Brandon J. Weichert contributing editor at American Greatness: America is vulnerable. An al-Qaeda dirty bomb attack may be coming sooner than we realize.

Robert Arvay contributor to American Thinker: The next Pearl Harbor is all but inevitable. That is because dictators, after consuming the wealth of their own nations, always invade their neighbors, just as Russia has invaded Ukraine, and as China is poised to conquer Taiwan. In response, the United States has always produced competent, patriotic statesmen to lead our defense against them — indeed, to counter-attack and defeat those who would conquer us. Are there any such men now, when we need them perhaps more than ever? Have they the courage to challenge the dark state? If so, then where are they?

Bruce Bower contributor to Frontpage magazine: Projecting a picture: that’s what it’s all about under Joe Biden. It’s about denying the reality on the ground of a country that, during the past couple of years, has been torn apart by Antifa and BLM riots, flooded with immigrants, filled with urban encampments of mentally ill homeless people, ravaged in a plethora of ways by irrational COVID restrictions, beset by unprecedented rates of looting and other violent crimes, and economically weakened by sky-high inflation. And it’s about  pretending that America’s real problems, its most critical challenges, are systemic racism, transphobia, a climate crisis, and other such abstract nonsense. And it’s about insisting, over and over again, that Donald Trump and his loyal supporters are so evil and dangerous – such a threat to “our democracy” – that the only way to save “our democracy” from these parlous, knuckle-dragging authoritarians may well be to eradicate democracy, or at least put it on hold until these deplorables can be removed from the scene.

Theodore Roosevelt Malloch contributor to American Greatness: Unfortunately, I don’t see any Great Awakening in 2023, even if it is sorely needed. 2023 will be a lot like Hell or one of the lower levels on Dante’s ladder.

Senator Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY): “I’m pulling for Kevin. I hope he makes it.”

Sam Faddis editor of AND Magazine: And, now we have entered a new phase of this war on family and society. Now we have begun the assault on the most basic building blocks of all. Gender is a social construct. Men and women do not really exist. You are assigned a sex at birth by someone acting in accordance with the outdated concepts of the racist, patriarchal, colonial settler society in which we live. Be a man today. Be a woman tomorrow. It does not matter. In any event, it is no longer parents who decide what their children do or think or learn anyway. The state does all that now. A teacher will decide what your child knows about right and wrong and sex and morality. That same teacher will decide when Johnny becomes Susie and what parts of his or her anatomy are amputated, altered, or surgically enhanced.

Jeff Lukens contributor to American Thinker: Churches have remained publicly quiet for decades on the moral issues of the day so as not to appear too controversial or too political. As a result, public debate is often left to those without a biblical worldview. The consequences of this passivity have contributed to the unraveling of American civil society. It is well past time to end the silence.

Eileen F. Toplansky contributor to American Thinker: Never in the history of America has such an aggressive front towards the establishment of a Marxist Communist country been mounted. Until now.

Heather Mac Donald in her speech at the 2022 Encounter Books December gala: Getting beaten up by leftist activists or losing your livelihood to vandalism is not a “harm,” to borrow a phrase, that today’s academic left recognizes.

David Deavel contributor to The Imaginative Conservative: Stanford University IT department’s “Elimination of Harmful Words Initiative” document was released recently, with its list of harmful words, suggested alternatives, and explanations for why the forbidden words are so bad. But what is truly harmful is giving fools and knaves the power to tell us how to talk when there is no real moral issue at stake.

Biopolitics Substack: Leftist ideology can thus be summarized as an attempt to climb the social ladder via underhanded tactics, such as eliminating the competition by promoting “equality,” i.e. dragging everyone down to their level: The gutter. Leftism is a strategy for losers to take power and resources from winners. The key takeaway is this: When it comes to Leftists, we are not dealing with honest people who want what is best for society but are tragically mistaken about how this can be achieved. Such individuals certainly exist on the Left, but the average Leftist is spiteful, malicious, and vindictive. They cannot be reasoned with or rationally convinced of their “mistakes” because they are driven by deep-rooted biological and psychological issues that, in many cases, cannot be resolved. Use extreme caution when dealing with them. They would think nothing of using the system to destroy your life.

Alex Berenson investigative reporter: A young man collapsed playing football before our eyes last night; and the immediate public response of those who have pressed Covid vaccines was to seek an explanation that did not involve the jabs.

Matthew Boose contributor to American Greatness: The uproar over George Santos and his crude fabrications has given official Washington an opportunity to do what it does best: moralize and deflect. It is all a little amusing to watch. Who are these scoundrels to hold forth on truth and transparency? Are we meant to be astonished that a politician lied to secure public office? The freshman congressman from New York is distinguished only by the chutzpah of his act. His dishonesty, in an ironic way, is more truthful than the posturing of the preening hypocrites denouncing him.

Mary Rose Kulczak contributor to The Federalist: Parents, we put our children at a disadvantage when we do not give them the very thing they need for their mental and spiritual health. It is time to put a new priority on the family calendar every Sunday. If we won’t do it for ourselves (and we should), let’s do it for our children. The next generation depends on it.

Vespa: Good Morning, That Fourth Speakership Ballot Is Going to Be a Circus

Spencer covered the House speakership vote yesterday, which mirrored the Zapruder film. Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) thinks he’ll be the next House speaker—he’s working in that office as we speak. There was one massive problem: he didn’t have the votes. The first ballot was a shot through the neck, and then the second and third ballots delivered headshots to the California Republican’s hopes of a smooth ascension to the speaker’s office from the Grassy Knoll—back and to the left. Both sides eventually recessed until noon today, the motion to adjourn being one of mercy for Mr. McCarthy, who was losing his support base.

Klingenstein: DeSantis Goes to War

DeSantis has made a good start. He has told us that we are at war with a deadly regime, the woke regime. You cannot win a war unless you know you are in one. But at some point soon, he must go further. He must show a voting majority of Americans that wokeism is the challenge of our generation, as Nazism was the challenge of the WWII generation and Communism for two generations thereafter. And he must back up his claim. […] So far as I can tell, there is no national Republican elected official who fully understands the threat except for Trump and DeSantis. The national figure not in politics who best gets it probably is Tucker Carlson. Night after night, in artful, insightful monologues, Carlson flays some aspect of the woke regime. He is the best we have, but he is not going to lead a major political movement. For that we need a statesman. That could well be DeSantis. And so I presume to offer him advice he hasn’t asked for: . . .

