Nancy Van Deest contributor to American Thinker: Our government, the health care industry, the fear-mongering press, and the vaccine-makers all contributed to my parents’ deaths, and no one can change my mind about that. Even worse, they denied my parents something we all desire: dignified deaths surrounded by loving family and friends. No one should be forced to die this way…particularly for political power.

Sundance contributor to The Last Refuge upon reading that Alameda County, California readjusted its COVID-19 deaths down by 25%: There are thousands of examples of manipulated COVID fatality records all over the world and specifically inside the U.S. In addition to their being a profound difference between dying *with* COVID as opposed to dying *from* COVID, there were/are a litany of incentives to mislabel and misidentify the cause of death within health records.

J.B. Shurk contributor to American Thinker: What was Paul Ryan’s biting critique of Donald Trump’s policies? He’s a dreaded “populist”! Oh, no! He may have been one of the most conservative American presidents in U.S. history, but he tweets his thoughts contemporaneously and refuses to act “presidentially.” His behavior is coarse, appealing to coarse in kind, and all that was too much for one Christian to bear. Forget about Trump’s substantive accomplishments; it’s his style over which we must obsess. And in Paul Ryan’s Republican Party, style wins over substance every time.

Bill Maher comedian and liberal talk show host says no to taxpayer funded free college: “Colleges have turned into giant luxury day care centers with overpaid babysitters anxious to indulge every student whim. In the immortal words of her [Laurie Laughlin’s] daughter, Olivia Jade, ‘I don’t know how much school I’m going to attend … but I do want the experience of like, game days and partying.’ Yeah, I’m not f*cking paying for that. “

Paul Bradford contributor to American Greatness: You’re only supposed to worry about white people with guns, even if black criminals with guns are a far greater threat to black lives.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-NM) in relaunching her bid for re-election: “I know it’s going to be loud, and I just have to say I’m sorry that we picked the same location that the QAnon lizard people meeting was at.”

Kaminsky: Trump Slams Democrats For Crime Surge: They ‘Hate Our Country’
Former President Donald Trump spoke at the North Carolina Republican Party State Convention on Saturday and ripped Democrats for policies leading to lawlessness and disorder. “As we gather tonight, our country is being destroyed before our very own eyes. Crime is exploding, police departments are being ripped apart and defunded,” the former president said. “Can you believe that? Defund? Is that good politics, defund our police? Number one, it’s bad for our country, but think of it, defund our police. You know, I’ve long said they’re vicious, they’re violent, they, in many cases, hate our country, and they have bad policy.”

Paul: Fauci’s wife needs an investigation, too
In a gushing portrait, Vogue portrayed Fauci and Grady as “a medical power couple leading the fight against the virus.” But taxpayers might not be so effusive about Mr. and Mrs. Fauci’s “international research ethics,” and “study design,” now that America’s economy and liberties have been destroyed by the Chinese virus they funded. Why was Grady ever placed in a position at the NIH, where she was the final arbiter of the ethics of her husband’s experiments? If Fauci wanted to study gain-of-function research on lethal viruses, did he just need to roll over in bed and say, “Honey, is this OK?” to obtain “ethical” permission?

Singman: Sen. Rick Scott rolls out legislation to prohibit TSA from requiring proof of COVID vaccines for travelers
The bill, the “Freedom to Fly Act,” would also prohibit TSA workers from requiring American travelers to produce a passport for domestic flight to protect the privacy of personal health information. Scott’s legislation says that the TSA “may not prescribe or implement any regulation or policy that would allow employees” to “request information relating to vaccinations from any passenger traveling on a flight between states or territories or possessions of the United States.”

Brown: Gov. Ron DeSantis Promises To Oppose Any FL School Board Candidates Who Support Critical Race Theory
During an interview that aired Saturday night on “Unfiltered with Dan Bongino,” DeSantis promised to aim his “political apparatus” against any Republican school board candidate who supports either critical race theory or mandatory masking for schoolchildren. “Next week, I have my Commissioner of Education going to the Board of Education banning it, banning any departure from accurate history and following our standards,” DeSantis told Bongino regarding critical race theory. “This is something we’ve got to stay on the forefront of.”

Greenfield: Bush I Foundation Took Millions From Pro-Communist Chinese Foundation
This news is especially timely on the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre. George H.W. Bush could have responded by dumping China’s Most Favored Nation trade status and cut off the monster’s head before it had devoured us whole. Instead, he kept things going. Communist China gutted our economy and society. Without those trade deals, we would likely not be in the mess that we are in. So the news is timely, but not especially surprising because what other possible function could the George H.W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations really have? Organizations for relations between the US and Country X largely exist to lobby for ties with that country. A lot of the time this is perfectly inoffensive, but it’s rather different when the ties are with our worst enemies.

