It also makes sense for an expert in war technologies who knows about studies on the enhanced man (a document of the British Ministry of Defense calls him “augmented man” in transhumanistic terms) and is therefore able to recognize in graphene nanostructures the technology that enables the augmentation of the war performance of military personnel. And a telemedicine expert will be able to recognize in those nanostructures the indispensable device that sends biomedical parameters to the patient control server and also receives certain signals from it. It’s seemed evident for a while that the current fiat monetary system is, at best, unstable. At worst, it’s a Ponzi scheme whose time has expired. If that’s the case, I suspect the central bankers and 0.1% know this and might be prepared to usher in the new system before the old one collapses on itself – even as they loot it on the way down with the most significant wealth transfer in human history. To anyone who pays attention to these trends, it seems evident that Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) will be that new system. Every indication is that CBDC’s arrival is imminent. Yesterday, several global banks announced a partnership with the NY Federal Reserve to pilot digital dollars. Given the ubiquity of credit/debit cards, payment apps, and other online payment systems, digital money has been bound to happen for some time. The risk isn’t the electronic part, that’s inevitable – it’s the fact that a central bank will oversee the digital currency. From my vantage point, it’s impossible to overstate the risk presented by CBDC. Whether it’s a utopian vision based on good intentions or a sinister plot to crush our sovereignty, the result may be the same: control. A Central Bank Digital Currency has all the downsides of fiat money, plus the added layers of surveillance and programmability overseen by the state.

The Supreme Court on Monday issued an unusually forceful and detailed rebuttal to ethics concerns raised by two Democratic lawmakers about a drive by religious conservatives to wine and dine some justices. The court’s counterpunch came in a letter to Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), after the lawmakers threatened a congressional probe if the court did not launch its own inquiry into the claims. The two-page letter from the Supreme Court’s legal counsel, Ethan Torrey, repeats and expands on earlier denials of impropriety issued by Justice Samuel Alito, following reports in POLITICO, The New York Times and Rolling Stone about a concerted campaign by religious-right activists to encourage more conservative decisions by the justices by building connections with them in social settings.

Rutherford Institute: Supreme Court Allows Government to Deny Sixth Amendment Protections to Citizens in Criminal Cases, Disregard Right to Twelve-Person Jury Trial

The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to rein in the government’s power to indiscriminately pick and choose the laws by which it will abide, especially as it relates to the Sixth Amendment rights of the accused in criminal cases. In refusing to hear an appeal in Khorrami v. Arizona, the Supreme Court let stand a lower court ruling that undermines the longstanding right to have a trial by an impartial jury of twelve fellow citizens. In his dissent over the denial of the appeal, Justice Neil Gorsuch agreed with the arguments advanced by The Rutherford Institute and the ACLU in their amicus brief, and warned that allowing juries of less than twelve people for serious criminal charges “continues to undermine the integrity of the Nation’s judicial proceedings and deny the American people a liberty their predecessors long and justly considered inviolable.”

Here’s another reason you shouldn’t trust Google with your location data. […] The FBI’s biggest-ever investigation included the biggest-ever haul of phones from controversial geofence warrants, court records show. A filing in the case of one of the January 6 suspects, David Rhine, shows that Google initially identified 5,723 devices as being in or near the US Capitol during the riot. Only around 900 people have so far been charged with offenses relating to the siege. The filing suggests that dozens of phones that were in airplane mode during the riot, or otherwise out of cell service, were caught up in the trawl. Nor could users erase their digital trails later. In fact, 37 people who attempted to delete their location data following the attacks were singled out by the FBI for greater scrutiny.

Alaska’s sole congressional seat, which had been in GOP hands for 49 years, was recently captured by Democrat Mary Peltola. The victory has been touted by liberals as either vindication of their agenda or as portending the end of the career of Sarah Palin, Peltola’s most high-profile opponent. Yet the result, which took weeks to finalize, was easily explainable: It was a function of Alaska’s new ranked-choice voting (RCV) and Top-four Primary (TFP) system — a system electoral engineers would like to institute nationwide. In essence, this system created a situation in which Palin and another Republican, Nick Begich, were both running against Peltola in the general election and divided up the GOP vote. So he can become Minority Leader in the House, but Kari Lake should not be governor? But one need not be “an election denier” to reasonably argue that for example, Arizona’s recent election cycle was so . . . […] Election rigging means manipulating the rules of the game in such a manner as to create an outcome favorable to one side. This may include some violations of law, ethics, or just rules of fair play. We think there is more evidence of rigging than stealing, but we remain open to the latter. In a way, that is not good. Stealing can be dealt with but rigging is often legal.

