision most Americans have of their country,” said Justin Haskins, the Heartland Institute’s editorial director.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
Rabinowitz & Mizelle: Justice Department announces Reproductive Rights Task Force
The Justice Department on Tuesday announced a task force aimed at identifying ways to protect reproductive rights in the wake of the Supreme Court decision that struck down the federal right to abortion. Called the Reproductive Rights Task Force and chaired by Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta, the group will “monitor and evaluate” state and local legislation and enforcement that might infringe on a person’s ability to seek reproductive care, ban abortion-inducing drugs or impose criminal or civil consequences on federal employees who provide reproductive health services that are legal under federal law.
[…] The announcement comes after Biden signed an executive order Friday aimed at protecting abortion rights and called on the the Justice Department, “much like they did in the civil rights era, to do something, to do everything in their power to protect these women seeking to invoke their rights.” The DOJ announcement formalizes existing efforts by the department to support access to reproductive health care.
(Update) Revolver.news: DEVELOPING: What you need to know about the FBI Jan 6 Proud Boys informant leak…
This is a developing story and Revolver will do an extensive follow-up in the coming weeks. For now, here are a couple things to note: While Revolver has not been able to verify the Gateway Pundit report in its entirety, we have been able to confirm the authenticity of the government documents. Furthermore, we can add the following scoop: The Proud Boys Confidential Human Source (informant) referred to in the government documents leaked on Gateway Pundit is the very same Proud Boys informant referred to in a New York Times piece published September of last year. The leaked documents corroborate the New York Times’ coverage that the informant “maintained the group did not plan in advance to enter the Capitol and disrupt the election.”
Schwartz: Jan. 6 committee notifies DOJ that Trump tried tampering with one of its witnesses, Cheney says
The House select committee investigating the attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6 revealed that it told the Department of Justice that former President Donald Trump contacted one of its witnesses who hasn’t publicly testified yet. “After our last hearing. President Trump tried to call a witness in our investigation. A witness you have not yet seen in these hearings,” Rep. Liz Cheney, the vice chair of the committee, said on Tuesday. “That person declined to answer or respond to President Trump’s call and instead alerted their lawyer to the call. Their lawyer alerted us. And this committee has supplied that information to the Department of Justice,” she added.
Ballasy: J6 panel shuns live testimony from Trump associates, prefers to slice and dice taped depositions
House Democrats’ Jan. 6 committee has been showing video clips at its hearings of previously recorded depositions from associates of former President Donald Trump rather than live public testimony. Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon recently offered to testify in public, according to a letter written to the committee by his attorney Robert Costello. […] “They do not encourage live testimony,” Costello said in a statement. “Bernie Kerik was given a conditional waiver of attorney client privilege by President Trump if Kerik would be allowed to testify publicly. The Select Committee declined. The reason they do this is to make a television moment consistent with their narrative. This is not an investigation, this is propaganda for political theatre.”
FDA OWNED BY BIG PHARMA
Dr. Mercola: Bio-Security State: Big Pharma’s Complete Takeover OF FDA
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has adopted a “Future Framework” scheme that will allow Pfizer and Moderna to reformulate and release updated COVID shots without conducting any additional clinical trials. > This Framework will allow completely untested, reformulated COVID injections to be churned out; the elimination of clinical trial requirements may also, over time, be expanded to other vaccines and drugs > The “Future Framework” will almost certainly guarantee that future COVID shots be less effective and/or more dangerous, because adding more mRNA (to cover more variants) will result in higher adverse event rates, and less mRNA per variant will lower the effectiveness > Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of examples of how vaccine trials are being rigged, and that the “Future Framework” is an extreme expansion and formalization of that rigging […] A decision to release reformulated mRNA shots without additional clinical trials is the worst development yet, by far, and has the power to radically change medical science moving forward. Not only will completely untested COVID injections be churned out, but this “framework” may also, over time, be widened to include other vaccines and drugs that drug makers may want to tinker with. Heck, it could even lower standards for drug trials in general, which historically have required at least 10 years of multi-phase testing.8

(H/T AA) Robinson: The Global Vaccine Nightmare Has Just Begun
I went to the nail salon this week, and there was a young women working there who started weeping inconsolably in a corner. I asked the manager what was wrong. “She just lost her mother” was the reply. She had died in her sleep suddenly though she was perfectly healthy. This last weekend, I had attended the funeral of an old friend. He was perfectly healthy too, and then he got late-stage pancreatic cancer — and he was gone a few months later. That was the exact same story for another friend. He was healthy as a horse, until he wasn’t — because he too had suddenly developed late-stage pancreatic cancer.