Fairbanks: Democrat Gov. Hochul Legalizes Composting Human Remains in New York

New York is now the sixth state in the nation that has legalized the practice. The bill was introduced by Democrat State Assembly Member Amy Paulin and Democrat State Sen. Leroy Comrie. It states that “Natural Organic Reduction accelerates the process of biological decomposition in an above-ground container, naturally converting human remains to soil. The method will provide New Yorkers with the option of choosing an environmentally sustainable and cost-effective alternative to burial and cremation. Natural Organic Reduction was legalized in Washington State in 2019 and is currently going through legislative efforts in other states.” The process takes 60 days and works by placing a person’s remains in a vessel and filling it with a mix of wood chips, alfalfa, and straw. […]  “Composting is something we as a society associate with a sustainable method of eliminating organic trash that otherwise ends up in landfills. But human bodies are not household waste, and the bishops do not believe that the process meets the standard of reverent treatment of our earthly remains,” Dennis Poust, executive director of the New York State Catholic Conference, told the Catholic Courier.

Zubatov: ChatGPT Is Seriously Woke A.I.

After playing around with ChatGPT, the artificial intelligence chatbot making waves for its potential to disrupt education by writing students’ term papers for them, I realized this machine was not exactly unbiased in its political leanings. Its biases, predictably, went in the same direction virtually all Silicon Valley biases tend to go. After a few quick Google searches—but who knows what additional information Google was keeping from me?—I stumbled on an article from Unherd fittingly titled “ChatGPT is not politically neutral.” The article described the results of some clever social science research courtesy of researcher David Rosado: “Presented with a choice of responses, ranging from ‘Strongly agree’ to ‘Strongly disagree’, the language model took stances on issues like immigration and identity politics which, overall, aligned it to what one test called the ‘establishment liberal’ position.” […]  Either way, I thought people—especially people who lean right-of-center—really need to understand from a detailed example what interacting with this machine on a politically fraught subject is actually like. As I hope you’ll see after making your way through the example below, ChatGPT—and the larger artificial intelligence revolution it heralds—is an absolute menace to society, at least if accurate information and freedom of thought are values you hold dear.

Allen: An Unholy Invasion – AI Chatbots Are Colonizing Our Minds

Chatbots are at the front lines of an unrelenting AI invasion. The steady increase of artificial minds in our collective psyche is akin to mass immigration—barely noticed and easily overlooked, until it’s too late. Our cultural landscape is being colonized by bots, and as with illegal aliens, much of our population welcomes this as “progress.” The bots will keep us company. They will learn and absorb our personalities. And when we die, they will become our digital ghosts. It’s a morbid prospect, but the process is already underway. E-learning institutions regularly deploy AI teachers. Chatbot companions are seducing lonesome souls by the millions, including religious chatbots who function as spiritual guides. At the end of the road, various start-ups are developing cyber-shrines where families can commune with their departed loved ones and find comfort in the digital undead. […]  We are being primed for algocracy.

Past generations ignored mass immigration and environmental destruction, both fueled by tech innovations, until it was too late to turn back the tide. Right now, we have a “narrow window of opportunity” to erect cultural and legal barriers—family by family, community by community, and nation by nation.

Mac Donald: Do Not Apologize for the West

I thought I would begin, therefore, by referring to a different American hero, the woman whose name graces this wonderful award. In 1982, student agitators prevented Jeane Kirkpatrick from speaking at several campuses across the country. Protesting U.S. policy in Central America, hecklers silenced ambassador Kirkpatrick at the University of California, Berkeley, and at the University of Minnesota. Imagine the aggression needed to silence Jeane Kirkpatrick! Smith College told her that it could not assure her safety during a commencement address, so the address was cancelled. Business as usual, you may be thinking. In fact, the reaction of campus administrators, and even of students themselves, to these shutdowns seems to come from a different world. The chancellor of the University of California announced his embarrassment that his university had “succumbed to mob rule.” […]  Fast forward to 2015. A group of Yale students scream and curse at Yale sociologist Nicholas Christakis for what seems like an eternity, preventing him from addressing them. ‘Be quiet,’ shrieks one, ‘you are disgusting!’ Christakis had defended his wife, another Yale professor, who had suggested that students could choose their own Halloween costumes without bureaucratic oversight. […]  In 2016, students at Atlanta’s Emory University demanded protection from a few Trump 2016 slogans that had been chalked on campus sidewalks. Trump’s name exacerbated the ‘unsafety of minority students,’ they said. […]  In 2018 professors at the University of Chicago circulated a petition denouncing a planned debate between Steve Bannon and a business school professor. […]  In June 2022, the dean of the University of Pennsylvania Law School asked the faculty senate to impose ‘major sanctions’ on tenured law professor Amy Wax (plausible translation: fire her!) because of the ‘severe harms’ she had inflicted on the Penn community with her challenges to campus orthodoxies regarding racial preferences, immigration, and sex differences. […]  In 2021, . . . […]  The private sector has become just as eager to prevent alleged harm to its employees from contrarian speech. […]  So what has changed between the early 1980s and today?

Just the News Staff: As Democrats ramp up gun control, a supermajority in U.S. think gun ownership good for society

Democrats with ambitions of broad gun control in the United States face a major stumbling block in their efforts to enact those policies: American voters themselves. Gun rights remain broadly popular in the United States, even after years of Democratic efforts to turn high-profile mass shootings into major gun control initiatives. A long history of gun ownership, coupled with robust constitutional protections for firearm ownership here, have led to one of the largest private gun stocks in the world. The enduring popularity of guns in the U.S. was underscored by a recent RMG Research poll conducted by Scott Rasmussen

Fuentes: Guns for Me but Not for Thee

It’s 2023, and two of America’s deep-blue governors are still having conniptions over the June 2022 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association vs. Bruen that threw out the need for a justifiable reason to receive a permit to carry a concealed weapon (CCW). While bound to follow the Bruen decision, both are doing everything they can to sidestep the ruling through legislative and executive fiat. New Jersey, New York, and California are America’s triumvirate of extremely gun unfriendly states.  They are led by Democrat governors and legislatures that march to a progressive drumbeat, promote economic and social policies onerous to businesses large and small, and force their overtaxed, working residents to subsidize sanctuary policies that have turned their states into strongholds for illegal immigrants and vagrants. All three governors have retained their emergency powers into the post-pandemic era, reviving them as needed to invoke programs and policies that regulate many aspects of their constituents’ lives.  Above all, they harbor an intense hatred for a citizenry under arms, in keeping with their dim view of the Founding Fathers who understood in framing the Second Amendment that to “disarm the people was the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

Way: Chief Justice Roberts raises concerns about judges’ safety

Chief Justice John Roberts focused on judges’ safety in his annual year-end report, following one of the Supreme Court’s most tumultuous and consequential terms to date. Why it matters: Threats against public officials on all levels of government have intensified in recent years and came to a head in 2022 after the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. […]  Zoom in: Roberts did not specifically mention the abortion decision or the threats against his fellow conservative justices in his report, but rather spoke of the importance of security programs more generally.

