Daily News Roundup
Judi McLeod contributor to Canada Free Press: Even as President Donald Trump was addressing supporters from CPAC in Texas, Fox News was ‘editing’ his words by replacing their chyron with a disclaimer—as he was speaking.
Laura Ingraham host of Ingraham Angle on Fox: “It’s often said that ‘the children are our future,’ and of course that’s exactly why the left wants to take them from parents who don’t buy into their twisted agenda.”
An unnamed lieutenant currently on active duty: “We care more about whether we have enough diversity officers than if we’ll survive a fight with the Chinese Navy. It’s criminal. They think my only value is as a black woman. But you cut our ship open with a missile and we’ll all bleed the same color.”
President Joe Biden derides voter integrity election laws: “We’ll be asking my Republican friends in Congress, in the states and cities and counties, to stand up, for God’s sake, and help prevent this concerted effort to undermine our election and the sacred right to vote. Have you no shame?”
Dan Gelernter contributor to American Greatness: So here’s a question: If you arrive at the home of a relatively elderly person whom you know will not resist arrest, and you kick down his door and toss in a flashbang grenade, storm all over the property with rifles at the ready, make a big show of arresting the person and then ransack the house, what was your purpose? It wasn’t simply to make a safe arrest and gather evidence: It would have been much safer for all parties concerned to ask the person to turn himself in to the local police. On what basis was this arrest deemed worthy of a SWAT team? The FBI is doing it the dangerous way—with guns and noise and violence—because they want to send a message. They want to instill terror both in the people they arrest and in every one of us who is watching. You might call it “domestic terrorism.”
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, when at the same time throwing open the southern border, warns Cubans and Haitians, fearing persecution or torture: “The time is never right to attempt migration by sea. To those who risk their lives doing so, this risk is not worth taking. Allow me to be clear: If you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States.”
Former Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) accepts President Biden’s nomination to be his ambassador to Turkey: “Given the strategic importance of the United States’ relationship with our long-time NATO Ally, the Republic of Turkey, I am honored and humbled by the trust President Biden has placed in me with this ambassadorial nomination.”
Ray DiLorenzo contributor to Canada Free Press: People will ask… How will they steal my property? They won’t. They will pass regulations and legislation making it impossible for you to keep your homes… higher property taxes, energy costs, new and existing structure regulations that will be financially prohibitive, etc. Suppose your gas or credit cards don’t work anymore? How can they end my privacy? If there is no more cash, they is no more privacy. All transactions will be monitored. If there is resistance, there is always the military, currently being vetted to remove all patriots.
Lara Logan Fox Nation host: “When you hear smart in front of anything, it doesn’t mean you. It means your dishwasher is no longer just for washing dishes. It’s also for spying.”
Lake County Illinois’ Door Knocking Project to Increase COVID Vaccine Acceptance published April 6, 2021: You are not soliciting. Because you are not seeking an order for any goods or services, you are not considered a solicitor. Therefore, “No Solicitation” signs do not apply to you while you are performing this activity. Always be respectful of the residents you interact with and if asked to leave, you must do so. “No Trespassing” signs still apply and must be complied with.
Jim Geraghty contributor to National Review: You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. You can make the vaccine available to people anywhere and everywhere, but you cannot make them let themselves be injected with it. As much as we want to protect ourselves from this virus, I think we all recognize the uncomfortable implications and consequences of vaccinating American citizens against their will. No matter how strongly you feel refusing the vaccine represents the wrong choice, people have to be free to make the wrong choice.
Justine Coleman contributor to The Hill: “Tennessee is on solid footing when it comes to childhood immunizations and will continue to keep information and programming in place for parents,” the statement continued. “We are simply mindful of how certain tactics could hurt that progress.” TDH spokeswoman Sarah Tanksley confirmed to the Tennessean that COVID-19 vaccination events at schools were ending partly due to low demand and “out of an abundance of caution” because they were “perceived by some to give the wrong impression regarding parental consent.”
BEHIND THE DEEP STATE
Sundance: Twelve FBI Operatives Involved in Gretchen Whitmer Kidnapping Plot That Ended With Six Arrests
Well, as the vast Michigan kidnap conspiracy now reaches court with six indicted co-conspirators, today we discover there were twelve FBI operatives, apparently ‘informants‘ is the new lingo for paid FBI enlisted civilians (pay attention Patrick Byrne, I digress), working inside the group on the plot. […] Yes, you read that correctly, 12 FBI ‘informants‘ amid a group that had six arrests. Put another way twice as many FBI operatives as there were Acme militia plotters.

THE WAR ON AMERICA’S CHILDREN
Delaney: Laura Ingraham: Parental rights under assault with vaccine coercion, sexual enticement and CRT
In a recent monologue on the Ingraham Angle, hostess Laura Ingraham highlighted the left’s contemporary assault upon parental rights with regards to recklessly injecting children with experimental mRNA COVID-19 gene-therapy vaccines without parental consent, indoctrinating children with a dark “anti-Americanism,” and encouraging them to engage in sexual activity beginning in fifth grade. “Hide your kids,” announced the Fox News host last Friday night. “It’s often said that ‘the children are our future,’ and of course that’s exactly why the left wants to take them from parents who don’t buy into their twisted agenda.” On many fronts, Ingraham warned, “forces are working overtime to undermine parental rights,” and the Christian moral framework that affirms them. “From teachers’ unions to gender activists to Biden’s vaccine pushers, we’re seeing a concerted effort, backed by some of the biggest financial interests out there, to indoctrinate our children into a dark mindset of anti-Americanism.”

