President Biden on Tuesday: “If we end up in a war, a real shooting war, with a major power, it’s going to be as a consequence of a cyber breach.”

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in her opening statement at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) January 6 Capitol hearing: The question for every one of us who serves in Congress, for every elected official across this great nation, indeed, for every American is this: Will we adhere to the rule of law? Will we respect the rulings of our courts? Will we preserve the peaceful transition of power? Or will we be so blinded by partisanship that we throw away the miracle of America? Do we hate our political adversaries more than we love our country and revere our Constitution? I pray that that is not the case.

Breaking 911 tweet of Officer Harry Dunn’s January 6 hearing testimony: “If a hitman is hired and he kills somebody, the hitman goes to jail. But not only does the hitman go to jail, but the person who hired them does. There was an attack carried out on January 6, and a hitman sent them. I want you to get to the bottom of that.”

Molly Hemingway Senior Editor The Federalist tweeted: Teary Capitol Police Officer Who Testified About Jan. 6 Previously Defended Violent Leftist Riots

Julie Kelly contributor to American Greatness: It took less than five years from the time the Justice Department told a secret court that Carter Page was a foreign agent to the Justice Department telling a federal judge that a working-class Trump supporter from Florida is a domestic terrorist.

Adam Mill contributor to American Greatness questions FBI involvement in Governor Whitmer’s abduction plot: Last week, BuzzFeed published an article that completely changes what we know about the plot. Previously, we were led to believe that the FBI “disrupted” the plot. But according to BuzzFeed, the FBI had more actors in the conspiracy than actual arrestees—there were 12 “informants” for the six arrested suspects. Why would it take 12 “informants,” to gather information on six people? Students of the FBI knew exactly what this meant: A “Truman Show”-style operation in which the FBI stages almost every aspect of a conspiracy to entice suspects into committing an arrestable crime.

Sundance: President Trump Releases Statement on New COVID Compliance Dictates: “We Won’t Go Back”
President Trump has released a statement as federal, state and municipal dictators attempt to force vaccinations and mask wearing as part of their new COVID compliance dictates. As noted by President Trump, “We won’t go back“… […] Indeed, this is the hill to die on. If not here, then where?
We The People are the super-majority, often the silent majority; but we are the majority. We are the productive, taxpaying, hard-working members of society that ask nothing more than to be left alone from the overbearing influence of government in our lives. Enough is enough. We are not going to go backwards in fear of a virus that has over a 99% survival rate.

Joondeph, M.D.: Served Its Purpose? CDC and FDA Recall Faulty COVID Test
Last week, big media was salivating over the COVID Delta variant and recommendations for indoor masking, even for the vaccinated, masking young children, and the possibility of a return to last year, with social distancing, capacity limits, and business closures. There were also news stories that the media dutifully ignored, like ongoing election audits, Hunter Biden’s laptop, his father’s growing inability to think and speak coherently, and growing inflation and unemployment. Also somehow missed by the investigative sleuths at CNN and MSNBC was the recall of a COVID rapid antigen test last month. This wasn’t just any recall but according to the FDA a serious one, “The FDA has identified this as a Class I recall, the most serious type of recall. Use of these devices may cause serious injuries or death.” That’s an understatement.

Sundance: The Intelligence Branch and Big Tech Say The Quiet Part Out Loud – Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, Google and Big Tech Writ Large Will Monitor Platforms and Report Extremist Content to FIVE EYES Intelligence Network
This is a rather bold public admission. They are saying the quiet part out loud and absolutely confirming what we have been writing about in our Fourth Branch of Government series. Remember, the Fourth Branch is only possible because of a Public-Private partnership with the intelligence apparatus. Today, the biggest names in Big Tech announce they have partnered with the Five Eyes intelligence network, ultimately controlled by the NSA, to: (1) . . . (2) . . .(3) . . .(4) . . . […] Facebook, Twitter, Google and Microsoft are all partnering with the intelligence apparatus. I can’t believe they admit this sentence in the release (emphasis mine): […] “The Group will use lists from intelligence-sharing group Five Eyes adding URLs and PDFs from more groups, including the Proud Boys, the Three Percenters and neo-Nazis.” Think about that sentence structure very carefully. They are “adding to” the pre-existing list…. admitting the group (aka Big Tech) already have access to the the intelligence-sharing database… and also admitting there is a pre-existing list created by the Five Eyes consortium.