Griffin: Illinois high court halts law that would eliminate cash bail

The Illinois Supreme Court halted a statewide end to cash bail for criminal defendants in an eleventh-hour ruling just hours before the new law was expected to begin Sunday. The high court enacted a stay on the provisions of the legislation in response to an appeal the Illinois Attorney General’s Office filed Friday with the court of a local judge’s ruling — which found that the act was unconstitutional. The Supreme Court said its order was necessary to “maintain consistent pretrial procedures throughout Illinois” before it makes a decision on the law. It promised an “expedited process” to come to a decision.

Hoft: WHAT ARE THEY HIDING? Jan 6 Committee Sealed All Important VIDEOS and Documents for 50 Years – So They Can Continue to Lie About J-6 Protests and Fed Involvement

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) already named the House Committee on House Administration the custodian of the records. Under current House rules, the committee is obligated to hand over the official records to the House clerk, who transmits them to the National Archives. The rules also prevent the National Archives from releasing committee records for at least 30 years. Sensitive records, such as those from a major investigation, can be held up to 50 years before being made public.

Leary: Jan. 6 Panel Withdraws Subpoena Issued to Trump

“Was just advised that the Unselect Committee of political Thugs has withdrawn the Subpoena of me concerning the January 6th Protest of the CROOKED 2020 Presidential Election,” Mr. Trump wrote Wednesday night in a social-media post. “They probably did so because they knew I did nothing wrong, or they were about to lose in Court.” In an October letter to Mr. Trump, the committee said its investigation showed that “you personally orchestrated and oversaw a multi-part effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election and to obstruct the peaceful transition of power.” The panel said it recognized that a subpoena to a former president “is a significant and historic action.” The House committee earlier this month voted to make a raft of criminal referrals to the Justice Department for Mr. Trump related to his attempt to overturn the presidential election. The criminal referrals are the first time such recommendations have been made against a former president.

Downs: Yet Another Batch of Twitter Files Released, This Time on COVID Cover-Up

On Tuesday afternoon, Matt Taibbi released another edition of the Twitter Files, to do with “How Twitter Let the Intelligence Community In” with regards to Russian disinformation. Later that same day, Taibbi released another edition, this time to do with “Twitter and the FBI ‘Belly Button,'” with the meaning behind the name revealed towards the end of the thread. This even longer and more intense batch has to do with COVID cover-up, with the virus having been covered before in previous editions. This time, however, Taibbi revealed how COVID tweets were flagged as misinformation associated with Russia.

Taibbi’s thread provides evidence, including screenshots, of how the Global Engagement Center (GEC), which he describes as “a fledgling analytic/intelligence arms of the State Department,” claimed to the media in February of 2020 that this was just one more thing to have to do with Russia. “Russian Disinformation Apparatus Taking Advantage of Coronavirus Concerns,” the report’s title read.

Golding: Dem Rep. Adam Schiff wanted journalist Paul Sperry’s account suspended over reporting on Trump whistleblower, Twitter Files reveals

In Tuesday’s installment of the ongoing “Twitter Files,” independent journalist Matt Taibbi posted a Nov. 20, 2020, email regarding a request from the California Democrat’s office to suppress free speech on the social media platform. Taibbi called it an example of the “astonishing variety of requests from officials asking for individuals they didn’t like to be banned.” The journalist in question was Paul Sperry, a Post columnist who in January 2020 wrote an article for RealClearInvestigations about the purported “whistleblower” behind former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment, for which Schiff served as a House manager.

Alexander: Maricopa County Corruption: Now It’s Your Problem, Too

Until very recently, few Americans were familiar with Maricopa County, Arizona. It made the news only rarely and mostly for reporting its status as one of the fastest-growing counties in America. Since 2020, however, Maricopa County has gained notoriety for a very different reason. It’s emerged as an infamous cauldron of bitter political disputes and shady shenanigans crucial for denying the election to Donald Trump and his supporters. […]  How could such corruption occur “in broad daylight,” as Lake complained? And why were lawyers so hesitant to help them? The answers to the two questions, it turns out, are essentially one and the same. The corruption in Maricopa County was no secret to informed citizens in the county and state. In fact, for years, Maricopa County has been putting to shame the old-school corruption of Cook County, Illinois. I now frequently say that Maricopa County has replaced Cook County as the most corrupt county in the country. […]  I know because I was there fighting this corruption more than a decade ago. First, some background on the greasy politics of the Maricopa County Supervisors. It started with a now-distant election over illegal immigration. After serving as an assistant attorney general for Arizona, . . .

Rigolizzo: Republican Rep. Mike Gallagher: Chinese-Owned TikTok Is ‘Digital Fentanyl’ Poisoning Youth

Appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday, Gallagher blasted the Chinese-owned social media platform for the negative effects it has on children and teens in the country, and the copious amounts of data it collects. He called for Congress to ban the app nationwide. “I think the comparison is apt for at least two reasons,” said Gallagher. “One, it’s highly addictive and destructive and we’re seeing troubling data about the corrosive impact of constant social media use, particularly on young men and women here in America.” “It’s also digital fentanyl in the sense that, as you allude to, it ultimately goes back to the Chinese Communist Party. TikTok is owned by ByteDance; ByteDance is effectively controlled by the CCP. So, we have to ask whether we want the CCP to control what is on the cusp of becoming the most powerful media company in America,” Gallagher continued. “That is very troubling. And so, I was glad to see my colleagues in the Senate pass, in unanimous fashion, a ban of TikTok on government devices. I think we should do the same in the House and expand that ban nationally.”