Hope: Don’t fall into the nuclear family ‘parent trap’: What kids need most is love
Food in their belly. A roof over their head. A reassuring hug after a tough day. An ear to listen to the latest thing that so-and-so said to so-and-so about such-and-such. These are the things our children need to thrive. What doesn’t matter is the gender of the parent — or how many there are, for that matter.
“Some children have two mothers. Some children bunk with their cousins. So no matter whether you have a ma, a pa, a hog or this llama. … If you love each other then you are a family,” reads Suzanne Lang’s fun children’s book, “All Kinds of Families.”

Richardson: Texas House votes to approve arrest warrants for wayward Democrats
The Texas House voted Tuesday to send law enforcement to bring back Democratic legislators who fled the state on chartered jets to block a vote on a GOP elections bill in a political showdown playing out on the national stage. The 76-4 vote to compel attendance “under warrant of arrest, if necessary” was held shortly after about 60 Democrats failed to appear at the 10 a.m. session, leaving the Republican-controlled chamber short of a quorum with just 80 members, only four of whom were Democrats.

Blake Masters, the 34-year-old chief operating officer at investment firm Thiel Capital and a former protege of the billionaire at Stanford, announced Monday that he is running as a Republican to unseat Arizona Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly in 2022. In his campaign launch, Masters pledged to “completely end illegal immigration” and fight “indoctrination” in the school system.

AN AMERICA IN DECLINE
DiLorenzo: The End of America?
So-called political analysts, who can’t seem to correctly analyze anything, constantly ask why our country is going through such turmoil. They describe what they see, but can’t or won’t answer the question ‘why?’ It started with Agenda 21 Why is it only 36% of the young between the ages of 18-24 are proud to be an American? Almost the same figure for UK youth. Why is our culture and patriotism being attacked by our very own? Even Captain America has turned his back on his country. Why is Bill Gates buying so much farmland? Why are so many politicians willing to turn our country completely upside down to solve a questionable climate problem when our technology has not caught up with their demands? Why did COVID-19 arrive when it did…immediately after the failed Trump impeachment, just in time for the 2020 election as the excuse to allow dubious changes to election law? Why is an unproven, non-FDA approved vaccine being pushed so hard for a highly treatable disease that is 99.8% recoverable? Why . . . […] Why is it so many people have never heard of Agenda 21, Agenda 2030 or The Great Reset when it is all in plain sight? Our country and the world have been groomed for decades for this time in history. […] Agenda 2030, a supplement to Agenda 21, with the entirety called The Great Reset, adopted by the UN in 2015, is a 15 year plan . . . […] Agenda 2030 will be a continuation of the control we have seen in the past 18 months, but greatly expanded. Besides being a bioterrorist attack, COVID-19 was a diversion and an experiment in population control. […] How will they get local government and the people to go along with Agenda 2030? […] Everything pertaining to The Great Reset in this article can be verified on the UN website as well as many others.

CHINA: AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY
Ledeen: China Threatens Nuclear War if U.S. Continues Investigating COVID-19 Origins
The Chinese are warning about an impending nuclear war if the United States does not cease its investigation into the origins of the COVID pandemic. They warn that the Americans must call off their probe into the sources of the disease — a warning which has prompted many American analysts to conclude that the leaders in Beijing fear discovery of the truth: that they — the Chinese Communists — are the source of the pandemic. The Chinese Communists have long experimented with bioweapons, and have apparently continued the nasty habit, both recruiting Western scientists and putting them to work on Chinese projects, and smuggling Westerners into projects within China itself. One of the world’s top China experts, British citizen Roger Garside, foresees a mounting crisis, since Beijing will have to confront a triple whammy: a financial crisis, a moral vacuum, and widespread corruption. In an interview he gave recently about his new book, Garside summarized the situation grimly: China is outwardly strong but inwardly weak.

Koberg: White hat hacker sounds the alarm on China’s infiltration of American tech
Trusting our electronic devices, even though we know they are collecting our data, has become the “joke we’re all in on,” according to Lara Logan in her most recent season of “Lara Logan Has No Agenda” on Fox Nation. But this mass harvesting of data could turn out to be much more dangerous than we think.
Logan sat down with a white hat hacker, who spoke anonymously to discuss how the government and private companies and adversaries around the world are collecting and using data and the dire consequences this could have for individuals and the nation. “To us, it’s just information. But it’s used as intelligence,” Logan said. “Ask any spy. We think this is a phone. That’s what we were sold. But it’s really a surveillance device that makes calls.” […] Logan asked how many countries the United States is at “war [with] right now in a silent war.” “I would say five main ones, and then probably 10 overall,” the white hat hacker responded. “China’s the biggest threat, no matter what.”