Neff: Election Lawsuits Take Center Stage Across Arizona

A judge suggested Monday there could be “several” elections challenges filed in courts across Arizona in the coming days, but as of the end of the day there were six key active lawsuits which could reasonably impact Arizona’s election results. A lawsuit filed last week by Abe Hamadeh, the Republican candidate for Attorney General, along with the Republican National Committee was the subject of oral arguments Monday afternoon about whether the lawsuit should be dismissed. […] Just hours before the hearing in Hamadeh’s case, an election challenge was filed Monday morning by Shelby Busch which calls into question whether Maricopa County officials mishandled the tabulation of write in votes for the Legislative District 22 state senate race. […] Also on Monday, two lawsuits were filed against the Cochise County Board of Supervisors in an effort to force at least one of the two Republican supervisors to vote with the board’s Democratic chairwoman to canvass the county’s election results. […] The sixth active election-related lawsuit was filed last week by the Kari Lake for Arizona committee. That case involves efforts to force Maricopa County officials to “promptly” respond to a public records request.

Of the current lawsuits, the one involving the race between Hamadeh and Mayes could have the most widespread impact.

Whedon: Arizona county board supervisors say they voted to certify election ‘under duress’

Two members of the Mohave County, Ariz., Board of Supervisors on Monday voted to certify the results of the Nov. 8 midterm elections “under duress,” claiming he was forced to do so under threat of jail time. “I vote ‘aye’ under duress. I found out today that I have no choice but to vote ‘Aye’ or I will be arrested and charged with a felony,” Gould said while casting his vote. “I don’t think that that is what the founders had in mind when they used the democratic process to elect our leaders.” Gould was not alone in certifying the election results “under duress.” Fellow board supervisor Hildy Angius also claimed she would face legal action for not certifying the result and further expressed a desire to avoid disenfranchising voters.

And while the five-page response to Jennifer Wright, head of the AGO’s elections integrity unit, includes the county’s legal arguments about some issued with the 2022 General Election, one thing it does not include is an apology from Maricopa County officials for the problems experienced by thousands of voters. In fact, the response letter authored by Thomas Liddy, the division chief of the county attorney’s civil services division, simply calls the printer problems “regrettable.” Liddy’s letter to Wright was released with a written statement from Bill Gates, the county’s board chairman who has come under fire since Election Day for his tone and demeanor in addressing the printer issues.

The bill was fast-tracked by an agreement to allow votes on amendments from Sens. Mike Lee (R-Utah), James Lankford (R-Ind.) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) aimed at protecting religious freedom. Monday’s vote was held open for several hours as three GOP senators who have supported the bill – Sens. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) – withheld their pivotal votes until a deal was reached.

Beaudoin’s findings demonstrate that the COVID-19 death toll in Massachusetts was largely confined to a short window of time in 2020, and that COVID-19 deaths in 2020 resulted from pulmonary causes — in contrast to COVID-19 deaths in 2021, which were more closely linked to illnesses of the heart and blood. There is no reasonable way to explain how SARS-CoV-2 dramatically changed the way it attacks and kills human beings and why it did so at precisely the time the experimental mRNA inoculations were deployed. Beaudoin’s analysis also suggests that medical fraud and negligence may have been in play on a scale yet to be definitively determined. Scism: Life-Insurance Payouts Hit Record $100 Billion in 2021

U.S. life insurers paid a record $100 billion in 2021 in death benefits, fueled by another year of Covid-19 deaths, an industry trade group said.

Payouts rose 11% in 2021 to $100.19 billion, most likely due to the pandemic, according to the American Council of Life Insurers. The increase was on the heels of a 15% year-over-year rise in 2020, when death-benefit payments totaled $90.43 billion. The ACLI compiles data from annual filings by insurers to state insurance departments. Given limitations in the filings, the group can’t break down causes of death, but it is reasonable to attribute the bulk of the increases to the pandemic, said Andrew Melnyk, ACLI vice president of research and chief economist. The year-over-year increases are among the largest since the 1918 flu pandemic, when payments surged 41%. They are far above the 4.9% average from 2011 to 2021, the ACLI said.

What we found will shock you. TrevorSpace markets itself as a safe space for LGBTQ+ young people to talk about their experiences with identity and peer/familial rejection, which sounds like a great idea. But browsing the website for merely a few minutes makes it abundantly clear what it actually is: an online dating service for children and people aged 13-24.