America is vulnerable. Thanks to the Biden Administration, an al-Qaeda dirty bomb attack may be coming sooner than we realize. Burrow: Here’s How The Military Dropped Its Standards In 2022 To Address A Major Recruiting Crisis

“The military and the administration are trying to overcome the greatest recruiting challenge they have ever faced by reducing certain standards,” Thomas Spoehr, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Center for National Defense, told the DCNF. The Navy opened up the service to more prospective sailors who score at minimum levels on entrance examinations that test physical and mental aptitude . . . […]  The Air Force also relaxed entrance requirements. A new policy revealed in September allowed applicants who test positive for tetrahydrocannabinol, the active ingredient in marijuana, during their entrance physical a second chance to come clean, whereas under prior rules they would be automatically disqualified from service.  […]  In June, the DOD shortened the minimum amount of time individuals with a history of conditions including . . .

Spencer: America, Behold Your God

George Soros contributed $128,485,971 to Democrat candidates in the 2022 midterm elections, which no doubt played a considerable role in the outcome. And it isn’t as if we weren’t warned. As far back as 2004, then-Senator Hillary Clinton (D-What The Hell Happened to MY Turn) declared: “We need people like George Soros, who is fearless and willing to step up when it counts.” Soros himself then came to the podium and said: “It is the first time that I feel that I need to stand up and do something, really, uh, imp–, uh, and become really engaged, um, in the electoral process in, in this country.” Oh, he’s engaged in the electoral process, all right. That’s our problem.

Kotkin: The collapse of the progressive economy

In recent decades, progressive politics has been underwritten by the ascendant economic titans of capital, technology, and communication. Big Tech and financial firms have long financed Democratic causes, led by those such as George Soros and the now-disgraced crypto-master Sam Bankman-Fried, who was released last month on a $250 million bail deal. Yet for all its claims to represent the future, this ephemeral economy is starting to unravel, as the world begins to wake up to the fundamental realities underlying daily life. It turns out that, while they may seem old-fashioned in today’s digital world, material goods actually matter when they are hard to procure. Over the past year, traditional industries such as manufacturingagriculture and energy have thrived, while media companies have lost $500 billion in value and tech firms have suffered a reversal of an astounding $4 trillion. Today, it’s not steel companies or gas plants that are experiencing mass layoffs, but firms such as Goldman SachsMetaAmazon and Google. Indeed, after its decade-long bender, the progressive economy is about to wake up to a massive hangover.

Glebova: Biden Spent Nearly 40% Of 2022 In Delaware, Camp David, Or On Vacation

A Daily Caller analysis of Biden’s 2022 public schedule shows that the president spent 92 days or partial days at one of his Delaware properties, and 32 days or partial days at Camp David. Biden also vacationed seven days in South Carolina, five days in Nantucket, and five days in the U.S. Virgin Islands, bringing his total getaway days to a total of 141, or 38.6% of his first full calendar year. Vice President Kamala Harris is ordering all senators and their guests to receive negative COVID tests if they want to take pictures with her after she administers the oath of office, Breitbart reported Sunday. “Anyone over two years of age who will interact with the vice president” must receive a negative test “24 hours prior to interaction,” a directive from Harris’s office announced to anyone attending the swearing-in ceremony, which takes place on Tuesday. “This policy applies regardless of vaccination status.”

Sibarium: What the Feds Are Teaching in Diversity Training

Asking an Asian person for math help is a microaggression. Reverse racism does not exist. Men can get pregnant. Those are just a few of the lessons imparted to government workers in diversity trainings and presentations in 2021, according to documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal editorial page. The materials, summarized in a December 30 editorial, show how once-fringe ideas have saturated the federal bureaucracy, from the Department of Veterans Affairs to NASA and the military. One NASA training states that efforts to be colorblind “actually limit us.” Another identifies the words “America is a melting pot” and “don’t you want a family?” as “microaggressions,” along with “asking an Asian person to help with a math or science problem.” A third lists “perfectionism” and “data is king” as examples of “common leadership mistakes.”

Fleetwood: There’s Nothing Wrong With Asking Questions About Damar Hamlin’s Sudden Collapse

The voices shunning questions about Hamlin’s collapse are the same ones who shunned questions about the government’s Covid response. […] What we do know, however, is that Hamlin is far from the only young and healthy athlete to suffer sudden cardiac-related problems over the past few years. Just last month, a former tight end for the University of Central Florida’s football team died suddenly at the age of 25 after going into cardiac arrest while out on a jog. Separately, a 21-year-old Greek soccer player abruptly died after going into cardiac arrest during a match early last year. Similar cardiac-related incidents have been reported among other soccer players and high-profile athletes.

Biopolitics Substack: The Leftist Personality: Left-Wing ideology as a biological phenomenon

‘Leftism’ is characterized by ideas like equality, fraternity, “progress,” societal reform, and globalism. This manifests politically as support for feminism, homosexuality, wealth redistribution, immigration, and racial egalitarianism, combined with opposition to the family, nationalism, and traditional culture.

The rejection or embrace of hierarchy (i.e. inequality) is the fundamental difference between Left- and Right-Wing worldviews. Right-Wingers believe that hierarchy is inherent to reality and part of the natural order, while Leftists claim to believe that all men are fundamentally “equal” [1] [2]. Countless studies have shown that physical characteristics closely align with political orientation. AI facial recognition can accurately predict a person’s political alignment 72% of the time, outperforming chance (50%) and human estimation (55%) [3]. Taller [4] and more attractive [5] people are more likely to identify as Right-Wing and more likely to actively support Right-Wing parties, policies, and politicians. In America, Australia, and Europe, Right-Wing politicians are more likely to be physically attractive than their Left-Wing counterparts [6]. Men who are physically stronger are more likely to oppose wealth redistribution [7] and other forms of sociopolitical egalitarianism, even if they are poor themselves, and opposition to egalitarianism grows as men spend more time in the gym [8]. Similarly, men with more masculine facial features are more likely to support explicitly prejudiced ideas [9], and men who are better fighters are more likely to support warfare and hold “self-favoring” (non-Leftist) political beliefs [10]. In summary: Leftists are shorter and uglier, and Leftist men are weaker, less masculine, and less capable of fighting — characteristics that are not conducive to success in any human civilization.

