John Green contributor to American Thinker: Ben Franklin famously said, “You’ve got a republic, if you can keep it.” That warning is particularly haunting now, because we seem on the verge of losing it — not from foreign invasion, not from revolution, but because we stopped caring about it.

Victor Davis Hanson conservative commentator, author and contributor to American Greatness: What is the Biden way? To surveille, monitor, root out, raid, jail, confine, and smear all impediments to fundamental transformation.

Joy Pullmann contributor to The Federalist: There’s strong evidence that Democrats’ subservience to unions at the expense of children is a driving factor in this systemic display of racial injustice.

President Trump tweeted news that Twitter missed growth expectations: Shares are off 15% today. Bad forecasts are hurting the outlook but more importantly, in my opinion, it has become totally BORING as people flock to leave the site. Michael Nathanson stated, ‘the math doesn’t make sense’ as he lowered his price target. I guess that’s what happens when you go against FREEDOM OF SPEECH! It will happen to others also.

Andrea Widburg contributor to America Thinker: Frank Luntz is a man who has no loyalty, yet the Republican party leadership is incredibly loyal to him. He’s the one who tells them that Republican voters love illegal immigration, want amnesty, and think it’s a great idea for the government to take their weapons.

Joseph Pearce contributor to The Imaginative Conservative: If the critical race theorists spent less time hating their neighbours for the colour of their skin and more time studying the history that they seek to cancel, they would see that it is they and not any particular race who have been humanity’s bane.

Dr. Vladimir Zelenko who treated COVID-19 patients with Hydroxychloroquine nominated for Nobel Peace Prize: “Treat early and live.”

Dr. Steven Hatfill an infectious disease expert: “The fact is normal vaccine development takes a long time. And you only rush it in a dire emergency if there’s no effective drug treatment. There was interference with the use of hydroxychloroquine, intentional interference. And we’re in the mess that we’re in.

Dr. Emanuel, a Texas physician, has successfully treated over 20,000 patients for COVID-19 using the Hydroxychloroquine cocktail: “ It’s not the scary disease everybody makes it to be. And it has effective treatment and effective prevention. So, I believe some of the hype is because they want people to take vaccines.” “This disease is very manageable. It is easy to treat.”

DCist 4/30/2021 tweet: Overheard in D.C.: “I guess I’m vaccinated so I don’t have to wear a mask outside but … I really don’t want people to think I’m a Republican.”

Bob Owens contributor to PJMedia, in 2008, asked Larry Grathwohl who infiltrated the Bill Ayers terrorist group the Weather Underground. “ Would you let your children attend a college or university class taught by Ayers or his wife, Bernadine Dohrn? What would you tell parents who have had their children exposed to Ayers’ academic programs, like the Small Schools Workshop? Grathwohl replied: As for Billy’s ideas on education, isn’t it apparent? Reading, writing, and arithmetic aren’t important! Radicalism is what’s important. Fits right in with the Billy Ayers view of creating mindless soldiers to follow his commands — where best to lay the foundations of a revolution than with the young?

Feldman: The Never-ending Hunt for a Trump Crime
The news that federal investigators searched and seized electronic devices from the apartment and office of Rudy Giuliani, a Trump lawyer, raises so many questions and involves so much missing information that even someone as skilled a mystery writer as Patricia Cornwell might have difficulty unraveling the story. I’m not that person, unfortunately, but let me try to make some sense out of this crime story. […] More outrageous than the search and seizure was the revelation by Giuliani that in late 2019 the Department of Justice “covertly obtained access to my iCloud and never notified me, They invaded the attorney client relationship as we were defending against the phony impeachment. These prosecutors violated the laws, not me.” 2019? The attorney general then was William Barr. Did he authorize such a travesty — violating the attorney-client privileged communications between the president and his lawyer? That seems hard to believe. A very serious breach of the fundamental rights of any defendant. Alan Dershowitz agreed to help and explains how serious a breach the invasion of Giuliani’s iCloud is.

Roach: The Deep State is Back
When Biden says “America is back” and praises “our democracy,” it’s clear he means a return to the pre-Trump status quo, including the meddlesome and ungoverned Deep State. […] The main problem with searching Giuliani’s office is that much of what he likely possesses is privileged, since he acted as the President’s lawyer post-election. In addition, his work in Ukraine on behalf of President Trump likely has executive privilege. These are important protections, usually taken for granted. Getting Giuliani’s documents and computers will allow various people with their toes in Ukraine—including the Biden family—to figure out what Trump and Giuliani know. It will also allow Biden’s protectors to . . .

Lifson: Austin, TX voters overwhelmingly reject propositions pushed by progressives
There are signs that the left has created a backlash by overplaying its hand. Even in a stronghold of the left like Austin, Texas, where in 2019 homeless people were allowed to erect their tents on city-owned land, including parks and sidewalks, thanks to the progressive-dominated city council. All the problems any sane person would predict started happening immediately. And that led to a voter initiative to reinstate the camping ban, Proposition B. Here is a tweet from the group that petitioned to get the proposition on the ballot, demonstrating the need for the ban: . . It won Saturday in a vote that was startling for its margin in a city often compared to Berkeley and Madison. KVUE TV reports: . . . […] A second proposition backed by progressives, this one aimed at political reconfiguration, also failed . . .