Joe Manchin: Why I’m voting against the For the People Act
The right to vote is fundamental to our American democracy and protecting that right should not be about party or politics. Least of all, protecting this right, which is a value I share, should never be done in a partisan manner. Unfortunately, we now are witnessing that the fundamental right to vote has itself become overtly politicized. Today’s debate about how to best protect our right to vote and to hold elections, however, is not about finding common ground, but seeking partisan advantage. Whether it is state laws that seek to needlessly restrict voting or politicians who ignore the need to secure our elections, partisan policymaking won’t instill confidence in our democracy — it will destroy it. […] some Democrats have again proposed eliminating the Senate filibuster rule in order to pass the For the People Act with only Democratic support. They’ve attempted to demonize the filibuster and conveniently ignore how it has been critical to protecting the rights of Democrats in the past.

The Biden Administration told a federal court yesterday that it will no longer give preferential treatment to select racial groups when awarding relief under the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. It also told the court that it will work to undo any preferences that it illegally conferred on so-called “priority” racial group applicants during the first 21 days of the program. This is a major victory for equal rights under law and a repudiation of the odious and unconstitutional racial preferences that have consistently found their way into the Biden Administration’s COVID-relief efforts. […] AFL President Stephen Miller issued the following statement: “We are pleased that the Biden Administration has abandoned this unconstitutional and racially discriminatory scheme in response to our lawsuit. But we will never be satisfied until the Biden Administration . . .

DOJ Montana: Two More States Join AG Knudsen’s Keystone XL Lawsuit Against Biden Administration
Two more state attorneys general joined the lawsuit against President Joe Biden’s unconstitutional cancelation of the Keystone XL Pipeline, Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen announced today. The lawsuit, led by Montana and Texas, seeks to have portions of Executive Order 13990 cancelling KXPL’s cross-border permit declared unconstitutional and unlawful and seeks to prevent the Biden administration from taking any action to enforce the permit revocation. Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody and Alaska Attorney General Treg Taylor joined an amended complaint filed today in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. The total number of states represented in the suit against Biden and his administration now stands at 23. The Saskatchewan government also said it recently it would be filing an amicus brief in support of the states’ lawsuit.

Clark: Update: Oregon School Board Shoots Down BLM, Pride Flag Requirement, Progressive Board Member Goes On Tirade
On May 6, the Gresham-Barlow School Board updated the district’s “Flag Displays and Salutes” policy to require that the school board provide an American flag, pride flag, and BLM flag for each classroom. The policy gained virtually no support among board members. Just two of the board’s most progressive members voted in favor of the revised policy. Robyn Stowers, a school board member in favor of the flag policy, launched into a tirade about the alleged importance of the flags before the board took a vote.

Cleveland: Don’t Believe Leftist Lies About A Federal Judge’s End To California’s Gun Ban
Judge Roger Benitez’s opinion provides a perfect primer for Americans seeking to understand the law and the gun fallacies leftists push. On Friday, a federal judge struck down California’s assault weapon ban in Miller v. Bonta. In the nearly 100-page opinion, District Court Judge Roger Benitez dissected post-Heller Second Amendment jurisdiction, while scrutinizing the state’s claimed justification for banning ownership of so-called “assault weapons,” before enjoining enforcement of several sections of California’s Assault Weapons Control Act (AWCA). Yet for 30 days Judge Benitez also stayed the execution of the declaratory judgment and permanent injunction to allow the named defendant, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, to appeal. In striking down California’s “assault weapon” ban, which criminalizes the possession of various semi-automatic weapons based on their appearance, features, or ability to hold a magazine with more than 10 rounds of ammunition, Judge Benitez conducted a thorough review of controlling Second Amendment precedent and analyzed the hefty evidentiary record. He began with Heller, in which the Supreme Court noted the Second Amendment’s guarantee of the right to bear arms extends to firearms commonly owned by law-abiding citizens for lawful purposes, as opposed to weapons predominately used only in military settings. The Heller test, Judge Benitez noted, is a “hardware test,” but since Heller, the federal appellate courts have ignored this simple holding and created an array of various standards under which to judge the constitutionality of laws regulating firearms. Before applying the two-prong test the Ninth Circuit invented, though, Judge Benitez laid out how California’s law would fare under a straightforward application of Heller. In the process, he revealed some statistics of which most Americans are likely ignorant.

Vought: Opinion: Calling foul on the Alexandria Little League’s seminar on race
Next year, our nation will celebrate 75 years since Jackie Robinson broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier. But three-quarters of a century after Robinson helped sports transcend racism, a new group of activists wants to ensure that future generations of ballplayers remain fixated on race.
As a Virginia resident and parent of two young children, I find attempts to indoctrinate Little League coaches on critical race theory not only troubling but also extremely harmful. The news that the Alexandria Little League instructed coaches to cancel practice May 24 for a seminar on “equity” and “inclusion” held by the Positive Coaching Alliance raised questions on several levels. For starters, . . .