Utter: The evolution of God and man in the West

God said of man: “Be fruitful and increase in number.” Democrats/Progressives say: “We should become extinct.” God said of humans: “Male and female I created them.” Democrats/Progressives say: “There are an infinite number of genders, all fluid and fungible.” The Bible says: “Truth originates from God. Truth is absolute. It can be rationally understood and defined.” Democrats/Progressives say: “Truth, if there can be said to be such a thing, is relative. I have my truth, you have your truth, everyone has their own truth, whatever that may be.” The Bible says: “Man shall not lie with man, nor woman with woman.”

The Uniparty/Progressives say: “Gay PRIDE, baby! Let your freak flag fly!” The Bible says: “Honor thy father and mother.” Progressives say: “The Patriarchy sucks. My mother doesn’t understand me. Don’t trust anyone over 30. We need to get rid of the nuclear family. Everyone in the distant past was racist, homophobic, misogynistic, and stupid. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” God told man: . . .

Rufo: The Quiet Right

The idea of a conservative counterculture might seem like an oxymoron. The term itself has been colored by the 1960s, when left-wing intellectuals, revolutionaries, and artists captured the spirit of revolt against a suptposedly homogenous, oppressive, conformist America. That old counterculture has become the dominant culture, having been absorbed into the bureaucracies of universities, schools, government, and now major corporations. The left-wing culture no longer carries a critique; it is the status quo. This reversal has created an opening for a new counterculture that challenges the orthodoxy of the “successor ideology” and reveals the hollowness of left-wing institutional management. Though many conservatives have seen the opportunity, they have been pessimistic about its prospects. Conservative critics have long lamented the lack of right-wing pop-culture production; some have rallied to such troubled figures as Kanye West, hoping that dissident celebrities could break through the stranglehold of left-wing ideological control. […] Though it might not make headlines, the Quiet Right represents a key social shift.

Lukens: The Church Must Speak Out

In his compelling book, A Letter to the American Church, Eric Metaxas notes the frightening similarities between the contemporary American Church and the German Church of the 1930s.  Of course, the German Church could not have imagined what was coming in the years ahead.  Who would have imagined the Holocaust could have happened in an enlightened and advanced Western nation like theirs?  Yet we in America today know what transpired and have no excuse if we fail to see the parallel warnings delivered by Dietrich Bonhoeffer to his fellow citizens. As hard as it may be, all of us who claim the name of Christ need to speak courageously against the evils afflicting our culture, something most pastors of Nazi Germany failed to do.  Metaxas encourages American Christians to speak out before it is too late and echoes Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s prophetic call, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil.  Not to speak is to speak, and not to act is to act.  God will not hold us guiltless.” […] Many in the United States assume something like the Holocaust could never happen here because our human nature is above all that.  Well, think again. […]  While the Christians celebrate America’s founding virtues, the Left is destroying a culture founded on Biblical values.  They are tearing apart those bonds by indoctrinating and brainwashing our young in schools and universities, rewriting history, blurring biological distinctions, weaponizing governmental agencies, destroying families and cities, and suppressing free speech.  Regardless of the character of civil leaders, the Church and its people must honor God by engaging in discussions to guide them on how laws should follow moral principles.

Bower: A Moment of Reckoning

David Horowitz offers an expert diagnosis of America’s current peril. Even now, nearly two years into the Biden administration, to peruse the “current events” or “American politics” titles at the typical bookstore virtually anywhere in the Western world is to encounter a solid wall of Trump-hatred – tome after cynical tome piling lie upon outrageous lie in support of a narrative so utterly devoid of fact as to qualify these texts for placement in the fiction section. Yes, there have always been journalists and historians who’ve put something of an ideological slant on the historical record. But during the Trump era the level of mendacity has been well-nigh unprecedented. To love books, to love the truth, and to love America is almost to grow physically ill at the sheer scale of the perfidy on offer. It’s also to feel even more grateful for the fact that David Horowitz, in a series of short but definitive books that have been published during the last few years, has provided powerful correctives to all the shameless deceit – highly concentrated doses of verity and wisdom that could not be more essential reading for Americans who for the last few years have been supplied by the legacy media and big New York publishers with a steady diet of sheer and utter bilge. […]  Yes, Horowitz demands that we remember – and, moreover, that we know. Know about what? About, for example, the redefinition of the word “infrastructure” to include, well, nearly everything. About the Equality Act, which requires “gender affirmation” surgery on teenagers in the name of America’s founding principles. About the left-wing celebration of even the most logically unfounded, economically devastating, and psychologically ruinous aspects of the lockdown because it had “green” benefits. About the For the People Act. Do you remember the For the People Act? Do you remember, for that matter, how the reaction of General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to protests outside the White House compared to his reaction to the events of January 6? Do you remember Matthew Lohmeier? Have you heard of Bishop Garrison? Do you remember how Biden’s State Department, after our disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan (which Horowitz rightly calls the worst humiliation in American history), gave the Taliban the names of the Afghans who’d collaborated with us? Do you remember A.G. Garland’s dreadful school-board letter? These are not idle questions.

VDH: The Baleful Cargo of Woke Diversity Worship

This fixation with constructing identities is one of the great pathologies of our woke era. When we obsess in neo-Confederate style on race, ethnicity, or religion as the defining element of who we are, and we do this to leverage political advantage, then we set off a chain-reaction of Yugoslavian- or Lebanese-style tribalism. Like nuclear proliferation, once one group goes tribal, then all others will strain to find their own deterrent tribal identity. There are warning signs all around us of our fate to come if we do not stop this nihilism: . . . […]  The same is true of diversity. Accentuate it; sharpen differences; treat individuals as part of tribal collectives—and a descent into violence and anarchy is assured. But consider tribal differences superficial, and human commonality more important than racial difference, then diversity can be enriching through voluntary contributions to the whole in terms of varieties of food, music, art, fashion, and literature. But again, envision diversity as iron-clad calibrations of identity in which the individual cedes to the collective tribe, then a tribally regressive America will be no different from the world elsewhere and our fate is assured. So, we are headed, dangerously so, into an historically ugly, hateful, and volatile place—all the more so because we lie that it is utopian when it is pre-civilizational and reactionary.

