Idaho’s Defense of Life Act law, which went into effect in August 2022, prohibits abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or if a physician deems it necessary to save the mother’s life. The federal government, adamant about advancing President Joe Biden’s abortion agenda, sued Idaho over its popular life law. Over the last few months, Democratic governors in Arizona, North Carolina, and Wisconsin have vetoed legislation that Republican-led state legislatures passed to help secure elections, arguing that their concerns are unfounded or their solutions unnecessary. However, there has been recent election fraud investigations and convictions in those states that led to the passing of the legislation. Earlier this month, Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) vetoed bills that would respectively, prohibit people convicted of ballot abuse from holding elected office and prevent county recorders from sending voter registration cards to most residents who have out-of-state mailing addresses.

They are “working” for Hamas — and against their own interests — in the hope of seeing more hostages released. By their actions the value of the hostages only increases.
The demonstrators are doing what Hamas cannot do by itself: they are dividing Israel so that the unity government loses its strength in the negotiations, as well as any ability to bring the hostages home sooner — a triumph that was successfully accomplished by the IDF, left unfettered.
The hostages are not the Israeli government’s to deliver. They are unfortunately under the total the control of Hamas, Qatar and Iran –which is where the pressure should be applied, not on the government of Israel.