Downs: Dr. Anthony Fauci Tied to Scandal Involving Human-Animal Hybrid Experiments with Aborted Fetal Parts
On the issue of “Rats with the Scalps of Unborn Babies,” Hawkins said: Students for Life is calling for [Fauci’s] resignation or firing. A new video from the Center for Medical Progress detailed research in which infant remains are harvested from abortions at a Planned Parenthood. This happened at taxpayer expense, through funding from Fauci’s NIAID office at the National Institutes of Health. The Stream interview also included excerpts from testimony David Daleiden, the founder of the CMP, from May 4, before a Pennsylvania Health Committee. Emphasis is original: It’s a matter of public record that there are horrific abuses of aborted infants taking place [in] PA through the extensive fetal experimentation programs at the taxpayer-funded University of Pittsburgh. In a recent study, . . . […] It’s also worth wondering why such experiments are being conducted at all. The Stream references opposition from pro-life senators following the issue, in the form of a press release from the office of Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), joined by Sens. Steve Daines (R-MT) and Mike Braun (R-IN). The press release laid out an amendment by the senators to put an end to animal-human experiments. From the release: . . .

Fordham: China plans to build more bio labs amid scrutiny in Wuhan
China is planning to build dozens of biosafety level three labs and one biosafety level four lab over the next five years as investigators take another look at the possibility that the coronavirus could have leaked out of a laboratory in Wuhan, China. China’s Guangdong province plans to create 25 to 30 biosafety level three labs and one biosafety level four lab, the Financial Times reported.

Bannons War room: Dr. Sellin Reveals How China’s PLA Developed Covid Bioweapon With ‘Useful Idiots’ in U.S.
Funny thing about the COVID pandemic. For so long, we knew very little. Now we know an awful lot. It’s now clear that in the earliest days of the coronavirus pandemic, public health officials in Washington were panicked. At the time, it wasn’t clear what the mortality rate from the virus would turn out to be. But that wasn’t their main concern. Officials in Washington were terrified for themselves. They were afraid of being exposed. They’d used American tax dollars to fund reckless experiments in China that in the end likely created COVID-19. If that fact were to become public, it would be over. They’d be shamed and ridiculed and possibly even indicted. Their professional lives would be done. So they immediately set to work hiding it in a cover-up. Last winter, a group of well-known scientists publicly dismissed the lab leak theory in a letter to The Lancet as absurd and categorically untrue, and yet at the same time, they wrote emails to each other admitting that the virus looked engineered, by human hand, in a lab.

D’Abrosca: A Serious Country Would Jail Anthony Fauci
A false narrative was carefully crafted by the press to humanize a man who was, at the time, committing crimes against humanity for the apparent purpose of helping Democrats win an election.

Revolver: With Trump Gone, Liberals Now Scrambling Like Rats to Put Their “Crime Surge” Genie Back in the Bottle
A year after streets echoed with calls to “defund” law enforcement and city leaders embraced the message by agreeing to take $150 million away from the Los Angeles Police Department, or about 8 percent of the department’s budget, the city last week agreed to increase the police budget to allow the department to hire about 250 officers. The increase essentially restores the cuts that followed the protests. [NY Times] It turns out, stopping crime once it has been unleashed is tougher than it looks. For cynical and malicious political reasons, America’s corrupt ruling class launched the worst crime surge in American history. Now, their own incompetence means they are incapable of stopping the monster they have created. In this way, the Crime Explosion of 2020 is much like the Mask Mania of 2020. Both were created by elites for short-term political goals, both were sustained by lies and delusions, and now the impact of both will persist long after their original purpose has expired. Throughout 2020, the Globalist American Empire pushed a double-barreled political strategy: . . .

Lindquist: Lecturer At Official Yale Event Fantasizes About Brutally Murdering White People, Claims All White People Are Rotten
In an official lecture called “The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind,” given by Aruna Khilanani at the Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Child Study Center, Khilanani graphically described her fantasy about killing and burying white people, saying, “I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the heads of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a fucking favor.” […] The audio, which can be found here, includes a number of racially charged remarks directed at white people, including, . . . […] Khilanani’s animus against white people extends into her personal life, as she noted that she had made it her goal to “cut out everything white,” describing her motivation behind cutting off white friends and leaving institutions she considered too white.

Revolver Investigation, Part Three: Exposing the Media’s Plot to Hide Record Vaccine Deaths and Deceive Americans
Reader’s Note: This is Part Two of a three part series. If you haven’t done so, please read Part One here and Part Two here. In just five and a half months, the VAERS system has already processed more reports of Americans dying after taking a COVID-19 vaccine than it has for all the other 56 available vaccines combined over a 28 year timespan. Reports of uncomfortably close calls with death are also flooding the system. […] According to the CDC’s latest estimates, COVID-19’s survival rate is: Ages 0–19: 99.998% Ages 18–49: 99.95% Ages 50–64: 99.4% Ages 65 + : 91% But don’t think the folks at the CDC are lazy. No siree bob. If you’re a relatively young person (under 50) they’ve put in a fair bit of work to make sure you won’t learn that you chance of dying from Covid is infinitesimally small. Conversely, the very same authorities have invested tremendous energy into encouraging this very same demographic of young people to take the Covid jab. […] We now turn briefly to what might be the most destructive dimension of the Covid deception, the lockdowns.
