Joseph is a registered Democrat, and he’s married to a man. Clearly, this isn’t a “witch hunt” by a group of Trump-supporting IRS renegades. A group of more than two dozen House Republicans led by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, is introducing legislation Wednesday to defund climate envoy John Kerry’s office at the State Department.

The No Taxpayer Funding for Climate Zealots Advancing Radical Schemes Act would prohibit any federal funds — including for salary, administrative, and travel expenses — from being appropriated for Kerry’s office. In 2021, President Biden appointed Kerry to be the first-ever special presidential envoy for climate, a position that didn’t require Senate approval, and gives him a spot on the president’s cabinet and National Security Council. “Climate czar John Kerry is the poster child for the Biden administration’s anti-energy policies that are destroying both our economy and national security,” Roy told Fox News Digital in a statement.

Commerce Committee. The failure could have “grave implications” for the actions of Dr. Fauci during his “unlawful tenure.” According to Section 2033 of the 21st Century Cures Act, titled “Increasing Accountability at the National Institutes of Health,” Fauci’s five-year term expired on December 21, 2021. Fauci continued as NIAID boss until retirement on December 31, 2022 and, “if Dr. Fauci was never reappointed, every action he took is potentially invalid.” (emphasis added) During that time, Fauci served as Biden’s chief medical adviser and “regularly attended high-level meetings” with policy makers “including the National Security Council and the intelligence committee.” Fauci “awarded a new grant to EcoHealth Alliance” despite unanswered concerns about possible double billing of USAID and NIH for the same research.

“The FDA first authorized remdesivir for emergency use in May 2020 to treat people with severe COVID-19. It has since been approved for adults and children as young as 28 days who weigh at least 6.6 pounds. The FDA approved it despite: “[Those] who took remdesivir were more likely to experience acute kidney injury (AKI), sepsis, COVID-19 pneumonia, sudden death, and heart problems. “Remdesivir should never have been approved in the first place,” Dr. Paul Marik, critical care physician and author of more than 500 peer-reviewed journal articles told The Epoch Times. “Gilead had to cook the data to be approved. Anger: Valkyrie: Remembering the July 20 Plot Against Hitler

Whether or not assassination is a legitimate means of resistance is a point that will be keenly debated. That said, there can be no denying that the efforts of Claus von Stauffenberg and the other German conspirators who tried to kill Adolf Hitler in July 1944 are a striking testimony to the decency and resolve of the men and women who refused to collaborate with tyranny. The plot by German officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler is a story nicely retold in the 2008 film Valkyrie, directed by Bryan Singer. Shortly after the movie’s release, a memoir by a surviving conspirator, Philipp von Boeselager (1917-2008), appeared in English under the title Valkyrie: The Story of the Plot to Kill Hitler by its Last Member (Vintage Books, 2009). The title is somewhat misleading, since Boeselager was not involved in the famous attempt led by Count von Stauffenberg (portrayed by Tom Cruise in the movie). But the author was nevertheless an active participant in plans which came very close to eliminating the Nazi leader.

These scholars provide astute insights into modern American progressivism, tracing the roots of today’s progressivism to the turn of the 20^th century, specifically to Woodrow Wilson. In Progressivism: The Strange History of a Radical Idea, Watson summarizes the argument as follows: “The progressives, as progenitors of modern liberalism, claimed that the new conceptions of the nation, role, and limits (or lack thereof) on national government were needed for problems perceived to be wholly new—especially, in the beginning at least, economic problems.” From Woodrow Wilson’s project of an enlarged government, overseen and administered by the new elite of professionals, came subsequent progressive reforms in the New Deal, Great Society, and up to today under the Obama-Biden presidencies.

Jason Aldean’s new music video for his song “Try That In A Small Town,” with anti-riot lyrics that slam leftist policies, has skyrocketed to the number one spot on the iTunes chart amid backlash against the singer. The 46-year-old country singer’s song hit the airwaves in May, but it wasn’t until he released a video for it on July 14 that the song started generating headlines claiming it was “racist,” “pro-lynching,” and more. Following the backlash, Country Music Television (CMT) pulled the singer’s music video and has yet to respond as to why. Aldean has hit back against the criticism, calling it “meritless” and “dangerous.” […] “There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage -and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far,” he added. The country star wrote that this song is about the “feeling of a community that I had growing up, where we took care of our neighbors, regardless of differences of background or belief. Because they were our neighbors, and that was above any differences.”

On Monday, Country Music Television (CMT) confirmed it stopped airing Jason Aldean’s newly released music video for his song “Try That in a Small Town.” According to CMT and virtually every corporate media outlet, Aldean’s song is wildly racist and “pro-lynching.” […] In his music video, Aldean flashes powerful images (of mostly white people) committing crimes, screaming in the faces of stoic cops, and lighting cities on fire. To all these urban looters and rioters, Aldean has a message: “That sh-t may fly in the city. Good luck trying that in a small town.” […] In other words, Aldean’s song is an assertion that rural Americans can and will defend themselves if faced with the same leftist political violence and chaos that has been unleashed on the metropolises. For the new woke world order to exist, the left needs the citizenry, and particularly men, to be neutered (hence why they label masculinity “toxic”). Abled-bodied males are expected to stand down when, for example, a violent, deranged criminal threatens to “hurt anyone on this train” in the New York City subway. If one dares intervene to protect those around him, he risks severe punishment. I know Aldean is right when he sings that small-town Americans will defend themselves against leftist criminals because I’ve seen it. When I did on-the-ground reporting in Kenosha, Wisconsin, following the 2020 shooting of Jacob Blake, I witnessed men face off against out-of-state Marxist rioters who sought to destroy their city.

Chastain: San Antonio Publication Apologizes for ‘Offensive’ Email ‘Invoking Patriotism’ and Founding Fathers

San Antonio, TX, is literally known as Military City USA. The city trademarked the term in 2017. “San Antonio is home to one of the largest concentrations of military bases in the United States,” states the city’s tourism page. “San Antonio is also home to the Department of Defense’s largest medical center at Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston. We are very proud to welcome the families of the 39,000 students who graduate from military training here each year, because for us, training, equipping and caring for America’s service members is a way of life. We are Military City, USA ®. And, we could not be more proud.”

The background is important to know before you read the post. I’m glad my friend reminded me of San Antonio’s nickname and forwarded me these emails. The San Antonio Current, a publication you find in restaurants and bars, apologized for an offensive “sponsored email invoking patriotism and the spirit of ‘our founding fathers’ by promoting the sale of U.S. flag emblazoned pistols.”

It was their first claim to the majority in 12 years, with a 102-101 margin they have since maintained through several special elections. […] Another Democratic Rep. Tawil: Palestinians’ Summer Camps To Kill Jews

For more than a decade, the Iranian-backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas terror groups have been holding summer camps for thousands of schoolchildren throughout the Gaza Strip. These camps have served as a framework for inculcating an extreme ideology that glorifies Jihad (holy war), terrorism, and armed struggle against Israel with the aim of “liberating Palestine from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea.”
The camps also provide military training, such as practice with knives and firearms; hand-to-hand combat, and marching and foot drills. The children also stage plays and enact scenes of fighting and capturing Israeli soldiers or firing rockets at Israel.
On July 8, Hamas launched its summer camps for 2023, with the participation of more than 100,000 boys and girls…. The children are being trained to carry out terror attacks and serve as human shields in the Jihad against Israel.
In June 2022, Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh denied any trace of Jewish history in Jerusalem…
When Hamas talks about “liberation,” it is expressing its desire to eliminate Israel, as explicitly stated in the charter of the group:
