Did federal assets encourage any criminal behavior — as was the case in the Whitmer kidnapping case? Were CHSs paid by the FBI? Did they have a financial interest in an arrest? Were Mercurio’s threats and plans made before or after contact with agents or CHSs? Were any federal assets involved in the planning of his attack — as was the case in the Whitmer kidnapping plot? […] To be blunt, prosecutors in the Mercurio case need more than the “fidelity, bravery, and integrity” of federal agents upon which to base their case.

Lyman: RNC Removes ‘Bank Your Vote’ Website, Plans Overhaul Of Early Voting Initiative

RNC and Trump spokeswoman Danielle Alvarez told The Federalist that “the website is down for reconstruction as we refocus our operation on not only banking votes but growing votes.” Banking votes means encouraging voters to take advantage of opportunities to vote early, either via mail or in-person. The RNC told The Federalist that its new plan would include a vote-banking program in addition to a “Grow The Vote” initiative aimed at reaching nontraditional Republican voters. When The Federalist asked how this new program would conduct vote banking and what metrics it would use to target voters, Alvarez said the RNC has “paid staffers and volunteer-powered field programs in every battleground state and they are expanding daily” but did not provide numbers or specific details, expressing concern about giving away their plan. The RNC offered to follow up with more information but could not provide details by publication time.

Why does Biden play Iranian poker with American and Israeli lives? Answer? He envisions war sort of like affirmative action, in which the less accomplished belligerent is allowed all sorts of concessions for the sake of equity. Israeli and American military capability, and particularly their missile defenses, are seen as unfair, almost like high achievers’ top SAT scores that are seen as unearned and used to privilege some over others and therefore must be countered or dropped. Given Iran’s and its surrogates’ incompetence, the administration, then, must extend the theocracy some allowances “to level the playing field.” Biden believes in an equality of opportunity in war, when an aggressor does its best to attack or indeed destroy a defender, who in turn does its own best to retaliate and achieve victory.

This is, at best, naivete on a grand scale. But is there more to it?

Title IX stated, “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” By changing the terms of the law from “sex,” a category grounded in biology, nature, reality, to “gender identity,” a category grounded in mere will, the Biden Administration has indicated that they are waging a war on women that will wreck women’s sports and endanger women at every age. That it is also destructive to men and children is no consolation. That might sound strange to people who get their information from the so-called mainstream media sources whose “mainstream” label is accurate but often misunderstood: their task is to mainstream Democratic Party and leftist ideas. The Bank of America is being warned, in a letter from authorities in 15 states, to start treating customers fairly. Or face consequences. The issue is described in a letter, authored by Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach and joined by many others, to bank chief Brian Moynihan. It’s over the bank’s practice of “de-banking,” or simply shutting down the accounts and banking rights, of various people and groups with whom to bank disagrees. The letter, bearing the signatures of officers from Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Virginia, too, calls on Moynihan to deliver, within 30 days, . . .

Anderson: Former attorney general Eric Holder rallied behind Columbia University’s student protesters on Thursday as the New York Police Department swooped in and tried to clear the campus green of disruptive protesters acting in violation of university policy.

Sibarium: Starbucks Hired Eric Holder To Conduct a ‘Civil Rights Audit.’ The Policies He Blessed Got the Coffee Maker Sued.

Holder—who has charged as much as $2,295 an hour for such work—issued a final report in 2021 that outlined the steps Starbucks had taken to promote “equity.” They included tying executive pay to diversity targets, setting spending goals for “diverse suppliers,” and launching a mentorship program for “BIPOC” employees, which Holder pressed the company to expand. Each initiative, he wrote, demonstrated the coffee maker’s “commitment to civil rights and equal treatment.” But one year later, Starbucks was fending off a civil rights lawsuit over precisely the programs Holder had blessed. In Europe and UK, such areas are spreading rapidly due to massive immigration campaigns. The term “no go zone” has often been associated with people accused of spreading “right-wing” conspiracies. This is because government officials and their mainstream media apologists usually deny the existence of such areas.