Not to mention a young (and very fit) mother I know who just got a check-up, and was told that she too has suddenly developed aggressive cancer in her early 40s. The perfectly healthy are getting bad cancers much too frequently now. The perfectly healthy are dying suddenly. What all of them shared was being vaccinated. Steve Kirsch on Substack has conducted a survey (done by a third party) and the results are so disturbing that nobody in the corporate media will touch it. Ten million Americans have . . […] Healthy people are now dying so frequently and suddenly from heart failure that the totally corrupt corporate media has invented names like Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (“SADS”) to account for these obviously vaccine-related deaths. Suddenly, toddlers are now having seizures after getting vaccinated as well. As for vaccinated women who are pregnant, they are experiencing miscarriages and still births at much higher rates than in the past. [Note: Emerald Robinson is an independent journalist. U.S. SUPREME COURT
Povich: Without Obergefell, Most States Would Have Same-Sex Marriage Bans
The U.S. Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage in 2015, but in most states, laws or constitutional amendments would revive the prohibition if the high court decides, as it did with abortion, that such unions are not a constitutionally protected right. Thirty-five states ban same-sex marriage in their constitutions, state law, or both, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures and Stateline research. All were invalidated in 2015 by the Obergefell v. Hodges ruling. But should the now-more-conservative U.S. Supreme Court overturn the right to same-sex marriages, those state laws and constitutional amendments would kick in. “These constitutional amendments are still on the books and would likely be put in place,” said Jason Pierceson, a political science professor at the University of Illinois, Springfield and author of “Same-Sex Marriage in the United States: The Road to the Supreme Court and Beyond.” “Most of them,” he said, “would arguably be in effect if the court overturns Obergefell.” And it’s likely that the abortion decision opens the door to challenges, Pierceson said.
Crouere: Republicans Must Listen to Voters, Not the Media
As our nation descends into a recession and Americans worry about how to pay their bills and feed their families, leaders in the Republican Party have decided to keep quiet. Their strategy is to let the political party in power, the Democrats, self-destruct. […] Democrats showed no qualms about trying to annihilate President Trump using phony charges. In contrast, Republicans have tangible evidence to present regarding Biden, and, largely, there is silence from GOP officials. Each day, Republicans should be calling for the impeachment of Joe Biden. It will not hurt them at the polls, for there is no affection for Biden among the American people. A new poll shows that his approval rating is only 30%, while an astounding 88% of Americans say the country is on the wrong track. Republicans should also be demanding that the 79-year-old president submit to a mental competency test. […] Instead, many establishment Republicans were quite vocal about their support for the nation’s first significant gun control legislation in decades. […] Many of these same establishment Republicans collaborated with President Biden to pass his pork-laden $1.2-trillion infrastructure bill, which will balloon the deficit while doing little to improve the poor road conditions throughout our nation. The moderate wing of the GOP is very influential in Congress. In fact, if Republicans win control of Congress in the midterm elections this fall, two establishment Republicans will surely fill the leadership positions. In the U.S. Senate, Mitch McConnell is the clear favorite to be elected majority leader. In the House, Kevin McCarthy has the inside tract to be elected speaker. Both GOP leaders are cautious moderates who inspire no confidence from the Make America Great Again (MAGA) base of the party . . . On principal issues, there is a clear disconnect between the grassroots base of the Republican Party and the GOP leadership in Congress. These party leaders want members to be timid and not attract attention with bold positions on controversial topics. At this point, the stakes are too high for reticence.

Malloch: Florida or California?
Which will it be, if the faceoff occurs? The Sunshine State or the Golden State? Let’s do the full comparison as it may foretell a storyline that is rapidly unraveling before our eyes. Just suppose, Biden and Trump are not the candidates in 2024 and the baton gets passed on to the next generation of leaders. That could mean the choice becomes even more vivid and personal, and the country would get to pick its future direction based on the experience lived and the policy records, in these two contrasting states. Already, we see Pelosi’s nephew, Newsom, running ads in Florida against DeSantis’ reelection bid but it portends far more. It may in fact be a precursor of the larger battle to come. Factually, there couldn’t be a bigger difference in the two states, both of which have long coastlines, plenty of sunshine, great beaches and large, diverse populations, with significant Hispanic minorities and dynamic political cultures. California features one-party rule, a far-left bias, and socialism for all. Florida, by contrast, is a vibrant two-party state, tilts rightward, and in recent years has featured all-out entrepreneurial capitalism, small business growth, low taxes, and individual liberty. How do they fare on a host of relevant statistics, if voters were to actually look under the hood and do their homework? Let’s check them out. […] If you were to reproduce these models nationally, Americans would have an easy choice to make. Without even more massive cheating, there is no way Newsom could get . . .
THE DEMOCRAT LED WAR ON CHILDREN
Kingsley & Cole: The Generation of Children Raised by Fear
Fear has defined the last two years. Humans are hardwired to fear infectious diseases, but with such uncharacteristic effectiveness did government turbocharge fear to ensure compliance with restrictions and silence opponents, that the nation turned not only in on itself, but also on its children.
Fuelled by that fear, we locked our young in their rooms for days on end, padlocked their playgrounds and stopped them from seeing their grandparents and friends. We tossed their education to one side, in the process degrading it to an extent which, without drastic remedial action, will not recover. Fuelled by fear, a woman in Texas locked her own child in the boot of her car to escape his infection; a university in Manchester barricaded its students into their halls of residence; and a mayor in New York gagged the city’s toddlers for months. Fuelled by fear we breached our species’ most basic social compact: to protect our young, abandoning at so many touch points our posts as guardians and often even pushing children into harm’s way – mentally and physically – to save ourselves. Worst of all, drunk on our diet of fear, we taught children they were “vectors,” “silent spreaders,” “reservoirs of infection” – posing a danger to the adults around them. “You people are just vectors of disease to me, and I don’t want to be anywhere near you, so keep your **** distance,” yelled one university professor in Michigan in January 2022.
Miller: The Best Mask Study Yet
School masking has undoubtedly been one of the COVID’s most infuriating issues. The case for masking by the general public has quite obviously always been weak, considering there was no pre-pandemic planning that suggested masking would ever be beneficial. But the case to mask children has always been significantly worse. Even Professor Francois Balloux, a self-described COVID “centrist,” who is rarely prone to extreme declarations or hyperbole, admitted recently that the masking of young children is “the most bizarre public health policy ever:” […] There is obviously a tremendous amount of research and data proving that mask mandates are ineffective, especially in schools. Yet the policy continues in many parts of the country. […] But a new study out provides some important new evidence with regards to the efficacy of mask mandates. […] It just didn’t matter. It’s hard to believe that there are people out there who still believe that masks work and mandates should be implemented. It’s even harder still to believe that those people also want to inflict their harmful delusions onto children, who should have been protected by adults. No matter how large the evidence base gets, no matter how much research is conducted, it will never be enough for huge segments of the population. But for those willing to be convinced, for school administrators who aren’t sure how to handle the inevitable fall and winter surge this year, this study provides yet another valuable contribution to the case against mandates.
Widburg: ‘All your child are belong to us’
Vladimir Lenin, who formed the Soviet government in 1917, was quite explicit about the importance of children to the cause. “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” The core of Hitler’s growing cultural takeover during the 1930s was the Hitler Youth organization, which skillfully taught children to ally themselves with the state and against their parents. During the Iran-Iraq war, the mullahs outfitted children with cheap trinkets that they were promised were keys to heaven and then sent them out to do battle against hardened Iraqi troops. As Mussolini said, “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State,” and totalitarians have applied that rule to children too. What does this have to do with children and healthcare? A little explanation may help.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING THE U.S. MILITARY
Phillips, PH.D.: As Military Ranks are Purged, US Is Unprepared for War
The US proxy war with Russia over Ukraine is on the verge of getting costlier, maybe in more ways than one. Since the start of Russia’s invasion this past February, Washington has appropriated tens of billions of dollars to aid Kyiv, mostly for military training, advanced ordnance, and intelligence assets supporting Ukrainian operations. The spigots are far from closing. President Biden has asked Congress for another $800 million, this time for advanced surface-to-air missiles. On top of this, Washington has moved 100,000 troops to defend NATO’s eastern frontier, and Congress wants to send more. […] While the US military is the most splendid killing machine ever devised, twenty years spent fighting wars of revenge against terrorists have not steeled it for the realities of higher-end warfare – that is, wars against states with modern militaries. There’s high turnover in the profession of arms. Veterans bloodied in close-quarters, small-unit combat in Iraq and Afghanistan are getting rarer in the ranks, and those who remain mostly are unpracticed in complex operations above the brigade level. The same can be said of their most senior leaders. The Pentagon may boast of standing up a corps command post in Poland. But no American general in service today has maneuvered a heavy corps in the field, in training or otherwise. […] Shortsighted policies, some recent and some decades in the making, have worsened matters. Even now, before a shot has been fired, the Pentagon is struggling to recruit fresh troops, while at the same time it’s preparing to pitch 60,000 unvaccinated National Guardsmen and Reservists it relies on for routine mission support.

Puder: Mullah Mischief in Latin America
Iran and its primary terror agent, Hezbollah, are a threat not only to the security of Israel and the Arab Gulf states — their tentacles stretch across the globe. In Latin America, Iran is building a strategic response against the United States with a protected base in Venezuela under President Nicolas Maduro. Iran’s build-up of long-range ballistic missiles, and the Russian supply of the lethal S-400 missile system to Iran, pose a serious threat to the security of the United States. These Russian missiles will eventually end up in Venezuela. Russia is poised to retaliate against the U.S. supply of missiles to Ukraine, by arming both Iran and Venezuela with the S-400 missile system. With the Biden administration’s desperate quest for a nuclear deal with Iran, it is crucial now more than ever for Washington to include Iran’s long-range ballistic missile development onto the nuclear talks agenda among other forums. […] It remains to be seen how the Biden administration will respond to Iran’s close military ties with Maduro’s Venezuela. Considering the administration’s weak posture toward Iran in the Vienna nuclear talks, we are unlikely to see tough action against Iran or Venezuela.
Ravid: Biden planning July trip to Saudi Arabia and Israel
President Biden plans to visit Israel and Saudi Arabia in July, the White House confirmed to Axios on Sunday.Details: Three Israeli officials told Axios Biden is expected to visit Israel and the Palestinian Authority on July 14 and 15 before traveling on to Saudi Arabia. The White House has not confirmed those dates, and the Israeli officials all warned that the timing had shifted several times and could change again. Why it matters: Biden promised on the campaign trail to make Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman a “pariah” over the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. But the surge in global oil prices has led him to court the kingdom in hopes it will increase production.
BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING AMERICA
Schweizer: America’s Retreat by 1,000 Small Steps
- Thanks to a Treasury Department “interpretation,” Americans can still own stock in companies that were placed on a blacklist by the Trump administration because of their direct ties to the Chinese military.
- Thanks to the Biden administration, the “China Initiative” at the Department of Justice to crack down on Chinese attempts to acquire or steal American technology has been discontinued.
- Thanks to the Biden administration’s “green energy” enthusiasm, tariffs on solar panels made by Asian countries who are assembling or repackaging solar panels made in China were removed.