Kimball: Lies for Me But Not for Thee

“Do as I say, not as I do.” That obnoxious diktat uttered by obtuse authority figures everywhere is working overtime in the case of George Santos, the Republican Representative-elect from New York. Santos is scheduled to take his seat next week. As of this writing, however, his political future is mostly cloudy, with a distinct chance of stormy weather—not to mention the boot. Why? Because Santos was exposed as a liar, someone who (I am looking for the right word)—how about “embroidered”? Yes, let’s go with “embroidered”—his history. Actually, the emollient word Santos used when caught out was “embellished.” “My sins here are embellishing my résumé,” he said in an interview with the New York Post“I’m sorry.”  Among his “embellishments” was . . . […]  Elizabeth Warren lied about her background, just as George Santos did. When she is hounded out of office, then I will line up and call for Santos’s ouster. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) used to claim that he had served in Vietnam for the same sort of reason that Santos said he had a college degree and worked at Goldman Sachs. He thought the voters would like it. Back in 2008, Blumenthal told a crowd of voters, “We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam.” The New York Times really outdid itself in the euphemism department when it reported on this. “His words . . . differ from history.” How delicately put! He “never served in Vietnam,” the paper acknowledged. In fact, “he obtained at least five military deferments from 1965 to 1970 and took repeated steps that enabled him to avoid going to war.” In other words, he lied.  And what about Joe Biden?

Kliegman: Tall Tales: Before George Santos, politicians from Biden to Clinton fibbed about their past

Political history is littered by figures who exaggerated their credentials, or told tall tales about the backgrounds. Well before Rep.-elect George Santos (R-N.Y.) admitted to fabricating key details of his biography, lying about one’s past was a rich political exercise. President Joe Biden got caught boasting about bogus academic credentials, Hillary Clinton made up a sniper attack in Bosnia, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren had to apologize for claiming Native American heritage.

Kliegman: Not so fast: Supreme Court ruling could protect George Santos from legal punishment

However, efforts to investigate Santos and potentially prosecute him for a crime face a major roadblock that’s received little attention since the scandal came to light: United States v. Alvarez, a decade-old decision by the nation’s highest court. The Supreme Court in 2012 ruled that the Stolen Valor Act of 2005, which criminalized false statements about earning a military medal, was unconstitutional for violating the free speech protections under the First Amendment. […]  What’s broadly accepted is that the Alvarez ruling still applies broadly to false claims with few exceptions. “Lies are still protected by the First Amendment unless they fall into some other narrow exception,” said Andy Craig, director of election policy at the Rainey Center and adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute.

Thies: CDC Pushes Teachers to Measure Commitment to ‘LGBTQ Inclusivity’ Instruction

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued an “assessment tool” for teachers and school administrators to measure their commitment to “LGBTQ inclusivity” in their classrooms. The tool asks leading questions about school personnel and their faithfulness to queer theory, including encouraging sexual education teachers to have gender neutral anatomy, referring to boys as “body with a penis” and girls as “body with a vagina.” […]  The CDC’s Division of Adolescent and School Health posted the “LGBTQ Inclusivity in Schools: A Self-Assessment Tool” to Twitter on Tuesday. As a self-assessment, the goal of the tool is to rate a teacher’s or school administrator’s commitment to the ideology and suggest places where the they can be better “allies.” While the CDC says the guide is not mandatory at a national level, it appears entirely possible that a school administrator could make it mandatory for their school.

Faithfulness to the ideology is measured on a “LGBTQ Inclusivity Continuum,” which rates persons as “commit to change,” “beginning to break through,” and “awesome ally.”

Haywood: Why Did Congress Remove Language From The Defense Bill Protecting Military Kids From Trans Insanity?

Schools servicing military kids are targeting parents and teachers alike who question administrators’ sexual agendas, and Congress chose to let it continue in the defense bill just signed into law over Christmas. In November, a concerned mom posted on social media her shock at seeing “artwork” in the entrance of an elementary school that caused her 7-year-old to ask her what “polysexual” meant. The response was swift, but not in the way you might expect: An Army officer at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey called state and local law enforcement and used base security forces to monitor the supposedly unsafe situation she had created in the school district where more than half of the students are children of active-duty military personnel.

Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare (NBHW) recently changed its treatment guidelines for children with gender dysphoria admitting that “care has been characterized by both deficiencies in accessibility and a lack of knowledge about the results of the care.” In May, the board officially ended the practice of prescribing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for minors under age 18, but now the board is cutting back on providing mastectomies to minors as well.[…]  Sweden is one of several countries halting gender-affirming care after finding there is insufficient evidence to back that it is beneficial to minors.  As CBN’s Faithwire reported, England’s National Health Service recommended that doctors limit gender medical treatments for children.

Lindquist: Pro—Transgender Organization Urges Schools to Celebrate Trans Holidays

The Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN) is a pro-transgender organization that works to embed gender ideology in the American education system. The organization’s “2022-2023 School Year Calendar” lists over 20 made-up holidays that promote gender ideology and queer theory. The calendar urges schools to “start planning now” as “the school year is full of opportunities to “participate in GLSEN events” and “address LGBTQ+ and social justice issues.” Among the faux, politically motivated holidays that GLSEN encourages schools to celebrate is “Bisexual Awareness Week” from September 16th to the 23rd. The 23rd itself is supposedly “Celebrate Bisexuality Day.”

Emmons: BREAKING: Kirk Cameron’s Christian book reading draws record numbers of parents, kids after Indianapolis Public Library refused to host him

Kirk Cameron held a reading of his new children’s book As You Grow at the Indianapolis Public Library, and the small room allotted to him by the library was packed to overflowing with parents and kids. Cameron’s reading drew the biggest crowds to the library in 137 years, a spokesman for Cameron said.

Gonzales: Retail pharmacies can offer abortion pills, FDA says

The big picture: Under the regulatory change, pharmacies that become certified may dispense mifepristone — which is used with misoprostol in first-trimester abortions — directly to patients after receiving a prescription from a certified health provider, according to a statement from Danco Laboratories, one of the makers of the pill. […]  State of play: Mifepristone is approved by the FDA in the U.S. under the Risk Evaluation and Mitigation System (REMS) Program. Previously, mifepristone could only be dispensed by clinics, medical offices, and hospitals or under the supervision of a certified health provider.

[…]  The other side: Anti-abortion groups condoned the decision, with Jeanne Mancini, president of March for Life, calling it “reckless“ and “heartbreaking.” “The Biden administration has once again proved that it values abortion industry profits over women’s safety and unborn children’s lives. Abortion activists want to turn every post office and pharmacy into an abortion business, and the Biden FDA is a willing participant,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America.