Widburg: When it comes to GOP failings, Tucker Carlson names a name
Tucker Carlson opened Friday night’s show with a pointed critique. The rhetorical question was why the Republican leadership is so disconnected from Republican voters. One of the reasons, he said, is Frank Luntz. For decades, Luntz has been giving the GOP leadership its talking points. The problem is that Luntz is not a conservative; he is a corporate servant and his points always align with corporate America – and lately, corporate America has been aligning with the woke left. First, watch the video. Then, get back to me and we’ll talk: . . . […] It’s time that the bureaucrats who control our lives stop being nameless and faceless. And it’s time that the Republicans who think Frank Luntz speaks for the rest of us should stop being nameless too.

Saavedra: Swiss Billionaire Pumps $208 Million Into Left-Wing Groups That Help Democrats Win Elections: NYT Report
An explosive report from The New York Times this week outlines how a Swiss billionaire has become a top player in influencing U.S. politics in a manner that helps Democrat politicians win elections even though it is not clear whether the individual is a U.S. citizen. The report said that Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss has donated massive amounts of money “though a daisy chain of opaque organizations that mask the ultimate recipients of his money.” “Newly obtained tax filings show that Mr. Wyss’s foundations donated $208 million from 2016 through early last year to three nonprofit funds that doled out money to a wide array of groups that backed progressive causes and helped Democrats in their efforts to win the White House and control of Congress last year,” the report said

Bleau: CNN Poll: 64% Say Voter ID Requirements Make Elections ‘More Fair’
Notably, 64 percent of respondents said requiring voters to provide photo identification before casting a ballot would make elections “more fair,” compared to 17 percent who said “less fair,” and 17 percent who said it “would not make much difference.”

Newman: Mass-murderer Mao Used Critical Race Theory-Style Indoctrination, Too
In this interview with The New American magazine’s Senior Editor Alex Newman, Chinese immigrant to America and education activist Lily Tang-Williams warned that mass-murdering Communist dictator Mao Zedong used Critical Race Theory-style brainwashing of children to turn his victims against each other. This eventually helped facilitate the slaughter of tens of millions of innocent people, as those in the “Red Classes” turned violently against those in the “Black Classes” and unleashed a bloodbath. The eerie parallels with the racial indoctrination being imposed on American children must not be overlooked. America, Williams warned, is on the verge of disaster, and Americans must stop this now before the unthinkable happens.

Pearce: When Hitler Seduces Marx
Even in the wildest reaches of the imagination, I could not have foreseen that the Marxist would come to endorse the white supremacist view of history. It seemed inconceivable that Marx could be seduced by Hitler. And yet “critical race theory” is as obsessed with race as were the Nazis. According to the new generation of Marxists, the political struggle is not about class war but race war; it’s not about a struggle between the classes but a struggle between the races. Like the Nazis, the critical race theorists don’t believe that racism is a prejudice in individuals but is something determined by history. It is not something evil in the heart of men but something systemic in history itself. Since this is so, the solution is not teaching and preaching the love of neighbour but the destruction of the “system.” And since the “system” is history itself, the final solution is the cancelling of the past, the utter erasing of the collective cultural memory of the people.

Saavedra: Iranian State Television Claims Biden Admin Agreed To Unfreeze $7 Billion For Prisoner Swap. Biden Admin Claims It’s Not True.
The AP’s report added that even after the Biden administration denied the report coming out of Iran, Iranian state television doubled down on its claim that a deal had been reached.

Valentine: The COVID Passport: Fascism at Hand
Naomi Wolf is perfectly accurate warning that the COVID Passport is an unassuming, mild, reasonable-sounding concept that will lead to untold catastrophic civic consequences. She is way out front, and we should all pay attention to her. The COVID Passport is the doorway to fascism in your lifetime, on your doorstep, and there may be no turning back once it happens. Her thesis is this: . . . Remember the No Fly List? Sure, you do. My team built the technology to make it possible. Let’s take a little stroll through some basic data concepts, and you will get it, I promise. […] Think your Second Amendment is safe, even in a red state? Not after the COVID Passport. Welcome to those . . .

VDH: The Bleak Biden Way
After a hundred days of President Biden, I think most Americans are now on to what will follow in the next few years. Joyless Joe Biden frowns. He grimaces. He occasionally barks and yells as he delivers a gloomy view of America and its people, past and present. Admit it: We are all racists, then and now, captives of Jim Crow still. Biden needs as many fabricated enemies as he can find; otherwise, his speeches, his demeanor, his agenda are little more than absurdities. They cannot stand or fall on their own merits because they have none. So grumpy Biden, in his latest and final incarnation, is always anti-something, usually anti-Trump, anti-racism, and anti-everything traditional America is for. Lots of bad white people still need to be rooted out—outside of the beltway. These are the ones never woken by Wall Street, Silicon Valley, the media, academia, the corporate boardroom, professional sports, and the foundations. These retrograde deplorables apparently won’t give up their “privilege” without a fight.

War Room Pandemic: Expert Says Fauci Responsible for Hundreds of Thousands of American Deaths by Blocking Hydroxychloroquine
Dr. Steven Hatfill, infectious disease expert, says the medical bureaucracy blocked an effective treatment in hydroxychloroquine so they could push through experimental vaccines. Dr. Hatfill told War Room hydroxychloroquine is proven to be effective and costs roughly 60 cents per pill. However, the existence of a proven effective treatment would not have allowed Dr. Fauci and FDA’s Janet Woodcock to expedite covid vaccines. “You don’t need a vaccine,” Dr. Hatfill said.