- The Biden administration has also signaled its intention to remove or lift other tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on Chinese products. It has also been friendlier toward Chinese companies such as Huawei and ByteDance (owner of TikTok) in recent weeks.
- And all of this has been done with zero concessions from the Chinese government on any of the outstanding diplomatic, military, strategic, health or trade issues that so concern most Americans.
- Because the Biden family has been so deeply involved and so vehemently denied their involvement with Chinese business, the next question is as inescapable as the first: Does the flow of money to the Biden family from China influence the foreign policy of the United States?
Schlichter: Are We Looking At Another Civil War?
Consider the logic of the left and it’s no wonder that many people are considering the unspeakable – whether America will devolve into actual violent conflict. But I dare speak about it at length in my brand-new book We’ll Be Back: The Fall and Rise of America, which confronts this issue of systematic political violence head-on. The most important question related to the long decline of America at the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and terminally foolish ruling caste that controls our major institutions is whether we can pull out of this tailspin without bloodshed. I sure hope so, but the risk is real and we need to confront it. The logic of the left accepts political violence. […] But don’t insult our intelligence by referencing the minor fracas that was J6. If that was an insurrection, you would have seen some armed insurrecting instead of selfie-snapping. If red America wanted to start something, they would have brought along their ARs like progressive James Hodgkinson did. So, while the chance of civil conflict is low, violence is not only possible but it has been used by the left as a means of making political change in America in the past. And the evidence is that the left remains ideologically open to using violence in the future to achieve its goals. But what would a civil conflict look like if, heaven forbid, it ever came to pass again?
Steven Dettelbach confirmed as ATF director
The Senate voted 48-46 on Tuesday to confirm Steven Dettelbach to lead the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. […] The big picture: Dettelbach, a former U.S. attorney from Ohio, garnered extensive experience working with ATF officers during his decades as a career prosecutor, the White House said in a statement in May. The White House added that Dettelbach “understands the vital importance of redoubling ATF’s work to fight gun violence and domestic terrorism.” […] Portman and Collins voted for Dettelbach’s final confirmation.
Ferrechio & Picket: Schiff seeks rule that would block oversight of some military operations
Rep. Adam B. Schiff, chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, wants a defense policy bill to include language blocking Congress from oversight of the military and National Guard in some cases of domestic deployment. The amendment is poised to be added to the National Defense Authorization Act, which the House plans to take up this week, and it has drawn criticism from Republicans who fear Mr. Schiff is trying to preemptively block them from oversight if their party wins the House majority in November elections. “This un-American amendment will fundamentally and irreparably
erode Congress’ constitutional oversight responsibility,” . . .
Binder: Biden Brags About Importing ‘Record’ Foreign Workers to Compete Against Americans for Jobs
During a press conference with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), Biden bragged that his Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has created a steady flow to the U.S. of foreign workers on agricultural H-2A and nonagricultural H-2B visas. “Last year, my administration set a record — we issued more than 300,000 H-2 visas for Mexican workers,” Biden said. “We also reached a five-year high in the visas we issued to Central Americans, and we’re on pace to double this in … this fiscal year for Central America.” Biden’s inflating the U.S. labor market with millions of foreign workers comes as millions of working-age Americans remain on the labor market sidelines.
Anderson: Denying Reality on Immigration
Immigration has long been integral to America’s national identity, but our citizenry has also historically been united by what Abraham Lincoln called “the political religion of the nation”—a shared reverence for our Constitution and laws. Indeed, while Americans tend to support immigration as an ideal, many intuitively sense that something has gone badly awry with an immigration system overrun with illegality. And the facts support that intuition. According to Census Bureau statistics, immigrants’ share of the U.S. population rose more from 1990 to 2010 than during any other 20-year period since these figures were first recorded in 1850—from 7.9 percent to 12.9 percent (up 5 percentage points). This broke the previous record set from 1850 to 1870, when it rose from 9.7 percent to 14.4 percent (up 4.7 percentage points). In other words, immigration reshaped the composition of the population more significantly from 1990 to 2010 than over any prior 20-year period since at least 1850, including during the great waves of immigration of the late nineteenth century. While the Census Bureau couldn’t collect reliable statistics on immigrants’ share of the U.S. population during the most recent decennial census—largely because it adopted Covid policies that kept it from going door-to-door during much of 2020—its (generally less reliable) annual surveys indicate that immigrants’ share of the U.S. population continued to rise from 2010 to 2020, though not by as much as over the previous few decades. Under President Biden, border crossings have accelerated at an extraordinary clip. […] It’s hard to get informative statistics out of the Department of Homeland Security, but legal challenges to Biden’s lax enforcement of federal immigration laws have yielded some fruits in this regard.

Smythe: ‘Pedo Pete’: Massive 4Chan Hack Of Hunter Biden’s Explicit Texts, Images, Videos Rocks The Internet
Footage and screenshots started circulating online Saturday night that are reportedly from Hunter Biden’s iCloud account. […] In another, Biden appears to slide naked into a pool and swim up to a woman filming him. Hunter’s father, President Joe Biden, also reportedly loves to skinny dip, author Ronald Kessler wrote in 2014, according to the Daily News. “Being assigned to [Joe Biden’s] detail is considered the second worst assignment to the Secret Service,” Kessler wrote at the time. The leak also included a series of text messages allegedly from Biden, which suggest that he and his father own a number of guns, and that he stole upwards of $100,000 from his ex-wife. Breitbart News reporter Wendell Husebo shared a screenshot of what he claimed was a contact in Hunter Biden’s phone, listed as “Pedo Peter.” Another user alleged that the contact card belonged to President Joe Biden due to his previous use of the pseudonym “Peter Henderson.”