Burroughs: Liz Cheney Kicks Off Jan. 6 Hearing with Veiled Threat to Subpoena Trump
“The American people deserve the full and open testimony of every person with knowledge of the planning and preparation for Jan. 6. … We must also know what happened every minute of that day in the White House — every phone call, every conversation, every meeting leading up to, during and after the attack. Honorable men and women have an obligation to step forward,” Cheney said, according to The Hill. […] “We must overcome the many efforts we are already seeing to cover up and obscure the facts,” she added. Earlier in the day, Cheney told ABC’s “Good Morning America” that Trump and his allies could be the subject of subpoenas, according to Axios.

Sundance: J6 Committee Hearing Has The Same Lawfare Producers, Directors and Script Writers as Christine Blasey Ford “Beach Friend” Hearing
Sometimes pictures are worth thousands of words. Seeing former DOJ official David Laufman show up at Nancy Pelosi’s J6 Committee hearing explains the pantomime. David Laufman is seen below sitting behind committee witness Michael Fanone. Laufman was the DOJ-NSD official who interviewed Hillary Clinton during the fraudulent FBI Clinton email investigation of 2016; Laufman quit the DOJ and started working for Lawfare. Laufman then represented Monica McLean, the best FBI friend of Christine Blasey Ford who helped write the letter to Dianne Feinstein during their effort to block Justice Kavanaugh for SCOTUS Judge.

Masugi: Do Conservatives Own the Supreme Court?
A leading opinion celebrated in conservative circles is that conservatives now own the Supreme Court. But it seems premature to celebrate. David Rivkin and Andrew Grossman recently summed up their case for an existing conservative Supreme Court majority with honor and praise going to the “conservative legal movement that produced the court’s majority.” Unfortunately, their arguments may deceive readers about what has actually been achieved in the high court and why it will prove wanting. Despite its fundamental flaws, the essay should be taken with utmost seriousness, for Rivkin, the senior writer, has been for decades one of the most insightful observers of the court. Politically, however, Rivkin and Grossman (as well as conservative jurists) are at a disadvantage if they attempt to fight contemporary judicial wars with mid-20th century legal weapons. I speak here of notions such as a “jurisprudence of restraint” and opposition to “judicial activism.” […] None od the devices Rivkin praises are of much use in a culture that sees law as simply an expression of power and judging as an exercise in power.

Sadler: AZ school district issues, then retracts consent form to quiz kids about private family info
An Arizona school district is backtracking after raising the ire of parents with controversial language in a parental consent form authorizing student health screenings. The district says the wording was “a complete mistake.” In a notification requesting parental sign-off for student emotional health and wellness screenings, the Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) appeared to suggest it would ask children to reveal private family information including “quality of home and interpersonal relationships, student biometric information,” and the family’s “gun/ammunition ownership.” […] Parents who signed the annual verification packet were, according to the notification, granting SUSD permission “to collect personal information including but not limited to income or other family information, medical history or medical information, mental health history or mental health information, and quality of home and interpersonal relationships, student biometric information, or illegal, antisocial, or self-incriminating behavior critical appraisal of individuals within a close relationship and gun/ammunition ownership.”