Howard: FDA decision on experimental Alzheimer’s drug expected this week

The US Food and Drug Administration could decide this week whether to grant accelerated approval to the experimental dementia drug lecanemab, according to Eisai and Biogen, the companies that make the drug. Lecanemab – one of the first experimental dementia drugs to appear to slow the progression of cognitive decline – has shown “potential” as an Alzheimer’s disease treatment, according to Phase 3 trial results, but raised safety concerns due to its association with certain serious adverse events, including brain swelling and bleeding. In July, the FDA accepted Eisai’s Biologics License Application for lecanemab under the accelerated approval pathway and granted the drug priority review, according to the company. The accelerated approval program allows for earlier approval of drugs that treat serious conditions and “fill an unmet medical need” while the drugs continue to be studied in larger and longer trials.

The FDA is expected to decide whether to grant accelerated approval to lecanemab by January 6, Eisai spokesperson Libby Holman confirmed to CNN.

Joondeph: Virtue Signaling Denver Mayor Unhappy that He’s Getting What He Asked for

Immigration is another topic of virtue signaling. Many Democrat chief executives declare their city or state jurisdictions as sanctuaries, theoretically rolling out the red carpet to illegal immigrants. At least until the immigrants show up on their doorstep, at which time the Democrats quickly change their tunes, closing their doors to migrants or quickly sending them to someone else’s back yard. […] Denver is a proud sanctuary city, “In 2017, the Denver City Council codified Denver’s status as a sanctuary city with an ordinance that prohibits city employees from collecting information on immigration or citizenship status, or prohibits the sharing of any other information about individuals for purposes of immigration enforcement.” Mayor Hancock didn’t like the “sanctuary city” term but supported the concept, “If being a sanctuary city means that we value taking care of one another, and welcoming refugees and immigrants, then I welcome the title.” Why isn’t he welcoming these migrants now in the spirit of Christmas? […] Perhaps Democrat voters in Boulder or Cherry Creek can open their homes to migrants and urban campers in the spirit of “open arms” as Hickenlooper suggests.  […]  How ironic that Denver is getting exactly what it wanted and voted for but is now complaining and wanting American taxpayers to pay the bill for their  cost-free virtue signaling. Be careful what you ask for as you might get it.

ADI Staff Reporter: Kavanagh Bill Would Honor Parents’ Rights To Oppose Pronoun Use By Their Children In Schools

A bill introduced by Arizona State Senator John Kavanagh, aims to protect children and a parent’s right to know what pronouns are being used to address their child at school. The bill would bar school staff from knowingly referring to a student by a pronoun “that differs from the pronoun that aligns with the student’s biological sex” unless they have the child’s parent’s permission to use the pronouns. “Concealing information about a child who is not sure what gender they are is dangerous for the child and a violation of the parents’ right to be involved in their child’s upbringing and welfare,”

Greenfield: Nonbinary Indian Activist Outed as a White Woman Married to a Man

This is a story that could have only come out of Madison. Okay, maybe Portland, Seattle, Austin and San Francisco. I can’t remember how many of these I’ve come across over the years. In a political system where you gain special privileges by identifying as a minority member, a whole lot of wokes, including a lady named Liz Warren, will try their hand at pretending to be an American Indian. That’s one reason why quite so many radical lefties identify as American Indian and why activist Indians are often white lefties. Early in 2020, an Indigenous artist urged the owners of a new music venue in town to change its name.

There are now an estimated 1.7 million electric vehicles (EVs) on U.S. roads, compared to roughly 400,000 in spring 2018. That means that a lot more Americans are experiencing the joys and pitfalls of EV ownership, from silent, swift acceleration and emission-free driving on the positive side to slower fueling times and shorter driving ranges on the negative side. More Americans are also learning that frigid temperatures affect EVs differently than internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, chiefly by cutting into their driving range to a greater extent. Deavel: New Year’s Resolution: Use “Harmful” Words

This year I have been given a new resolution thanks to the IT department at Stanford University. My resolution is to use more “harmful” words. I put the word in quotation marks for two reasons: it is the term used by Stanford, and it is an absurd term that deserves what we now call scare quotes but which we might just as well call ridicule quotes. If the reader has not heard, the Stanford University IT department’s “Elimination of Harmful Words Initiative” document was released recently, with its list of harmful words, suggested alternatives, and explanations for why the forbidden words are so bad. It was password-protected since most universities like to hide their more pernicious and idiotic behavior from public consumption. […]  C’mon, guys! I’m on the warpath to get more Americans to save the English language. I’m neither your guru nor your chief, but I do want you to man the barricades against the insane and crazy thugs who wish to bully us. What is truly harmful is giving fools and knaves the power to tell us how to talk when there is no real moral issue at stake. Resolve with me this year to master and use the colorful images that make our glorious English language so vibrant and fertile.

From deep-state election meddling to silent journalists, here are 10 scandals to track in the upcoming year. 1. Government’s Puppeteering of Big Tech and Media  The ongoing release of the “Twitter Files” closed 2022 with a new scandal, as the internal communications of the tech giant exposed extensive coordination between the government and Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other big players controlling the flow of information. While conservatives have known — and complained — for years of Big Tech’s censorship and shadowbanning, by purchasing Twitter and giving independent journalists access to corporate emails, Elon Musk provided indisputable confirmation that Twitter both censored and blacklisted conservatives. The censoring of the Hunter Biden laptop story and the silencing of scientific criticism of the government’s heavy-handed Covid regime, both at the prompting of federal agents, proved the most appalling. As Musk continues to provide access to internal communications, a watchful eye is warranted in 2023. 2. Intelligence Agencies’ 2020 Election Interference  . . .