Shideler: The ‘Chekhov’s Gun’ of Political Intimidation
Having brought onto stage the weapon of political intimidation, the Left intends to use it at every turn. Groups like Shutdown D.C. and Ruth Sent Us are just the latest examples. […] For its part, the Biden Administration has all but openly endorsed the tactics of personally targeting opponents, hiding behind claims that actions by groups like Shutdown D.C. represent genuine “democracy” in action, rather than intimidation by a tiny subset of professional activists. Originally created out of a coalition of environmentalist groups in preparation for a planned “Climate Shutdown” on September 20, 2019, Shutdown D.C. became one of the leading elements of a planned “uprising” (their words) in the event of a Trump election victory in 2020. The plan included occupying federal buildings and targeting key House and Senate members. They even discussed sabotaging communications equipment in a training call with infamous anarchist organizer Lisa Fithian, who noted, “In a situation of a coup or an insurrection or an uprising, whoever’s got the guns, often can win. We should be clear. Trump’s gotta go.”
Colton: Ohio Right to Life says offices targeted twice by pro-abortion vandals with rocks, spray paint
Dozens of pro-life centers have been targeted across the country since a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion signaled Roe V. Wade would be overturned in May, followed by the nation’s highest court ultimately ruling as such in June. For one pro-life organization in Ohio, it has been targeted twice since last month. “As pro-lifers, we know that our work might cost us something and that very well could be our physical safety,” the executive director of the Right to Life of Northeast Ohio Allie Frazier told Fox News Digital. “I think that it’s important in moments like this for the pro-life movement to be really clear that we’re not going to be intimidated. We will save babies. We will protect women. And we’re not going to let threats of violence stop us from doing that.”

CLIMATE EMERGENCY: IT’S POLITICAL
Raleigh: Studies Show The Electric Vehicles Democrats Insist You Buy Are Worse For The Environment And Lower Quality
Many people believe electric vehicles are higher quality than gas-powered vehicles and are emissions-free, which makes them much better for the environment. But two recent studies have shown that electric cars have more quality issues than gas-powered ones and are not better for the environment. J.D. Power has produced the annual U.S. Initial Quality Study for 36 years, which measures the quality of new vehicles based on feedback from owners. The most recent study, which included Tesla in its industry calculation for the first time, found that battery-electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles have more quality issues than gas-powered ones. According to J.D. Power, owners of electric or hybrid vehicles cite more problems than do owners of gas-powered vehicles. The latter vehicles . . .[…] Besides quality issues, a new study published by the National Bureau of Economic Research found that electric vehicles are worse for the environment than gas-powered ones. By quantifying the externalities (both greenhouse gases and local air pollution) generated by driving these vehicles, the government subsidies on the purchase of EVs, and taxes on electric and/or gasoline miles, researchers found that “electric vehicles generate a negative environmental benefit of about -0.5 cents per mile relative to comparable gasoline vehicles (-1.5 cents per mile for vehicles driven outside metropolitan areas).” […] Batteries Create Pollution […] . . . Pollution can come “from graphite dust in the air, which is damaging whether inhaled or brought down to the earth in the rain,” . . .
(From 2/6/21) Gottesfeld: ‘Environmental disaster’: Electric cars have a dirty little recycling problem — batteries
The switch to electric vehicles has been promoted as a major, necessary step to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to stave off the worst effects of a changing climate. The switch would also significantly reduce health risks associated with vehicle emissions. Every major auto manufacturer now has at least one electric vehicle in production, and some — including Daimler, Volkswagen, and General Motors — have pledged to phase out the production of gas and diesel engines entirely. More than a dozen countries, including many in Europe, have said they plan to ban sales of gasoline and diesel cars by 2040 or sooner. California also just announced a plan to phase out gas and diesel cars by 2035. But electric cars have their own dirty little secret: Every electric vehicle, and most hybrid vehicles, rely on large lithium-ion batteries weighing hundreds of pounds. One of the largest, the battery for the Mercedes-Benz EQC, comes in at 1,400 pounds. Typically made with cobalt, nickel, and manganese, among other components, these batteries cost thousands of dollars and come with an environmental burden: They require ingredients sourced from polluting mines and smelters around the world, and they can ultimately contaminate soil and water supplies if improperly disposed. In the rush to embrace this technology, auto companies are adopting the same pretence that has been embraced by the plastics industry: They are claiming that used batteries will be recycled. However, the truth is being swept under the rug. None of the lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles are recyclable in the same sense that paper, glass, and lead car batteries are. Although efforts to improve recycling methods are underway, generally only around half the materials in these batteries is currently extracted and repurposed. And without the most valuable ingredients, there will be little economic incentive to invest in recycling technologies. The result, if nothing is done to tip the scales, could be a massive health and environmental crisis.