Coughlin: Afghan Withdrawal Opens the Way for China
The indecent haste with which the Biden administration has undertaken its military withdrawal from Afghanistan not only raises the prospect of handing control of the country over to the hardline Islamist Taliban movement. It also presents China with a golden opportunity to extend its influence over this strategically important Central Asian country. China, which shares a tiny 47-mile-long border with Afghanistan, has long coveted developing closer ties with Kabul, not least because of the large, untapped reserves of mineral wealth that Afghanistan possesses. Rich in copper, lithium, marble, gold and uranium, Afghanistan’s mineral wealth has been estimated to exceed in excess of $1 trillion, resources that could easily make the country economically self-sufficient if ever they were to be fully developed. From China’s perspective, access to Afghanistan’s mineral riches would provide it with a ready supply of valuable minerals that are deemed vital to the ruling Communist party’s long-term aim of becoming the world’s pre-eminent economic power.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING AMERICA
AP: Senate Dems go it alone: Chuck Schumer and Bernie Sanders reach $3.5T infrastructure bill deal and greenlight reconciliation to bypass GOP filibuster despite fears it will fuel rampant inflation
The plan is far less than the $6trillion that Democrats initially wanted, but it did not have the support of moderate centrists in the caucus. The $3.5trillion plan includes spending for climate change, health care and family-service programs sought by President Joe Biden. Democrats will seek to bypass a Republican filibuster by winning passage through budget reconciliation. Reconciliation only requires a simple majority in the Senate. With the upper chamber at a 50-50 tie between Republicans and Democrats, Vice President Kamala Harris can cast the tie-breaking vote. […] If congressional Democrats rally behind the proposal and turn it into a budget resolution they can push through Congress in coming weeks, it would help them enact a subsequent, sweeping bill that would actually fund their priorities.

Carney: Producer Price Inflation Surges 7.3%, Higher Than Expected
Prices received by U.S. businesses for goods and services rose by much more than expected in June, the Labor Department reported Tuesday. The Producer Price Index rose 7.3 percent in June from 12 months earlier, the largest demand since 12-month data were first introduced in 2010. Compared with May, the index rose one percent. On average, this index rose by around 0.2 percent per month in the pre-pandemic Trump administration.Economists had been expecting an increase of 0.6 percent, below the 0.8 percent initially reported for May. On a 12-month basis, the consensus forecast was for 6.8 percent.
[…] Prices for gasoline, meats, electric power, processed poultry, and motor vehicles all moved higher in June. Prices of industrial chemicals jumped 4.5 percent in the month. Sporting and athletic goods jumped 3 percent for the month.

Mirengoff: JOE BIDEN, SHAMELESS LIAR
In an impassioned speech today (or what passes for one in his current condition), Joe Biden claimed that the voting laws being passed and/or considered by some Republican controlled state legislatures such as Georgia’s pose “the most dangerous threat to voting and the integrity of free and fair elections in our history.” This claim isn’t just false, it’s absurd. Biden doesn’t know much about history, but he’s surely aware that there was a time in the last century when Blacks in some states had to answer difficult questions to the satisfaction of racist local officials to be able to vote. And even if they passed these tests, they might be shot at or even killed for exercising their right to vote. (All of this and more is set forth in excruciating detail by Robert Caro in his biography of Lyndon Johnson.) Now, all Blacks have to do is prove they are who they say they are — same as Whites and everyone else. More than 80 percent of Americans support this common sense requirement. More than 60 percent of Democrats do. (The numbers are 75 and 60 percent in a different poll.) Moreover, 69 percent of Blacks support voter id laws.

THE CORRUPT & DANGEROUS DEMOCRAT PARTY MEDIA INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX
Goldstein: Big Tech are State Actors
A ‘state actor’ is a private company that either acts on behalf of the government or has other special relationships with the government, which subject it to constitutional restrictions on government, including the First Amendment. Google’s YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter have been state actors since about 2010. They claimed to be neutral, non-discriminating in their political and scientific views, and denied any political bias—until about a year ago. Then they reversed the narrative and said that they are private companies that can discriminate against whomever they want. I can list half a dozen ways in which they are state actors. The pressure on them from Democrat officials, asserted by Trump in his lawsuit, is one of them. Obamanet, or net neutrality, is another one. But most obviously, they became state actors when federal and state government agencies opened accounts on their platforms and started to use them for interaction with the public. By accepting (and luring) multiple government accounts, they became public forums and state actors. A few days ago, the Supreme Court refused to review the ruling in Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University v. Trump, No. 18-1691 (2d Cir. 2019). In it, the district court ruled, and the 2nd Circuit Appellate Court upheld, that each tweet from a government account opens a public forum, and the government cannot block citizens from participating in it. Most of the legal wrangling was over whether the @realDonaldTrump account was a governmental one for the purposes of the First Amendment. It was despite being hosted on a putatively private platform. The state actor doctrine expresses . . .