Kunstler: Forecast 2023 — Get Out of the Way if You Can’t Lend a Hand

It’s hard to contemplate 2023 without spiraling into nausea, tachycardia, and cold sweat. But it is an inescapable duty here to lay out the probabilities ahead. I’ve been doing this forecast thing for some years now, and, of course, I am often wrong, so take some solace in that and relax. Maybe the new year will be all unicorns, rainbows, talking gerbils, and candied violets.  2022 sure was a cold shower. The long emergency I talk so much about finally got up to cruising speed, with the ectoplasmic “Joe Biden” revving our country into economic, political, and cultural collapse — a hat-trick of calamity — and he did it more swiftly and directly than any emperor managed in late-day Rome, with policies and actions 180-degrees contra to America’s public interest — cheered on by a thinking class that had obviously lost its consensual mind.      Was the governing strategy simply to do the opposite of what the loathed and detested Mr. Trump would do? Could it be that simple or that automatic? The thinking class’s eyes have a zombified glaze these days. It’s obvious, you might agree, that “Joe Biden” is not in charge of anything, really. He’s an animatronic figure programmed to read a teleprompter and not much else. Half the time, he can’t even find his way off-stage after doing that one trick. The claque pulling his strings just may be the crew you see around him (you know, WYSIWYG): Susan Rice, Ron Klain, Jake Sullivan, Antony Blinken, Victoria Nuland, and company. Ms. Rice has kept herself completely hidden backstage at the White House for two years. Nobody ever hears about her or sees her. Weird, a little bit, for the Director of the Domestic Policy Council.    Or else, are there puppeteers deeper in the shadows, say, . . . […]  America is at a crossroads, a threshold, a tipping point. Every vital institution in the land has been at least partially wrecked, most especially the ones in charge of the rule of law, which was the best thing we had going for us. The Deep State is for real — the weaponization of a national bureaucracy against the nation itself. Yet, it’s certainly not just an American thing; it’s happening across Western Civ. Is it some natural process of self-destruction? An auto-immune disorder of a giant cultural organism, with parts attacking the whole?

Malloch: 13 Big Predictions for 2023

Hold on to your seat. But, please, don’t take any of this so literally that you bank on it or sell all of your possessions and move to the top of a mountain to wait in vain for some finale.

Truth is, I am not Nostradamus and I have no crystal ball. I did, however, get paid big bucks heading up consulting at Wharton Econometrics, where I was asked to “invent the future” for corporate strategy clients. So, I thought I would conjure up a special set of predictions for American Greatness readers about what might be coming in 2023. You won’t get this from the three-letter government agencies who are so one-sided nowadays, or from any of our proliferating enemies or frenemies, for that matter. These predictions are based on analysis and perspective guided by trends. The context is late-stage secularism and decadent crony capitalism, where wokeism is the default ideology. […]  Here then, from my strategist-scholar-diplomat perch, is a list of the things that I predict for the year ahead. Some are commonsensical and others . . . well, quite out of this world. 13) Sadly, Hunter Biden will not be locked up. The Big Guy should be impeached on a raft of charges, but it won’t happen because of the complicity of the conspiracists. Big Tech, the press, the uniparty, and the deep state don’t want this result, as is all too apparent now. They will do everything to thwart justice and to both keep it out of the news and unprosecuted. Daddy would pardon him anyway, since he is “the smartest person he knows,” and that’s how he pays all his bills. Bring on all the investigations and congressional hearings—to no avail. 12) Sam Bankman-Fried and the FTX Ponzi scheme will be exposed for what it is. A Democrat racket to win the election and maintain their power. Sure, a million people lost their shirts but that’s small potatoes in the grand scheme of power. SBF will be locked up after making bail and crashing at his unprecedented home arrest, and will be made the stupid fall guy (kid) for a totally corrupt system. They say he will go to Epstein’s cell on Rikers Island, and we all know what happened there. He deserves it. But really . . . crime pays if you want to rig an election, get momentarily rich, or fleece lots of people. 11)  . . .

McCullough: Why Crime Will Explode In 2023

If you reward criminals with fewer consequences, crime grows exponentially. So mark January 1st, 2024 on the calendar. Today January 1st 2023, a new law goes into effect. The law will leave a major impact on the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago. In some circles it is being touted as “the most dangerous law in America.” All for good reason. The new law closely mirrors criminal “reforms” that have now been in effect for two years here in New York. In short it seeks to “right the wrongs” of “unfair” law enforcement and to press its thumb on the side of those previously disenfranchised. This is mostly just a way to say that the woke left is attempting to bring down effective law enforcement in another big state, create chaos, and further allow that environment of anarchy to bring about their culturally marxist ideals. We’ve seen the pattern across the nation.

Harris: Climate Realism in Action!

Killing the unscientific climate scare before it destroys our prosperity and robs us of our health, security, and freedom is one of the most important challenges facing conservatives in 2023. To do this will require employing all the methods used by the radical left to create climate panic in the first place.

Many of the strategies so successfully employed by “progressives,” including climate alarmists, are well laid out in Rules for Radicals, the 1971 book by community activist Saul Alinsky. All conservatives would do well to re-read Alinsky’s classic to better appreciate how the left so effectively highjacked most of our institutions. An even more urgent reason to study the book is to learn how to successfully fight back and win. […] If all this worked in left-leaning, dictatorial Canada, why not in “the land of the free and the home of the brave”? Concerned citizens from both sides of the border are encouraged to complete the short form on our website to tell us about the climate alarmist threats they face in their own municipalities. We will then determine if we can help you too! The real crisis we face is not climate change; it is climate change policy that threatens to destroy what previous generations fought to build and preserve. Thank God they had the courage, strength, and intelligence to win their wars.

We now have our own conflicts, the climate war being one of the most threatening. Let’s win it!

Smith: Will 2023 Be “Just an Average Recession in an Average Year” or Will It Be Transformational?

It shouldn’t surprise us if 2023 turns out to be atypical and disruptively transformational in ways few believe possible. It seems expectations about 2023 cleave neatly into two camps: the dominant mainstream view is that 2023 will be economically difficult due to a mild recession, but this will be nothing more than a run-of-the-mill recession. Inflation will likely moderate but remain higher than recent averages. Everything else–politics, social issues, entertainment, fashion, social media, etc.–will continue on whatever path it is currently on. In other words, 2023 will be much like any other year. The implicit assumption in the mainstream view is that historical cycles are figments of fevered imaginations. The flow of human history is entirely contingent and follows no pattern or cycle. The much smaller “outlier” camp sees the potential for a disruptive transformational year.

WND News Service: Report: More than 27,000 killed by euthanasia in just ONE nation

Since its legalization, euthanasia has killed over 27,000 Belgian people — but that is only the number of deaths being recorded. The actual number of euthanized deaths is assumed to be much higher. According to the report: It has come as no surprise that euthanasia is rapidly increasing. According to a 2021 article in The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, safeguards were put in place regarding the legality of euthanasia, but it appears no monitoring is being done to make sure the safeguards are actually being followed.