UL Research Institute: Environmental Impacts of Lithium-ion Batteries
What are the environmental drawbacks? Intensive extraction: Two types of mining commonly required to extract minerals for batteries are open-pit mining and brine extraction. These extraction processes can cause erosion and pollution. Open-pit mining: In order to make way for an open pit, vegetation must be cleared away. Then, a deep pit is dug. Together, these factors create conditions for erosion. Mining can create toxic soils and dust with high concentrations of heavy metals. These dusts become contaminants that put people and animals at a higher risk of illness. Brine extraction: Brine extraction drains water from natural underground reserves of drinking water. This water is depleted from the ecosystem more quickly than it can be replaced through the water cycle. Brine extraction also requires toxic chemicals to process lithium. The release of these chemicals harms air, soil, and water quality. Electronic waste: When lithium-ion batteries are disposed of, they become electronic waste, also known as e-waste. E-waste has been declared one of our world’s most pressing issues for environmental and human health by the United Nations. Much electronic waste is not disposed of properly; rather than being dismantled professionally, devices wind up in commercial waste or landfills, or unsafely deconstructed or burned to harvest small valuable components. The batteries disposed of in commercial waste and landfills can be inadvertently shorted and cause a large fire in those areas which are extremely difficult to control due to the large amount of combustible waste that they are mixed with.
Mooney: White House ‘Disinformation’ Campaign Against Climate Policy Critics Sparks Litigation
Climate activists are working in coordination with the Biden White House and Democrat-dominated congressional committees to silence political opponents under the guise of “disinformation,” legal and energy policy analysts say. Under President Joe Biden, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy has kept a tight lid on how the administration advances its climate agenda, Chris Horner, an attorney representing a government transparency group, told The Daily Signal. Horner said the White House science office refuses to respond forthrightly to related open records requests from his nonprofit group, Energy Policy Advocates. Such answers, he said, would enlighten Americans on the White House’s recruitment of outside activists and academics to discredit dissenters on climate change. “It’s sort of like paying someone else to take your LSAT test,” Dan Kish, a senior fellow with the Washington-based nonprofit Institute for Energy Research, told The Daily Signal. Horner’s Energy Policy Advocates has filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the White House science office after it declined to release records detailing some of the correspondence of two of its staffers. The lawsuit, filed in May, cites

Murphy: Top Banker at HSBC Resigns After Announcing “Investors Need Not Worry About Climate Risk”
Less than two months after giving a controversial speech at a Financial Times event, where he downplayed the risk that climate change poses for investors, Stuart Kirk, formerly the global head of responsible investments at HSBC Asset Management, announced his resignation from that position. In the announcement posted on LinkedIn, Kirk lamented that the backlash over his May speech had made his situation at the bank “unsustainable.” In his presentation at the May Financial Times event, Kirk blasted the climate change hyperbole saturating media today, comparing it to the Y2K scare of the late 1990s. “I feel like it’s getting a little bit out of hand,” Kirk said. “The constant reminder that we are doomed; the constant reminder that within decades it’s all over, and indeed [as another presenter] said, ‘We are not going to survive.’” Indeed. Given the calamitous tone of the rhetoric surrounding the so-called climate emergency, how can someone like Kirk get anyone interested in investing in anything except for survivalist supplies? “There is no place for virtue signalling in finance,” Kirk pointed out. “Likewise as a writer, researcher and investor, I know that words or trading shares can only achieve so much. True impact comes from the combination of real-world action and innovative solutions.” Kirk also took a swipe at cancel culture in his announcement. […] Kirk’s common sense was a bridge too far for many in his own company.
Simmons: How To Recognize Civilization When You See It
What Does ‘Civilization’ Mean, Anyway? I’ll say nothing here about civis, civil, or civic. Let’s plow beyond etymology and ask: What do we mean, as individuals, when we say that someone, not a certain society, is “civilized”? Can that assertion point to anything solid beyond vague approval? This idea has proven notoriously resistant to capture. Nearly 90 years ago, Clive Bell, one of the London Bloomsbury aesthetes, wrote a small book in which he tried to define civilization. He said a few worthy things, but as with almost any such effort to pin down quicksilver, his effort was frustrated. One also gets the impression that a perquisite to being civilized to him would be to read all the right books, drink all the right brandies, and approve all the right paintings. Not a bad start, perhaps, particularly if ideas and beauty hold any lasting value, but a far from adequate terminus. […] . . .let us raise a practical question: If we come to discover that defining civilization is too onerous a task, can we at least recognize civilization when we see it? Here are a few signposts that we are living civilized lives in a more or less civilized society. Take this as a kind of wine-glass manifesto: Tracy’s Whimsical Signposts of Civilized Life. We know we’re civilized: When we realize both consciously and instinctively that human beings are improvable but not perfectible. When the family, not the state, is acknowledged as the basic and essential unit of society. When writers and speakers limit their pseudo-scientific language that patronizingly considers families as ‘units.” When normal people who wish only to raise their families with minimal interference are not treated as suspect at best or freaks at worst. When we dutifully correct a child when he asks “can I” when he means “may I.” When we recognize that each of us is a member of a species with a timeline, and that our very existence is a privilege and occasion for gratitude.