Neill: China’s Weaponized Fishing Fleet
Japan started recording derelict North Korean fishing vessels washing ashore in 2011, according to reporting by CNN’s Hilary Whiteman and Mairi Mackay. Since then, 63 on average of the “ghost ships” have annually come ashore. Most are empty, but some contain dead bodies and occasionally a skeletal crew. Generally, the ships are old, underpowered, and lacking GPS. Initially, authorities assumed the vessels belonged to crews who were trying to defect from North Korea. Or “climate change” had caused the squids to move away from North Korean shores forcing the fishermen to travel dangerously far out to sea, where they died from exposure. But by using satellite data, a team of researchers from the conservation group Global Fishing Watch pieced together the most likely explanation, as reported in last year’s NBC article “Ghost Ships“: China is sending a previously invisible armada of industrial boats to illegally fish in North Korean waters, violently displacing smaller North Korean boats and spearheading a decline in once-abundant squid stocks of more than 70 percent. In March 2020, the United Nations received anonymous reports . . .[…] The reported number of incidents of illegal fishing by Chinese ships has skyrocketed. Especially disturbing were the 340 Chinese vessels fishing near the environmentally fragile Galápagos Islands. Blake Herzinger reported for Foreign Policy about the Chinese fishing practices: . . . […] Chinese fishing vessels are an extension of geopolitical power for China, and according to the Maritime Awareness Project, many of the “fishermen” are members of the Chinese Maritime Militia: . . .

Greenfield: ‘Woke’ Military “Failed Miserably” in Wargame for Taiwan
A brutal loss in a wargaming exercise last October convinced the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. John Hyten to scrap the joint warfighting concept that had guided U.S. military operations for decades. “Without overstating the issue, it failed miserably. An aggressive red team that had been studying the United States for the last 20 years just ran rings around us. They knew exactly what we’re going to do before we did it,” Hyten told an audience Monday at the launch of the Emerging Technologies Institute, an effort by the National Defense Industrial Association industry group to speed military modernization.

Kimball: Losing Our Liberty All at Once?
Friedrich Hayek took one of the two epigraphs for The Road to Serfdom from David Hume (the other, like Hayek’s title, came from Tocqueville). “It is seldom,” Hume wrote, “that liberty of any kind is lost all at once.” Much as I admire Hume, I wonder whether he got this quite right. Sometimes, I would argue, liberty is erased almost instantaneously. I’d be willing to wager that Joseph Hackett, confronted with Hume’s observation, would express similar doubts. I would be happy to ask Hackett myself, but he is inaccessible. If the ironically titled “Department of Justice” has its way, he will be inaccessible for a long, long time. Perhaps as long as 20 years. Joseph Hackett, you see, is a 51-year-old Trump supporter and member of an organization called the “Oath Keepers,” a group whose members have pledged to “defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.” (You can see how this ends already, can’t you?) The FBI does not like the Oath Keepers. They arrested its leader in January and have picked up many other members in the months since. Hackett came from his home in Florida to join the Trump “Stop the Steal” rally that took place on January 6. According to court documents, he entered the Capitol at 2:45 that afternoon. He left some ten minutes later, at 2:54. The next day, he went home. On May 28, he was apprehended by the FBI and indicted on a long list of charges, including conspiracy, obstruction of an official proceeding, destruction of government property, and illegally entering a restricted building.

Sundance: Paypal Partners With Anti-Defamation League to Block Financial Transactions for Extremists and Hate Movements
According to a news release this morning, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has joined with PayPal on a research partnership to monitor how extremists use financial platforms to fund criminal activity. According to the release, the partnership will focus on “uncovering and disrupting the financial pipelines that support extremist and hate movements” by targeting “actors and networks spreading and profiting from all forms of hate and bigotry.” Their findings will be “shared broadly across the financial industry and with policymakers and law enforcement.” (read full press release here) Earlier today it was announced that Big Tech will monitor the internet, create a database of . . .

LifeSite News Staff: 47 studies confirm ineffectiveness of masks for COVID and 32 more confirm their negative health effects
. . . the list below of 47 studies confirming that masks are useless in preventing Covid infection and transmission and a second list further down of 32 studies confirming the negative health effects caused by frequent mask wearing, especially for young children. This has been a growing, serious concern in recent months as the dangerous health and emotional effects, especially on children, who are at almost zero risk of Covid harm, are becoming more pronounced and deeply worrisome.
