Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife Ginni Thomas continue to expose the left’s double standards and downright gaslighting on Supreme Court ethics and marriages. In 2022, it’s astonishing to read and hear that Justice Thomas must recuse himself from cases because of his wife’s views on the 2020 election. After she was interviewed by the Jan. 6 Committee, many on the left lost their minds because Ginni Thomas had concerns that there were fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election. Many claimed that because of this her husband must recuse from any case on this topic or any topic on which she has opined. The corporate media and leftist hypocrisy is on full display, as there is a celebrated case on which they took exactly the opposite view. But back then it involved an extremely left-wing federal judge refusing to recuse from a case even though his equally left-wing wife publicly opined on the case.

Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake was kicked out of the audience at her own race’s town hall event, during which her Democratic opponent, Katie Hobbs, refused to take the stage with Lake present. After a brief confrontation between Lake, who requested to take the stage alongside her rival, and the event’s moderator, the gubernatorial hopeful was forced to leave the auditorium for the forum to begin. Hobbs, who has repeatedly refused to debate Trump-endorsed Lake, was set to take the stage at the pre-recorded town hall on Monday at Phoenix’s Herberger Theater Center when event organizers told the Republican to leave the room, reported NBC. […] According to eyewitness accounts, event moderator León Krauze, a Univision News anchor, invited Hobbs to the stage, but she did not come out. […] ”I would love to be on the same stage actually. Trump is a fascist, says the military intelligence checkbook. I wrote this morning about the disinformation expert Caroline Orr Bueno, a postdoctoral fellow at ARLIS — the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security at the University of Maryland (who is identified as Caroline Orr on her ARLIS profile, so that’s the name I’ve used for her). Orr aggressively and repeatedly argues against the American political right, framing conservative politics as fascist and describing Donald Trump as an authoritarian figure. She makes a political argument, and she does it often. This is true not only of her social media posts, but also of her published work. She’s a pro-Antifa political partisan (more about this in a moment), specifically arguing against the right and against Donald Trump rather than only studying disinformation across the political spectrum. Now: ARLIS, where Orr works, is primarily funded by the Department of Defense, and its “core sponsor” is the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security. Hazard: National Guard lost thousands of service members, could lose more due to COVID-19 vaccine mandate
he National Guard lost roughly 7,500 service members in the past year, and could lose more as a result of the government’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate, The Epoch Times reports. Part of the reason that recruiting numbers are so low for the national guard and the military in general is that more and more soldiers are choosing not to reenlist after their tour ends, according to the Associated Press, while others are choosing early retirement. Army National Guard chief of staff Maj. Gen. Rich Baldwin said in an interview with the AP that current staffing challenges are the worst he’s seen in 20 years. The Army National Guard is predicting the loss of up to 14,000 soldiers across the United States over the next couple of years if they refuse to comply with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate, according to The Epoch Times.

This book attempts to provide that understanding and construct the First Amendment’s Religion Clauses on the basis of the founders’ shared political philosophy of religious freedom, while remaining cognizant of and open to their (and our) disagreements about the separation of church and state. Part 1 of my book sets forth the founders’ natural rights political philosophy of religious freedom. I attempt to show that the founders held the right to worship according to conscience to be a natural right possessed by all individuals.