Grattan: Preserve Our “Little Platoons”
While the family unit continues to give America its societal backbone, it faces increasing criticism and scrutiny. Calls for the abolition of the family unit resound from the woke Left. The BLM website championed the dismantling of the “Western-prescribed nuclear family structure,” calling it patriarchal and oppressive. In place of the family unit, the “trained Marxists” in charge of BLM plan to institute mythical collectivized “extended families” that will assume responsibility for child-rearing. The family structure as we know it is one of the few safeguards against socialism and the degeneration of society. That’s why the Left hates it so much. Prominent feminist authors published by esteemed presses offer polemics on doing away with the family in the name of ”care and liberation.” At a time when America leads the world in single-parent households, the traditional family is in desperate need of defense.A top-down, centralized universal preschool program and childcare services were proposed recently for three and four-year-olds to advance democracy. However, studies show that sending children to industrialized daycare can . . .

Kramer: Parents Say Critical Race Theory, Gender Ideology In Arizona Schools, Despite What The Deniers Say
Parents and other stakeholders say that despite a mountain of evidence, there remains a large group of activists, along with the media outlets that support them, who continue to deny that teachers are bringing radical racial and sexual conversations into classrooms, without parental consent. .”The presence of CRT is not confined to public schools. Brophy Preparatory School taught students that Tucker Carlson was racist. An Altadena Middle School teacher was recorded teaching a 6th grade class about gender identity and not trusting their parents. A Tucson high school hosted a drag show. One of the drag show teachers is “working to unlearn practices maintained by white supremacy, capitalism, and patriarchy.” Paradise Valley Unified were less-than-pleased to learn that teachers assigned porn to high schoolers. Chandler Unified has faced harsh criticism for offering controversial Critical Race Theory and gender identity books to students, and attempted to implement CRT under the revised name of “Windows, Mirrors & Sliding Glass Doors.” Peoria Unified introduced Critical Theory through Bloom365 which teaches boys about “healthy masculinity,” including that to be an acceptable man one must adhere to gender identity as truth. In Scottsdale, the district’s strategic plan includes a commitment to “culturally responsive teaching,” which is progressives’ buzzword for Critical Race Theory. […] Scottsdale’s Cocopah Middle School hosted a GLSEN Day of Silence in which 11-13 year-old students were asked to proclaim their pronouns and protest in support of LBGTQ+ individuals. At Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain High School, the Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) teacher led a discussion about intersectionality in which she asked students to rank themselves by skin color and sexual identity to determine which of them was the most marginalized.

Heine: Sen. Hawley Clashes With Berkeley Professor After She Repeatedly Uses Phrase, ‘People With the Capacity for Pregnancy’
During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the impact of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade Tuesday, a pro-abortion witness repeatedly used the phrase “people with the capacity for pregnancy” to describe “pregnant women,” prompting ridicule from conservatives on social media, and Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) to say Democrats “have lost their minds.” Hawley questioned University of California at Berkeley law professor Khiara Bridges over her use of the absurd phrase after she uttered it five times in one minute during a back-and-forth with Senator John Cornyn. “You used a phrase several times. I want to make sure I understand what you mean by it,” the Missouri Senator said. Bridges reacted to Hawley’s line of questioning by accusing him of opening transgender people to violence. […] “The Democrats have become such extremists. Now their official line is men can get pregnant — and if you disagree, you’re violent,” Hawley said. “They have lost their minds and the whole country can see it.”

McCarthy: The Left’s obsession with transgenderism is barbaric
How to explain the Democrat party’s obsession with transgenderism, with shoving it down the throats of every American, from ages five and up? It’s inexplicable. Does every registered Democrat support confusing small children with gender identity indoctrination? That can’t be true. But school districts across the country are using books about all manner of sexual issues, including pornography, topics way beyond the grasp of small children. And they are using those books without parents’ knowledge. When parents discover these books and object, they are threatened. Grooming, a word that once applied to other cultures or the worst sadists, grooming young children for sex with adults, now applies to public schools in America with the full support of American Democrats in Congress. […] One thing we should all know by now is that the left despises children. Despite Nancy Pelosi’s oft-repeated mantra for everything – “It’s for the children” – the left has long made clear their antipathy for children.

Lott, Jr.: How Vax Mandates And Regulatory Red Tape Created A Critical Airline Pilot Shortage
Noticed that your flights are frequently canceled or delayed? You can thank government mandates and Obama-era training policies. […] We are facing a massive pilot shortage and air travel is only going to get worse and it’s thanks to these three coalescing events: regulatory changes by Obama when he was president, vaccine mandates, and a large number of pilots who were forced to retire as airlines scrambled to stay afloat during the pandemic. […] Some pilots also point to airline vaccine mandates as making it difficult to fill positions. There are other smaller problems, such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) still requiring 10-day mandatory quarantine for pilots even though the CDC only recommends 5-days. Yet, it is now much more difficult than it used to be to recruit new pilots. While people are discussing the large number of retirements and the vaccine mandate, the other regulatory changes are preventing the system from adjusting. When Obama took office, pilots needed 250 hours of flight experience to be licensed to fly U.S. passenger and cargo airplanes. But in 2010, Obama signed a six-fold increase into law — increasing the requisite number of hours to 1,500. [Note: Consider that a shortage of airline pilots means fewer flights which then reduces the carbon footprint and advances a climate agenda goal of the globalist World Economic Forum and the World Health Organization. Mission partially accomplished.]
(From 2/7/2029) Seyton: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal Aims to Eliminate Air Travel
In other words, the Green New Deal wants to make commercial air travel obsolete. Is this in any way feasible? The short answer is no. “It’s actually probably even dumber than it seems,” says Baruch Feigenbaum, assistant director of transportation policy at the Reason Foundation, the nonprofit that publishes this website. Paul Blair, director of strategic initiatives at Americans for Tax Reform, was even blunter. “The Green New Deal reads like word vomit from a 13-year-old child asked to scribble out their bold new thoughts for a radically different America than we have today,” Blair said in a email to Reason. “This includes the phasing out of American air travel.” [ Note: Perhaps airline travel will not become obsolete but the number of flights may never return to the pre-pandemic number.]
Goodman: Wisconsin Dem Who Calls Republican a Russian Apologist Traveled to Russia Shortly After Putin’s Controversial 2012 Election
Wisconsin Democratic Senate candidate Alex Lasry—who has spent the past few weeks slamming Sen. Ron Johnson (R.) for traveling four years ago on a congressional delegation to Moscow—visited Russia himself shortly after President Vladimir Putin’s controversial election in 2012, according to a now-deleted post on Lasry’s Facebook page. Lasry, the son of a hedge fund billionaire, posted a photo of himself posing on a gold-carved, red velvet throne while dining at a luxury tourist restaurant inside an imperial palace in Saint Petersburg, Russia, according to a copy of the June 17, 2012, post obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. “Oh I just can’t wait to be king,” wrote Lasry in the caption for the photo, in which he is holding a red crystal goblet.
(ILLINOIS) Sabino: Cook County Jail Detainees Had A Higher Voter Turnout In The Primary Than The City As A Whole
Chicago Board of Elections data shows dismal voter turnout for the June 28 primary, with just 20 percent of all registered voters casting a ballot citywide, less than the 29 percent of primary voters who turned out in 2018 and 2020. By comparison, about 25 percent of the detainees at Cook County Jail voted, with 1,384 votes cast from the jail out of an average June jail population of 5,560, according to the the Cook County Sheriff’s Department and the Chicago Board of Elections. […] The overwhelming majority of people in jail are presumed innocent since they have not yet had their day in court, so it is paramount they still have access to the polls, said Alex Boutros, a community organizer for Chicago Votes, a voting advocacy group. Many of the roles on the ballot, like the Cook County Sheriff and appellate and circuit judges, wield tremendous power over the justice system. That makes it essential for people accused of a crime who are directly involved in the courts or the jail to have access to the polls, Boutros said.

Rooke: Democrats Launch Ads In Lifestyle Mags In All Out Push For Abortion
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) launched a digital ad campaign Tuesday in several lifestyle magazines telling readers that Republicans want to outlaw abortion nationwide. The DNC purchased at least $10,000 in digital ads in over 20 lifestyle publications to focus on abortion rights issues as the midterms approach, the Associated Press reported. Magazines like Teen Vogue, Elle, Refinery29, Essence, GQ, Esquire, Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan and Glamour, hosted the DNC’s ads, reported the AP. […] The latest Associated Press-NORC poll released Friday showed that only 16% of Americans feel abortion is the biggest issue facing the U.S. In comparison, 40% of U.S. adults said they were more worried about inflation and 33% said gas prices, according to the poll.
Watson: New Dystopian Law Would Give All Social Media Users a ‘Truth Score’
In another manifestation of the onerous ‘social credit score’ system, an amendment to a bill in the UK would mandate all social media users be given a ‘truth score’ that pre-determines the accuracy of their posts. The amendment has been proposed to be added to the already odious ‘Online Safety Bill’, which would censor “legal but harmful” content, and was introduced by Conservative Party lawmaker John Penrose. “Like something out of dystopian fiction, Penrose, the MP for Weston-super-Mare, has proposed that the government forces online platforms to maintain a score of how truthful a person is, determined by their past statements,” writes Dan Frieth.
Are you fed up? Are you worried that America in rapidly sliding into a neo-Marxist state by the radical left in control of Washington with historically narrow majorities in the U.S. House and Senate and an Executive controlled by unnamed far leftists in place of a clinically incompetent President Biden? They are desperate to keep power and complete their radical progressive agenda that will change America and our liberty forever.
Americans just witnessed the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 without one Republican vote in the U.S. Senate and House (just as Obamacare was passed in 2010). The IRS will be hiring 87,000 new agents, many armed, to terrorize American taxpayers.
Americans witnessed the FBI raid at the Trump Mar-A-Lago home and property of President Trump, truly a first in all of American history. We know what that is about.
It is undeniable that the Democrat Party and the administrative state (the executive branches of the DOJ, FBI, IRS, et al) are clear and present dangers to our Republic and our liberty as they increasingly veer further away from the rule of law and the Constitution. What is the solution? At this critical juncture, there is only one action we can all take.
The only viable and timely solution at this critical point is to vote – yes, vote correctly and smartly to retake the U.S. House and Senate on November 8th and to prepare the way to retake the White House in two years. Vote and help everyone you know to vote. Please click the TAKE ACTION link below – we must vote correctly and in great numbers to be sure our votes are counted to diminish the potential for the left to rig and steal the midterms and the 2024 elections as they are clearly intending to do after their success in 2020.
